*This is ported by Wattpad, feel free to come by as I've focused on making stories there rather here.*

Chapter 2 is here, enjoy the story that I have decided to work on.

Here this will begin the introduction of other characters. Nothing much is going around, but I will be providing a grounded work giving some comedy aspects. Like typical RWBY or I would like to call it, MCU comedy. You heard me.

Anyways, here is the intro songs, play em just like how you would introduce the show.

It is around late morning, at the port where Yang and Ruby are with their father Taiyang, and of course a dog corgi sits beside him panting excitably.

"Remember to take great care of yourselves." Taiyang assured his daughters.

"We will!" Yang affirmed with a thumbs up, along giving a shoulder hug to Ruby who smiled.

"Don't worry, Dad, I will make you proud!" Ruby beamed. "For Mom, and Uncle!"

Taiyang chuckled, "You already have been." He gives a hug to the two girls. "And I'm sure they will as well. Now, you better be careful for yourself. Don't overdo what you're already best at."

Ruby nodded, "I won't." She said. With that, the hug is let go as the two girls enter within the large ship ported nearby.

After a while, the ship has flied of to the sky, to the point the port has been distanced. Ruby is gazing the view through the window as Yang came by to join. "This is still exciting!" She gleamed. "My sister is gonna be famous, skipping two years to Beacon! They must think you're special!"

Ruby nervously laughed, "Well, I don't wanna stick out..." She replied.

Some of the new enrolled students then noticed her, "Hey, isn't that girl who kicked the robbers butt when robbing the Dust store?" He asked his colleague.

"By the Gods, she is!" A female student exclaimed. Some whispers occur, as Ruby noticed causing her to pull her hood down to cover her face.

Yang sees this and giggles, "Already you got fans." She remarked.

"Yang..." Ruby pouted at her big sister.

"Alright, alright..." Yang assured her. "But soon you're gonna need some new friends."

"Can't I stay with you the whole time?..." Ruby wondered.

"Well..." Yang pondered, as she recall previously...

Last Night... Yang and Taiyang are in their house as Yang is simply petting their pet Corgi as it barks happily. "Glad to see you more energetic as ever." Taiyang replied.

"Why could I not?" Yang smiled. "Ruby is with me."

"It's good you girls are supporting each other." Taiyang stated. "But you must know to eventually Ruby needs to learn from herself."

"...Yeah." Yang sighed. "Though, it's interesting you are now considering it." She gazed at her dad.

Taiyang laughs, "I guess maybe she has grown up..." He admits. "Just make sure Ruby is with you, but let her make the decisions. Even if I am here, she'll bound to make friends no matter how hard I resist."

Yang nodded as she stood up, "I'll try my best to make Ruby sociable." She promised to her father who he nodded.

"Forget about that." Yang replied as Ruby glares for not being told why. But then Ruby gets encountered by another female student whose eyes stare at her closely.

"You. How did you get the approval?" She questioned her. "Is it your strategy ti sneak your way to Beacon?"

"I..." Ruby tries to explain but other students came in.

"Is it true?" A male student asked.

"Do you have that weapon you use?" A second female student asked. "And how do you handle that weapon?"

Before Ruby can complied. Yang intervene, "Alright that's enough shall we?" Her eyes changed red which frighten some students as they walk away, they don't wanna mess with her.

Ruby sighed in relief. "Thanks Yang."

"No worries, now let's go find some friends." Yang smirked as she drags Ruby whose face look betrayed.

Meanwhile, a boy is standing by watching the news. He wears silver armor that covers his vital parts almost fully armored. His attire consists of long sleeve dark blue button up shirt with a tailcoat, and formal pants and shoes. And he has dark blue hair with some light blue streaks, along having bright blue eyes.

"Last night, a robbery store occur at Vale, lead none other by the infamous Roman Torchwick who continues to evade authorities. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Vale Police Department. Back to you, Lisa." The reporter named Cyril informed the news.

"Hey, it's him..." A female student whispers to her friend who is surprised by this as well.

"Yeah, it's Slate Sapphire." She replied. "The prodigy of Sanctum Academy, he's actually here!"

"Yo, can't lie he looks cool." A male student remarked.

"Yeah, can't blame him if got eyes settled on him." Another one said.

Not hearing the news due to the whispers, Slate glanced at them but not noticeable for others to see him. He sighed deeply from the praise said by others, but it was bound to happen...

Yang and Ruby are walking through the ship, as they found him standing by. "Look, he's all alone perfect time to make your first new friend." She pointed.

"Yang, I don't think that's a good idea..." Ruby tries to respond but Yang takes her causing her to panic.

"Heya!" Yang waved, causing Slate to turn to her. "Hi, I am Yang, this is my sister Ruby." She gestured to Ruby whose behind her. "Don't worry about her, she is just shy."

"You're sisters?..." Slate wondered by seeing the two. "As in, half sisters..."

"Yep!" Yang smiled, "And your name is?..." She asked.

Slate widen his eyes, he didn't expect such a question like this. "Um..." Yang tilt her head confused, so she isn't faking it. "...It's Slate."

"Ah, cool!" Yang grinned. Ruby however turns to see some students are shocked to see them, even female ones are glaring with hints of jealously.

"Um, Yang...?" Ruby tugs her sister's shoulder as she turns to see her, "They are staring at us..." She pointed the crowd.

"What?" Yang perked up as she sees what Ruby saw. "Jeez, what's their beef?" She wondered.

"It would be advise to ignore them." Slate advised. "It's due to me you're talking to."

"Really?" Yang replied as she stares at him, like she's analyzing. "Besides the good looks, are you suppose to be important to them?" She asked.

"I..." Slate paused as he speaks. "So, you don't know me?"

"Nope." Yang shook her head. "Say, don't mind we hang out?" She asked. "My dear sister has entered in Beacon early and she needs to avoid from others gossiping about that."

"She attended Beacon early?" Slate asked.

"Mhm! Two years!" Yang stated.

"It was nothing..." Ruby mutters out, "I just stop the robbery and Headmaster Ozpin gave me to enter." She said which Slate recognized the sentence.

"...You're the girl who stop the crime last night, from Roman Torchwick." Slate respond.

"Yep! She is!" Yang nodded.

"It wasn't like I want to get in Beacon like that!" Ruby tries to explain, "I wasn't trying to be special..." She said.

"Aw, but you are special!" Yang hugs Ruby whose looked more embarrassed than ever. But Slate simply stares, without a hint of chuckle, as he smiles. "Just so you know, my dear sister has enter early, it would be very kind for you to help her out make new friends."

"Yang! Don't pressure him!" Ruby fretted.

Friends... Before Slate can reply, "Excuse me?" A voice spoke off, as the three turn to see who is the one, reveal it is a girl. But unlike the other students, she wears a white with light blue tint dress, her white hair is tied back as a ponytail at the right. Her pale fair skin shows and notably she has a scar on the right eye, as her cold blue eyes glare at Yang and Ruby.

Next to her, was a man with dark eyes and hair, his attire consists a formal uniform wear with hints of white and dark, along with blue colors. He looks serious next to the irritated girl he's beside.

"Um... Hi?" Ruby waved.

"Do you have any idea, who you are speaking to?" She asked the two.

"No?" Yang asked.

"He's Slate Sapphire!" She exclaimed.

"Yeah, we know." Yang replied.

Her eyes twitched by hearing this response, she regains composure, "He's the prodigy student of Sanctum Acadmey." She stated. No response, she is shocked to see this reaction. "He's won the Mistral Region Tournaments four years in a row!"

"The what?" Ruby asked.

She is getting more angry, "He's on the front of every Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flakes box!" She blurted out, waving her arms.

Yang and Ruby widen their eyes, "You're the guy in the cereal box!" Ruby exclaimed at Slate who laughs nervously.

"Wow, you must be like a celebrity!" Yang complimented.

"Though didn't the cereal taste awful?" Ruby asked, causing the white hair girl to gap her mouth open.

"Yeah, it was so bad, dad had to toss it out, he cried how he wasted Lien on this box." Yang giggles which Ruby even giggles back.

"Indeed... It wasn't healthy nor good." Slate admits.

"Agreed." The boy added as the white hair girl glanced at him.

"Anyways, what seems to be the problem?" Yang suggested.

She glares at Yang, "What I am saying, that you two seem to be talking someone whose leagues above better than you." She stated.

"Oh jeez, so sorry about that princess." Yang roll her eyes.

"Yang!" Ruby worried as she does not want to start a fight.

"...You!" She retorted.

"It's actually heiress." Someone spoke out as they turn to see a girl with dark hair and amber eyes, she wears a white sleeveless undershirt and black vest, and other dark clothes, and notably a bow on her head. "That is Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company, one of the largest producers of energy propellant in the world."

"Oh." Yang responded.

"Yang!" Ruby shook her sister rapidly.

The bow-girl glanced at the boy whose beside Weiss, "And you are Adrian Venator, also heir to the Venator Manufactures, number one top technology and weapons creations." She stated, causing an eyebrow raise by Adrian himself.

Weiss smiles by this. "Finally! Some recognition!"

"However the Schnee Dust Company has many articles depict itself of their infamously for its controversial labor forces and questionable business partners." She stated.

"What?! How dare you!" Weiss rebuked. "Do you really believe this?"

"You totally ignorant if you haven't seen the bigger picture." The bow-girl rebuked with a neutral tone.

"Okay, okay!" Ruby step in between. "Maybe we can start over again..." She tries defuse the situation. "Hi, I am Ruby, this is my sister Yang." She introduced herself and her sister. "Hello Weiss, Slate, Adrian, and..." She looks at the bow-girl.

She sighed, knowing this is inevitable. "Blake." She replied.

"Blake!" Ruby beamed. "So how about we settle something nice, maybe we could go shopping? Grab some school supplies." She suggested.

Weiss roll her eyes as she makes her fake act. "Of course! And we can paint our nails and try on clothes and talk about cute boys, like tall and ruckus over there." She pointed back at a boy whose has bright orange hair and bright red eyes, whose attire is a sleeveless shirt and pants, as his arms and legs are wrapped by some clothes, making him stand out like he's a desert wanderer.

He perked up when Weiss pointed him. "Me?" He questioned.

"Really?..." Ruby smiled.

"You've got to be kidding!" Weiss yells, causing Ruby to yelp in reaction. She huffed and turn around, "Please don't ever speak to me again." and that she walks off, Adrian remains silent as he watches before he follows her.

Ruby sighed, she turns to Blake who already walked away, a more deeper sigh occur. "So much for making new friends..." She groaned.

"Hey, you have Slate!" Yang grinned.

"Of course." Slate nodded. "If you like, I could be your friend."

"Yeah, that's a plus one." Yang replied. "Celebrity to celebrity!"

"Not funny!" Ruby grunted. "And I don't know if you could relate to this when he's a prodigy."

Then the news from the screen gained their attention on something new, "In other much very recent news, this Saturday's Faunus Civil Rights protest turned dark when members of the White Fang disrupted the ceremony. The once peaceful organization has now disrupted to violence as they forced their way." A reporter named Lisa informed.

The news shows footage of Faunus people, people with single animal traits, holding signs and some began throwing objects at the police as demonstrators holding signs saying "WE ARE NOT ANIMALS!". And then even some police officers has restrain some Faunus. Lisa continued, "And many accusations that the White Fang are responsible for these multiple Dust Robberies despite the recent being none other than Roman Torchwick, while the criminal escape, luckily the damage still remain minimal thanks to the Police and the Hunters. For now the Schnee Dust Trade has planned to fortified security and increasing precautions."

"Huh, so that's not just that store..." Yang muttered, surprised how they withhold most information in the officials, did not stop the gossip but still...

"So this was Blake mention about?" Ruby sees the news as she consoles for these Faunus. "And it was true, I saw Roman there." She mentioned about the recent Dust robbery.

"Indeed, to this day, people can't accept what they are. And already accused such nonsense." Slate remarked.

"And this Ice Princess is mad about this?" Yang questioned about this.

"Yang, please..." Ruby worried.

"Alright Ruby, just for you know this is just my first impression." Yang crosses her arms.

"Okay." Ruby nodded. "Right now we just need to be the best Hunters we can give to this world!" She stated.

"That's right, Sis." Yang smiled, liking her enthusiasm same with Slate whose surprise such a young girl like her can have this positive outlook. If only he know...

Then an announcement calls out as the hologram appears revealing the Huntress which Ruby recognized, that she was at the city last night when stopping a robbery. "Hello and welcome to Beacon! I am Glynda Goodwitch. You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy! Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world." Then the hologram finishes causing an exciting commotion from others.

"Hey look!" Ruby pointed out the window, Yang and Slate looks where her point of view and there it is... And not just them, almost all students goes to the window to see none other than Beacon Acadmey itself.

The view shows the large cliff's edge that overlooks the city of vale from a vast distance. There is a massive tower along its avenue and many structures. There multiple ships are heading to the docking bays.

"There it is..." Yang smiled.

"It is looks amazing..." Ruby gasped. Slate smiled, seeing the Acadmey itself.

Later, the ships are docked at the bay, many students are walking out, gazing in awe seeing they are their dream acadmey.

One of the student, a fox ear Faunus, with gulden yellow eyes and dark hair looks around the place, his attire looks a bit worn off, and looks to seemed to be like hand-me-down clothes. He continues to look the place, as his expression hints of tension and yet determination.

Bump. He felt a jerk hit, causing him to fall onto the ground, dropping his items notably a object that collapse itself in to a bat weapon.

"Watch it animal!" The one student speaks out as he laughs. The fox ear Faunus looks up to see it was a tall student who has orange hair and wears silver-gray armor with gold trim as he laughs.

He remains unresponsive nor insulted what he is called, as he is about to pick his bat... Another hand grabbed as he looks up. He meets the gaze of bright red eyes, seeing the same bright orange hair boy who looks like an outside desert wanderer given his outfit consists sleeveless as his arms and legs are covered with cloths.

"Need a hand?" He asked with a smile.

The fox Faunus, slightly hesitate, but he takes his hand as he stood. The orange flamed hair boy gives his bat. "Thanks." He replied.

"No worries, bud." He smirked and gives a friendly wave before heads. He stares at him, before he continues walking.

Back at Yang, Ruby, and Slate as they already walked out and through the pathway. They are right behind the mass crowd, due to not gaining any attention, thankfully Yang is here, Ruby warns Slate not to mess with Yang if you're trying to make her angry.

"So... What's your weapon?" Ruby wondered.

"Really Ruby?" Yang deadpanned. "You go from this as your first talk?"

"Shut it Yang!" Ruby yelled at her sister as she quickly changed her anger expression to happy. While Yang shrugged, unfazed by her shout.

"You are interested in weapons?" Slate wondered.

"Yep!" Ruby nodded. "I'm kind of a dork when it comes to weapons, so... I guess I did go a little overboard when designing mine. Like mine." She then takes an object that transforms into a scythe, "This is Crescent Rose, it's a scythe combined with a customizable high-impact sniper rifle!" She introduced her weapon.

"Interesting..." Slate replied. "Well, I have this sword..." He unsheathes his sword, despite just a blade, the hilt looks mystical, giving a royal look.

"Oooo!..." Ruby is intrigued by the weapon. "And does it transform into a..." She assumed.

"...A sword." Slate stated.

"That's it?" Yang is impressed. "Usually, we have these." She shows her fists as her bracelet transforms into gauntlets.

"Well, I like it! Not many people have an appreciation for the classics these days." Ruby complied.

"Indeed, it was from ancient times when I was given this." Slate explained his sword. "Surprising how it still shines throughout many years."

"Your family must've cared for it." Ruby smiled.

"Right..." Slate replied, as Ruby mentioned Family he was a bit distracted. He needs to get rid of it now, "So you called your weapon, Crescent Rose?" He asked.

"Uh huh." Ruby nodded. "Yang also called her weapon, Ember Cecilia. Weapons are like an extension of ourselves! They're a part of us!"

"...I'll keep in mind." Slate noted.

"So your sword doesn't have a name?" Yang asked.

"I never thought of it..." Slate replied.

"Oh! I can help with naming!" Ruby suggested.

"...I would like that." Slate nodded. Ruby cheered as Yang smiles seeing her talk out to someone.

At the time, they arrived at the auditorium, many people are standing there.

"I must go, I'll see you when its done." Slate stated as he walks off.

"Bye Slate!" Ruby waved as he waves back. Though getting some glares by other students, Yang sees this and glares back as her iliac eyes change from red once more causing others to back to their normal ways.

"Well, so far, it's going well?" Yang asked.

"Yep!" Ruby agreed. "I have a feeling this is going so well!" Just as the students wait, Ozpin himself and Glynda appear on stage, as Slate stares at Ozpin with a soft smile.

The Headmaster clears his voice before he speaks through the mic, "I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction." Suddenly many whispers occur to each other. He continues. "You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step." Then he walks off.

Glynda speak up the rest of the announcement. "You will gather in the ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed." She stated.

Yang and Ruby are confused by this, "That was... Off." Yang remarked at the speech.

"Yeah..." Ruby nodded. At the crowd, Slate seemed unfazed by this, this is typical serious talk for all students to learn about themselves on this journey. As usual honest you are, father...

At the night occurs, everyone is in their pajamas as they set up bed in the ballroom. Yang and Ruby are also in their pajamas as Yang sighed as she lies on her sleeping bag.

"This feels like a massive slumber party!" Yang grinned.

"I don't think Dad would approve of this many boys..." Ruby replied.

"I know I do..." Yang smirked at the sights of boys in their pajamas, which are basically shirtless showing their muscles. At the other side, the same fox Faunus is walking by, carrying his sleeping bag looking for a spot...

He looks around but sees other humans and already some Faunus students are there, but he frankly doesn't want to go near them. But he hears something, his fox ears perked up, he knows that sound, just as he was about to prepare what's coming...

It didn't happened, someone walked past him seeing it was the same guy who shoved him to the ground, as he has a look of annoyance while he walks away.

"Are you okay?" A voice calls out as he turns to see Slate in his pajamas which is a simply shirt and pants. "He was going close to you." He replied.

"I'm fine..." The Faunus replied.

"Hey!" The same orange haired boy joined in, much to the Faunus' mental discomfort. He is wearing his undershirt pajamas, showing his slight muscular body as he smirked, "Say, I was like thinking we should all hang out." He said.

Slate blankly stares at him, "You know him?" He asked the Faunus.

"...Once." He mumbled.

"Yep, helped him when that jerk shove you for no reason." He shakes Slate's hand, as he introduced. "Hiro. And you must be..."

"Slate." Slate introduced himself.

"Oh, cool. You're that famous guy, girls whisper about you. Though I guess you are already taken." Hiro remarked.

Slate assures, "They are friends, Ruby and Yang don't know much about my status." He said.

"Ah, and neither do I, hey I should be your friend as well." Hiro smirked. Slate felt as soon as he's in Beacon, more people don't know from Ruby, Yang, and Hiro, this feels like a small world... Hiro turned to the Faunus, "What about your name? We're bound to be together so best to introduce yourself!" He suggest.

"It's Pablo..." The fox-Faunus reveal his name.

"Alright, say, how about it? We crash together and settle together as friends of men." Hiro gives a shoulder hugs around both Slate and Pablo. Pablo felt uncomfortable, while Slate stare awkwardly, wondering how the girls are doing okay...

Ruby and Yang are begin to settle, then Ruby sees Blake sitting by the chair, reading a book. Yang soon see her. "Hey, it's Blake." Ruby pointed out.

"Yeah, she left before we even get to say hello." Yang remarked. "She seemed alone..."

"Yang..." Ruby stares, before Yang grabbed her arm. "Why..."

"Hello!" Yang calls out to Blake who looks up to see them in front.

"Um... Hi." Blake respond awkwardly.

"Say, we haven't fully interact each other." Yang replied, she gives a soft elbow bump to Ruby who fake grins but she return the favor, Yang glares at her sister so she continues to talk. "So... I like your bow! Goes great with your pajamas."

"Thanks... " Blake advised.

"So that must be a nice book." Yang added.

"Yes, and I will continue to read..." Blake replied, a pause occur. "As soon as you leave..."

"Well, I tried." Yang deadpanned as she was about to walk out.

"Your book..." Ruby asked as Blake and Yang looked at her. "What is it about?"

Blake looks at her book as she speaks, "It's about a man with two souls, each fighting for control over his body." She explains.

"That sounds... Lovely." Yang raised her eyebrow.

Ruby tries to continue. "I love books. Yang used to read to me every night before bed. Stories of heroes and monsters... They're one of the reasons I want to be a Huntress."

Blake lightly scoff with a smile, "And why is that? Hoping you'll live happily ever after?" She questioned.

"Well, I'm hoping we all will. As a girl, I wanted to be just like those heroes in the books... Someone who fought for what was right, and protected people who couldn't protect themselves!" Ruby stated.

Blake stares at Ruby before she gives a small smile, "That's, very ambitious for you." Then her expression shifted. "Unfortunately, the real world isn't the same as a fairy tale."

"Yeah..." Ruby nodded but she is determined to cheer her up. "But, that's why we're here! To make it better." Yang smiles seeing Ruby now fully letting herself out, you know what? Making friends doesn't seemed to be hard...

Blake smiles at Ruby's remark, her words speak out pure, "Well, Ruby, and Yang..." This gained the attention of these two girls. "It's been a pleasure. I think we should all go to bed."

"Of course, thanks Blake!" Yang complied as the two walk off as Blake closes her book. Yang then gives a quick hug, quietly squealing for Ruby's accomplishment. Ruby grunted but agrees with Yang's action, she started to make friends...
