ACE COMBAT: INDEPENDENCE DAY

35. Chapter 35: Into The Mothership

us navy (guest): Against a massive 15 mile wide spacecraft? Not going down like that.

Here's chapter 35 everybody.

Chapter 35: Into The Mothership.

Michael and Henry's alien attacker approaches the massive alien Mothership. As they get closer, they see a triangular shaped entrance, which leads to a long triangular tunnel. The spacecraft slowly goes through the entrance and flies in the tunnel. As they enter, Michael and Henry look at the scenery. There were lots of green lights coming from the tunnel walls, and there were large structures up ahead. There was also a blueish-greenish mist. As they go deeper into the ship, the mist thickens. Once they reached the other side of the tunnel and finally inside the Mothership, Michael and Henry couldn't believe their eyes.

"Oh my God." Henry whispered.

Looking at the surroundings, which is really 'alien', the two pilots could barely see a thing since the mist gets thicker and thicker. They can barely see multiple bubbly towers, other alien fighters and huge medium size ships, which are believed to be troop transport ships. Suddenly, once they pass an alien tower, they finally see the command center, which is a massive hive-like structure. Both Michael and Henry went wide-eyed.

"Look at that." Henry muttered.

As they get closer to the center, they see other medium size ships at the bottom, confirmed to be troop transports as Michael and Henry can see millions of alien troops entering those ships. A whole alien army! The aliens, in their biomechanical suits, look up to see the spacecraft approaching the center, shrieking, communicating with each other.

"There must be thousands of them, millions of them. What the hell are they doing?" Henry said.

"Looks like they're preparing an invasion." Michael replied. Henry looks at disbelief.

The spacecraft approaches the command center, which also serves some form of base for the alien fighters. As they get closer to docking, they can see through the windows of some form of control room, the Alien Supreme Commander.

"Hey, I don't like this. This is stupid, they can see us!" Michael said nervously.

"Oh, no, no, no. This thing comes fully loaded. AM-FM radio, reclining bucket seats, and...power windows." Henry said as he flips a switch, which causes two sets of doors to cover the windows, thereby making sure the alien can't see the infiltrators.

Afterwards, the alien spacecraft finally docks, and a set of alien clamps secures the ship. After a second of silence, Henry starts typing into his laptop. Apparently, the alien communications are on his laptop thanks to the invader's technology, so Henry can somehow communicate with the aliens, translating to their language.

"Come on, baby. Come on, baby." Henry whispered.

Afterwards, Henry is online with the alien host.

"We're in." Henry said.

Henry immediately starts typing on his computer. Once he hits the ENTER key, the uploading of the virus begins. Long Caster is tracking it back at Earth.

"Lieutenant General Shepherd, he's uploading the virus." Long Caster said.

"Strider 1, the package is being delivered. Stand by to engage." Shepherd said as Trigger and other pilots put on their oxygen masks and lower their visors.

"Roger. Strider 1. Check left." Trigger said as he and other pilots turned their planes to the left.

Back at Area 95, ground troops are preparing their AA weapons. At the same time, base personnel and Lincoln heads to the civilians.

"Hey, listen up. We have an emergency situation. We need everyone to grab everything they can. Only what you can carry. We need to get you inside immediately!" Lincoln said through the intercom to the civilians.

Back at the Mothership, the virus has been uploaded.

"The virus is in." Henry said.

At that moment, the alien's consoles, monitors and screens start to flicker, making many aliens start to shriek, seeing that their monitors are having mysterious problems.

"All we can do now is pray." Henry said.
