No one knew we were seeing each other. Rachel wanted to keep it quiet.
We hadn't figured out where things were headed. But we loved each other.
And for me that was more than enough.
The last few times we saw each other. Which was more recently.
Rachel brought up the idea of us having a baby.
Which I was surprised by but fully on board with.
So we decided to try and get pregnant. When it wasn't happening.
She was more sad and disappointed then I expected.
It showed me then that she really wanted this and I wanted it too.
The color draining from his face. When he saw an ultrasound picture. Near a picture on Rachel 's mirror. It took him off guard completely.

Brooke had spent days putting up flyers and getting the word out about Rachel.
She was used to being forgotten and ignored Brooke refused to add to that list.
When she saw Lucas coming out of Karen 's cafe. She glared at him. Then turned away.
(What happened to moving forward not looking back?)Brooke questioned.
When he went up to her. Trying to explain.
(Brooke I'm sorry okay. You don't get it. You aren't close to you're family.) Lucas said.
(My friends are my family. Especially Rachel. And I thought you were too.)
(But it seems like you're love comes with conditions and I've had more than enough of that.) Brooke replied.
(What exactly do you want from me here? I'm honest with you. I try to make our relationship the focus and none of that is enough for you.) Lucas proclaimed.
(Was Peyton right. Did you just put up with Rachel because of me?) Brooke asked.
When Lucas didn't respond Brooke left.

Karen 's face softened as she opened her front door. Days Later.
(Grandma Karen!) Larry and Amy exclaimed happily.
As she engulfed them into a hug.
Karen knew all she had to do was wait around. And hold on for the right opportunity
That would give her the chance to give her son son the love understanding and support he needed.
