Due to time dilation, Frontier occured between 02 and 01, but before 01 in the digital world.

A/N END.

Takuya set about explaining his memories of his time in the Digital World, the tale of the Legendary Warriors. "About two years ago, My friends and I were summoned by Ophanimon. She needed us to save the Digital World. Our flip-phones..." Takuya twisted the wrist that held his flip-phone, it rotated back and forth like a steering wheel. "...Became our D-Tectors. They still have a little bit of power. These D-Tectors, gave us the power to Digivolve into Digimon." That sounded weird now that Takuya told the tale, but it was awesome. Takuya paused his spiel for a moment as he thought about how to tell the rest of the tale.

Before Takuya could start rambling again, Rise interrupted. "You got your super powers from your phones. Which were D-Tectors before. And those D-Tectors let you Digivolve... I'm jealous. Seriously jealous." Rise held up a Black and Blue device resembling a RC Car remote. This device resembled a D-Tector though several details looked wrong.

"All I've got is my dinky old D-3." Rise claimed. "According to the Digi-Forum, it allows Armor Digivolution, but I don't have any Digimentals." She rambled a bit further. Takuya thanked the circumstances for the chance to think. All nonchalant and unsubtle, Zoe walked to Rise's D-3 and started inspecting it. "Digi-Forum? Something like that exists?"

"Someone in the previous generations of Digidestined set it up yesterday. I got sent a link on my D-Terminal. It has this really handy guide on what things are and how to care for Flymon..." Rise shot Takuya a fuming glare. The switch from pleasant to begrudging unsettled Takuya. "You've still got to apologize to Flymon."

"Yeah, right..." Takuya figdeted with the floor. "Sorry, Flymon." This is ridiculous, Takuya thought... "Wait a minute, why is Flymon here in the first place?" It did not make sense, Flymon even digivolved to protect Rise. Evolving was a long term goal for digimon. A digimon proverbially snapping it's fingers and digivolving was out of the question.

Rise considered the question for a moment. "I remember being in Odaiba when it was covered in Fog, Evil Digimon invaded back then. Flymon there was one I bonded with over the invasion. I met Flymon in the digital world a year ago."

Takuya blanched. Digimon invaded the real world at one point? Wow. "Takuya, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Zoe asked. She was dancing on air.

Takuya was still reeling from the fact that Digimon had invaded the real world at one point. "Can you take us back there? To the digital world?" Zoe asked after Takuya didn't speak. "Sure! I have a digiport back home." Rise said with a smile. Takuya and Zoe shared a look. Digiport? Everything was digi nowadays.

"Flymon, can you take us there?" Rise asked her digimon. "Sure, Rise! Just hop on and I can get us back home in a lickety split gosh golly jiffy."And then they were flying.

The suburbs were amazing from the air... all these neat little houses in a row. It lit a fire in Takuya's heart. If flying in the real world was this beautiful, what was flying in the digital world like?
