**Eric's POV**

As Max and I continued our determined stride through the Dauntless compound, the weight of our mission pressed heavily upon us. Our expressions, etched with anger and resolve, were a clear signal to anyone who crossed our path that we were on a warpath, and we had no intention of backing down. The events that had unfolded in the training room had pushed us beyond the brink, and we were ready to confront the leaders with our demands for justice.

Max's voice, firm and authoritative, broke the silence between us. "Eric, you'll let me do all the talking. This is my faction, and while I understand that my daughter is your girlfriend, I have a way with words that will leave no room for anyone to oppose us in having Four thrown over the Chasm."

I couldn't deny the logic in Max's words. He was the leader of Dauntless, respected and feared in equal measure. His authority and reputation within the faction would carry significant weight in any discussion with the leaders. Yet, my own anger, fueled by the image of Tris lying battered and unconscious in the infirmary, smoldered beneath the surface. I longed for immediate action, for retribution to be swift and unrelenting.

"Max, come on," I responded with urgency, my impatience evident in my tone. "Tori will be there to support me, and she's with Tris right now. She'll have to video chat to be part of this meeting. I'm more than ready to throw Four into the Chasm right now."

The frustration that had built up throughout the day was impossible to contain. The desire for swift justice for Tris burned within me, and I couldn't bear the thought of Four escaping the consequences of his actions. We were on the precipice of confronting the leaders of Dauntless, and there would be no turning back. The fate of Four, and the integrity of the faction, hung in the balance, and I was prepared to do whatever it took to ensure that justice was served.

**Max's POV**

As Eric and I entered the meeting room, the tension in the air was palpable. I knew that Eric was seething beneath the surface, frustrated that I had insisted on doing the talking. But the matter at hand was of utmost importance, and I needed to address it as the faction leader.

Eric took his seat, his annoyance evident, but I couldn't allow personal feelings to cloud our mission. The matter of the Chasm was a serious one, and I had a responsibility to uphold the principles of Dauntless.

I rolled the TV screen over to ensure Tori could join us over video chat. Her presence was crucial in this discussion, given her role in Tris's upbringing.

Without wasting any time, I began to address the room, my voice firm and resolute. "Let's get to this. My daughter has brought forth some accusations against Four. I understand that some of you may think I'm playing favorites, but that's not the case. I do not believe my daughter should be in the infirmary right now, especially considering how her mother, Tori, trained her back in Abnegation."

I expected questions and challenges, and they came almost immediately. Henderson raised his hand, and I shot a warning look at Eric, urging him not to react.

Henderson's inquiry was expected, questioning the fairness of training someone before they officially joined Dauntless. Tori, not one to mince words, stepped in to provide an explanation.

"Not that I owe any of you assholes an explanation, but I'll clarify what happened to Tris," she began, her voice laced with irritation. "I found a little girl, no older than four, in the middle of the Factionless field during one of my patrols. She was bloody and covered in scars. When I asked her what happened, she wouldn't tell me anything. I brought her home and found Andrew Prior, who appeared to be just another concerned parent. At the time, we didn't think much of the situation and believed a Factionless member was responsible. Andrew was one of the leaders in abnegation I had no reason to suspect him at that time. The next time I saw Tris she was 10.

I can continue to go Further so I can explain to you what the fuck she has been through and why I fucking trained her. I saw this 10-year-old little girl in the corner in class when I had to teach them about what each faction meant and when I dismissed for the kids to go play Tris sat there. I took that moment to walk up to her and I asked her what faction she wanted to be in, and she said Dauntless I couldn't help but ask her why, why would a little abnegation girl want to transfer to us? We are known as one of the hardest factions. Right then and there this little girl looked up at me and just point blank said Dauntless don't fear."

As I hear Tori speak about what Tris said to her. I begin to feel guilty even though I didn't know till choosing day what Tori was doing with Tris or even who she was I just can't help but feel like this is all my fault because I put Tris in abnegation. Helen would be destroyed if she knew what her daughter went through. I let them both down next thing I know I'm snapped out of my thoughts as Tori continues on.

"I did what absolutely anyone would do I asked her what she was afraid of and when she told me it was going home. I did not expect a 10-year-old to tell me in full detail that she was raped by Andrew Prior and Natalie Prior but that also Marcus Eaton and his son Tobias Eaton."

**Tori's POV**

The room hung in silence, weighed down by the revelation of Tris's past and the choices that had led her too Dauntless. It was a story that challenged the very foundations of Abnegation, exposing a darkness that had long remained hidden.

"Why, you ask yourselves," I reiterated, my voice laced with bitterness. "Because Tris didn't conform to the mold of a 'good' Abnegation child. She was different—fearless, independent, and unapologetically herself. And that made her a target."

The gravity of Tris's experiences weighed heavily on me as I continued to recount her journey.

"I made a promise to her," I explained, my voice filled with determination. "I promised to train her, to give her a chance to be herself and embrace her inner strength. I let her know that it was okay to play, to break free from the suffocating expectations of Abnegation. She took that message to heart. She went out to play."

The room remained hushed, each leader processing the implications of Tris's upbringing and the choices she had made.

"And then," I continued, "came a defining moment. Some of the other children, taunting her for her desire to join Dauntless, challenged her to prove herself. To do something daring, something that a Dauntless would do. Tris didn't hesitate. With unwavering determination, she climbed the monkey bars, defying their expectations."

I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride as I recalled that pivotal moment in Tris's young life.

"But her act of bravery didn't go unnoticed, I saw 2 boys run off and before I knew it" I concluded, the memory still vivid in my mind. "Natalie Prior, her supposed mother, arrived at the school and forcibly dragged Tris away. But not before I had the chance to silently convey to her to meet me in the Factionless sector the following day."

The room remained somber, the weight of Tris's journey sinking in. It was a story of resilience, defiance, and a young girl's unyielding spirit in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

That following day I showed up in the factionless sector and I could not believe the new scars she had plus some very old ones that had time to heal. I asked Tris "Why Dauntless? Why us we are known as the ruthless and loud faction." I couldn't help but notice some people were trying to hide their smiles despite what I am telling them I know Max and Eric are just wanting me to get this over with but everyone else needs to understand the full picture first.

"Tris told me that she never belonged there and even though she was only 10 she knew what she wanted, and she carried a lot of Dauntless traits. I made sure she knew it wasn't going to be easy and she said she was ready but not before telling me that she thought about ending her life before I came along, and I told her whenever those thoughts came up to tell me because we will take them out together. From that moment on I started to train Tris because normally in an abuse case we go to the faction leader but considering Marcus was in on it there was no way I could go about normal protocol. Now Tobias Eaton we can deal with because you all know him as Four."

The atmosphere in the meeting room shifted. It was clear what I had brought to light made everyone more determined. I could tell at this point everyone is going to Back Eric and Max and I have no doubt in my mind. Four has sealed his own fate in the dauntless compound. You go against one of us you go against us all.
