Well, well, well. Looks who's fucking back after years. Yes, it's me suckers, you thought you could get rid of me but I prevailed...and just decided to post this chapter because I forgot I finished it. So yes, I'm not back back, mainly because I am serving my mandatory 2 year national service in the police since February but you all don't need to worry about that since I'll just be back to dying again after this chapter releases.

You can tell I'm absolutely burnt out on this story, and you're right because MHA is tearing me apart with the story in the beginning. Butttttt, hopefully with the start of this original arc I'll probably pick it back up again. Speaking of which, I've decided to just focus on Shinjiro's POV from here on out. Let's be honest, no one wants a retelling from Midoriya's POV after watching the anime and reading the manga.

Oh, yea. With the release of this chapter I'm also changing the one giant ass irk everyone's had with chapter 1 and the stupid fucking phone thing. I don't know what 3 year old me was thinking when writing that. So rejoice bitches, there won't be anymore idiots telling me bout that shit anymore because even I got sick of that scene due to the pure stupidity.

Anyways, enjoy the short chapter before getting a 10k chapter next year.

Shinjiro's eyes widened at the revelation. He instinctively grabbed the young boy by the collar and slammed him against the nearest wall.

"How do you know that?" Shinjiro's voice was even more hostile than before.

"Now, now…we can talk this out," The boy tried to negotiate.

"Cut the bullshit and tell me…now!" Shinjiro yelled.

After being slammed against the wall again, the boy raised his arms up. "Ok…ok. First off…hi. I'm Seiji Hokuto."

Despite the boy being held by his collar, he still had the time to introduce himself.

"And well…it seems like, I too have been experimented on," Hokuto said, causing Shinjiro to slowly realize his situation. Shinjiro's grip on his collar weakened but Shinjiro still kept a firm grip.

"Explain it to me," Shinjiro insisted. He knew what he was getting. He just didn't know it would be some made-up story.

"Oh…well. I- I don't really remember…" Hokuto trailed off.

"Do you at least know what happened? Or at least…what happened after?" Shinjiro pressed.

"Oh yeah, when I woke up I went to a police station to get help but they said I wasn't registered at all," He explained. "It was like I never existed."

"Anything else after that? Did your parents forget you? Anyone at school?"

"W- well…heh. Here's the thing, I don't have parents," Hokuto said. "I was basically raised in an orphanage. And they didn't remember me too so…yea."

"...I'm sorry. But it does seem like you're telling the truth," Shinjiro let go of the boy.

"Woo, thanks. But now my shirt's all wrinkled," Hkouto started to pat down his crinkled shirt.

"Why me though? How'd you know who I was and more importantly…how'd you even get here?" Shinjiro asked.

"Hey, one question at a time. I know I have to prove myself to you and whatever, but it's a little too much with my brain to comprehend."

"I can't trust you if I don't know," Oh great, state your reasons right in the open.

"I mean… one: you're part of the Toujou family so who wouldn't know you? Actually, probably everyone because they forgot about your existence. Anyways, I found out when I saw a family photo of them on the news and since you weren't there, I managed to put the pieces together," Hokuto explained. "After I saw you at the sports festival then I knew I had to seek you out."

"I see…but how'd you get in here?" That was something that didn't add up to him.

"Oh…I study here," Hokuto placed his hands on his hips.

"Huh? Since when?" Shinjiro narrowed his eyes.

"Since the start. I got placed in the general class though which kinda sucked," He rubbed the back of his head.

"I'm guessing you hid with the crowd to not stand out?"

"Bingo! Had to make sure you were the real deal!"

"That seems a bit…lazy," Shinjiro deadpanned.

"It is what it is," Hokuto shrugged.

"So… what was the point of calling me here to this dark gym?"

"Oh yea…I almost forgot about that. Basically, we should team up Senpai," Hokuto proposed.

"Team up?"

"Yup! Team up to smash the fools who did this to us and maybe throw in a couple more things into the mix."

"...I'm already tracking Kazuya so no thanks," Shinjiro declined before turning around.

"What? That's it? I haven't even told you about the company he works for yet," Hokuto's words stopped him in his tracks.

"What do you know about his company?"

"Welllll, I would tell you but that would mean you'd have to join me," The boy had a cheeky smile on his face.

"So this was a ploy to get me to join you?"

"Of course not! I'm just saying that if you don't team up with me then you're going to be missing a lot of extra details~"

"...Meet me at the gates after school," Shinjiro said before walking away.

"Okie dokie! See you later Senpai!" Hokuto waved as he disappeared into the darkness.

"Hokuto…Seiji?" Shinso's puzzled face expressed volumes.

"What? You don't know him?" Shinjiro furrowed his brows.

"It's not that I don't know him…it's that I've never heard of the kid," Shinso scratched the back of his head.

"What do you mean by that?"

"...It's that I've never heard of him."

"Fair enough."

Shinso sighed. "Despite the general classes getting together sometimes to discuss…personal stuff, I don't think I've ever seen that Seiji kid."

"That's…slightly concerning," Shinjiro replied.

"I knew it! You pricks were doubting my amazing sense of perception weren't you!"

"Oh wait," Shinso suddenly said in his monotone voice. "I remember now. There was this kid who would almost never attend class but still managed to stay in. I don't know how but that's probably him."

"That's still weird though. Why would he go through so much effort to get here only to just not attend," Shinjiro pointed out.

Shinso shrugged. "Beats me. I wouldn't care much about a guy like this anyway. Why'd you wanna know?"

"The guy called me over through some cryptic bullshit just to say he wants to hang out after school," Shinjiro sighed before slumping in his seat.

Shinso raised an eyebrow. "Do you think-"

"Don't," Shinjiro interrupted him.

Shinso sealed his lips and went back to eating his lunch. Shinjiro sighed as his eyes wandered the cafeteria, eventually stopping on a certain orange-haired girl. Kendo raised her hand and gestured him over.

Shinjiro sighed, knowing he couldn't get out of this one. He sat from his seat.

"Where are you going?" Shinso asked, not looking up at him.

"Uhh," Shinjiro looked back at Kendo's table, which was only filled with the girls from her class. "I hope not girl problems."

"Jeez, already getting into that mood huh?" Shinso shot him a sneaky smile causing him to be smack on the back of the head. "Ow, okay I deserved that."

Shinjiro rolled his eyes as he walked in their direction.

"Shinjiro! Over here!" Kendo shouted and waved him over.

Shinjiro smiled and waved back as he made his way over to their table.

"Heyyy! It's mister beat em up!" Setsuna detached her arm before lightly punching the boy's shoulder.

"Is that what I'm known as now?" He furrowed his brows.

"Heard a bunch of people talking about how you pummelled…and then got pummelled by explosion man over there," The girl gestured to Bakugo doing…Bakugo things.

"Oh…alright," Shinjiro looked over to the other girls sitting at the table. "Hey, Yanagi, Shiozaki."

The two nodded their heads in acknowledgment before going back to slowly eating. The dense guy definitely did not notice a faint blush on their faces.

"You already have lunch?" Kendo asked as the boy sat down.

"Nah, I'm not really hungry anyway…" Shinjiro said, his gaze stopping on the rest of the girls he hadn't met yet.

"Oh, right! I should introduce you," Kendo gestured to the others. "That's Yui Kodai, Kinoko Komori and Pony Tsunotori."

"So he's the guy you've been fawning over," Yui bluntly stated, causing Kendo to let out steam like a train.

"What?! No!" Kendo shouted. "I am not-"

She turned her head towards Shinjiro who just blankly stared back, causing her to blush even more due to how close they were. She moved a couple of feet away from him as he continued staring.

"Ooh, looks like the shippers are starting to set sail~" Setsuna cooed.

"S- Setsuna!"

As Setsuna continued to tease Kendo, Shinjiro kept staring, although he was thinking of something else.

"Hokuto…could he be related to Yapool? It's a bit coincidental that he's made contact with me after I met up with the alien…"

"Shinjiro!"

"Huh?" Shinjiro jumped in his seat, taken aback by the sudden yelling. "Huh? What's up?"

"You were kind of spacing out there. Everything okay?" Kendo asked.

"Oh- Oh yeah… everything's fine don't worry. Just…didn't get much sleep last night," Shinjiro rubbed the back of his head.

"Well, you should learn to sleep earlier," Kendo chastised.

"Don't listen to her! She's been trying to get all of us to sleep early. It's a nightmare I tell you!" Setsuna grabbed Shinjiro by the shoulders.

"Setsuna…why you!" Kendo then proceeded to chase the girl around with her comically large fist.

"So…Shinjiro-san," Pony spoke up, slightly struggling to form sentences due to her American background. "Who are you picking for the…workplace training?"

"Oh, that? I'm not sure," Shinjiro pulled out the list from his back pocket. "I didn't get any offers personally so I'm just gonna take my time."

"You're surprisingly chill despite not getting any offers," Reiko commented.

"Game's the game y'know."

"St- Still, after beating Kendo-senpai and then nearly Bakugo…I thought you'd have at least some," Pony said.

Shinjiro shrugged. "Ask the school that."

As if on cue:

"Mister Shinjiro, please come to the principal's office," The PA system announced.

Shinjiro's eye twitched. "Why did I say anything?"

"Seems like trouble is coming to find me again," He sighed as he got up. "Wish I could stay longer, but it seems fate has other things in mind. See you."

He waved as he walked off towards Nezu's office, the others waving back.

"H- Has he always been that cool?" Komori asked.

"His aura does radiate that of calmness," Shiozaki agreed.

"Can't believe all of you were that quiet, usually most of us are the rowdy bunch," Setsuna commented, who managed to get some breathing room from Kendo.

"Why do you always have to make me visit you?" Shinjiro deadpanned.

"I rarely get to see you nowadays due to my busy schedule," Nezu said as he brought out a small lunch box. "Have you had lunch?"

"Not hungry," He said, taking a seat. "So, what'd you want to talk about? We do need to advance the plot after all."

"Indeed we do," Nezu nodded, disregarding that unnecessary fourth wall break. "Have you decided on a hero agency yet?"

Shinjiro shook his head. "I was thinking of one thou-"

"Great! Because one hero personally requested you!" Nezu clapped his hands together.

"Eh? Who?"

"Me," Shinjiro turned his head towards the entrance and, what do you know, Kamui Woods was standing right there. "Yo."

Shinjiro shot to his feet before turning back to Nezu. "Kamui Woods? He really requested me?"

"Of course, after I saw what you've done at the sports festival," The hero said. "I knew you had a lot of untapped potential and I think I can help with that."

"Oh, okay. I accept."

"Together I will show you the true ways of being a hero and- wait did you just say you accept?"

"Mhm," Shinjiro nodded.

"Ugh, guess that speech I prepared wasn't really needed," Kamui rubbed the back of his head.

"It's the thought that counts," Nezu smiled. "So it's settled then? Kamui-san here will take you in for your hero studies."

"It's an honor to work with you sensei," Shinjiro held out his hand for a shake.

Kamui lightly chuckled. "You don't have to call me sensei, but it's good working with you too."

The two shook hands signaling the deal.

"Now, we just need to sign the documentation," Nezu said, placing down a sheet of paper.

"Oh boy."

~{After school}~

"So you ended up picking Kamui Woods huh?" Midoriya asked.

"More like coerced into it," Shinjiro told the boy as they were walking to the gates of the school.

As they got closer, Shinjiro spotted a familiar boy leaning against a wall, tossing and catching his wallet. When the boy noticed, he grabbed his wallet one more time before turning his head to face Shinjiro. He gave him a small smile as the boy sighed.

"Gotta go, see ya," Shinjiro said as he walked toward Hokuto. The boy was eagerly waiting for a reply

"So? What's the answer?" Hokuto asked.

Shinjiro sighed. "As much as you may be lying…I'll bite the bullet."

He then stuck out his hand. Hokuto enthusiastically grabbed it and shook it.

"Great! Nice having you on the team senpai!"

Shinjiro let out a soft grunt. "Good, can I go home now?"

"Oh yeah sure! Go ahead!" Hokuto chuckled as Shinjiro walked past him. The underclassman watched as he walked away before lifting up the wallet in his hands and opening it. He pulled out a couple of cards and stashed them in his pocket before closing the wallet and throwing it into the nearest bush. Hokuto then turned in the opposite direction and walked away whistling.

~{Internships Day 1}~

Skipping straight to the first day of the internships, everyone was pumped and ready for their first-ever experience in the outside world.

Before they left, Aizawa left them with a couple of words. "You all have your costumes right? Remember you're not allowed to wear them in public. Don't lose them, otherwise, I'll be wondering how the hell you made it to U.A. Make sure to mind your manners around the heroes at the agency. Alright, off you go now."

"Yes sir!" The class shouted before enthusiastically making their way to their respective agencies.

Shinjiro took a quick look at the train arriving at the station before deciding on an alternate method.

"You coming?" Shinso stood beside him.

"...I've got transport," Shinjiro said before turning around and slung the other side of his backpack onto his shoulders. "See you around."

"Uh…ok…" Shinso awkwardly lifted his hand up.

~{Kamui Wood's Apartment}~

The hero checked his watch as he waited impatiently at his desk.

"He's late," He said to himself, annoyed. Another few seconds passed by before he got up in his seat.

It was then a loud clanking sound rang throughout the room. Kamui ran towards the front door and swung it open, fearing a villain's attack. In front of him stood a metallic figure clad in red and silver accents. A certain blue light in the middle of its chest illuminated through the dust around it.

"Yo, sorry I'm late," A voice spoke through the helmet. It made a hissing sound as hydraulics expanded the helmet before the figure grabbed and pulled it off. "The suit took a little longer to put on than I anticipated. Fifteen minutes to be exact."

"O- oh…it's just you Shinjiro," Kamui said, still tensed up before coughing to himself. "You're late, and why are you wearing your hero costume?"

"My bad, it was stored in U.A's workshop so I had to go back and get it. Plus, I can't exactly store a giant metal suit in my bag without making a scene."

Crossveins formed on top of Kamui's head. "And how exactly did you get here?"

"I jumped."

"Don't you think jumping here as an unknown would cause even more people to be suspicious? Did you even think that through? And why did you make a hero costume out of metal-"

"Huh, when I thought I'd be coming to an agency I didn't think it'd be your…apartment," Shinjiro looked around the hero's humble abode.

Kamui sighed to himself. This was going to be a long internship.
