Author's Note: I apologize if the personality of the characters and the way they act is wrong. I've never read Percy Jackson and copying the way existing characters act is extremely hard for me. Should feedback be given on how to improve them, I shall do my best to adhere!

Percy Jackson(and its related characters/terms ect) and Dark-Hunters(including characters and terminology) are all owned by their authors! I do have a few original characters that will be present including Areius.

Now that that is out of the way, this is to satisfy my own curious brain about what would happen if Percy, Annabeth and Grover found themselves mixed up in the world of Dark-Hunters by Sherrilyn Kenyon. In order to keep this as original of a concept(considering many of the crossovers for these two works/worlds often have the same characters involved) I will attempt to keep some of the canon characters out of the picture.

Chapter 1

It had been almost a week since the defeat of Gaea; Percy, along with Annabeth and Grover, were ready for a vacation. So when they got the news from Dionysus and Chiron they couldn't help but be overly cheerful. Their happy moods were fueled further by the news of their vacation destination: New Orleans, Louisiana.

However unbeknownst to them that upon their arrival, they'd gone through some sort of rift into a world similar to their own. With many differences and even threats that lurked in the shadows.

The three checked into their hotel rooms, Annabeth and Percy in one and Grover in another next door. After getting their belongings situated the three went out. They spent hours eating many new foods and sweets, enjoying the nightlife as the sun began to set on The Big Easy.

A small map of the French Quarter in their hands as they cut through an alleyway to quickly head to Jackson Square. They stopped to quickly plot their next little adventure spot, when ten extremely tall and oddly attractive blonde men surrounded them.

Another four men with dark olive skin and short dark hair stepped out, one of them made a tsking noise. Percy dropped the map he held and reached into his pocket, pulling out a pen. The man in front of Percy laughed as he saw what the boy held "A pen? You're going to fight us with a pen!?"

The man looked at Percy and Annabeth, a murderous glee in his eyes as he spoke. "Why don't you just give up and don't fight us. We'll make this quick and painless for the three of you." Percy couldn't help but laugh a little "It takes fourteen men to rob three people?"

"Oh, we're not looking to rob you." Percy turned to look at the one behind them that spoke and started for them. The daimon came at Percy, sword in hand and engaged the son of Poseidon in sword combat. After a few moments, Percy was beginning to realize this man was equally skilled as him.

The sounds of clashing metal rang loud in the alleyway as Annabeth tried her best to keep Grover safe. The daimons in front of her knocked her down and she rolled out of the way before she was kicked. Out of nowhere a sword appeared within reach next to her.

Areius walked down St. Peter, humming to himself as he sipped the rest of his coffee. His godly powers and demonic blood alerted him to the presence of daimons and gallu demons. 'What the hell? What business did gallu demons have with daimons?!' He looked around before shielding his presence and flashing onto a building above where he sensed them.

Staring down at the black haired boy who seemed to be holding his own against the spathi he was engaged in a fight with. However what caught his attention was the girl who was protecting a satyr with nothing more than her mere fists. She was brave but stupid he thought, then conjured a sword for her to use.

'Strike him swift in the heart!' Percy and Annabeth perked up at the disembodied male voice. Skeptical, Percy parried and pierced the blonde's chest, causing the daimon to burst into a shower of gold dust.

Annabeth watched this and kicked both the daimons off their feet and stabbed them as they fell. She thanked Grover as he helped her up, and then turned back to the fight. With the help the voice gave them, the two began to gain the upper hand in the fight.

As the spathi number dwindled from ten to eight, then to eventually zero, the gallu looked at each other. With a nod they started for Percy and Annabeth, they were stopped in their tracks by a sudden gust of wind. The gallu closest to Percy charged him and attempted to bite the demigod but was met with a tin can to the eye.

He turned and flashed his fangs at the satyr and shoved Percy aside and started for Grover instead. A flash of metal went through the alleyway and an instant later the demon's head came off his shoulders and fell upon the ground. "You demons should've stayed in your hole."

The gallu turned to the newcomer who had his back to the street. Annabeth and Grover turned to the man who spoke, standing at 6'7 he had broad shoulders and was well muscled. The daughter of Athena turned to see what he'd thrown and in the brick wall was a knife that still dripped with blood.

Despite the power that rolled from the man, two of the gallu charged him as the last one attempted to sneak attack Percy. Areius summoned electricity and sent it at the two, frying them in a few seconds. Grover threw a rock he'd found on the ground at the back of the demon's head causing him to turn around.

Before it could move any further, Areius appeared beside him and delivered a punch to the gallu's gut; lifting him off his feet. He promptly grabbed it by the head and slammed it against the ground, crushing the demon's skull. Grover, Percy and Annabeth watched as this man brutally murdered the last of their opponents.

Areius surveyed the alleyway and used his powers to clean up the remaining golden dust that hadn't blown away. He then sat about repairing the damaged wall and removing the demon's bodies. Finally he turned to the three kids "None of them bit you did they?"

Percy watched the man before returning Riptide to its penform and putting the cap back on. They shook their heads no, "Good… well you fought pretty good." Percy scoffed "Well of course we did, if we lost to them our training would've been wasted. Anyway, who are you and why'd you just come here to kill those last four?"

Areius smiled and crossed his arms over his chest "My name is Areius, and I sensed a battle so I came to your aid. Seeing as you three defeated the majority, I decided to take it upon myself to finish off the worst of them." Something about the man bothered Annabeth, his voice seemed familiar.

"Excuse me.. Areius." "What is it?" "Were you the one who spoke earlier, telling us how to beat those blonde men?" Her question was answered with a nod, and filling in the blank she realized that he must have summoned the sword as well.

She cautiously approached him and offered the sword back to him but he declined it. "I don't need it, but seeing as you were fighting them with your fists you could use it so keep it." He reached his hand out and used his powers to turn it into a short dagger.

Annabeth watched as Areius summoned a sheathe for the dagger then handed it to her. Sliding the dagger inside of it, she secured the weapon around her waist, using her shirt to hide it from view. "When in combat, just unsheathe it and then imagine it to your preferred length." Nodding, Annabeth introduced herself, followed by Grover and then Percy.

"I hate to say this, but until I figure out why exactly the daimons and gallu attacked you three, I'm going to have to escort you someplace safe." Percy shook his head no "As much as I appreciate the help, I don't exactly trust you. After all, we don't know what you are."

"I'm a demigod, son of Zeus if you wish to know further." Areius said rather bluntly, to which Grover nodded. "That makes sense, your ability to control lightning seemed oddly familiar to me." Percy didn't like this answer, however he had even more questions.

Annabeth could tell Percy wasn't too happy about the man's true origins, however she was able to convince him to hear what Areius had to say. "We'll need our luggage." Annabeth said, having gotten Percy on board.

After filling him in on where they were staying, Areius agreed to retrieve their stuff after getting them to their sanctuary. He picked up the map from the ground before writing something down and handing it back.

Percy looked at it and noticed Areius had drawn a path to a random spot. "It's a safe haven, as long as you don't start fights or get into trouble they'll welcome you. Go ahead and I'll follow you three."

Annabeth wasn't sure why the man wanted to follow, since he seemed to know where they were going. However, now wasn't the time for getting into that so she nodded and gave a smile before lightly pulling on Percy's hand and led both boys to their destination.
