Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Halo. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Halo, Microsoft, 343 and a few others do.

The UH-144 Falcon flew over the valley. The army issue VTOL was loaded with 3 soldiers, all of which sat in silence within the confines of the advanced helicopter as the craft slowly descended towards its target.

There was a bit of silence as the figures moved, all revealing MJOLNIR class armor…All Spartans, all soldiers of the UNSC army. All of which had been sent to NOBLE Team. One of them was Rosenda-A344. The other two? Thom-A293 and Gadge-B-054.

"So… A pair of IIIs and a 1.5. I also heard an IV might be joining soon. Noble has 9?" Rosenda questioned as Gadge shrugged.

"I don't know, Lieutenant, I just know they sent me from demo ops to get put on here. You?" Gadge questioned, raising an eyebrow as he did so. "I want to point out NOBLE has a lot of things we aren't supposed to know about… Weird army unit, but they're good… Why? You read our files?" Gadge questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Who didn't read your file, Gadge? They know all the crap about us they need to. NOBLE's more than some Spartan army unit, wouldn't have sent them 3 more IIIs after the last op if need be." He heard.

"Thom? You almost blew your damn head off messing with my gun, I don't want to hear crap about it when I'm the only damn reason you have a head." Gadge stated before he hummed. "So, your NOBLE Eight and he's Nine, guess that makes me lucky number 7… Why do they want all of us? I don't know. Colonel pulled a lot of strings to get us all together." Gadge stated to which Rose hummed.

"Holland pulled strings with all of us. Welcome to the club, Captain." Rose stated as he rolled his eyes under his helmet. "Nervous? You boys I know… He's a parachute, air assault tactics. Your demo blew a hole in a covenant cruiser and almost sheered the damn thing in half." Rose added to which Gadge hummed.

"It DID sheer in half. The damn thing was blown out of the sky." Gadge responded before he pointed a finger at her. "And I know you. Counter insurgent. Were supposed to replace NOBLE Five if he felt like blasting someone's head off with a shotgun, didn't he? Funny, I didn't end up seeing you on the roster until they gave the call." Gadge stated as he hummed, tilting his head to the side.

She laughed, questioning what to have done if anything before this was all over with at the end of the day. There was a lot more to focus on in the second. She hadn't yet seemed to understand the other Spartans were properly prepared.

Noble Team was one of the best units inside the UNSC Army. A special ops team that could handle work the regular units the same way the IIs ended up in the UNSC Navy. They were all handling a mission that could either be nothing or could be the end of the war.

It would have made them laugh if either of them knew what was going on. instead? All of them were left to ponder their thoughts.

"What's going to happen when we get down there? They aren't just going to back down the same way you expect them to." Gadge stated as they shrugged.

"We're handling it the same way training taught us." He heard as he rolled his eyes.

"We're still going it one way or another, all it changes is what happens next. It ain't like they're here." Thom stated as he pointed a finger at Gadge.

"Don't say that or you're jinked us. We're damn well in the thick of it. The last thing we need is Covies beating down Reach's front door." Gadge stated but stayed silent.

All of them knew what was going on. He knew more to question before he sighed, unsure of what to focus upon now. He sighed before he tilted his head. There was a focus before sighing as he did so. He sighed, unsure of their mission.

"We need to get ready," Rose said, dead serious. "Alright, let's move. We can get going, then we can talk." Rose stated before she sighed.

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that this story will take place over Halo Reach and CE at least. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show NOBLE Team handling their first mission and setting up the flow of the story. it will also be 900-6500 words and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!
