Hello! Welcome to another story! This scene is based on Sailor Moon episode 45.
And sorry for the people who are waiting. Let's get started!
Sailor Moon was hopeless, she was at the North pole, her arm was bleeding after the fight with her friends against Queen Beryl's powerful Youma- DD girls. Despite they were defeated, her friends sacrificed themselves to protect the princess, Usagi saw them die one after another by her own eyes.
She wanted to save the world, but how? Her friends were killed, even her best friend, Hino Rei , also known as Sailor Mars, Rei told her that she won't die and will help Usagi to fight against Queen Beryl, even they both hate each other. Whether comes to the fight against Youma, Usagi would always be the one to Save Rei and her friends, but at that moment when the Youma broke free of the ice, Usagi thought all things were lost, No…..She's still alive, but this was just a only a glimpse of victory, as the ice mountain broke, the Youma grab mars by the legs, Mars still used her attack- Mars soul to finish the Youma once and for all.
But, she also died by her injuries, Usagi wanted to let her feelings out, her eyes were in the verge of tears, she recalled what Ami had said to her she need to be strong, and told her not to cry.
"I must not cry, Ami-chan told me not to cry, I don't want to people to see me as a crybaby!" Sailor Moon said as she wiped her tears frantically. "What can I do? I just rather die with my friends. I really wanted to kill myself." Sailor Moon thought as she is heading towards the tip of the iceberg. However, Usagi didn't even wanted to do this." If I kill myself, my parents will be sad , even my brother, Shingo, despite I was teased by him all the time." She thought as she left the cliff, walking down. She tripped a step, her hands were full of scratches and cuts, but she continued to walk, despite her broken right arm.
At the other side of the North Pole, a flash of light appear, it landed on the Ice. The light faded, revealed a human, not really a human, his eyes were almond, with two small pupils.
He has a two stripes combing from his chest to his legs, full with red, and has three horns on his head, with a bracelet on his left hand, his chest was an armor plate with dots on it, his name is Ultraman Taro, the sixth Ultra brother from the land of light.
"This place…. So cold!" Taro said as he put his hands through his arms to keep himself warm.
He was patrolling to see if there is any danger in the North pole. And he saw a large dark castle by using his Ultra eye. "Strange, it's that Alien Temperor's lair? No…. Wait, Alien Temperor was defeated by us a long time ago, there's no way he can still revive. Plus, he doesn't live inside some Shabby, Cramped castle." Taro said.
Taro then continued to walk on the top of the Ice, as he raised his hands as a chop pose, just in case if there are some enemies approaching or sneaking behind the ice. He saw a yellow object from the distance. "Wait, why is that little girl walking with scratches and cuts, and wearing a Sailor uniform?" Taro thought as he was starting to apparoch her. "No wait, there's something wrong with her and, WHAT?" Taro gasped as he saw a large iceberg with someone stabbed.
"NIISAN!" Taro said as he rushed towards the iceberg, he thought it was his brother Ace being stabbed. But what Taro saw was not what he think. He saw four girls lying down, dead. " I assume that they are the Inner Senshi, which were also known as Makoto, Ami, Minako and Rei? Oh! King showed us the footage of their deaths, so this is the first time they died? I assume the girl was walking in bruises was Usagi."Taro said as he was observing their dead bodies. "Anyway, I need to help Usagi!" Taro said as he turned his head from the gruesome view of the deaths of the Inner Senshi.
Sailor Moon was tired from exhaustion after a long walk. "No….. I must not die…. No…" She was so desperate to keep her eyes open until she collapsed to the ice. Her eyes were closed, no longer can see the view in front of her eyes.
"Usagi….."
"Mamo-chan?"
"Usagi….."
"Mamo-chan?"
"Usagi!"
No, That voice…..
"Usagi!" Taro shook her body.
Usagi opened her eyes slowly and she saw Ultraman Taro wrapping her arms. ' Who are you? Why you need to save me?' Usagi said as she looked at the new savior. " Taro, Ultraman Taro." Taro said as he nod his head. "I'm here to support you, Usagi, Seems like you're crying for a long time."
"Taro San, stop this nonsense, I didn't cry, I'm just tired." Sailor Moon said as she forced a smile on her face.
Taro then frowned as he wrapped her tightly.
"Don't hide your feelings, Usagi, just cry!" Taro said.
"I must not cry… No!" Sailor Moon said with confidence, but her eyes starting to well up with tears.
"Cry please, Usagi. I don't want to see you holding this for a long time."
Sailor Moon cried first, but then she bawled loudly.
"My friends….. died…." Sailor Moon cried as her tears dripped on the ice.
"Usagi, You're not alone, I also have the same state as you before."Taro said as he is hugging her.
"No! I don't want to hear from you! You should have come earlier! You're stupid! If you came, my friends would've not died! Then I would be able to go with my friends!" She said as she is thumping Taro's chest angrily.
Taro holds his anger by listening to the hurtful and destructive words that came out of her mouth. He, himself had faced this situation before, one time he was fighting against king tortoise and queen tortoise, he killed Queen Tortoise mercilessly with his attack -Storium Ray. Until Queen Tortoise's mouth spit out the egg, it hatched the baby of King Tortoise and Queen Tortoise. The baby and the father were mourning of his wife's and mother's death respectively. He saw this heartbreaking scene, Taro tries to help the baby tortoise, but the baby bites him, thinking he was the killer who killed their family member.
Taro, at that time, was so ashamed of himself for killing a creature, who has a son and a husband to feed, he wanted to helped them.
" Why you need to kill Queen Tortoise?" A kid said with anger.
This sentence literally broke his heart. He, as a guardian of Land of light, killed an innocent creature, had made this fatal mistake. He still holds his anger for not losing control on rampaging the city.
But, this time he cannot hold his anger and slapped Usagi so hard with his hand.
SLAP!
Sailor Moon was so shocked to see Taro slapped her so hard, since she was slapped by her friend, Ami for a while, but this slap is much harder than the slap that ami took, She stuttered a few steps until she managed to maintain her balance. Taro knew he shouldn't slap a girl, but due to her being uncalm, this is the only way he could do, he has no choice.
Her face left a big red palm mark.
"Taro san…." She said as her tears reduced to sobs.
"WOULD YOU PLEASE STOP CALLING ME STUPID, I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF SOMEONE SAYING ME STUPID! WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN TO MY EXPERIENCE AND HEAR ME OUT!" Taro yelled.
"Taro san…..I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have called you stupid..." Moon then wraps her arms on Taro's waist, Taro took three deep breaths, calming himself. This is the first time he slapped a person when he was a ultra.
A few minutes later, the red ultra continued.
"Usagi, Let me tell you my experience. My brother sacrificed himself to save the earth against a kaiju." Taro narrated.
"Who is your brother?" Sailor Moon wondered.
"His name is Ultraman Zoffy, he sacrificed himself from fighting a bird kaiju. I was so sad. And Zoffy Niisan revived afterwards when me and my mother brought her back to the land of light and revived him. Also, Zoffy niisan told me about he and his brothers sacrificed themselves the second time."
" Zoffy san sacrificed himself for the second time?"
"Yes, and that time it's so desperate. My cousin Ace, he fight against an alien, who was so powerful, he turned him into a statue."
"So, why it's so desperate? Your brothers died also?" Sailor Moon said.
"Sadly yes, they turned to Statue one after another just like your friends have died….."Taro said with sadness.
"My friends….."
"But, it's not over yet. My father appeared and he first revived Ace."Taro said.
"Did he killed the alien?" Sailor Moon said, her voice was a bit hoarse.
"He didn't . And he saw Ace standing, dead, he pulled his color timer out of his chest, and at that time, Ace was revived, and he killed him easily with his metailium ray." Taro said.
"Your father…died?"She cried as her tears fall freely from her cheeks.
" Yes…. My brothers were sad and they lift his dead body and bring it back to the land of light. "Taro said.
"But! Taro san, I cannot do this by myself!" She cried more harder on his shoulder.
"Usagi, I know you can do it! Don't lose hope!" Taro said as he gripped her shoulders.
"Taro san, I'm afraid that I will die…. I don't want to fail my friends!" Sailor Moon bawls.
"Your friends are with you, despite they are gone, they are still in your heart!" Taro said.
" Come on, cheer up." Jupiter's ghost said.
" Be strong, Usagi." Mercury's ghost said.
" Don't give up hope." Venus's ghost said.
" We'll always be together." Mars's ghost said.
"See? Your friends were here with you, I'm also with you." Taro gestured and he smiled to the spirits of the Inner Senshi.
Sailor Moon's eyes then welled up with tears and she hugs Taro's waist tightly and bawls loudly.
"Ta…ro…TARO SAN!" She screamed with tears streaming down at her face, as her tears smeared to his chest.
"It's okay, I'm here, Usagi." Taro wraps his arms on Usagi's body , pat and rubbed her back to sooth her.
" Taro?" Mars's ghost said.
" He is one of the Ultra brothers from the Land of Light." Jupiter's ghost said.
" Yeah, I didn't notice Taro san has his own difficulties." Venus's ghost said.
" Now, let us hug Usagi and let her cry." Mercury's ghost said.
The inner senshi's ghosts also wrapped their arms and hug Usagi.
Sailor moon cried until she has no tears left. Taro, himself , has never seen a human cry, at that time, his memories flew from his head .When he was young, who never have any experience as a warrior as a Ultraman, also cried for failing himself to his father and mother's arms, and his father soothed him to cheer up and don't lose hope. Now , He soothed her by patting her back softly, he treated her like a daughter, just like his parents hugged him. Taro felt sympathetic and sad at the same time. He just wanted to comfort Sailor Moon and let her cry. Even the ghosts of the inner scouts, shed hidden tears and Taro hugged them also, failing their duty of their protecting heri. Their embraces to Sailor Moon, is like a fire that never dies down, the fire of friendship , the fire of Unity.
A few minutes later, Taro's eyes turned a bit watery. He noticed something glistening to his eyes, so he used his palm and stared it. The red ultra immedaitely recognised it was his tears. The tears that he had never shed since he was a child.
"Tears? I promised myself never cry, but why?"
Sailor Moon's sobs got even heavier and grab his waist more tighter.
The red ultra's tears also dropped bit by bit and it dropped on the senshi's back.
"Usagi chan...I...promise that... I...would...protect...you.." He said as he kneeled on the ground, as if he treats her, like the time when their parents care about himself in the past.
His tears starting to get heavier, but he didn't let out a sob. He hugged her around her back, his chin was on her shoulder.
The two cried together with no tears left. The only sound that was heard , was Sailor Moon sobs that echoed the whole North Pole.
After a while, Sailor Moon was asleep on Taro's lap. The red ultra had no idea that he had cried with a human for that long.
Taro stared at her sleeping, stroking her hair , and holds her right hand and places it to his cheek.
He had never seen how a heroine losing her companions can be that painful, now he knows.
"I will protect you, Usagi. Though i know you for only a few minutes." Taro said as he gripped her hand tightly.
After a while, Sailor Moon was awake and she saw Taro looking up the sky.
"Taro san, Where are you going?" The blonde said as she look at Taro.
"I'm about to leave, Earth is in danger."
" You think I will win?"
"Just trust yourself, I'm sure you will be fine."
"Yes! I will, I'm not alone, My friends are with me, even Taro san!"
"Usagi, Do you want me to come to your house and take a visit?"
"Yes, of course. You comforted me and let me give you a goodbye kiss before i will go along by myself." She attempted to kiss the red ultra, but he use a finger and press her lips.
"No. You have Mamo-chan."Taro said.
"Only I could say Mamo-chan!" Sailor Moon said.
"Because I heard you were murmuring Mamo-chan when I saw you unconscious."
"You're the one that gave me support when I'm alone, i would like to repay you, but why you can't accept me?"
"Mamo-chan is your boyfriend , you two are destined lovers. You promise him to be back to your side. I can only give you support, and this is your show, you still need to fight for peace."
"So you heard?!" She said with anger.
"Sorry about that, Usagi. I remember he is Tuxedo Mask. I wonder if I have a chance to meet him."
"Sure. You can, Taro san."She smiled.
"But save the conversations later, now your job is to save the world!"
"Yes!" Sailor Moon said with passion, holding her fist.
Taro turned his back , looking up the sky and raise his hands.
"What about my wounds?" Sailor Moon said.
"I forgot, sorry, let me heal you." Taro said as he raise his hands and emits a few sparkles, her wounds and bruises were gone in a second.
"Thanks, I feel much better now!"Usagi said with joy.
"I must go now, Usagi. Take care!"
"Bye, Taro san!"
"TARO!" Taro said as he jumped up and flies away.
" Thanks , Taro san, you make me know about your past and my friends are always be with me." Usagi thought, with a happy smile on her face, this is the first time she smiled when she is in despair. ' I have to go now. No time to lose!' Usagi then walks to the entrance of the Dark Kingdom, to face the final boss- Queen Beryl.
Whew! I almost spend a day to make this, and finally, I've finished. I may be busy during next week , but I will update as soon as I can. Stay tuned for more stories of Ultraman and Sailor Moon!
