Note: Hope your still liking this story! now just to givr you fair warning so parts of the rest of the story will be darker then others. I do have an end game planned. Morbius will make an appearance soon as well. This story will soon end as well.
The next day the students called into school sick. Cayleigh was out of her house and staying Jason for the time being.
"Jason Scott stop banging around in the kitchen". Cayleigh grumbled as she joined him.
"Well excuse me if i want to feed you. How are you feeling?" He asked her as she sat down.
She rubbed her bandaged stomach. "I'll live. Listen i have to run back to the house later to get more stuff".
"Not alone your not" He told her sternly handing her pancakes.
"The others are going to meet me there so don't worry". She answered as she ate her breakfast. "Any luck on why he took our gems?"
"No, Hayley has been trying to track them but nothing. Ryan will be back tonight so he is gone to Mariner Bay to get his morpher". Jason told her with a pout. "I wish i could have mine".
She giggled at the look on his face. "Don't worry big boy it will be okay, I will be back in an hour". She dtreaked out of the house.
"Your suppose to clean your plate". He yelled into air. "She will never learn".
Tommy's House.
Conner, Kira and Ethan walked towards the house in silence. The went through the hidden entrance. "Hayley?" Kira called. "No ones here".
"Don't jinx it Kira". Ethan spoke.
"You should listen to him". A voice spoke from the steps. "He was always the smart one". Tommy spoke causally as a herd of drones appeared.
"Dr.O what are you doing?" Conner demanded stepping forward. Tommy nodded over Conner's shoulders. They turned to see Elsa and Zeltrax. Both flung their arms sending three darts into the young rangers. Tommy watched as they collapsed to the floor of the lab. "Bring them to the ship and secure them Mesogog will be pleased there is just one more to get".
The drones pulled them through a portal and Zeltrax's ship. " destroy this place". Elsa told him with a evil grin. Tommy's eyes flashed as he sent beams towards the consoles causing them to explode and spark. He laughed evily as the power went off and the room was filled with smoke.
He sensed a presence upstairs. "She's here".
Cayleigh entered the house slowly. "Guys you here?" She called. She quickly walked to her room and grabbed the rest of her things. She turned to leaved but a hand grabbed her foot from under her bed pulling her down. She yelled out as she landed hard on her injured stomach. "Elsa get out your breaking and entering!".
Cayleigh brought her leg up and kicked a drone off of her. Zeltrax grabbed her by the shirt and body slammed her. "Not so touch without your powers are you".
She sent an ice dagger towards him knocking him onto her bed. She reached for her door but came face to face with her brother. He walked in causing her to walk back. "Tommy please don't. You can fight the evil let us help you".
Zeltrax quickly grabbed her twisting her arms behind her as two drones grabbed her legs. She glared into the evil green eyes in front of her.
"Tommy please, its me, its Cayleigh i know your in there. Please fight it. If you can hear me i promise i will get you back and i forgive you for what your doing".
"I can't, CJ help me, destroy it".
Tommy staggered grabbing his head causing Cayleigh to grin as she tried pulling free. "I know your in there".
"Be quiet". Tommy hissed. "Take her and Zeltrax seperate her from the others". Tommy followed through the portal behind them.
Ryan pulled up a few minutes later and Jason telling him the rangers went to the house. He walked in. "Cay? Conner? Guys?"
No answer. "Anyone?". He looked down the hall as he heard a noise. "Hello?". Ryan followed the noise to Tommy's room. "Cayleigh?".
Thump!
Ryan turned to the closed closet. He threw the door opened and found Hayley barely consious with her hands and legs tied and her mouth gagged. "Hayley!". He freed her. "Hayley?". He tapped her cheeks.
Hayley groaned and opened her eyes. "Ryan?"
"Hey its me, let me help you". He helped her out of the room and helped her to the couch. He handed her a glass of water. "Hey what happened?"
"I was in the lab. Tommy he grabbed me from out of no where and put something into my neck. Next thing i know i am coming to in his closet". She told him. "Before you found me i felt the house shake. The lab!"
Ryan helped her to the entrance of the lab and smoke flew out of the opening. Ryan motioned for her to stay as he walked down the steps. "Oh no".
Hayley covered her mouth at the sight in front of her. "Its gone". Rubble was everywhere. Wires sticking out. Ryan called Jason.
"I don't believe this". Jason stammered as he arrived shortly after. "Wait Hayley the others, were they here?"
"I don't know i was knocked out until Ryan found me". She answered him. They jumped as Naya appeared. She growled as she was holding a white tiger bear in her mouth. "Good girl. Theres a hidden camera in it".
As Hayley got enough power to play it they all got scared as it showed the four dino rangers getting taken. "Look i will try my best to see if i can track them".
Naya grabbed Jason's hand in her mouth. "What is it girl?". Naya did the same with Ryan.
"No way". Hayley spoke. "I have only ever seen her do this with Tommy".
"What does she want?"
"She wants to link with you".
"Link?" Ryan asked confused looking at the huse animal in front of him.
Hayley smiled walking over to him. "You know how Naya and Cayleigh are linked through Moya. Naya knows now how much you and Jason care for Cayleigh and she knows that Cay feels the same with with you two. Naya must have seen or heard something and she wants to show you".
The two men shared a glance but placed a hand each on the lion's head. Naya growled as her eyes glowed. Both men stumbled back after a few seconds.
"Tommy has them". Ryan managed. "On a ship".
"Thank you girl". Jason praised the animal.
"Zeltrax's ship.". Hayley told them.
"We need to find it. Hayley let us help you fix some of this and find that ship". Ryan told her firmly looking at the morpher on his wrist.
"Naya how about a boost?" Hayley asked the lion. Naya shot a bolt of lightning from her eyes boosting the power. "Thank you". Naya yawned and laid down.
"I just need some air i will be right back". Ryan told them walking out. Hayley and Jason shared a look.
Ryan walked outside and say down in a swing. He let the air brush against his face. He never looked when Hayley took the swing next to him.
"You know i never asked you how you and Cayleigh met?" She asked quietly.
Ryan blew out a breath. "I am not sure how much of my story you know".
"I know some from when Tommy did the video diary".
Ryan looked at her. "Four years ago when i was evil i attacked her. I didn't know who she was at the time until later. if it wasn't for Dana i might have really hurt her"
FlashBack...Mariner Bay Year 2000
13 Year old Cayleigh was riding her bike to the soccer field to attend her game against the competing team.
"Cayleigh come on!" Her teammate Angie yelled slightly ahead of her.
"I'm coming!" Caylegih shouted when a guy in a silver ranger suit blocked her way. "Who are you?"
"Get out of my way kid". He growled blasting her off of her bike causing her to skin her knees. Ryan raised his axe.
"Please don't, you don't have to do this". Cayleigh cried. "Rangers are meant to be good people".
The blast came but the pink lightspeed ranger blocked it. "Carter get her out of here she needs help".
Cayleigh felt herself being picked up by the red ranger but as he carried her away her eyes stayed on the rangers attacking. Carter powered down and laid her on the hood of the rescue rover.
"Are you okay?" He asked her. "What's your name?"
"C-Cayleigh Oliver" She whispered. "Who was that?"
Carter grabbed the first aid kit as Dana joined him. "Hey its okay, let me help" Dana told her with a smile. "Cayleigh is it?"
"Yeah, who is that ranger?" Cayleigh asked her.
"My brother". Dana answered the girl. Dana watched as the young girl touched her hand.
"I have a brother to and i have seen him evil to. You will help him". Cayleigh told the older woman as Dana bandaged her knees. "I don't know if you know who Tommy Oliver is but i am his sister. Thank you for helping me" Cayleigh hopped off the rover and went to her bike.
"Dana".
"Yeah?"
"I don't know what he's going through or what happened to him but i can tell you that his heart and mind are confused but most of all he is scared to trust anyone. You and your famiy will have to be the light to guide him back". Cayleigh told her with a smile before she paddled away.
Present Day...
"That day i remembered my past and Dana told me about her so a week later i finally got to meet her".
Mariner Bay Year 2000...
Ryan Mitchell walked to the soccer field after finding out Cayleigh was there finishing her tournament. He smiled as he leaned against the wired fence. He watched the kids laugh and scream happily as they won. He spotted number 12. He opened the gate as the team wne their seperate ways with their parents.
He walked up to her slowly. "Hi, are you Cayleigh?"
She looked up. "Yeah i am, can i help you with something?"
"I, uh, you may not know me but i am the titanium ranger. I was the one who attacked you and i just wanted to say i'm sorry". He told her looking down. "I'm Ryan".
"I knew you would find your way back. I've been through it with my own brother before." She told him sitting next to him on the bench. "Your afraid aren't you? your afraid that everytime you morph your going to hurt someone"
"How did you know?" He asked looking at her face.
She took his hand in hers. "Because my brother went through it twice, the first time i don't remember but the second time i was older and i remember being terrified when he was freed from the evil that if he morphed he would fail his friends but he never did and you won't either. Ryan think of this as your second chance, your heart is telling you that its now pure with nothing but love surrounding you".
Cayleigh grabbed her bag. "Ryan follow your heart and it will guide you through your battle and don't be afraid to lean on your team. Whatever weight or fear you have it will go away"
"Thank you" Ryan told her as she gave him a hug.
"Anytime if you ever need to talk call me i tend to be a good listener and good luck with Diabolico". She told him with a smile as she walked off the feild.
Present Day...
"After that day i never knew how true what she said was. I saw her when i could. When she would come to Mariner Bay she would always come see us. I never got to see Dana grow up but somehow Cayleigh filled that void. Hayley i don't know where i would be without her". Ryan told her as he finished his story.
"Wow". Hayley whispered. "And you won't have to we will find her i promise. We will find them all."
"Hayley your system is making a noise". Jason spoke from the door. Hayley and Ryan joined him.
"Thanks to Naya's boost i found the ship. Its just north of here". Hayley told them with a smile. "Look you two please be careful and come back in one piece".
Both men nodded and ran out of the lab to bring their family home.
