On an unknown planet two hooded figures figures walked up to an abandon Temple. The both took off their hoods and revealed to Ahsoka Archer and her son Hunter.
"You sure this is where it is?" Hunter asked.
"Yes, this is where Morgan said it would be" Ahsoka said. "Keep an eye out"
She then took out her sabers and carved a hole in the ground and fell through.
"That map better be here" Hunter said to himself "It's our only clue to finding Ezra"
"Hunter" His mother called to him "I got it"
Just then Hunter heard a clank and saw one of Morgan's assassin droids.
"Hey mom get dinner ready we have company" Hunter joked but Ahsoka knew what he meant as she jumped out of the hole she made and saw the droid approach them.
"Come no closer" Ahsoka said igniting her saber while Hunter ignited one of his frost colored blades.
"The map. Give it to us" The droid said.
"Us?" Hunter asked.
Just then more droids appeared surrounding the two force weilders. One by one they activated their electro staffs while Ahsoka ignited her shoto blade and Hunter ignited his second blade.
"Seems like were outnumbered" Hunter said pretending to be scared "Whatever shall we do?"
Just then the mother and son fell back into the hole Ahsoka made and then carved a few new holes under the some of the droid causing them to fall in.
Ahsoka and Hunter jumped out of the same hole they fell in. Ahsoka fought off the red droid while Hunter fought the other.
Hunter continued fighting off the droid until he eventually sliced it down the middle and both halves fell to the ground while his mother chopped off the red one's head. However the other droids climbed out of the holes.
"Initiate self-destruct protocol" The red droid head said.
"And that's out que to leave" Hunter said as he and his mother started running.
"Huyang, where are you?" Ahsoka asked through her comlink.
"I am above your position...now" Huyang said as Hunter and Ahsoka saw their ship flying above them "I shall set down"
"No you won't you old clanker keep going!" Hunter said.
"I don't understand" Huyang said.
Just them a massive explosion came frome the ruins and kept spreading towards them.
"What would you rather I did?" Huyang asked.
"Just keep flying and lower the ramp!" Ahsoka said.
Huyang then lowered the ramp to the ship.
"Ladies first!" Hunter as his mother jump onto the ramp and he followed just in the nick of time.
The mother and son entered the cockpit where Huyang was waiting for them.
"Cutting it a little close there huh Huyang?" Hunter asked.
"Good thing I arrived when I did" The old droid replied.
"About that, where were you?" Ahsoka asked.
"I was keeping the ship at a safe distance" Huyang replied.
"If you didn't keep at such a safe distance maybe we wouldn't have lost communication" Ahsoka said.
"I am just following standard Jedi mission protocol" Huyang said.
"Huyang the order doesn't exist anymore" Hunter said.
"Nonetheless I have my programming" Huyang said.
"Remind me to update your programming one of these days" Hunter said sitting down in the seat behind Huyang.
"Next time stay close" Ahsoka said sitting down as she took out a gold sphere "I found it"
"The map?" Huyang asked.
"Right where Morgan said it would be" Ahsoka replied.
"How did you get her to tell you the truth?" Huyang asked.
"Unlike you Huyang, my mom doesn't need to follow Standard Jedi Protocol" Hunter as Ahsoka gave him the map and looked at it. "You really think this will help us find Thrawn?"
"I hope so honey" Ahsoka said.
Just then a voice came over the control comms
"Fulcrum, this is Home One, do you copy?"
"Home one this is General Archer speaking for Fulcrum over" Hunter replied.
"Copy, incoming transmission, Priority One, there's been an incident"
Later, Hunter, Ahsoka and Huyang came out of Hyperspace and saw the Home One command ship next to a New Republic prison transport ship.
"Come in Home One, this is T-6 One-Nine-Seven-Four on approach over" Ahsoka said.
"Copy that, T-6 you are clear to approach, hanger two-nine over"
"Affirmative. T-6 out" Ahsoka said.
As they got closer the three saw that the Cockpit to the Transport ship was severely damaged.
They landed the Ship in the hanger bay and were approached by a green female Twi'lek wearing a brown vest and General patch.
"Hera" Hunter with a smile as the two embraced with a friendly hug.
"It's good to see Hunter" Hera said "It's been a while"
"Too long old friend" Hunter said as Ahsoka approached.
"General Syndulla, it's good to see you" She greeted.
"And you" Hera said as they walked together "Though I wish it was under better circumstances. I'm afraid we've lost your prisoner. I've prepared a breifing to get you caught up"
"Just like old times" Hunter said.
"Unfortunately" Hera said
Later in the Command Center Hera showed Hunter and Ahsoka two holo graphic images of the attackers. One was a female probably around Hunter's age with short white hair and weilding an orange bladed lightsaber. The other was and Man probably in his late 50's with a short grey beard wearing a hood.
"They took out an entire security detail and scuttled one of our new starships" Hera said "Who are they?"
"I don't know" Ahsoka said circling the holoprojector.
"They seem to have abilities like you two" Hera said.
"Well, they're definitely not Sith or Inquisitors. This one has an orange blade" Hunter pointing to the female's blade. "From my past experiences Sith and Inquisitors have red blades. Other than me, mom, Luke and this foundling named Grogu we met a while back I don't anyone else who can weild the Force"
"Perhaps one of them was a Jedi" Huyang suggested.
"Possibly" Ahsoka said "Huyang make a copy of this recording and run a match on their sabers"
"What's their connection to Morgan Elsbeth?" Hera asked.
"I've known her to hire mercenaries in the past" Ahsoka said.
"Well the investment paid off" Hera said "They vanished without a trace"
"The day isn't a total loss" Ahsoka said showing Hera the map.
"A star map?" Hera said.
"Not just any star map" Ahsoka said "We believe this one holds the secret Morgan's been after"
"Which is?" Hera asked.
"The loclocation of the last missing Imperial Grand Admrial" Hunter said approaching the two women "Thrawn"
Hera looked in shock as she heard Thrawns name. She started having flashbacks to all the battles she and the Ghost Crew had with him.
"That's not possible" She said "Thrawn died at the Battle of Lothal"
"His death was never confirmed" Ahsoka said "I started hearing whispers of his return which led us to Morgan. She was a great ally during Thrawn's Imperial rule. She knows something. And the secret is in that map"
"If Thrawn survived, does that mean Ezra..." Her said which a tiny bit of hope in her voice.
"We can't be sure Hera" Hunter said placing a comforting hand on her shoulder "But I really hope so"
"Ok, let's take a look at this map" Hera said.
"We cannot show you the map" Huyang said "The device is locked and the key to activating it has eluded me"
"It's never a straight line with you Jedi is it?" Hera asked.
"You should know that by now Hera" Hunter said smirking"
"You know who can help you two with this?" Hera asked.
"I do..." Hunter said "But I don't think she'll want to help us"
"She's your wife Hunter, I'm sure she will" Hera said handing him the map "For Ezra"
"For Ezra" Hunter said.
On their way two Lothal Hunter was sitting in the dining room with the map in one hand and a handheld holoprojector in the other. He placed the projector on the table and turned it on which revealed a hologram of Ezra.
"Hey Hunter, I'm sorry to leave you like this even when you asked me to be the best man at your wedding which Im honored by the way, but as a jedi you should know when you have to make the tough choices. That's what I had to do to defeat Thrawn. Anyway I know we're not related by blood, but you've always been like a big brother to me and I love you like one. I hope you and Sabine have a great future together. I'll miss you big brother. May The Force Be With You"
After the recording ended Hunter took a moment took look at the map.
"I'm hoping to see you soon little brother" Hunter said to himself.
After the arrived on Lothal Hunter, Ahsoka and Huyang were greeted by Governor Ryder Izadi. Just then a woman in her late 20's with long purple and orange hair wearing an orange jumpsuit and brown vest approached the group this was Sabine Archer, Hunter's wife and Ahsoka's daughter-in-law Ryder left them alone while Huyang went on the ship.
"It's been a while" Sabine said crossing her arms.
"We know it has" Hunter said to his wife "But we need your help Sabine"
"Dad!" a voice called from the distance. The three adults saw a boy about 6 years old wearing a blue shirt and orange pants running up to them. This was Axel Archer. Sabine and Hunter's son.
"Axel!" Hunter smiled and picked his son and hugged him "Man you are getting heavy"
"Mom says I'm a big boy now" Axel said.
"Yes you are" Hunter said "Look who else is here"
"Hi Grandma" Axel said.
"Hi sweetheart" Ahsoka greeted as she planted a kiss on her grandson's cheek.
"So, you said you needed my help?" Sabine asked.
The other's looked at her and then Ahsoka showed her the map.
"I think we k ow how to find Ezra" She said
