"Inferno"
The trio continued arrived at the Gates they arrived "You know, love, you're probably the only person on the planet who says "go to hell" and means "take me there.'" Loki said.
"I suppose you're right." Bayonetta said.
"I think I've done my job here. Time for me to hit the road, love. Things to do and all." Loki plans to leave.
"The world is dark and full of terrors, you know. No place to be alone." Bayonetta said.
"What are you on about, love? You should be happy I helped you this long. Now I have to get to Fimbulventr-" Loki was cut off.
"No! You will stay right here!" Bayonetta said.
"I-I can't focus on what I need to do here if I have to worry about you off on own... Come now, little one. I'll take you to Fimbulventr after we finish my business." Bayonetta said.
"Yeah, great plan, love." Loki said.
"You can't be on you own, so let's go into the depths of hell." Loki mocked.
"Go save your friend. I'm outta here." Loki said.
"We save Jeanne first than take you to the mountain!" Phantom said.
Phantom used a grapple gun and pulled Loki in "You're going to help us get Jeanne first." Phantom said.
"Alright, mates." Loki said.
Loki opened the Gates and they walked right in but unaware the Lumen Sage was following them into the Gates. Upon entering the Gates everyone was spilt up Bayonetta saw a tornado of veins. She saw Jeanne's watch and saw she was almost out of time. Phantom found himself in a nest belong to Phantasmaraneae "Holy crap!" Phantom reacted as the baby fiery spiders attempted to eat him.
Phantom began shooting at them but he was saved by Bayonetta. "Looks like you've made some new friends." Bayonetta said.
"Not really best friends but I hate spiders." Phantom said.
The two continued and they meet a familiar face. "Why if it ain't Bayonetta and Phantom." Rodin said.
"Fancy findin' you two in a place like this." Rodin said.
"Rodin!?" Bayonetta and Phantom asked.
"Don't tell me you came here to rescue me like some kind of knight in shining armor." Bayonetta joked.
"Rescue? Do I look like the rescuin' type?" Rodin asked.
"If you were to kick the bucket here, I'd be all over you soul like a hungry hyena." Rodin said.
"That's a little creepy dude." Phantom said.
They found a palace for where Jeanne's soul was. Bayonetta and Phantom entered the palace of Inferno and a demon spoke "What!? Humans!? What bring two humans of flesh and blood to this place?" the demon asked.
"We came to pick up a friend. It's almost her curfew." Bayonetta said.
"A friend? Ah, the witch. Alas, she has been devoured." the demon said.
"Such a exquisite soul. And so fresh. Such a delicacy." the demon said.
"That's very creepy to say out loud." Phantom said.
"Be gone, humans. Your trespass, namely damaging my palace, shall be overlooked if you two remove yourselves from this place immediately." the demon warned them
"Too bad there is no escape from Inferno." she said.
The two responded with shooting up the place. They battle the demoness Alraune who transformed into a monstrous version of herself. After a insane battle they grabbed Jeanne's soul. Jeanne wouldn't wake up Bayonetta prepared to kill Alraune but was stopped by Rodin "Damn, woman, I thought I told you to chill." Rodin said.
"You wouldn't be chill after all this demon put us through." Phantom said.
"You got more important shit to do than dealin' with this monstrosity." Rodin said.
Bayonetta placed Jeanne's watch on her chest "Jeanne, get up. You're going to be late." Bayonetta tried waking her friend up but nothing happened.
"Jeanne! It's time! Get up!" Bayonetta tried again.
Phantom put his hands on his head and began to cry worried for his friend "Please, Jeanne! Wake up!" Bayonetta feared she was too late to save her best friend.
A bright light appeared from Jeanne and she moaned "Jeanne!" Bayonetta said.
"Cereza?" Jeanne asked.
Phantom wiped his tears "What do you need, a wake-up kiss or something?" Bayonetta asked.
"I be down to see that." Phantom said.
"You never were much of a morning person, were you?" Bayonetta teased.
Jeanne looked around "This... But this is..." Jeanne said.
She soon realized where they were "Cereza, you came here t... to rescue me? Are you insane?" Jeanne asked.
"You took the words right out of my mouth." Bayonetta said.
"We leave no witch behind." Phantom said.
Bayonetta was glad to see Phantom was back to his old self. She gave her hand to Jeanne "Let's go." she said.
Jeanne grabs her hand and is pulled up sparkles begin appear from Jeanne "What's happening?" Jeanne asked.
"You need to get back to your body. And get some rest, too." Bayonetta said.
Jeanne began floating back to the human world "Be careful, Cereza. Something... Something big is going to happen to our world." Jeanne warned Cereza.
"We know. Just go home. And no stopping or turning around along the way!" Bayonetta said.
Rodin transformed Alraune into a new weapon Alruna. Bayonetta saw Balder and Loki were fighting each other. With no time to lose Bayonetta summoned a demon and she and Phantom raced to save Loki.
They found Loki and saved him from the enraged Masked Lumen "Your impudence will cost you your life, witch." Balder said.
"So you're saying diplomacy has failed then?" Bayonetta asked.
Balder's mask broke revealing his face "Surrender, or it will be more than your mask that you lose." Bayonetta threatened as she still remembers her timeline Balder.
"Umbra Witch... Or shall I call you Bayonetta?" Balder asked.
"That seems to be what people call me these days." Bayonetta said.
"Very well then, Bayonetta... You shall be the first Umbra Witch to die at my hands!" The Masked Lumen Sage said.
"I swear it on my honor as a Lumen Sage!" The Lumen Sage said. said.
The two clashed Phantom never met Balder because Bayonetta had never bothered telling him. This fight Lumen Sage fighting style reminded Bayonetta of the last time she fought her father. Balder used all of his powers to create a powerful strike which Bayonetta blocks. "He will not be forgiven! He will never be forgiven!" he said said.
"On my soul as a Lumen, he will draw his last breath before me!" the Lumen Sage said.
Loki appeared and he screamed in pain as he unleashed an energy wave taking Bayonetta, Phantom, and Balder.
