Bowser returns and sees his daughter and Danny going over some schoolwork. He smiles, glad they are becoming closer. He only wished that Mario didn't break her heart. He was delighted they talked, but she was still in pain. It seems that Danny has helped lighten some of that pain, but he knew she'll fully recover once they start dating. He heard his phone ring and quickly left the room.

Danny groans as he sets his math homework down.

"I still don't get this!" He said, making Bowsette look at him.

She looked at the paper and saw what he was doing wrong.

"You're reading it wrong." She said and started to point out the question.

Danny listened and saw what she was saying. He read the next question and saw the answer. Bowsette gives him some more pointers and the two have no idea they move closer together. They finished their schoolwork and sighed. It was then they finally noticed how close they were to each other. They both blushed and Bowsette felt her heart skip a beat.

'Could this be my chance?' She thought, trying to stay calm.

"Do you want me to move?" Danny asked, still blushing.

"No. It's fine." She said, still blushing.

Bowsette was really trying to stay calm. She really, really, REALLY, hope this wasn't a dream. They were so close and she wanted to kiss him! She wanted him so badly and was fighting with every part of herself to not give in.

"Bowsette? Are you okay? You're sweating." Danny asked.

Bowsette blinked and felt her head. She was sweating. Danny grabs some tissues and hands them to her. She quickly wipes her forehead, trying her hardest not to touch his hand.

'Lord, help me! Send someone before I do something stupid!' She thought as her face turned red.

"So, kids. How's everything?" Her father said, unknowingly answering her payer.

"Everything fine, Bowser. Bowsette helped me with my Math Homework." Danny said, allowing Bowsette to calm down.

"I see." He smirks, seeing how close they are.

"Is there something you need, Poppa?" Bowsette asked, not wanting to move.

"Just to inform you that I'm needed at DARK LAND INC. It seems someone had misplaced a very important item and no one can find it." He said, frowning a little.

"Important item?" Danny asked.

"It's something from my late wife. It means a lot to me." Bowser said, making Bowsette frown.

Danny could tell this was still touchy for them and decided not to ask anymore.

"Well, good luck finding it," Danny said, making Bowser nod.

"Bowsette? Can I trust you to make sure Daniel gets home?" He asked her.

Bowsette looked surprised. He was going to let her walk Danny home? Should that be the other way around?!

"Y-yeah." She said, not looking at either of their faces.

Danny looked worried as Bowser smiled a bit. He'd seen her act like this before. Back when she was trying to win Mario's heart. He walks up and pats her head. She looked up and saw him smile. Bowsette knew that smile. It was her father's way of telling her he was behind her every step of the way. Taking a breath, she nodded and Bowser nodded back.

"Daniel? Can I trust you to watch over my daughter, while I'm gone?" He asked him.

"Sure," Danny said, blushing.

Bowser nods and soon leaves. He knew Bowsette was having a hard time keeping herself together. He knew that she was very close to losing control and gave her that smile to help her calm down. He did hope that they would start dating soon. He didn't want Bowsette to go through another heartbreak.

Later,

After her father left, Bowsette was thinking about what to do next. Neither she nor Danny could move away from enough other. It was like they were stuck together. She wanted to hold his hand and tell him how she felt about him. But she wasn't sure if she should.

"Do...you...want...to...hold...hands?" Bowsette asked, blushing.

Danny looks at her before blushing.

"Sure..." He said, holding out his hand.

Bowsette placed her hand in his, and Danny closed his around hers. Bowsette felt a shiver travel up her spine and tried her best not to kiss him right there.

'He's holding my hand! I never got that far with Mario before!' She thought, trying not to breathe heavily.

'I don't think I even held a girl's hand that wasn't my mom or Jazz.' Danny thought, blushing.

The two walked to the front gates, Bowsette was going to take Danny home. She knew her father told her to take him home, so asking if he could spend the night was out of the question...this time.

The gates opened and both of them stepped out. Once they closed, they saw someone running up to them.

"Sam?" Danny asked, seeing his goth friend stop in front of them.

"What are you doing?!" She asked.

"Taking him home." Bowsette growls.

Her father had texted her about Sam and Tucker when they were still doing their homework. She knew why Sam was here and she refused to let her get her way. Sam glares and notices they are holding hands.

"Why are you holding hands?" She asked.

"Bowsette asked me to," Danny said, wondering why she was here.

Sam growls, she reaches over and pulls their hands apart. Bowsette growls and grabs his hand again. She looked ready to do it again, but Boswette stopped her.

The two girls glared at each other, leaving Danny confused. He sighs before stepping up.

"Sam, why are you here?" He asked.

"I came to find you. You just up and left after school." Sam said, marking Bowsette roll her eyes.

"Poppa invited him to our home. You heard him in your class." She said, knowing Sam still saw her as a spoiled brat.

Sam glares, not wanting to back down.

"Let go of him." Sam growls.

"That's his choice," Bowsette told her.

"Girls, please!" Danny spoke up, wanting to stop them before a fight broke out.

Bowsette sighs, knowing she was just wasting time.

"Come on, Danny. I told Poppa that I'll take you home." She said, walking past Sam.

Danny was pulled a little but quickly matched her pace. Sam growls, almost ready to rush after them before her phone beeps. She looked and saw it was from her parents. Sighing, Sam turns and leaves. But not before both girls send a back-eye glare at each other.

Later,

Bowsette calms down during the walk and enjoys the feeling of Danny holding her hand. She wanted to do more, but she needed to stay in control. She doesn't want to scare off her second chance of having love.

"I'm sorry about Sam," Danny said, sighing.

"It's fine. You have nothing to blame for," Bowsette said.

"It's just that Sam gets like this when a new person joins us. It takes her a while to warm up to them." Danny said, shaking his head.

'More like she doesn't want to.' Bowsette thought, knowing what Sam was really doing.

"Still, why did she pull our hands apart?" Danny asked, confused.

'He's so clueless.' Bowsette thought, shaking her head.

"I have seen it before." She said, making Danny look at her.

"A friend that a girl spends her life around a single boy and refuses to let other girls get near him. Sam is acting like one of the girls. She refuses to let another girl get close because she's scared of losing you." Bowsette said, shaking her head.

"Why would she be scared of losing me?" Danny asked.

Bowsette shook her head. If this keeps up, she might as well spell it out for him.

"Danny, what are your feelings towards Sam?" She asked.

"Well, Sam's a good friend. She's been by my side since we met. I know I can count on her for anything." Danny said, making Bowsette sigh.

"And what about me?" She asked.

"Well, once I got to know the real you, I saw someone who was lonely and needed a friend. You might have grown in a rich kind of life, but clearly had no friends. I can't say how I truly feel about you, but I can say that I'm glad to be your friend." Danny said, surprising her.

"Me too," Bowsette said, smiling.

'How I wish we could be more than friends. But I need to work my way up to earn his love.' She thought.

They soon reached Fenton Works and Bowsette sighed. She let go of Danny's hand as she stood in front of her.

"We're still hanging out later, right?" Danny asked.

"Yes. And if you could? Keep Sam out of it? I can tell she was trying to pick a fight with me." Bowsette said then asked.

"I'll try. She is stubborn." Danny said, sighing.

Bowsette nods, knowing how stubborn Sam is.

"Tell your Dad I said thanks for the meal," Danny said, rubbing the back of his head.

"I will." She said, blushing a little.

"Well, see you tomorrow," Danny said, turning away.

"Danny! Wait." Bowsette said, stopping him.

He turns back around and Bowsette takes a breath. She walked up and kissed his cheek, surprising him.

Bowsette blushed before bowing to him. She then turns and walks away.

"Why did I do that?! Why did I do that?! Why did I do that?! Why did I do that?!" She said to herself.

Dany just stood there, touching his cheek. Did Bowsette kiss him?

And here's a chapter for Bowsette's Crush. A little more time together before Bowsette took Danny back home. Not before Sam chose to return and tried to stop them. Danny was able to stop them from fighting this time, but you all know Sam. She will try again and Danny might not be able to stop her. Bowsette had made some moves on Danny and even heard his thoughts about both Sam and herself. She still wants to be Danny's girlfriend, but she still making sure that she takes her time.

And Bowsette kisses Danny! Well, it was on the cheek, but a kiss is a kiss, right? I'll try to update Chompette, The Dog-Girl at some point as well. For now, I hope you guys/girls enjoy this chapter.
