Hey, hey!

I'm back. It happens every time I start to post my completed story. Another story hits me and I start writing it. I started, and was thinking to myself, I gotta do something other than dark and angst. I want to try a full on mushy romance story. Something about 20 chapters. So, I did. I can't wait to share that with you all.

In the mean time! This chapter right here...I'll do some warnings:

*Dark chapter* *Alcohol Abuse* *Mental Abuse*

Just so you all know. You've been warned. It may be a tear jerker for some.

'Memories'

'Intense talking'

"Neji…Neji please wake up."

Neji was unmoving as Hinata poked him in his sore arm. "You don't have to poke me to wake me up. Plus I am already awake. Who could sleep after all we've been through."

Neji slowly started to sit up from his bed. He looked at the clock on his wall and saw that it was four in the morning. "Well. If we're going to do anything. We have to do it now. The servers will be up soon to start their morning duties." He shirtless, with only brown pajama pants on. So he walked over to his dresser and threw on a white shirt. He turned around to see Hinata in a white plain t-shirt and black pajama pants.

She had a kunai in her hand. "So. We do this Hinata and we get caught by someone in the main house. It's your head, you know that right?" Hinata just nodded her head and quietly opened the door to Neji's room. Before she walked out, Neji pulled her by the arm towards him.

"I brought you back too soon. Didn't I?" Neji looked at Hinata because he smelled her very minty breath and automatically knew that meant she had been drinking. He's dealt with Hinata plenty of times in the past to know that.

Hinata tilted her head as she looked at Neji. "Yes you did, but if I wanted to do the right thing I would have went with my sensei. This isn't your fault. It's mine. I'm broken Neji. I…need a lot more help than I thought. Tomorrow I will request for aid from Lady Tsunade, because this is ruining me."

Neji let out a heavy sigh and let go of Hinata. So Kakashi was right all along. Hinata used this house as a way to fuel her addiction. She hated it here, and honestly he didn't blame her. He hated it here too. The people that hurt them walked these halls daily like they've done nothing to them. Like they didn't take their innocence. Turn them against one another and one in particular violated their trust.

Neji would never forgive their family. Or Konoha for ruining their lives.

The two quietly moved around the Hyuga's compound, navigating through several rooms and doors before they made it to her father's study.

Hinata had her Byakugan activated and sighed in relief that the door was unlocked and held no mischief to it. She opened the door, thus her and Neji slid inside undetected.

Hinata quietly shut the door how it was previously, while Neji looked around the study. He's actually never been in Hiashi's study. It was on the side of the home that only certain people of the main branch were allowed to roam. He silently looked at Hinata when she walked by him and to the mountain of books on the wall.

In particular she zeroed in on a green book and pulled on it. Making the bookshelf rumble and start to slide open to become a hidden locked door. Neji raised his eyebrow from seeing this. What the hell was this? Some secret spy movie.

The door was locked and Hinata backed away from him. She took a cloth and it was already wet and red. "One of the servers made a mistake and cut themselves when they dropped a dish from seeing me and you come home earlier. I helped her later to clean her cut and made sure I got enough on this cloth to put on the lock. This locking pad only opens with the blood of a main branch Hyuga. Only a select few Hyuga's have this access. My father, my mother and their children are the select few that were granted access. If we share the same father and mother, this will tell us."

Neji looked at Hinata before watching her ring the cloth over the pad. He watched the blood land on the pad and saw how it glowed red. Hinata turned on the door knob and saw that it did not open.

She then took her own hand and cut it with the kunai. Just a little. She placed the dripping red blood droplets over the pad and watched how it glowed green. Neji watched Hinata turn the door knob and how it opened.

Hinata then looked at Neji. She gave him a nervous smile, "Okay. Your turn." She shut the door and made sure it was reset again and handed the kunai to Neji.

He took a deep breath and made a small cut on his hand and slowly held it over the pad. Neji and Hinata watched the blood drip on the pad for a moment.

The pad turned green and they heard the door click open. The two turned and looked at one another and could practically hear one another hearts beat out their chest.

Hinata opened the door and almost screamed when she saw Hiashi on the other side of the door this time. "Well. I was wondering if this was what the secret between you two was about and I wasn't disappointed."

Neji almost fell backwards as he watched Hiashi walk out the forbidden Hyuga vault. Hiashi looked amused as he looked at his 'nephew'.

"Well. I can really have a reason to deny the council for pushing the two of you to wed. It would be impossible to have you two breed now. I told them years ago that it was a hideous idea. You two are close, but I'm sure not on that level. Considering you have more of a liking to that orphan girl Neji."

Neji turned a pale green color, he felt like he was going to throw up. This was sick. This was all so SICK. Hiashi pushed the green book back in place and watched the bookshelf close and return back to being hidden. "Questions?"

Hinata eyes were wide as saucers. She shook with a mixture of fear and anger. "Why?"

Hiashi folded his arms and looked at Hinata. "You know why. If you have gotten all the way to this point Hinata, that means you broke into the Hokage's forbidden vault. That means you took a forbidden scroll. That means you read it and you KNOW why. Our family is meant to stay in the confines of the hidden leaf village. They are our jailers. We're all caged in. Not just the branch family."

Hinata shook her head. Refusing to believe him. "We protect this village. With our lives."

Hiashi nodded his head in agreement. "What choice do we have. We can't leave. You read the scroll. The growth of our clan stays within Konoha. So, I was denied. I lost the fight for our clan and I lost my brother to the caged bird seal."

Neji sat on the floor as he looked up at Hiashi. He felt like his world was coming to an end. That everything was crumbling around him. "I don't understand."

Hiashi looked at him and tilted his head. "Hizashi was sterile. If your young minds can't figure out what that means. I'll break it down. He was unable to have children of his own. Now, I do remember having the talk to you both of where children come from."

Hiashi smiled for a moment, even though Neji and Hinata looked nowhere near amused. They just weren't numb to everything like he was yet. The smile soon left Hiashi as he thought about his brother. "The least I could do for my brother was give him a child. Since he could not have freedom."

Neji nodded his head slowly as he was taking deep breaths to get his wits together. Everything slowly coming together. "You couldn't revolt?"

Hiashi again chuckled at this. "Trust me. You do not want to be the clan to revolt against Konoha." While Neji looked at Hiashi confused, Hinata thought back to what Itachi had told her.

About the Uzumaki and Uchiha clan. "T-The Uzumaki and Uchiha clan? Is that…what happened to them? They tried to revolt?"

Hiashi let out a sigh and shook his head. "No Hinata…look Konoha is not entirely the enemy. It's not always fair, but Konoha is not the worse place to live. However, I was hoping you two would discover all of this on your own. Since I was banned from speaking on the matter."

Hiashi walked over to his desk and sat in his chair. "Maybe now. With my daughter and nephew. I will still call you that, because my brother raised you and he was a good man. That being said, with you two working with me we can change how things are being functioned here in Konoha. Maybe in a few years we can push our agenda again. However, to do that. Certain people have to die. Let's make that happen."

Hinata looked at Hiashi like he was insane. "This is unethical father. We…will be betraying-"

Hiashi gave Hinata a cold look, "The same village that has already betrayed you. That never defended any of my actions. All my justified actions. Abolishing the caged bird seal. Saving my daughter from a foreign enemy. You'd have a better life if it wasn't for those fools on the council of this village. You'd have a better me, but it never came to be. Be angry with me all you want Hinata, but also know who else is to blame as well."

Hiashi gave a chilling smile to Hinata as he leaned an elbow on his desk. "Besides. Now…you need me. You broke into the Hokage's office. Never told her or your sensei. Stole from the Nara's residence from what I'm hearing and helped a known missing-nin gain his strength back. Itachi Uchiha. Good job on that Hinata. The man massacred his entire clan and joined a terrorist organization, and you helped him. The council probably won't give you any pity for any of this…they'll destroy you. You need that to go away. Obviously your father can do that. Plus, a better rehab than what your pathetic sensei was fooling you with."

Hinata was frozen in place as Hiashi fully smiled at Hinata and tilted his head. "I'm your father. Do you not think I noticed? Punishment can go to you and Neji for keeping this from me, because I know you knew Neji. However, instead I am reaching out a helpful hand. That you and Neji both need from me. Let's see how you look on paper my dear daughter."

Hiashi lifted his fingers up to count. "I have a traitorous, alcoholic, unstable daughter who was tainted with dark chakra from the snake sannin. She's used, beaten up goods. That frequented the red-light district multiple times. To do 'who knows what'. I have all the documented date and times Hinata that you went there. Do you want me to tell you? I thought not. Now, like I said. You need me. Just like now, I need you. If you want that free lifestyle with those two orphan's. I advise you to mature a lot quicker than you are. You are my heir after all. You're not a Hatake. You're a Hyuga. You're my daughter. A clone of ME."

Hiashi stood up from his seat and stood in front of Hinata as he leaned against his desk. "Hn, and did you think I didn't notice about the Uzumaki and Uchiha boy either? How they adore you. Don't be ridiculous. Of course I noticed. If I didn't see them as useful in the future I would have already put a stop to those relationships a long time ago. However, it's in the Uzumaki's blood to be great. He'll become Hokage. I am sure of that. The Uchiha. Enough is said with his genetics and name. Why else would I not interfere."

Hiashi watched tears roll down Hinata's face and the dark chakra start to show in her veins. "You're…you're a MONSTER. How could you…know I was going through such things and not help your DAUGHTER."

Hiashi reached over and touched Hinata's bruised cheek. Catching her tears. "You'll soon grow numb to the world like I have my dearest daughter. Once you've actually gotten your soul crushed by Konoha so many times, you'll start to see things my way. Tell me, without doing things my way. Do you see them ever allowing you to abolish the seal?"

Hinata looked up at Hiashi with tears pouring down her face. She felt like she was looking at the devil. "I…don't know what to do."

Hiashi nodded his head at her. "I do. You are done with running away from me. In the end, you can only rely on your family Hinata. You already knew that. Or you wouldn't have told the Hokage you wanted to come home with me. You already have it in your head that you want vengeance Hinata. Now we're both finally on the same page. All I need you to do is one little thing for me Hinata. Just tell me you need your fathers help…gracefully."

Hiashi watched as all the dark chakra consumed Hinata's veins. As she looked at him with black glazed eyes. Tears still pouring from her face.

"I…need help. PLEASE."

Neji sat on the ground in the park.

He was on a blanket and had a basket with food laid out on it. He was dressed in his normal ninja attire and leaned forward to pour tea for his other half. Tenten.

She looked at him hesitant to speak. Not because there was animosity or mistrust against the two of them, but because she was nervous. It's only been a week since Neji and Hinata have been back. Tenten has only been allowed to see Neji just two days ago. No one has seen Hinata since the two came back and out the hospital.

Neji wasn't talking about it either.

Neji leaned back and looked at Tenten calmly. He knew she wanted to talk about it. "Well. There is no need to sit there awkwardly Tenten. Out with it." Tenten blushed and looked up at him. "Well, it's not an easy conversation to have. Now is it?"

Neji raised his brow in amusement as he took his cup of tea and brought it to his lips. "Try me." Tenten huffed for a moment before she laid on her side. She looked up at him and her hands stayed busy as she played with the blanket. "So. The Akatsuki men. They tortured you?"

Neji sipped his tea, but still kept his eyes on Tenten as he answered her. "No. They just beat me senseless. I suppose to get their point across that we were their hostages."

He watched Tenten close her eyes somberly. She grimaced at the thought of Neji being beat till he was black and blue. When she saw him for the first time a few days ago…she cried. She had never seen Neji look so BROKEN. "How are you handling being back?"

Neji placed his tea down and reached in the basket for a finger sandwich. He shrugged his shoulders at the question. "Are you asking if I'm filled with anxiety? Depression? Post-traumatic stress, Tenten? If you want to know if I've lost my mind in the matter of a few days, then just ask that."

Tenten opened her eyes and saw Neji staring at her rather amused. How was he handling this so well? This didn't even happen to her and she felt absolutely awful. "Well…do you feel any of those things?"

Neji smiled as he continued to look her straight in the eyes. He wanted Tenten to know he was being honest. "No. Honestly, I feel nothing." Tenten looked at him confused and concerned, but Neji cut her off from speaking about it. "My turn. I want to know is that okay with you?"

Tenten blinked as she looked at him. What an odd question. "I just want you to be okay Neji. If you feel okay mentally, then that is good enough for me."

Neji tilted his head as he looked at Tenten. "You said you loved me before I went to administer the Chunin exams. Do you still love me Tenten?"

She sat up and looked at Neji. Passion in her eyes. How could he question something so delicate and real. How could he question her feelings? "Yes. Why would you think I'd so easily change my mind."

Neji reached over and lightly cupped Tenten's cheek before he let go and leaned back. "Because I did not tell you I loved you back. I just accepted what you said without returning your feelings. I am sorry about that. I thought about your love when I thought I might die out there. How selfish I was to you and myself."

Tenten always made this funny, weird face when she was trying not to cry. Neji could always see through the funny face though. "Neji…"

"I love you Tenten. I wanted you to know that. I want to court you. To grow with you. Those were the words I wanted to say to you." Neji gave her a calming smile as he watched Tenten rub her eyes so she didn't cry. He looked up from Tenten and saw four figures approaching them. At the sight of team seven, minus Hinata and Lord Jiraiya. Neji frowned. "Crap."

"No. No. No. Neji, you and the pretty lady stay put." Jiraiya approached Neji first and pushed down on Neji's shoulder so he sat back down on the ground, since he was trying to stand up quickly. "You're not an easy ninja to find young lad."

Neji frowned as he looked at Jiraiya. He then looked over at Kakashi, Naruto and Sasuke. "Lord Jiraiya. I've been reporting to the Hokage." He grimaced when Jiraiya squeezed his shoulder rather roughly, he was still healing after all.

Jiraiya had a smile on his face, but he wasn't feeling happy in the slightest. "Didn't your uncle say he would be reporting you and lady Hinata to the Hokage's office. That was what? Over a week ago. What happened with that?"

Neji looked at Tenten who was looking back at Neji. She wanted to know too. Neji has been nothing but secretive and it worried her. "Neji?"

Said person growled in frustration. They caught him in a sensitive situation. "With all due respect Lord Jiraiya and Kakashi-sama. Do we have to have this conversation now? Out here?"

Kakashi looked at Neji for a moment before his eyes switched over to Tenten. "Why the secrets? If she's important enough, be honest now."

Neji glared at Kakashi. Angry that he would insinuate that he would hide things from Tenten. "I do not want to talk about this in the middle of a park…If someone over hears me, I have a lot more to lose than you do."

Jiraiya lifted Neji up by his shoulders and then patted him roughly on the back. "Well. You lead the way and we'll follow!"

Neji gave Jiraiya a pointed look before reaching down for Tenten's hand. He helped her up and smiled at her. "It's okay." He then proceeded to pick up their picnic materials and started to walk further into the forest and away from the park.

Sasuke and Naruto knew exactly where Neji was going. This was Hinata's favorite spot. Where she could swim in peace. Where they would go so the three of them could have privacy.

Once they reached the swimming hole that was surrounded by trees and shrubs. Neji turned around to look at them with his Byakugan active. Ensuring the area was safe. "The investigation has ended."

Kakashi gave Neji a blank look. Trying his best not to put his hands on Neji. "Yes. We know that. Lady Tsunade had called us in to tell us that. That has to be the fastest investigation I've ever seen for a kidnapping and hostage situation."

Neji nodded his head as he deactivated his Byakugan. "That is because my uncle made it all go away. It was…a very bad situation that me and Hinata put ourselves in. Ultimately it was our fault."

Naruto frowned at this. All these secrets were driving him insane. Honestly he didn't care about Hiashi or Neji. He wanted Hinata. "Neji…what HAPPENED. What else happened? Where the hell is Hinata?!"

Neji looked at everyone before he started to dig in the inside of his shirt. "You cannot tell the Hokage. Please. Not because of me, but for Hinata's sake." Jiraiya folded his arms as he looked hesitant. "You want me to withhold information from someone very close to me? You're asking for a lot."

Kakashi ran his hands through his hair for a moment. "Is it that bad?" Neji didn't pause for a moment. "Yes."

Jiraiya threw his hands up in the air. "Well screw it! I'm invested in it now. You have my word kid. Unless Tsunade's life is in danger, I won't utter a word." Neji nodded his head as he pulled out a scroll.

"The man Itachi. He instructed Hinata to retrieve the medication while they held me captive to ensure she completed the task. However, he told Hinata in order for her to find the medication she had to break into the Hokage's forbidden vault and retrieve two scrolls. So she did."

Kakashi let out a heavy breath. Okay, so Hinata broke into the Hokage's office. Minor punishment, especially given the circumstances. "One scroll was for the Nara's deer farm. Where the medication was and the ingredients on how to make it. So, even if Itachi had just gotten one bottle. He now knows how to create more if he needs it."

Jiraiya watched as Neji gripped the scroll in his hand. "The second scroll was this. When Hinata brought it back to him, he shoved it in her face and told her to open it. Hinata didn't want to at first, but…I'm sure she was tired of being beaten so when he gave her a warning look, she ended up taking the scroll."

Neji handed Kakashi the scroll. "She read it. So please, you read what she had to read. What I read. All of it."

Sasuke, Naruto and Jiraiya all crowded around Kakashi as they all read the scroll. Each passing second Neji watched their expressions change. Kakashi closed the scroll and looked at Neji sharply. "Itachi is a missing-nin. Who's to say he didn't plant this to fool you two. To just cause trouble."

Neji smiled at this as he took the scroll from Kakashi. "Remember. I said the same thing in the hospital."

"Hinata. Look at me."

"I do not want to see a tear fall. Do you understand?"

"Good. We don't even know if all of this is real. If anything is true."

Kakashi looked at Neji with widened eyes. "So what happened?"

Neji looked at his hand that he made the small cut on. "Apparently Hinata knew how to do some DNA test within Lord Hiashi's study. Only main branch family members are allowed in this hidden compartment and you could only open it with your blood. So Hinata, Hanabi, Hinata's late mother and lord Hiashi had access. You needed to be an offspring of Lord Hiashi and his wife to get in…and I got in."

Neji had this real disgusted look on his face. "My…GRANDFATHER was being spoken to from Konoha's council about wedding me and Hinata. I think I still throw up from the idea at least once a day. Konoha wanted me to procreate with my sister for a strong Hyuga bloodline and they KNEW she was my sister."

Neji shook his head to clear his mind and looked back at Kakashi. "So. The door opened and much to my utter horror, Lord Hiashi was behind the door. He waited. He knew. He knew this whole time what was happening. He set me and Hinata up like dominoes just to watch us fall."

Jiraiya looked at Neji totally thrown off now. He was already completely blown at the thought that Neji and Hinata would be wedded, mainly because HE has heard people suggest that as well. He felt sick to his stomach now. "What do you mean he set you two up?"

Neji gave a hollow smile as he looked at Kakashi, then Sasuke and finally Naruto. "He knows everything. He knows for Hinata to even test this theory out of us being brother and sister, that she had to have seen the forbidden scroll. Meaning she broke into the Hokage's office. He knows she stole the medication from the Nara's. He knows that she has the dark chakra in her and that her pure Hyuga blood is now tainted. I don't know how he found out, but that bastard knows. He knows that she's been drinking since she was like six. He know everything. He always knew."

Neji eyes widened more and more as he spoke. He himself was unraveling. That man was a complete evil fucking monster. He literally watched his daughter fall into an addiction and waited until it was convenient for him before he helped her.

Neji's face grew red and he ran his hands through his hair. Obviously still damaged from the kidnapping and overall everything that's happened the last few weeks. "He's a horrible man. He's a sick human being and I'm in debt to him now. Hinata is in debt to him now."

Kakashi closed his eyes and balled his fists. He just knew it was a bad idea for Hinata to go back that night. He should have stood up better for her. Hinata would have been safe with him.

Neji shook his head as he kept thinking about that night. "He…he just waited. Till…we needed him. What was Hinata going to do? A whole investigation was being made against her. He…He could just tell them EVERYTHING. Her life would be ruined. They would activate the cage bird seal on me. More than likely kill me to silence me. What were we supposed to do?"

Jiraiya walked up to Neji, but he stepped away from him. "No. Don't touch me. Do you really think I wanted to ask for Hiashi to come to rescue me and Hinata? I knew. I knew it was over for her and everything would come out. We'd be buried."

Kakashi swallowed a lump in his throat as he looked at Neji. That dull look in Hinata's eyes that night in the hospital. She knew the same thing as Neji. She knew it was over for her. Hiashi got it his way. Not only was Hinata crawling back to Hiashi, but so was Neji. "What did you and Hinata do then?"

Neji looked at Kakashi before he looked off in shame. "We asked our 'father' for help…so he helped. That's what family does right? All of it went away, now all we have to do is not step out of line like that again. No more foolishness from Hinata or myself. It's better this way. His words…not mine."

Sasuke looked at Neji. Coming back full circle to Naruto's question. "Where. Is. Hinata?"

Neji smiled at this. He actually chuckled as he looked at Sasuke. "Rehab. She entered into rehab on her own. She'll be gone for a few months."

Naruto's mouth went dry. Rehab? Hinata had been doing fine, sober on her own. "What the hell do you mean rehab?!" Sasuke added on to this, "Did she relapse?"

Neji let out a sigh. "Yes. Before we went to the study, I asked her and she admitted to drinking. She said she planned it the moment I requested for Lord Hiashi to come get us."

Neji shook his head again as he saw the hurt looks on Naruto and Sasuke's face. He then looked up at Kakashi. "She…admitted she has a problem finally."

Kakashi squared his jaw because he felt himself actually grow emotional over this. He hasn't gotten this attached to another person in a long time. Hinata had hit the worst kind of rock bottom and she was alone with that sick bastard Hiashi.

Naruto looked at Neji and was holding back the urge to go into a rage and look for Hinata himself. "She did?" Hinata had never really admitted to having an alcohol addiction. She just kept telling them she was working on it and if a craving hit. If she admitted to finally having a problem that meant she was really at a dark point.

Neji nodded his head. "Yes. She said after we find out the truth in the study, the next morning when she reported to Lady Tsunade. She was going to request to get help personally from her and admit to everything. She really respects the Hokage and actually wanted Lady Tsunade to help her."

Naruto let out a heavy sigh because he believed this. Hinata did have a strong relationship with Tsunade. That would have been the way Hinata would want to go. Not with her father of all people.

Sasuke and Naruto watched Kakashi place his hands behind his head and turn around to walk a few steps away. Clearly trying to get ahold of his emotions. This hurt Kakashi. It hurt him BAD.

Neji looked to the ground as he finished speaking. "Hiashi wasn't surprised Hinata relapsed. That's for sure. He had the date and times of every night Hinata snuck out to the red-light district."

Sasuke just couldn't believe any of this. That fucking monster just let his daughter fall deeper and deeper into her addiction and never thought to help her. Hiashi was USING Hinata right now. For convenience.

Neji thought about that night and how humiliated Hinata looked. Terrified and humiliated. "I have a traitorous, alcoholic, unstable daughter who was tainted with dark chakra from the snake sannin. She's used, beaten up goods. That frequented the red-light district multiple times. I have all the documented date and times Hinata, do you want me to tell you? I thought not. If you want that free life with those two orphan's. I advise you to mature a lot quicker than you are."

Neji looked at Naruto and Sasuke as he spoke some of the exact words from his 'father'. "That's what Hiashi said to her. Word for word. He picked and picked at her. Tore her down just like he always did in training. He did it until…she begged for his help. She couldn't let this get out. For people to know this about her. Hinata wouldn't be able to take that. She'd crawl in a hole and die if any of this got out."

He smiled as he found slight humor to the situation. "Good news. He approves of Hinata being with you two though. As well as me being with Tenten. He is just…numb from everything that has happened. Do you blame him?"

Jiraiya shook his head as he looked at Neji. Hiashi was doing a fine job brainwashing him that was for sure. If he did this to Neji, he could imagine the number he's doing on Hinata. "This is not the way to solve things. By torturing his family."

Neji looked at Jiraiya confused. "I'm not tortured. I'm fine. Hinata went to rehab on her own. She didn't do it because she was tortured. She did it for these two."

He pointed to Naruto and Sasuke as he spoke. "Just leave her to her family for a while. I've learned I can't fight it. In the end…Hiashi, he was right. In the end the ones there to pick you up is your family. He doesn't do it in the nicest way, but he's always there. Just…leave her alone for a while. Let Hinata come to you."

Kakashi came back to the group and shook his head in confusion. "Does…the Hokage not know where Hinata is?"

Neji shrugged his shoulders. "I doubt it. If Lord Hiashi wanted this whole thing to go away and if he wanted to send Hinata away. He was going to make it happen without anyone knowing. His connections are endless. If you think about it, for Lady Tsunade to retaliate and question where Hinata is. Everyone would have to find out about her substance abuse problem."

So she wasn't going to push the matter.

Jiraiya folded his fingers behind his head. This was utterly depressing to hear. "Your 'father' is absolutely evil. He's angry against the village right now and he's pulling you and Hinata down with him. So what now? Everyone just sit around and wait for Hinata to come out of this weird unnamed rehab?"

That's what happened.

For three months.

End of chapter.

So, this chapter was called 'Falling From Grace' because that is what has happened to Hinata. Since the mission in Mist village, Hinata has advocated for herself, Naruto and Sasuke to not give in to their dark desires. To their anger. Well, Hinata was the first to fully crack and it wasn't because of Orochimaru or a mission gone wrong. It was because of her father at home.

I wanted to put Kakashi as a bit more caring. More so for Hinata because he can see similarities in her that will be shared soon in future chapters.

I know I made it seem like Hiashi was gonna be a stellar dad that saw the good in the world, but that's not the case.

Now the story will start to become more Hyuga-centric like I said. Last chapter and this chapter you can see that.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this chapter. See you Saturday!
