On May 17th, it was Luna's 16th birthday. She woke up before the others.
"Morning, Luna!" Lincoln says as he had his breakfast in bed for her.
"Thanks, Lincoln!" Luna says as he made her pancakes and bacon.
"You're welcome." Lincoln says.
Luna eats her breakfast, then she takes her time in the bathroom as she gets ready for school, as it was a Friday.
Lucy clung to Lincoln; she was finally well enough to return to school.
"Happy birthday, Luna!" Rita says as Lola and Lana smiled nervously as they forgot.
Soon, Lori drove each of the Louds to their locations.
Lucy snuck into Lincoln's class, wanting to just be with him.
"Lucy, go to class." Lincoln says.
"No-no…" Lucy says, clinging on to him.
"I'll be fine." Lincoln says as Lucy didn't budge.
"Please." Lincoln says as Lucy finally heads to class. She noticed that Lincoln and Luna were getting closer.
With Luna, she was heading to class with a smile. Sam smiled
"Happy birthday, Lunes!" Sam says, fist-bumping her.
"Same to you, Sammy!" Luna says to Sam.
Class went on like normal.
Meanwhile, Chandler tripped Lincoln by tying his laces together as Lincoln fell and groaned.
Clyde helped Lincoln up.
"Are you okay, buddy?" Clyde asked.
"Yeah…" Lincoln says.
After school, the siblings were getting stuff ready for Luna's party.
Lucy didn't feel like helping, just watching.
The siblings were going to have the party at Lynn's Table. Lucy didn't enjoy setting foot in the restaurant, but she would if it made Lincoln happy. She owed him.
With Luna, she was with Sam at band practice.
Sam felt tired. "Let's call it a day." Sam says.
Luna smiled as they left band practice and headed to the restaurant.
Confetti rained down on them.
"What in the world?!" They both say.
"Surprise! Happy birthday, Sam and Luna!" the siblings, Sam's family, and the Moon Goats all say.
"Oh, my gosh!" Sam says.
"Thank you!" Luna says.
"No problem." Simon says as Sam hugged her brother.
Lucy was in the vents but Luna didn't notice.
The girls then opened gifts.
Lincoln made Luna a comic about Ace Savvy and included her in it.
"Lincoln, I love it!!!" Luna says.
Luna then opened the other gifts from her siblings.
Lori got her a laptop, Leni made her new clothes, and Lana got her a guitar. Rita and Lynn Sr got her a new car
"No way!!!" Luna says. "Amazing gift!" She hugs her parents.
Sam got a new guitar from her parents and a new car "Wow!" Sam says.
Soon, Luna and Sam danced as everyone clapped.
Lucy noticed Lincoln was giving more attention to Luna than to her. Lucy decided to use a spell from a book as suddenly bats swarmed the cake, ruining it.
Lucy tried to grab Lincoln. "Come on, Lincoln." Lucy says. But Lincoln was not going. He was seen shooing the bats away from the cake and going off to either fix it or make another cake with Luan as both of the birthday girls were crying.
"You know that was disrespectful, right?" Lori says. "He'll give you attention, Lucy. But ruining the birthday cake is not how you do it. He's giving Luna attention because it's her birthday."
"I'm afraid I have to take your book away from you until the party is over." Rita says as she does so.
Lucy looked down ashamed.
Later, Luna and Sam still feel sad.
Luan goes to remake it with Lincoln as Lucy heads home.
"I can bake." Lola says.
"Really?" Lincoln asked as Lola nodded.
Later, they finished.
"Ta-da!!" Lola says.
"No way!" Luna says
Sam smiled as it said "Happy 16th Birthday, Luna and Sam!" in purple and teal icing.
"Awww, you guys…" Sam says.
Everyone began to sing to them as Luna and Sam smiled and thinks of a wish.
"I wish to win America's Next Hitmaker someday." Luna thought.
"I wish to marry Luna someday." Sam thought.
Both girls blew out the sixteen candles on their cake as everyone cheered.
Lucy sat in her room waiting for Lincoln to come back. She packed all her things as she made plans to run away with Lincoln.
"We can't stay here. But Lincoln is happy here." Lucy thought, then thought about some things her siblings tried to do for her. Leni, while naive, was super sweet. Luna and Sam did make Lincoln happy. Lana did watch after Fangs once.
The siblings came back. "How bad is it? I know, ground Lucy for a month." Lola says.
"That won't be necessary." Rita says.
"Yeah, we're just going to ask why she did it." Leni says
"Honestly, she's contributed nothing. She's like Lincoln's opposite, maybe she is….Lynn, how do you put it?" Lola asked
"Bad luck. I don't wanna go that far." Lynn says.
Lucy was having mental flashbacks about her original parents calling her. She got scared.
"Actually, I want to talk to her." Luna says.
That night Lucy was in fear when Luna and Lincoln came.
Lucy shook hard.
"We just want to talk." Luna says.
Lucy gulped, guilt bubbled in her stomach. She tears up a bit and wanted to speak but Luna hugged her. "I forgive you. I talked to Mom and Dad to go easy on you." Luna says as Lincoln smiles.
"I'm going to have to spend time with all of you, but I'd never forget you, Lucy." Lincoln says
"I love you, Lincoln and I-I-I love you, Luna. I'm so sorry. I'm just having trouble adjusting…" Lucy stammered.
"It's okay, you know the other sisters want to hang out with you, too. You just need to give them a chance." Luna says.
Lucy thinks about it and nods, but her stomach growls.
"I'm sort of hungry." Lucy says.
"Come, I brought you some food and cake from the party." Luna says.
Lucy smiled as she followed Luna.
Lucy began to eat. "You think Mom and Dad hate me?" Lucy asked Luna.
"I don't think they do. Why do you ask?" Luna asked.
"My old parents beat me up a lot." Lucy says. This was the first time Lucy opened up to one of the siblings as she rose her shirt up, revealing scars, even cigar burns. Luna gasped at this.
"She's had it rough." Lincoln says.
"Mom and Dad would never do that." Luna says.
Lucy finished eating and fell asleep " Thanks Luna " Lincoln says
Sally was thinking about taking them to the castle
