Very soon, it is my mom's funeral. Alan has found out that Evelyn has someone in dauntless to do things for her . I can never imagine that person will be nathan. Nathan is Hana's husband . I don't want to hurt hana but I don't want to miss the chance to revenge
Alan wants me to wait . He will revenge for me . He is working as lieutenant beside my dad and some Time he will be at the fence . I always go to fence to see him and he says that he will attend my mom's funeral.
My mom likes him very much because she knees that I had a crushed on Alan. I wear black cloth and a white flower on my chest.
"You aren't her real daughter." Shauna asks me
"Yeah she is my adopted mom but I already see her as my real mother ." I explain
"Aren't you curious who your parent really are ?" Marlene frowns
I don't know how to answer the question .
"She told me that they are someone from abnegation but I don't want to know who they are ."'I clinch my teeth.
I see that all the leaders of factions are here . Andrew prior , Jeanine Matthew , Jack kang and Johanna Reyes are also here . Andrew prior and his family come with flowers
"We are sorry for your lost." Natalia prior sighs.
"Thank you ms prior ." I smile at her
Natalia is so pretty. I heard that she transferred to abnegation but I don't know which faction did she leave behind
"You are welcome." Natalia leaves with her daughters and son
"Are they your daughters and son?" I stand beside Andrew
"Yes , we lost our eldest daughter and beatrice is the eldest now and Maria and Caleb are same aged." Andrew explains
I look at Natalia . I look like her so much . Can that be they are my real parent.
"They are adorable." I smile
"They still have two years before choosing." Andrew gives me a thumb up.
Alan comes toward me . I have to make a speech.
"Thank you for every of you to attend the funeral. I am really appreciated your moaning. My mom is the greatest woman in dauntless and she had done so many things for us." I am crying." I wish now that she can rest peacefully in heaven."
I know that she didn't die naturally.'however now it isn't the time for me to revenge . I have to welcome Evelyn into the family. I see that Evelyn is standing with dad .
"Of course my dad is super sad about my mom's death but of course I know that life has to continue , then if my dad can find someone to love him, then I am willing to sacrifice myself." I look at Evelyn
I need her to be beside me . Watching her closely will be a good strategy. Alan gives me a thumb up. He knows that what I am going to do.
Everyone start clapping. I get off the stage . I walk toward Evelyn
"Welcome to dauntless evelyn." I smile at her." I heard something about you and my dad."
"I love your dad for real. I also have a son. If we married , then he will be your step brother." Evelyn takes out her hand
"I said if you really love my dad , then everything will be fine ." I take her hand." However I will not call you mom before I can get away with that."
Evelyn nods at me . Alan walks beside me . He gives me slice of cake
"Eat something first." Alan says
"Thanks Alan." I smile at him.
I take the cake and bite it. It is sweet. Mom I will kill this woman . I will revenge for you.
" have some cake ." I point at the table
" sure , I am pregnant so I have to eat as little as possible." Evelyn nods at me
She leaves dad and walks toward the table .
"You accepted her now!" Dad is surprised
"I told you that if she loves you, then yes." I say coldly.
"Thank you Delia . I love you." Dad hugs me .
I didn't say anything . I push him away and I stand beside Alan
"I will kill her ." I clinch my fist
"Not now Delia." Alan traces his hand with mine
"I know that Alan. Thank you for telling me the truth." I rest my head on his shoulder
Alan kisses my forehead . He always likes to kiss my forehead
"Why not lips." I blink my eyes
"It is for when we are officially together ." Alan says
"Fine ." I roll my eyes
After funeral, I sit in my own room. Alan comes in with some foods.
"You have to eat something." Alan gives me the food
"Thank you Alan." I rest on his shoulder
"Delia you can't be this sad . You have to pretend that everything finished . You have to tell Evelyn and your dad that you are no longer angry." Alan sighs." You should call her mom as soon as possible."
I am staring at Alan. Alan is crying. I know that he also feels for that.
"I will try." I am tired." I want to sleep."
Now someone is knocking on the door .
" come in please ."
Sam is here . He coughs a little . He is the best friends for Alan
"Your dad asks you to have dinner with Evelyn and her son." Sam looks at Alan." He doesn't like you to stay in Delia's room."
"Okay I will come ." Alan stands up." I will see you later Delia."
"Okay bye see you." I wave at him
I feel so tired so I lay down and fall in to sleep. When I wake up, it is time for dinner. I dressed up and walk toward dad's room.
Evelyn finished cooking and Tobias is here
"Hey Delia." Tobias smiles at me
"Hey Tobias . Soon you will be my step brother ." I laugh
"Yeah we are a family" Evelyn nods at me
Dad is satisfy with how I am performing
"However dad I have to request." I say
"Yes you can say ." Dad gives in
"First you can't interfere how I am staying or doing with Alan. Second is not sending him away ." I threaten him
Dad looks at me for a long time . I know that he doesn't want to say yes
"Or I will say no to you and Evelyn." I fold my arms in front of my chest
"Fine I give you permission." Dad gives ups
"Thank you dad ." I say
I don't kiss him and I don't show that I am excited .
"Dinner is ready so we can eat." Evelyn claps her hand
We start to eat. Tobias is very silent. He looks at me
"I am sorry for your lost." Tobias looks really sad
"It's fine. People will get sick ." I say as causal as possible.
"Your mom will love you forever ." Tobias pats me on my back
I finished dinner quickly. I sneak out of the room
"Delia." Ted is here
"Ted!" I am happy to see him
"Are you okay" ted is worried about me
I nod at him. I return to my room. Hana is there
"Hey hana ." I sit down beside her
"I know that my husband was working with Evelyn ." Hana is crying
"Hana it is okay. We will find a way to deal with it." I hug her
I know that hana loves Nathan so much. Hana is very good to me sink don't know what should I do
"Are you going to kill him?" Hana grabs my shoulder ."I am sorry Delia."
"Hana I am not going to kill him but I will kill Evelyn." I shake my head."'I am doing it for you."
"Really! Thank you Delia." Hana hugs me
I know that hana has two sons . They can't live without a dad
"I know that Zeke and Uriah can't live without a dad so that's why I decide not to kill him."
"I promise that Nathan will do no more bad things." Hana is crying.
"I trust you hana . " I hug her
Hana leaves and I lay down on the bed . She really needs her husband so I decide not to kill Nathan. However I decide not to kill her but doesn't mean that other will not . I close my eyes and fall into sleep.
When I wake up , it is already second morning. I get up from the bed and stretch myself
"Morning." I get up and open my phone . It is 8o clock.
"I have to go to school today." I jump upside down
I sneak out of the room. Alan and Sam are talking
"Morning Alan." I hug him
"Honey, today is weekend ." Alan brushes my hair"
"Weekend ? No school?" I am surprised." I thought that I am late."
Alan giggles . I am still tired .
"I want to eat the eggs cooked by you." I grab his arms
"Okay fine." Alan nods at me ." I will talk to you later Sam."
" yeah see you later Alan ." Sam waves at us
Alan gets into my room. He opens the fridge .
"Only two eggs? No other foods! I will buy you some today." Alan nudges my face
"So you are my boyfriend now ?" I smile at him
"Kind of , you are always the girl in my heart." Alan kisses my cheek ." When we are officially together , it is not his simple."
I know what he means . I am blushing. Alan smirks
"Can't wait?" Alan touches my ear lobes .
I nudge his hand away. Alan starts to cook. I hug him from behind
"I love you." I say
"Me too Delia. Max says that he agrees that I am with you. Did you ask him for anything?" Alan turns around and staring at me
"I told him if he agrees , then I will agree him and Evelyn." I sigh
Alan hugs me so tight . He sighs with relief
"That's good . I don't want you to give up anything okay?" Alan grabs my face .
