Sarah has become a wildly successful director, yet her life dissatisfies her. When a bedraggled Jareth appears and begs her to save the Labyrinth by wishing herself away, she obliges in order to save her friends. Sarah moves to England and travels to Ireland on a tour of Newgrange Mound. She falls through a portal by accident and leaves her world behind. She encounters several types of magical creatures trying to get to the Goblin Kingdom. That is where her friends are wondering what happened to her.

A decade later & at the behest of her friends Sarah returns to the Labyrinth to help save their world from a fate darker & more terrifying than anything Jareth could dream up—Jareth whom she's never been able to forget. Twelve years ago she ran the Labyrinth. When she came home she thought it was all over. She was wrong. Someone was angry about what happened when she was in the Labyrinth. A year later they struck. Now she needs to do whatever she needs to do to keep herself and her brother safe.

"You have my word," he vowed, relief and sorrow battling for dominance within him. He let his fingers close around the scroll, saving himself from one heartbreak only to seal another to fate.
