Merlin disappeared a year ago, on a usual day of gathering herbs. Arthur searched high and low, refusing to leave any stone unturned. Finally, word gets to him of a slave ring in a remote part of the Kingdom. Arthur didn't want to believe it, but there was no denying the familiar profile of the man hunched down in a cage, waiting to be sold.
