Once when man's evil had grown so great a rift in the sky opened up. From it poured creatures called Digimon. They were evil Digimon who had been drawn by the world's evil, and sought to enslave humanity. They were led by a Digimon known as GanDracmon. It led an army of demonic Digimon known as The Seven Demon Lords.
Humanity tried to fight back, but to no avail. With no choice they cried out, but no answer came. The people began to lose hope, but one man and his family refused to give up. The man and his family kept praying. Soon they heard a voice saying "Gather ten people. At least two must be female." So the man did, and once they were gathered they prayed.
Suddenly a bright light shone, and a voice could be heard saying, "This is my new servant Yggdrasil. It shall give you the power to defeat these demons."
Then a strange metallic being emerged. It beamed ten lights and said, "Choose ten of you to inherit the power of ten warriors."
The ten people who had joined the man and his family in prayer nodded. They entered the beams, and were blessed with the power of the Ten Legendary Ancient Warriors. AncientGrey of Flames. AncientGarurumon of Light. AncientSpinxmon of Darkness. AncientWisemon of Metal. AncientVolcamon of Earth. AncientMermaimon of Water. AncientTroiamon of Wood. Ancient Silphymon of Wind. AncientBeetlemon of Thunder. AncientMegatheriummon of Ice.
With their power the demons were destroyed, but so was the world. The man and his family asked Yggdrasil what to do. Could they go to where the Digimon came from? But Yggdrasil told them, "No. That world had also been ruined by the evil Digimon. However, there was a way to save both." It instructed them to build an ark. Once it was finished two of every kind of animal were gathered and put on the ark. The man and his family then went on board. Everyone else was instructed to board, but they refused. They chose instead to run and hide, for they refused to believe the world was beyond saving.
Once everything was prepared Yggdrasil instructed the Ten to combine their powers. Doing so they became Susanoomon of Heaven. Using Susanoomon's power the Human and Digital worlds became one. However, only the animals on the ark, as well as the man and his family, lived. Even Digimon had been whipped out by the fusion.
Once it was safe, the doors on the boat opened, and the animals ran out. The man and his family left. They were each given a Digiegg. The eggs hatched and became their lifelong partners. Over time more and more humans were born into the new world. Once they reached ten years of age they received a Digiegg.
As populations grew, humans were gathered by the Ten Ancient Warriors, each taking a group to a different part of the world. AncientGreymon settled people in East people there grew to love Dragon's Roar Digimon, and other fire and dragon Digimon. AncientTroiamon took people to South America. There, people trained plant and Jungle Trooper Digimon. AncientSpinxmon led people to North Africa, the Middle East and India. Those people took a liking to Demon beast and Nightmare Soldiers Digimon. AncientMermaimon led a group to islands in the Pacific Net Ocean. There, people used aquatic and Deep Savers Digimon. AnicentVolcamon took some to , rock and mineral type Digimon as well as Nature Spirit Digimon became popular. AncientSylphmon put people in Central America. All sorts of bird and Wind Guardian Digimon could be found there. AncientBeatlemon set some in Africa. Insect and other Jungle Trooper Digimon flourished there. Ancient Wisemon settled humans in Europe. Metal Empire and mutant Digimon were trained there. AncientMegathariummon took humans to Scandinavia, Russia, Canada and Alaska. There, arctic Digimon, and Deep Savers became necessary. AncientGarurumon settled humans in the United States, where the Server Tree was. It became home to Virus Buster Digimon.
With their task finally completed the Ancient Warriors could finally pass on. The people thanked them for their sacrifice, and erected statues and memorials to them. Some even began to worship them. Their powers were split into two Spirits. Human and Beast.
Yggdrasil gave the Human Spirits to the Three great Angels, plus two others. Clavis Angemon and Rasielmon. To Seraphimon it gave Light and Darkness. To Ophanimon it gave Water and Fire. To Cherubimon it gave Steel and Wood. To Clavis Angemon it gave Ice and Thunder. To Rasielmon it gave Wind and Earth.
To the Four Holy beast, and their leader Huanglongmon, Yggdrasil gave them the Beast Spirits. To Qinglongmon it gave Fire and Water. To Zhuqaoimon it gave Wind and Earth. To Baihumon it gave Ice and Thunder. To Xuanwumon it gave Steel and Wood. To Huanglongmon it gave Light and Darkness.
With the Spirits entrusted to them they left and scattered across the world. Huanglongmon settled down at the roots of the Server Tree. The roots slowly covered it. Quinglongmon went to, where one day a great wall would one day be built over it. Zhuqaoimon left for the mountains where snow, ice and rocks soon covered him. Baihumon climbed the tallest mountain in Africa where he would be forgotten. Xuanwumon hid himself deep in the Amazon Rainforest. Seraphimon hid where a pyramid would soon be built over him. Ophanimon went to a small island and became lost and forgotten. Cherubimon went to where a mighty colosseum would be built above him. Rasielmon went to a vast desert, where she was covered by sand. Clavis Angemon left for an icy wasteland where it was frozen and lost. Once hidden, they fell into a deep slumber, only to be disturbed when the world needed the power of the Ancient Warriors.
There they remained for thousands of years. The Spirits brought balance to the world, but then one day a portal opened. An evil witch came and stole the Human and Beast Spirit of Darkness, as well as a Digiegg. One year later, an evil man came bearing the power of the corrupted Spirit of Darkness. He used its power to steal the other Human and Beast Spirits.
To counter this new threat, and restore balance, Yggdrasil sent out special Digieggs in hope that inheritors to the remaining Spirits can be found. Its Royal Knights are watching, ready to train the successors. But so is the evil man. Lord Drakkon is watching.
A/N: I will be taking some creative liberties with Drakkon's backstory, as to not have to worry about too many OCs. Let me know if anyone is OOC. If there are any inconsistencies with Digimon names I apologize. I will be using a mix of original Japanese and dub names, but will try to use the same one for each Digimon.
