Digimon Adventure 02, Episode 4: Iron Vegiemon
Okay, just to get things started, I would like to tell those who don't know is that the Digi-sludge in this is actually poop which was seen in the Japanese version. And if you think it's gross, then I'll have to agree with you, because it is gross. I would like to share with everyone that I won't be using
Cody narrated, "The Digimon Emperor was not only hunting Digimon and turning them into his slaves, but he was also making them fight each other just for the fun of it! We detected more DigiEggs, but before we could find them, a gang of Tyrannomon attacked us under orders from the Emperor, so we split up. TK and Kari found their DigiEggs inside of a cave. Gatomon was finally able to Armor Digivolve into Nefertimon, and Patamon transformed into Pegasusmon! And with their help, we defeated the Tyrannomon and broke them free from the Digimon Emperor's Dark Rings!"

The scene opens up with the DigiDestined are joined by Tai and Agumon as they have infiltrated the Digimon Emperor's arena to free the Gotsumon that were captured. There wasn't even a single guard to stop them.
"Pepper Breath!" Agumon shouted as he fired a fireball right at the cell.
"V-Headbutt!" Veemon shouted, headbutting the cell with his head. "Come on, guys! Let's rock!"
Not needing to be told twice, the Gotsumon began to run for it.
"That...was...easy!" Davis said. The DigiDestined leads the Gotsumon out of the coliseum.
"You guys are officially fugitives!" Agumon said.
"If that's the puny defense the Digimon Emperor is going to put up, then this fight will be over in the first round!" Davis said.
"Something was weird!" TK said.
"What was?" Patamon asked.
"Well, the fact that it was so easy for us to break out of that prison, there wasn't a single guard around, it was like he wanted us to get away. I think he's up to something," TK said.
"You're crazy! He took one look at our awesome skills and he hit the road! Isn't that right, Kari?" Davis asked.
"Oh. Actually, Davis, I'm going to have to agree with TK," Kari said. Davis groaned. "This guy is not goint to let us get away that easily without some kind of a reason!"
"We'll worry about it later! Let's get back to the real world. I'm starving. I can practically smell the cafetiria food from here!" Tai said.
"That's my peanut butter and jelly bean sandwich I've had in my pocket since last week," Davis said.
"Yuck!" Cody said, disgusted.
As they continued to walk for their exit, Gatomon turned and saw a strange black tower in the distance.
"What's that tower?" Gatomon thought.
"The next one should be in place right about...now," the Digimon Emperor said. "There!" He grinned. "Now, to let everyone know who is the boss." Later, the Digimon Emperor stands before Gabumon and a crowd of Gazimon with some enslaved Vegiemon. "This Control Spire is the most dominating object in the Digital World. Wherever I put one, that area will be under my control and all those around it will be my slaves. It's useless to try and escape, and those who do will have to answer to my soldiers."
"How do I get myself into these things?" Gabumon thought.
Back in the real world, the DigiDestined returned to the computer room, but Yolei and Izzy were shocked to see that they brought the Gotsumon with them, thinking they'd be safer in the real world. Yolei screamed.
"Are you crazy, bringing the Gotsumon back from the Digital World?" Izzy asked.
"But we didn't have a choice. We couldn't just leave them there for the Digimon Emperor to make into slaves. Right?" Tai asked.
"Yep," Kari agreed.
"But how are we going to explain it if Mr. Fujiyama happens to come in here?" Yolei asked.
"Don't worry. I'll tell him that I'm taking a sculpting class and these are some of my early masterpieces. Hit it, boys!" Cody said. The Gotsumon got into positions.
"'Early rejects' would be a better phrase," Yolei chuckled.
"Yolei, I have a big favor to ask. Would it be alright with you if I borrowed your Digivice?" Izzy requested.
"But what for?" Yolei asked, handing Yolei her Digivice.
"Well, it's obvious the power from your Digivices opens the gate to the Digital World. Our old Digivices don't seem to work," Izzy deduced.
"Izzy's right. I tried using mine, but no luck. The only way we can get into the Digital World is if one of you opens the gate for us," Tai said.
"So I wanted to try and experiment with the new Digivices, if that's okay with you," Izzy said. Yolei nodded.
Back in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor and his Vegiemon slaves placed Gabumon and the Gazimon in a prison cell.
"Let's move out! I've got an early tea time in the morning," the Digimon Emperor said. Gabumon watched from inside the cell as the Vegiemon carried him in his throne.
"We're busting out tonight, boys! Aw, why wait? Everyone, stay to the back of the cell! Blue Blaster!" Gabumon shouted, destroying the wall of their prison cell. They ran out, but a green spiked limb comes flying at Gabumon. It hits him.
"Apparently, you don't listen to instructions!" A Digimon spoke up.
"Who are you?" Gabumon asked.
"I'm the Digital World's biggest salad bar, RedVegiemon!" The red Digimon said. The Digimon Analyzer activates. "I am the biggest and the ripest of all Vegiemon. My Stink Jet attack destroys my enemies with noxious fumes!" The Digimon Analyzer deactivates.
"Try and stop us, stinky!" Gabumon said, daring RedVegiemon.
"For trying to escape, you get to smell my roots. And I have root rot!" RedVegiemon shouted. He proceeds to hit Gabumonm "Smell this!" RedVegiemon keeps on hitting Gabumon with his spiked limbs.
"Yuck!" Gabumon yelped.
"Smell it again!" RedVegiemon said, hitting him again.
"That's disgusting! No more, please!" Gabumon begged.
"You kidding?! I'm just warming up!" RedVegiemon said. Gabumon is knocked out from Regimon's assault. "Hey, if you can't stand the smell, then get out of the kitchen!" RedVegiemon knocked Gabumon down the cliff and into the river.
"Ahh! My fur is dry-clean only!" Gabumon said, splashing around.
"Let that be a lesson for all of you. Never try to defy the power of the Digimon Emperor!" RedVegiemon said.
Gabumon is washed up to a shore next to a TV located next to the river. Gabumon is weak and hurt from RedVegiemon's hitting, and from the fall. And his fur stunk.
"I've got to tell the others. They need to be warned. I have to find...Matt," Gabumon said, losing consciousness. He sniffed his fur. "Man, I stink!" He fully faints.
Over to the middle school in the real world, Matt was having a concert, in which he was singing. The song began to play as Matt started to play his guitar.
"If you like this one, here is our latest song! It's called 'I Turn Around'," Matt said.

After the concert, TK came to see his brother and explained to him about bringing the Gotsumon over to the real world.
"Listen, TK. Just becasue I'm in a rock band, doesn't mean that I can hide a band of rocks that happen to be Digimon," Matt said.
"Well, think about it. Maybe they could be your backup singers!" TK joked.
"They sound too gravely," Matt said. Just then, a girl with magenta, spiky hair, wearing a white shirt, yellow shorts, and black boots.
"Oooh! Can I have your autoraph?" The girl requested.
"Sure. What's your name?" Matt asked.
"Just make it to Jun Motomiya," the girl replied.
"Did you say Motomiya? You wouldn't happen to be Davis' sister, would you?" TK asked.
"Yeah, that's right. Who are you?" Jun asked.
"His name's TK. He's my little brother," Matt said.
"It's nice to meet you, Jun. Your younger brother, Davis, and I are in the same class together," TK said.
"Will you sign my shirt, too? I get all the cute boys to sign, and you're pretty cute yourself. You may not know it, but I haven't washed this shirt in 2 years," Jun said.
"There's not a lot of room!" TK said, trying to find a spot.
"I know. I think all boys are cute!" Jun said. Beeping is heard and they turned around to check what was up.
"There's some kind of trouble in the Digital World!" Matt said.
"I just got an email. It's from Yolei. It says 'Emergency. Hurry back to school!' Emergency?" TK said.
"I hope Gabumon's okay!" Matt said.
The brothers took off, running, leaving Jun confused.
The brothers made it back to the computer room as Yolei is typing on the computer.
"Back off, Davis! You're making me nervous!" Yolei said.
"Can't you go any faster?" Davis asked, getting impatient.
"Alright. The gate's open. Shall we go?" Yolei asked.
Davis holds up his Digivice. He, DemiVeemon, Cody, Upamon, TK, Patamon, Kari, Gatomon, and Matt go in.

The DigiDestined arrived to the Digital World and spotted Gabumon laying unconscious on the shore.
"Gabumon!" Matt exclaimed. Hearing Matt's voice, he woke up and he saw Matt. He knew it was him despite
"Oh, Matt," Gabumon said. "Agumon wasn't kidding. You've grown, too."
"I'm happy to see you, Gabumon. Are you okay?" Matt asked.
"Let's just say, I'll never look at steamed vegetables the same way," Gabumon said.
"Okay, I want you to tell me everything that happened," Matt said.
"Good. We never talk anymore," Gabumon said.
"Hey everybody, I'm going over to Izzy's to get my Digivice back, and then I'll meet up with you there later," Yolei said.
"Have no fear while Yolei's gone. This place shall be guarded by Poromon," Poromon said.
"Stay in touch!" Davis said.
"Why do they call those thing on top of the TV rabbit ears? Why don't they call them cat ears? After all, when's the last time you say a rabbit sleeping on top of a TV?" Gatomon asked.
"This is what you think of?" Kari asked.
Gabumon is whispering to Matt as he explains what happened.
"Okay, break's over, let's get back to work!" Patamon said.
Gabumon leads the DigiDestined to the town Gabumon was occupying before the Digimon Emperor came.
"It's a small village called Santa Caria," Gabumon said.
"Cool, sounds like it's in California," Davis said.
"It was always a quiet place. Everyone minded their own business. And then, the Digimon Emperor came along!" Gabumon explained. Gatomon saw the black tower from before.
"Look! There's one of those things that scared the Gotsumon," Gatomon said.
"The Digimon Emperor calls them 'Control Spires'," Gabumon said.
"Let's so!" Davis said. He and Veemon were taking off, but Matt stopped them.
"Wait!" Matt said. Davis and Veemon stopped. "We can't just rush in there. For all you know, he's in there waiting for us, and this whole thing could be some kind of ambush."
"No problem! All we have to do is Armor Digivolve and blow them apart!" Davis said.
"It's not that simple! He might be using Digimon hostages as a sheild to protect himself!" TK said.
"TK's right! We have to find a way to rescue the hostages and make sure no one gets hurt!" Kari agreed. Davis groaned, annoyed by Kari agreeing with TK. Patamon comes back to the group.
"They're being guarded by the Vegiemon. Watch out for the Digi-sludge!" Patamon said.
"Vegiemon? Those Digimon are weaklings," Veemon said.
"Yeah, but it's RedVegiemon that we need to worry about. He's the one who made me flunk my swimming lessons," Gabumon said.
"That's the only thing he made," Armadillomon said, holding his nose.
"RedVegiemon?" Cody asked.
"RedVegiemon's the one leading the Vegiemon. Compared to him, the other Vegiemon are just sprouts," Gabumon said.
"Patamon, tell us everything you know about RedVegimon!" Matt said.
"Okay!" Patamon said.
Davis leans over to Cody and said, "Well, it looks like we're not needed here. Let's go off and do things our own way!"
"Actually, Davis, I think we should stick together," Cody said. Davis groaned again. Everyone else all follow Matt.
"Alright, I've got a plan to sneak into the prison," Matt said.
"Wait a minute!" Davis shouted. Everyone stopped and looked at Davis. "It's too dangerous! We can't take the chance that anyone, especially Kari, might get hit with that Digi-sludge!"
"No big deal," Kari assured.
"Yeah! We've been attacked by a lot worse than Digi-sludge, right Kari?" TK asked.
"Right!" Kari agreed.
"I can't even believe you're not worried about Kari's well-being, TA!" Davis accused.
"TA?" TK asked.
"He forgot how to spell TK!" Cody said.
TK, Kari, and Cody all laughed, infuriating Davis as he huffed.
The DigiDestined has put Matt's plan into practice as they end up being tied up. Veemon, Patamon, Gatomon, and Armadillomon wore fake Dark Rings to make it look like they're the Emperor's slaves. A small handful of the Vegiemon were guarding the town. They spotted them coming.
"Stop right there! Identify yourselves!" One of the Vegimon said. Gatomon approached the guards.
"It's okay! We're one of you. We caught these Digimon and their friends," Gatomon said.
"Where are you taking us?" Patamon asked
"Pipe down! You're all going to jail where you belong!" Armadillomon said. The Vegiemon laughed. "Move it, move it, move it!" The DigiDestinded had to make sure they were far away from the Vegimon and that they didn't hear them.
"Those guys didn't even notice these rings are plastic," Patamon said.
"Don't start feeling too frisky yet. Those first set of guards were just flunkies. We haven't even faced the pick of the litter! And even if we get past them, we need to figure out a way to destroy the Control Spire!" Gatomon said.
Once they reached the prison, the DigiDestined and Gabumon gets pushed in.
"Thanks for bringing the prisoners in. The Emperor will be pleased. We could have done it ourselves, but I guess you beat us to the punch!" The first Vegiemon said.
He gasped when Patamon, Veemon, Armadillomon, and Gatomon took their fake rings off.
"By the way, speaking of punch...Lightning Paw!" Gatomon shouted as she punched the Vegiemon.
The Digimon attacked the guards and made their escape with the hostages.
Patamon flew ahead of them and spotted several more guards.
"Quiet! There are more guards!" Patamon said. They saw the Vegimon were blocking their escape.
"The exit is blocked! We'll never get out now!"
"I'm tired of hiding, anyway. Let's fight!" Davis said. Davis was about to g, but Matt grabbed him by the shoulder.
"Easy there, junior! You have to learn that fighting's not the only answer. It should only be your last resort," Matt said.
"Let's go back this way. We'll come out on top, near the Control Spire!" Gabumon said.
"Good idea!" Patamon agreed.
Everyone started to make their way towards the Control Spire. Davis and Veemon stood by themselves, annoyed by the fact Davis is being ignored since he was leading the new team.
"Ugh! Why won't anyone listen to me?" Davis asked.
"What'd you say?" Veemon asked.
"Oh, Davis, I almost forgot. I saw your sister today!" TK said.
"Huh? You did?" Davis asked, surprised.
"So did I." Matt answered, joining in the conversation. "I actually signed an autograph for her."
Davis groaned. "I'm so sorry for whatever she did, Matt. She has had the biggest crush on you forever, and sometimes takes it way too far. I'm sorry that you had to meet her."
Matt dismisses with his hand, "Ah, it's cool. I've dealt with a lot of fangirls, I'm sure I can handle her. Though I won't lie, your sister is a little…interesting."
"Yeah. Interestingly annoying," Davis added with anger. "She probably had a lot of bad things to say about me, didn't she?" Davis assumed.
"Well, actually-" TK tried to explain but was cut off.
"I know. She says that I bite my toenails and spit them on the floor, that I used to suck my thumb until about a month ago, that I wet the bed every other Thursday-" Davis was cut off.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Easy Davis!" Matt held up his hands, calming Davis down. "She never said any of that. She never even mentioned you."
"She didn't even talk about me?" Davis furrows his eyebrows, annoyed. "That's even more offensive."
Kari walks over, joining in on the conversation and showing her concern for Davis along with TK and Matt.
"Davis, I don't think I ever asked about this before, but don't you and your sister get along?" Kari asked.
"No, not really." Davis answered. "I mean when we were younger, we used to be close, and I actually used to look up to her."
"What changed?" TK asked.
"I don't know." Davis answered. "Jun started getting more and more obsessed with boy bands and I was busy playing soccer. We just…started drifting apart a little more each day. I mean I did try making time to talk with her and stuff but she'd just completely shrug me off or ignore me. Then we had some argument and well…things haven't been so cool between us ever since. These days I pretty much don't exist to her. And when we do talk she pushes me around like I'm her little dog and thinks she has the right to know everything that I'm doing." Davis added with anger and annoyance in his voice.
"Maybe that's because she's worried about you Davis." Said Kari. "Older siblings always tend to ask what younger siblings are doing when they worry about them."
"Yeah, I'm sure Jun cares about you, Davis." TK assured.
"Easy for you to say," Davis retorts, looking at TK and Kari. "You two have older brothers who love you and would do anything to protect you guys if you were ever in danger. I bet if I were in danger my sister wouldn't risk her life for me one bit."
"Come on, man. I'm sure that's not true," Matt assured and Davis looks to him. "Your sister might be a little strange and you might claim you're not all the close anymore, but no matter how much you've drifted apart, siblings will always care for each other. She might not show it now, but Jun still cares about you."
"And beyond the name calling and her obsession with boy bands, you still care about her. Right, Davis?" Kari asked.
Davis looks down, unable to deny the truth in their words as he still truly does care for Jun, as much as she annoys him.
"Okay, I won't lie. As much as she annoys me, I guess I still care about Jun a little." Davis admitted but then looks away. "But as for her still caring about me, I'll believe that when I see it." Kari, Matt and TK give Davis looks of concern and sympathy. He groans and walks past them. "Look, can we just drop this! I didn't come here to talk about June! I came here to help these Gazimon and beat the Digimon Emperor! So, let's go already and not talk about my dumb sister!"
"Davis!" Veemon reaches out but Davis just ignores, leaving his partner worried along with TK, Matt and Kari. Veemon thought, "I've never seen Davis so upset before. I've got to cheer him up. I know!" He spoke out loud, "Knock-knock!" Davis just glared at his partner. It was clear he wasn't in the mood for jokes.
"Leave me alone!" Davis snapped at his partner. Veemon felt hurt.
"Davis, I..." Veemon said.
Veemon honestly didn't know what to do, but he didn't want to risk making it worse than it already is. But he knew he had to do something about it.
The group made it right across a cliff.
"How do we get down from here?" TK asked.
"There's no way to do it! It's too steep!"
If only we had a rope or something to climb down," Matt said.
"I'll go look for one!" Gabumon said.
"Wait! We'll just hold onto each other and you can climb down the bunny slope. Our way of saying thanks!" One of the Gazimon said.
"That'd be great! Okay, let's go!" Gabumon said.
Gabumon and 2 of the Gazimon were about to get their plan into effect when they're sudden;y pelted by Digi-sludge. (That is gross) It was RedVegimon and his Vegiemon posse coming up.
"Ha! No one's going anywhere!" RedVegimon said.
"Alright, Davis, it's time for action! I'm gonna take that overgrown tomato and make him into vegetable soup! I'll make vegetarians around the world proud! That should cheer you up!"
Davis: But...
"Vee Headbutt!" Veemon shouted as he ran towards RedVegimon, but he hits him with his spiky limb.
"And now for a side dish: Chili Pepper Pummel!" RedVegimon shouted as he fired chili peppers from his mouth, pelting Veemon.
"Veemon! Armor Digivolve!" Davis called out.
"Yeah!" Cody agreed, but the Vegimon grabbed them all with their vine-like arms Patamon flew in, trying to help Veemon, but RedVegimon fired chili peppers from his mouth, hitting Patamon. He fell to the ground, beaten. Some of the Vegimon has grabbed TK and Kari.
"Stink Jet!" RedVegiemon shouted as he spewed a foul-smelling aroma from his mouth. Matt, Gabumon, Gatomon, Armadillomon, and the Gazimon covered their noses, not wanting to breathe in the foul smell. Taking advantage of their disposition, the Vegiemon grabbed them. RedVegimon lifts Veemon up in the air.
"Put me down, or I'll toss you like a salad!" Veemon demanded.
"In case you've forgotten, I have the upper hand, here!" RedVegiemon said. He slammed Veemon down on the ground, hard.
"Veemon!" Davis exclaimed. Hearing his voice, Veemon opened his eyes.
"The key to good cooking is to always tenderize thoroughly, like so," RedVegiemon said. RedVegiemon starts beating him senselessly.
"Is that the best you've got?" Veemon asked.
"Are you kidding? We're just getting started! How do you feel about flying?" RedVegiemon asked, punching Veemon in the face.
"I can't watch this!" Gabumon said.
"Veemon doesn't stand a chance against him!" Matt said.
"Veemon! I'm coming!" Davis said, struggling to walk, but the Vegiemon were making it difficult for him. None of the others could bare to watch as Veemon was taking so much abuse from RedVegiemon.
"Combine all your ingredients into a bowl. Next, stir. Blend. Mix. Frappe. And voila! The first course! And now, the entrée!" RedVegiemon said, beating Veemon again and again and again. Veemon gets on his knees.
"No matter what you do, I'll never give up! I have to try my best to cheer Davis up!" Veemon said.
Dais thought, "This whole thing is my fault. Veemon is doing this just for me!" Davis stood up on his feet and he shouted out loud. "Veemon! You can stop now! I'm happy! I'm happy, I'm happy!"
"You are?" Veemon asked. RedVegiemon punched Veemon while distracted, but also punched the Control Spire. RedVegiemon laughed
"Leave him alone, now! You hear me? He's had enough!" Davis said.
"I don't doubt he feeling a little full. But he must have saved room for dessert! And I've cooked up a sweet surprise!" RedVegiemon said.
"If only I could Digivolve!" Gabumon said.
"There must be a way!" Matt said.
"But how?" Gabumon asked.
RedVegiemon gave Veemon another punch, cracking the Control Spire even further.
"Veemon!" Davis exclaimed.
"Now, here's the surprise I promised you: A double-helping of Spiked Punch!" RedVegiemon shouted.
"Veemon!" Davis shouted.
"Duck!" Matt shouted.
"Now!" Gabumon shouted.
Veemon ducked his head just time time as RedVegiemon punched the Control Spire instead. Static electricity emits from the Control Spire. Matt's Digivice started to shine, making the Vegiemon let go. Gabumon then started to Digivolve.

A blue beam of light pours from the top of the Digi-zone and forms the image of Garurumon that soon disappears. Gabumon gains his data and spins in the Digi-zone.

"What?!" RedVegiemon exclaimed, shocked by how Gabumon Digivolved. Garurumon growled at the red vegetable.
"Gabumon, how did you Digivolve?" Matt asked. Garurumon snarled, scaring the Vegiemon. They started to flee, freeing their captives. Davis looked right at his Digivice.
"Howling Blaster!" Garurumon roared, firing his attack on the Vegiemon.
The D-terminal extends."Digi Armor Energize!" Davis shouted.The DigiEgg of Courage comes out.

Veemon fuses with the DigiEgg and is engulfed by rings of fire that take shape as images of Agumon and all of his Digivolutions appear. Out of the fire, claws extend from his fists and then a spike from his helmet.

RedVegiemon fired his Chili Pepper Pummel at Flamedramon, but he blocked it with his claws.
"Flame fist!" Flamedramon shouted, punching RedVegiemon.
"Boy, am I glad to see you, Flamedramon! It's time for a little payback! I think we should give this overgrown houseplant a REAL cooking lesson! Flamedramon, get him!" Davis said. Flamedramon prepares to fight.
"You want a piece of me?" RedVegiemon asked as he attempts to punch Flamedramon with his spiked limbs, but Flamedramon blocked his assault. Flamedramon slams RedVegiemon down on the ground, repeatedly.
"That hurt," RedVegiemon groaned.
"Fire Rocket!" Flamedramon shouted, firing his attack. Flames engulfs RedVegiemon.
"I've heard of grilled vegetables before, but this is ridiculous before!" RedVegiemon said, falling on his back.
...
"You did it!" Davis praised his partner.
"Davis!" Yolei shouted. He saw Yolei, Tai, Izzy, Agumon, and the Gotsumon run up to the rest of the group. Tai and Agumon stopped when they saw Garurumon with their own eyes.
"Garurumon!" Tai exclaimed.
"How were you able to Digivolve?" Agumon asked.
"I'm not quite sure," Garurumon said.
"You know what I think? When RedVegiemon's punch cracked the Control Spire, we were freed from its power," Patamon deduced.
"They're certainly going to need a lot of glue," Hawkmon said.
"We need to destroy this control spire once and for all, and who better to do the job then Digmon?" Armadillomon suggested.
"Yeah!" Cody agreed.
The D-terminal extends.
"Digi Armor Energize!" Cody shouted.

Armadillomon quickly fuses with the Digi-egg and is engulfed by rings of rocks that take shape as images of Tentomon and all of his Digivolutions appear.

"Rock Cracking!" Digmon shouted as he drills into the Control Spire. It goes down like a tree in the forest. "Sorry, I forgot to yell 'Timber!'"
With the Control Spire destroyed, RedVegiemon and the Vegiemon were freed from the Digimon Emperor's control. RedVegiemon woke up, not remembering what happened.
"Woah...did I get married while I was asleep?" RedVegiemon asked, taking off his disabled Dark Ring. The Vegiemon took off their Dark Rings as well.
"Oh, now I see how it works!" Yolei said. Hawkmon flew up to her.
"May I enquire as to what you are talking about?" Hawkmon asked.
"The spire. It acted like an electricity rod. The Digmon Emperor set it up to send out power to all the Dark Rings, making it possible for him to control all the Digimon throughout the area. Isn't that right, Izzy?" Yolei asked.
"Yeah! I'm very impressed with your theory, Yolei," Izzy said.
"I wonder how many more Control Spires there are scattered around the Digital World," Tai said.
"Well, whatever the number, one thing we know for sure is that they have to be destroyed. Quite a task for the new DigiDestined, don't you think?" Matt asked.
"Leave it to us! We can handle it!" TK said.
"You've said it!" Davis agreed.
"I guess someone should take the Gotsumon back to their homes now," Agumon said.
"I'm all over it!" Gatomon said.
"Come on, I'll lead the way!" Tai said.
"I'm right behind you, big brother!" Kari said.
The Kamiya siblings and their Digimon partners went off to take the Gotsumon to their homes. Matt rides on Garurumon's back.
"Garurumon will stay here to protect you guys from the emperor," Matt said.
"Garurumon!" The Gazimon cheered.
After an exciting mission, the DigiDestined have returned except for Tai, Kari, and Gatomon.
"I'm glad the Gotsumon aren't staying with us anymore. Everytime they touched my CD's, they scratched them!" Yolei said.
"And they clog the sink when they brush their teeth!" Cody added.
"They were kinda cool, though," Davis said.
"Hey everyone, I really think you should take a look at this!" Izzy said, showing everyone the map of the Digital World.
"Wow, what is that?" Yolei asked.
"I found it when I was examining your Digivice, Yolei. It seems to be a map of the Digital World! See this white square? It used to be black, until we destroyed the Control Spire there. Unfortunately, there are a lot of black squares left, and they all have spires," Izzy said.
"Gee, Izzy, it's going take a long time to turn all those black squares into white ones," Cody said.
"And how do we know he won't build new spires?" Davis asked.
Back in the Digital World, Agumon has Digivolved into Greymon and rammed a Control Spire, freeing the area from the Digimon Emperor's control.
"They don't make Control Spires like they used to," Greymon said.
"Way to go, Greymon! You're a one mon wrecking crew!" Tai said, giving his partner a thumbs up.
The Digimon Emperor is supervising the map of the Digital World.
"What? A Control Spire was destroyed? Must be those meddling kids. Oh, well. It doesn't really matter. That area was pretty unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Within a year, I'll have every area under my full control. And then, finally every living thing in the Digital World will become my slave. That includes those kids, too," the Digimon Emperor laughed. Wormmon looked at him, worried.
