Chapter 91 Getting Married?!
Ichika's POV
The Next Day
I opened the front door of the Tenma household, where I was greeted by my friends.
"Shiho, Honami", I greeted. "Please come in."
With that, Shiho and Honami walked inside and into the living, where they were met with Tsukasa.
"Greetings, Shiho and Honami", he greeted.
"Hello, Tsukasa-San", Honami greeted. "I'm glad to see that you're doing better."
"Why did you ask us to meet you here", Shiho asked.
"Before I get into that", Tsukasa started. "I first want to thank you for being okay with Ichika coming with me to New York,. And…I'm sorry for taking her away from you two."
"You're not taking her away from us, Tsukasa-San", Honami reassured. "Being with you makes her so happy, and Ichika's happiness is what matters most to us."
"Yeah", Shiho agreed. "So you'd better take care of her. If you don't, we're gonna come to New York and bring her back!"
"Do not worry", Tsukasa reassured. "I'll take care of Ichika. I promise. Now then, there's something else I wanted to discuss with you two."
"Which is", Shiho asked.
Then…Tsukasa got onto the ground and bowed down in front of my friends.
"Shiho and Honami, please allow me to marry Ichika!"
When Tsukasa said this, Shiho and Honami looked at him in shock.
"Marriage", the latter asked.
"Why are you asking us for permission", Shiho asked. "We're not Ichika's parents, you know?"
"But you are her dearest friends", Tsukasa pointed out. "It wouldn't feel right to marry her without checking if you guys are okay with it!"
"Well", Honami started. "I'm more than happy with Ichika marrying you, Tsukasa-San!"
"Me too", Shiho added.
"Thank you so much, Shiho and Honami", Tsukasa said as he got off of the ground.
"You're very welcome", Honami replied. "Now then, when are you two getting married?"
"Actually", Tsukasa started. "Now that I have gotten the okay from you two, we can head over to city hall to hand in our marriage certificate!"
"Wait", Shiho started. "You mean right now?"
"Yes", Tsukasa replied. "If there's one thing I've realized lately, it's that things can be taken away from you in an instant. Therefore, if there's something you really want to do, you shouldn't put off doing it!"
"I see", Honami said. "Still, this is such an important moment for you two. I feel like we should make it a little more special."
"A little more special", I repeated. "How?"
"Let me think", Honami started, before doing just that. "Oh, I know! Ichika-Chan, why don't we get you a nice outfit?"
"A nice outfit", I asked.
"Yes", Honami replied. "Even if you don't wear an actual wedding dress, I'm sure we can find you something that makes you look more like a bride!"
After hearing this, I thought about it for a moment.
"Okay", I said. "Then let's go get me an outfit."
"Great", Honami said, before grabbing onto my hand. "I'm sorry, Tsukasa-San, but are you okay with waiting just a little longer?
"That depends", Tsukasa started. "How much longer?"
"How about we meet you at city hall later this afternoon", Honami suggested.
"Very well", Tsukasa replied. "I've waited a long time for this. I can wait a few more hours."
