"The Truth"

Jumping to the Umbran Clock Tower, Bayonetta was happy to fight alongside her mother. They landed in front of the Clock Tower as the armies of angels and witches were fighting each other. Affinities surrounding the Clock Tower Phantom shot some in the head Bayonetta shot an angel that was sneaking up behind Phantom. "Thanks mate." Phantom said.

Phantom spotted Kinships coming "More Kinships coming in!" Phantom said.

The Kinships blasted at the witches but Phantom used a giant cannon to destroy them. The angels fall back but Temperantia appeared "This guy again?! I'm really getting tired of fighting angels!" Phantom said.

The three work together to fight the giant angel. Once the angel was defeated they looked at the Umbran Clock Tower which was destroyed "The symbol of the Umbran way..." Rosa was shocked of the Clock Tower's destruction.

"No... There's no way that this could have been his plan!" Rosa said.

The angels fired at them Phantom ran off the cliff while Bayonetta grabbed her mother and pushed them both off the cliff. They landed on falling debris and they continued their battle against the angels. "Hey boss this reminds me of a dream I had!" Phantom said.

"What dream?" Bayonetta asked.

"It was you and Jeanne fighting angels in a position a lot like this!" Phantom said.

A Inspired tore the debris apart separating Rosa from the two. Bayonetta and Phantom ended up on a piece of the Clock Tower Bayonetta felt something coming she dodged it Phantom pointed his gun behind him it was Loki but in blue colors which raised an eyebrow from Phantom "S-sorry, love! I kinda missed a bit there." Loki said.

"Little one?" Bayonetta asked.

"Here to guide you as always." Loki said.

"Someone send you back 500 years it seems." Loki said.

Bayonetta kicked debris right at him as she knew something wasn't right about this Loki. "I see you've already discovered the truth. They don't call you the Left Eye for naught, do they?" the pretender asked.

"You're the blue spirit guy running around with Balder aren't you?" Phantom asked.

"Your apprentice is quite skillful at discovering truths isn't he?" the pretender commented on Phantom's skills.

"But something more important to talk about, my dear. The witch and the sage are still alive... Trifling creatures, both of them. I must be rid of them as soon as possible." he said.

"I want what they have. I want back what is mine. The Eyes of the World." he said.

"What!?" Bayonetta asked.

"The other me escaped to the future, and I can't let him have them. Which is why I must see you eliminated, my dear!" the pretender vow to kill them.

"I think we found your evil counterpart." Phantom said.

The two fought Loptr and he exhibited the same powers as his future self. He brought a giant meteor to crash down on them but Bayonetta summons Madama Butterfly to counter this. The fight was too much as Loptr escaped but the two heroes were inquired.

In the present day Luka found the Gates "If I got it right, then this gate should lead to..." Luka said as he put his hand on the Gates.

Loki appeared behind the Gates and fell to the ground. "H-hey, pull yourself together!" Luka exclaimed.

"What happened!?" Luka asked.

"Luka, was it? You know the way to Fimbulventr, right? Please... Take me there..." Loki demanded.

"I... I remember. I remember everything. I have to hurry." Loki said.

"Are you nuts, kid!?" Loki asked.

"We need to get you patched up." he said.

"There's no time! Please, take me to Fimbulventr, or the world... will end!" Loki said.

"He and I... We are Good... and Evil... Evil cannot be all that is left..." Loki referenced himself and Lotpr.

"What?" Luka asked.

Loki handed him the card with the hole in it "Keep us safe with this... It's my trump card... Please, just take me there..." Loki begged.

He passed out "Girls passing out in front of me, I'm used to... But this, this is unbelievable." Luka said.

"Well, I guess it beats addicting toddlers to lollipops." Luka mentioned the time he fed Cereza to lollipops which became her future self.

Back in the past Bayonetta and Phantom recovered from their battle and found themselves in the Sunrise & Crescent Valleys.

They found the Umbran Training grounds and ran into Balder they entered the training grounds and found several dead witches Rosa was included as Loptr killed her. "We're too late." Phantom sadly said.

"Rosa!" Balder said.

He attempted to strike Lotpr down but the villain dodged it he disappeared into the shadows with Loki's face.

"You saw the emblem on his forehead. He's the one you're really after." Bayonetta said.

"What?" Balder asked in confusion.

This reminded Phantom of when Luka believed Bayonetta killed his father. "We need to get back to my time. We can open a portal from here." Bayonetta said.

She jumped to the ceiling and placed her watch on it "Balder! The dimensional portal is opening! We need to get back to my time!" Bayonetta told him.

But Balder was too saddened by Rosa's death Quickly! There's no time!" Bayonetta said.

Rosa opened her eyes "Balder, please take care of Cereza... Our dear, sweet child will awaken to her potential... She will awaken to the Eyes of the World..." Rosa said her final words as she placed her hand on Balder's face and passed away.

Balder jumped to join Bayonetta and Phantom. Bayonetta looked at her mother one last time "Mummy..." she said under her breath and teleported to the future.

The past version of Cereza and Jeanne made it to find Rosa's body. "Mummy! No!" Cereza said.

She rushed over to her mother's body.
