The first kingdom that the group went to first, was the Seaside Kingdom. It was home to the Bubblainians, a species of snail creatures that live around the region of Bubblaine.
"Well, this is our first kingdom.", Penny said, checking her GPS, "The Seaside Kingdom.". "It looks as sandy, and as gorgeous, since my last visit.", Mario said, as he decided to wear sandals when visiting this kingdom.
"It's too hot here.", Lincoln said, to which Penny said, "That's a beach, for ya.". "Well, at least we're just passing by.", Lucy said, "It's not like we come across some giant octopus trying to squirt us with goo.".
Suddenly, there were ripples in the water, and out popped out a huge octopus, with a mustache, and a beard. "You rang?", the octopus said in a French Accent.
"Mollusque-Lanceur!", Mario said, "I thought I've defeated you to regain one of those Multi Moon!". "Oui, you did.", Mollusque, "But you do know, that we Gushens always fight back!".
"Gushens?", Lincoln said, "You mean you're like those small octopus creatures we saw in the water?". "Oui, oui, little brat.", Mollusque said, "But that attitude will become your last, as I will clobber you with my tentacles!". "Oh,", Lincoln said, "Did I just made him mad?".
"Yes, you did.", Lucy said, "I say we fight back.". "Fight back?!", Lincoln said, "We don't know how to beat up a giant fancy octopus!". "I've beaten him before.", Mario said, "So I will tell you this...".
"We need to extinguish the lava on it's head.", Mario said, with Penny saying, "And I think I know just the thing!". "Of course.", Mario said, as Penny pulled out a water sprayer backpack. "I remember this, it's F.L.U.D.D.".
"Lincoln,", Penny said, "We need you to use FLUDD to put out the lava.". "Once that part is done, Ashley and I will give you the signal, and with this Rock Mushroom, you roll from the cliffs, and land on that Gushen's head.", she concluded.
"Okay, let's do it!", Luigi said, who was reverted back to normal, because a Gushen attacked him before.
Meanwhile, at the castle, Lana was in a guest bedroom, which was made exclusively for her. She was looking out the window, and noticed the setting sun.
"I wish I could go on an adventure.", Lana said, "I want to be a hero too.". Some of the other Toads heard about this, and they decided if it is a good idea, to let Lana join the adventuring group to the Kong Kingdom.
"We've been hearing from our guest, that she's really alone.", one of the Toads said, "She keeps thinking about being a hero.". "Well, unfortunately,", Peach said, "I can't just let her go with them.".
"But...", another Toad said, "Princess.". "I won't hear another word! The reason I don't want her to go with them is because she might get captured by Bowser as well.", Peach interrupted, "My decision is final!".
Lana overheard all of this, and she said, "I'm not little, I wanna save my twin sister.". Most of the Toads, who were by Lana's room overheard this as well, and they said, "You have to stay here.".
Back in the Seaside Kingdom, Mollusque was about to prepare for his battle against the group. Lucy was now using the Rock Mushroom, and she turned into a giant rock with black crystals gleaming inside. Lincoln was with Mario, to which they are going to extinguish the lava.
"Okay, when I say 'Now!', we all push!", Penny said, and Ashley said, "Sure.". "Okay Lincoln, let's a-go!", Mario said, as he and Lincoln started the battle.
"Move out of the way!", Lucy said, "Giant rock coming through!". Most of the smail creatures just hid in their shells, while others just noticed the whole battle from a safe distance.
Using FLUDD, Lincoln sprayed on the top of the Gushen's head, while at the same time, avoiding his attacks. Mario, who used Cappy to turn into a Gushen, flew over Mollusque's head, and sprayed water, until the vulnerable scalp is visible.
"Now!", Penny shouted, as she, Ashley, and Luigi, all pushed Lucy down the hill. "This is getting a bit bumpy!", Lucy said, as she tried to roll down the hill. "Incoming!", she soon shouted, which caused Mario to get out of the way, and for Lucy to land straight on Mollusque's head.
Mollusque's head was now all inflated, marking his defeat. "Sacre Bleu!", the gushen said, "I will return! After I get some aspirin.". "That was incredible, Lucy!", Lincoln said, "You rock!". "That's funny, Lincoln!", Penny and Luigi said, as they both laughed, but Ashley said, "I don't get it.".
"Well, we've defeated a huge octopus creature.", Lincoln said, "And Mario said that we should use FLUDD more often.". "So, where to next?", Luigi said, and Penny said that there are two more kingdoms close by that would take them to Kong Kingdom the fastest.
"First, we go through Wooded Kingdom, and then Snow Kingdom, before eventually reaching Kong Kingdom.", Penny said, looking at her GPS. "Then let's get moving!", Lincoln said, as Lucy interrupted, "Uh, is this rock suit permanent?".
"Oh, sorry.", Penny said, using an invention of hers to deactivate Lucy's Rock Mushroom powers. "Anyways,", Penny said, "Next stop, Wooded Kingdom!".
