Chapter Eleven: Revelations

~A/N~ Chapter Eleven is out. I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter Start!

~U.A. Nezu's Office~

"I'm not sure how to start," Izuku said as he inspected Miruko. She looked incredibly frail and tired. But even as exhausted as she looked he could still see a fire in her eyes.

"The hell you mean by that?" Miruko asked.

"I believe that Midoriya-san is used to having a spot to focus on when healing. Cancer doesn't have that in the same sense," Nezu stated.

"Yeah. Broken leg, missing organs, severed arm, ruptured stomach, cracked skulls. Those all had a spot where I could focus my healing," Izuku explained.

"Well it's all over so just pick a spot," Miruko snapped. Izuku could tell she had no real desire to be at U.A. nor did she believe he could heal her.

"Ok," Izuku stepped up. "Lay on the mat and pull your shirt up enough to leave your stomach exposed," He added with a bit of authority hoping she would just listen to him.

"Fine, but if you try to cop a feel I'll break your arm," Miruko snapped.

"It would heal just as fast as you break it," Izuku returned as Miruko laid on the mat. Once she was situated Izuku knelt beside her. He gently placed his hands on the sick hero's exposed belly.

The moment he tried to pull on his powers something changed. His gaze moved up and his eyes started to glow.

~The Final Home~

"You've learned well little brother," Sabriel said with a smile on her face as she stood over Izuku. The green-haired boy was panting lightly as he pulled his hands away from a formerly wounded combatant.

"Your praise is appreciated sister," Izuku replied with a red face. He still wasn't used to being praised.

"If you can master this final art you'll be viable for Ascension," Sabriel said as she led Izuku over to another combatant.

"What's the art?" Izuku asked.

"The most powerful blessing a follower of the Passion of Healing can give," Sabriel replied as she opened her hand and a glowing rune appeared.

"A rune of healing?" Izuku asked.

"It is the Mark of Rejuvenation or just 'Mark' for short. It was what I created to achieve the rank of First Ascended. With the creation of The Mark of Rejuvenation, we gained the ability to heal all," Sabriel explained.

"What couldn't we heal?" Izuku asked.

"Disease and Sickness," Sabriel replied. "Before The Mark, we could only heal the physical wounds. But diseases still defeated our brothers and sisters. The Mark fixed that. Colds, Flus, Cancers, Infections, Plagues, and all the like were healable,"

"So If I can learn how to create this mark I'll be able to heal the sick?" Izuku asked.

"Correct you'll also finish my training, become viable for Ascension, and gain the right to pursue another Passion," Sabriel stated.

"Where do I start," Izuku asked.

"The same place you started with all your healing. In practice and in study," Sabriel replied a soft smile coming to her face.

"I'll begin right away," Izuku said with fiery determination in his eyes.

~U.A.~

Izuku's eyes snapped back to normal and he smiled. He removed a hand from Miruko's stomach and closed his eyes. He pulled on the healing power in his blood. His blood obeyed and his hand started to glow. Light filtered out of his clenched fist. Far brighter than expected. So bright that everyone who watched had to avert their eyes. Everyone save for Izuku.

"With this Mark, I grace your tattered body. With this Mark, I grace your weakened soul. With this Mark, I grace your shattered will. With this Mark, you are reborn," Izuku chanted slowly before he slapped his hand down. The mark touched Miruko's body and vanished. The sick hero's body reacted a moment later. A gasp of shock just escaped Miruko's lips as she felt the power surge through her. It wasn't a feeling she could put into words. It was like liquid fire was rushing through her veins but it didn't hurt. She could swear her muscles were tearing yet she felt no pain. It was without a doubt the greatest pain she had ever felt in her life and at the same time, she had never felt better.

In the span of seconds, everything shifted for Rumi. She felt strong again. Like she hadn't been dying at all. She jumped to her feet taking in her healed form. "You... you did it," Rumi said in disbelief. A soft thud was all she got in response.

"Midoriya!" Nezu shouted jumping from his desk.

"Kid," Rumi dropped checking on the unconscious boy.

"He's breathing," Nezu sighed in relief. "Whatever he did must have taken a lot more out of him than expected,"

"What do you mean?" Hawks asked. "I thought he'd healed way more before,"

"He's only ever healed physical wounds. He's never dealt with something like cancer before. He's also never done that chat before nor has his hand ever glowed like that," Nezu explained.

"I'm ok," Izuku said quietly sitting up and shaking his head.

"What was that?" Nezu asked.

"I summoned the Mark of Rejuvenation," Izuku answered.

"Summoned?" Nezu asked.

"Yeah... I need to have a meeting with you, Mom, and the others as soon as possible," Izuku stated.

"I'll get it set up right away," Nezu responded.

~U.A Medical Ward~

All he knew was pain. His body hurt at all hours. None of the medicine Recovery Girl offered made the pain fade. He didn't know what he had done to deserve this pain. A spike of pain snapped him awake. A weak cry escaped his lips as he grabbed onto himself.

"Take your medicine. I know it doesn't seem like it but it's helping," Recovery Girl's voice spoke out from her desk. She didn't like seeing how much pain the young man was in. But sadly there was nothing more she could do. Nezu had refused to let Midoriya heal Mineta. Stating something along the lines of abusing his quirk. Chiyo agreed but it didn't mean she had to like it.

"I wish this pain would stop," Minoru whined as he laid back.

"I'm sorry for your pain. But it is good that you've woken up. The detective should be here soon," Recovery Girl said as she left her desk and came over to Minoru. The once barely three-and-a-half foot tall boy was now just under four foot seven. His once perfectly circular hair had become more like actual hair. Looking more like a thick mess of curls rather than balls.

As if on cue a soft knock came on the door. "Speak of the devil," Minoru joked before he groaned in pain.

"Come in," Chiyo called out. Sure enough, Detective Tsukauchi stepped in.

"Ah you're awake," Tsukauchi said with a smile. "How are you feeling?"

"Like hell... but getting better," Minoru answered.

"Well, I have good news... and bad news," Tsukauchi stated.

"What's the bad news?" Minoru asked.

"Your uncle vanished. When we went to arrest him he wasn't home. We've not been able to find a single trace of where he went," Tsukauchi explained.

"Figures. What's the good news?" Minoru asked as he laid back.

"The good news is with the search of your uncle's house we were able to find five drop locations for both Squeeze and Blank. So small condolence in that we've removed a lot of the drugs from the streets for the foreseeable future," Tsukauchi explained.

"I'll take that as a win," Minoru said resting his head back.

"On a side note. Neither of your parents were all that tall. So in hopes, your pain will subside soon," Tsukauchi said with a hopeful smile.

"Finger's crossed," Minoru said with another groan.

"Get some rest deary," Chiyo said with her no-arguing voice.

~Nezu's Office: One Hour Later~

Izuku sat trying to figure out how to best word what he was about to explain. How could he explain that he didn't have a quirk? That his powers came from another realm. A realm he had spent an unknown amount of time in.

"Whenever you are ready," Nezu said calmly knowing Izuku was probably going in circles in his mind.

"I only mentioned this briefly to Recovery Girl," Izuku started. "But I've been having what I thought were dreams of another realm. But now I know they are memories,"

"Memories?" Inko asked.

"I remember laying on the ground after I jumped. Then fragments. Bits and pieces here and there," Izuku continued. "But today was the first time it happened while I was awake. I remembered studying and training in this realm of winged people. Ascended they called themselves. I became one of them. It's why I have these wings. It's why I can heal people. I followed the Passion of Healing. I Ascended when I learned how to perform the very thing I did to Miruko today,"

"So why did you collapse when I used my quirk on you?" Shouta asked.

"I don't know," Izuku replied. "Maybe I'm not fully here? Maybe part of me is still in that other realm?" he pondered.

"What does this mean now?" Inko asked.

"Information like this is dangerous to just spread around. I suggest we continue to treat this power as a quirk," Nezu stated.

"That seems like a safe idea," Shota agreed.

"I understand," Izuku said.

"Now sadly we need to have another conversation," Nezu stated.

"What now?" Shota asked.

"One moment," Nezu said before pressing his intercom. "Yagi-san. To my office, if you please,"

"What do we need All Might for?" Inko asked.

"It's about time you are brought in on a closely kept secret," Nezu said in a dark tone.

~End Notes~ I hope you enjoyed the chapter. Sorry, it took so long to get out. I've just not had a lot of drive to write at all lately. Also yeah no update for Demonic Academia. Hit a hard wall with that one. So I figured I'd at least update this once since I had the chapter mostly done.

P.S. Yes I'm completely revamping Mineta for this fic.
