High in the sky, Tarot Chariot and three Shatrix soared their way straight to the School Festival on top of a giant magic card at fast speed. Tarot Chariot carried Nico in her arms as Nico enjoyed the rushing wind with a smile.
"We'll be there soon, ladies!" Tarot Chariot shouted to the Shatrix.
Solaria, Rhina, and Estrella looked at the School Festival schedule in the pamphlet book. Solaria wore a red form-fitting, mini-length dress and red ankle-high boots. Rhina wore a blue form-fitting, mini-length dress and blue ankle-high boots. Estrella wore a green form-fitting, mini-length dress and green ankle-high boots.
"Alright, let's see." Rhina said. "Class A is having a live performance at 10AM."
"Then, Class B's having a play after them." Solaria said. "Oh, they even have a beauty pageant."
"A beauty pageant?" Estrella smiled haughtily. She snatched the pamphlet book right of out of Rhina's hands. "Now, that's what I'm talking about."
Rhina and Solaria looked at their oldest sister with puzzled faces.
"Excited to see Luna's dance moves, Nico?" Tarot Chariot asked, looking at Nico with a smile.
Nico nodded his head in agreement.
At U.A. High, All Might stared at Izuku and Luna's permission slips in his hands inside his office.
"Good morning, All Might." Midnight greeted.
"Morning!" All Might greeted back.
Midnight then noticed Izuku and Luna's permission slips in All Might's hands.
"What do we have here?" Midnight asked as she started reading Izuku and Luna's permission slips. "Permission to leave the campus? This morning?"
"Yeah, they said there was something they had to buy before their concert, so they headed down the mountain." All Might explained.
"But we're just about to kick things off. That's cutting it pretty close. I hope they're not doing anything too naughty." Midnight wondered worriedly.
Meanwhile, Luna continued propelling herself through the air with the support of her pink triquetra-shaped energy symbols at full speed. She looked down over her shoulder and saw Nefertari skating after her below just as she soared over the forest area that encircled UA High.
She's on my trail. Luna thought. She looked up to see her high school. At least, she's not infiltrating the school. If I could get her somewhere close to the security gate, then the heroes will arrive to back me up.
Luna's eyes suddenly caught a familiar green-haired student that she didn't expect flying through the air across from her.
Is that Midoriya? Luna exclaimed. She watched as Izuku was charging towards the direction of a familiar refined-looking man holding a very short young woman in his arms at great speed. And is that…Gentle? That villain from the video? And who's that woman he's carrying? If Midoriya's going after them, there's no doubt those villains are planning to infiltrate the school! If that happens, the School Festival would be cancelled!
Nefertari's tessen fan started glowing with yellow energy. She swayed her tessen and fired a large glowing yellow blade of energy at Luna, knocking the UA student down out of the sky. But Luna recovered and landed safely in the forest.
Nefertari then lunged at Luna from above. With rapid swings, she unleashed several large yellow blades of energy straight at Luna and then summoned a large yellow hexagonal shield for protection.
Luna successfully darted past Nefertari's energy waves and rushed right behind Nefertari, who quickly noticed with shocking eyes. Nefertari whirled her tessen and fired a barrage of yellow arrow-shaped energy projectiles straight towards Luna all at once, but Luna zigzagged past the incoming yellow energized arrows with remarkable speed. Nefertari attacked the dodging Luna with more yellow arrow-shaped energy projectiles.
Then, Luna delivered a barrage of pink energy blasts that forced the villainess to backflip away.
With a desperate face, Nefertari created a large yellow hexagonal shield, protecting herself from Luna's barraging pink energy blasts.
It would appear that I have underestimated this child. Nefertari thought.
"Give up already, Nefertari! It's over!" Luna ordered.
I will not. Be defeated. By a high school student! Nefertari cried out.
Suddenly, a yellow aura began to emit out of Nefertari's tessen.
Luna saw the glowing yellow aura in alert and stopped firing her energy blasts.
"Wh-what's going on?" Luna asked with a confused face.
Nefertari jumped high in the air and then looked down at Luna with narrow eyes. She spun herself and formed a yellow horde of bladed butterflies flying around her in circles from her tessen.
"Tessen Butterflies!" Nefertari yelled.
Nefertari aimed her tessen forward, sending the energized butterflies to rush straight towards Luna.
With great speed, Luna evaded the homing butterflies while blasting them with her Quirk at the same time. But only five energized butterflies successfully bombarded her, sending her to roll and collide to a nearby tree on the grassy ground.
"It's over, child." Nefertari said. She rushed towards Luna and prepared to strike with her blazing tessen. "This time, victory will be mine!"
When Nefertari reached Luna, the UA student immediately sprang up in the air. Nefertari halted from running as Luna landed few feet behind her.
"Lady, I've fought a lot of villains who are faster and stronger than you." Luna informed. "I wasn't planning to lose against them and I'm not planning to lose against you!"
Nefertari stared at Luna with an utterly shocked face.
Luna prepared to fire her Quirk at the stunned villainess.
"This isn't over until I say it's over!" Luna declared.
Back in UA High, Present Mic sat in front of a microphone inside an unidentified room.
"Good morning, UA!" Present Mic announced over the speakers. "Yeah! Prep work is all done and it's time to rock! Let's get this party going! It you can hear my voice, get out there and have fun! Let me hear you make some noise!"
At 9:00 AM, Luna has approximately sixty minutes until Class 1-A's band performance.
"The UA School Festival starts now!" Present Mic cried out.
Outside, Houng Dog walked through the forest and then picked up a suspicious scent.
At the same time, a blue-coded Machina sprinted through the streets as Celena rode on her back. The marionette machine has short navy-blue metallic hair and wore a skintight blue bodysuit with separate black sleeves.
Meanwhile, Luna jumped upward and quickly fired pink energy bolts at Nefertari's hexagonal shield one by one from her hands.
No way! Nefertari thought with a shocked expression. How is this even impossible? She could still fight after I gave everything I've got!
Nefertari vanished her hexagonal shield and the jumped up towards Luna. The UA student and the villainess traded ferocious blows with their Quirks at each other. Nefertari landed on the grass from the distance while Luna landed and looked at the villainess.
Luna then boosted herself towards Nefertari with great speed while Nefertari closed her tessen and slammed it on the ground.
"Tessen Cobra!" Nefertari yelled.
As soon as Luna was mere inches away from Nefertari, a large cobra head made of yellow energy arose from the ground and opened its mouth. It gobbled Luna whole and imprisoned her inside.
"Are you ready that willing to kidnap a high school student for some major villain who has zero chance on giving you what you want?" Luna demanded. She pounded her fists into the wall of a cobra head. "If you're not here to disrupt the school, then what goal are you trying your best to achieve?"
"You're UA student, right? You should know what it's like to have a precious dream that you've worked so hard to earn." Nefertari yelled. "You remember Uwabami? The Snake Hero?"
"Yeah. What about her?" Luna asked, stopping pounding the wall for a minute.
"I was once a celebrity just like her." Nefertari said as she looked at the snake symbol on her tessen fan. "While she reigns in television, I dominate the modeling world."
Nefertari deeply recalled her younger days. During a fashion show, she walked on the catwalk and showed off her off the shoulder marigold yellow wrap dress with ruffled cold shoulder sleeves.
"Back then, I was once a beautiful model." Nefertari narrated. "A spokesmodel, to be exact. My name and face was just about everywhere, beautifying every fashion magazine all over Japan."
Nefertari strutted stylish poses with various different clothes through the silky soft pages and elegant covers of fashion magazines.
"My spokesmodel career caught the attention of major companies, especially Uniqlo and Comme des Garçons." Nefertari added. "They helped me dictate the fashion world, showcasing the latest trends and designs in the fashion world. That includes in-depth coverage of my fashion shows."
At the Uniqlo Fashion Show, Nefertari's face went into utter shock when two spokespeople announced their decision right before the start of her fashion event.
"Then, everything changed when Uniqlo and Comme des Garçons decided to drop me out in favor of...a new youth-oriented campaign." Nefertari said with an essence of sadness in her voice.
"My fame dwindled after my professional modeling career dried up. I couldn't find any qualified work. Therefore, my name had vanished from the public." Nefertari continued.
Four years later, Nefertari walked through the streets. Her eyes caught the sight of a black tessen fan on the pedestal through the window.
"Since then, I've spent that time gathering resources and plotting revenge against those brand companies who had turned their back on me." Nefertari said. "But that plan was put on instant pause when I got a surprising call from this Oriana woman."
Nefertari faced a floating black eye-like robot projecting a holographic screen of Oriana from its light gray aperture-like pupil.
"She promised me a career comeback if I capture and deliver you to her." Nefertari said. "If I can do that, I could be famous again and make a name for myself, instead of relying on those damn companies who had no faith in me."
Suddenly, Luna's arms started emitting radiant pink energy. A pair of large pink exoskeleton armor enveloped around her arms and grew even bigger as her strength began to increase even more. Luna then raised her right armored fist and launched a powerful punch that instantly shattered the cobra head into pieces.
"Tch. I don't care what you think of me. My goal will prevail. I will bring my dignity back, one way or another." Nefertari said. "But tell me. Why do you want to become a hero so badly? Isn't it for fame? Money? Popularity?"
"Because...it has always been my dream since I was a kid." Luna replied. "I know it's not the same as yours, Nefertari. In order to achieve it, I have to work on my Quirk to its full potential, so I can become a hero to save lives and to show them all a bright future that they can strive for."
Nefertari stared at Luna for a surprising moment after listening to her response.
"I see. I guess we're one and the same when it comes to our determination." Nefertari said. "And if that's the case, then let's fight this. Tessen Wave!"
Nefertari swung her tessen and unleashed glowing yellow energy blades at Luna, who swiftly evaded each energy blade one by one. Nefertari then dashed over to Luna and started slashing her tessen with rapid speed, but Luna protected herself from the villainess's rapid slashes with her Exofists. Luna then punched Nefertari in the stomach, launching her away from the pure strength of Luna's Exofists and sending her to crash into a tree.
Nefertari got back up and launched towards Luna. She formed a yellow mass of bladed butterflies flying around her in circles from her tessen.
"Tessen Butterflies!" Nefertari yelled.
Nefertari aimed her tessen forward, sending the energized butterflies to rush straight towards Luna in different directions.
Luna hastily avoided and smashed the homing butterflies with the combination of her Exofists and her breakdancing moves. Then, with each punch, she shot out several pink energy bolts straight at Nefertari in rapid succession. Nefertari lunged while evading most of the energy bolts until two of them managed to strike her in the chest and face, throwing her off balance in mid-air and knocking off her mask.
Then, Luna jumped into the air above Nefertari.
"Helios Smash!" Luna yelled.
Luna launched forward and delivered a barraging succession of twelve punches all over Nefertari, punching the villainess into the ground with one final powerful punch.
As the cloud of smoke settled, Luna loomed over Nefertari and aimed a steady pink energized fist, ready to strike if she made a move.
"I was wrong about you." Luna admitted. "You are strong. One of my toughest opponents I have ever face. I can understand that you have a very strongminded goal in mind, but turning your path into villainy isn't the way to do it. It's never too late to pick yourself up and try again with a fresh new start."
Suddenly, Luna and Nefertari turned their heads to the sound of rustling bushes. Tarot Chariot, Celena, and the Machina came out from the bushes as they observed the scene between Luna and Nefertari.
"Luna Yagi, you should be proud of yourself." Nefertari spoke with a cough as her eyes was filled with tears. "You won by giving everything you got." She turned to Tarot Chariot, Celena, and the Machina. "I…I surrender."
