Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, Zap, and Sparx were in a prison in Rainmuth and they were still asleep.
Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap woke up and stood up.
Then Sparx woke up.
"Where are we?" Spyro asked.
Then Winter, Moonwatcher, Qibli, Kinkajou, Turtle, and Carnelian walked up to the prison.
"You're in Rainmuth, one of Queen Wavsion's ships and is also the ship of my father and my mother. My father is Prince Taipan and my mother is Python. My father is the brother of Queen Wavsion so he's a Prince which makes me a Princess too. But you don't have to call me Princess Kinkajou and you can call me Kinkajou and you don't have to bow." Kinkajou said.
"Then why didn't you say anything beforehand?" Spyro asked.
"Because I didn't want you to think that I couldn't be trusted and besides, you know how Princess Snowfall and Princess Doomfull acted as well as Princess Mink, Princess Comet, Princess Crystal and Princess Jewel did to you in the Ancient Grove along with them and besides, you heard about King Fair's parents and how terrible they were." Kinkajou said.
"I see. I understand that but I still managed to trust them and besides, they were helping me too because I impressed them so there's no shame in that." Spyro said.
"I get it. Now, do you want to know what you have to do?" Kinkajou asked.
"Yes, I do." Spyro said.
"Well, you're in a tournament so you have to battle three opponents in each different round, one round after another, if you win a round, then you can move on to the next round. However, in order to win the tournament, you must win all three rounds." Carnelian explained.
"Okay, thanks for the explanation." Spyro said.
"You're welcome and don't forget, you have experts of fighting in tournaments and you know who I'm talking about." Kinkajou said.
"Yes, I know, and those are Ronald and Cynder." Spyro said.
"Right, and you better get ready for the first round." Kinkajou said.
"We will." Spyro said.
"Good." Kinkajou said.
Then Winter, Moonwatcher, Qibli, Kinkajou, Turtle, and Carnelian left the area.
"Well, it appears that we're captured again." Sparx said.
"We are but it's not like the first last time because we have the others with us just like in Skymuth and in Seamuth." Spyro said.
Then the Rain Realm Dragons walked up to the prison and opened it.
Then the Rain Realm Dragons brought Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap to the Arena Hallway and then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap walked on the path until they reached the gate.
