After a devastating loss of the King of Ku and being branded traitors for regicide, Hikari and the Brave Adventurers journey to gather allies to reclaim it from the cold hearted general Mugen. The first stop in their journey takes them to Montwise on the eastern continent where they seek out Kazan.
"So, this is Montwise, huh?" Tenko asked.
"A fitting place for the sharpest mind of Ku's military. And a dear friend." Hikari said. "We can only hope the rumors of his arrival here are true."
"So, where can we find him?" Crusadermon asked. "Is there anything of note about this place?"
"According to the words of the locals, the hotspot of this town seems to be the underground arena." Leopardmon said.
"Then that is where we will search." Hikari said.
The group then headed to said location as there were red petals falling from above and two soldiers were clashing blades.
"Kill him! Cut him to pieces!"
"Blood! We want blood!"
"Now, who will our next champion be? Come one, come all!" a Bookmaker called.
"An underground gambling ring?" Magnamon asked.
"It looks like they are betting on the matches." Crusadermon said.
"Watch for too long and you'll become unable to tear your eyes away." A voice said as Hikari and the group turned to see a familiar man walk up next to them. "A toast to old friends, eh? It's been a while, my prince." he said, revealing it to be Kazan.
"Kazan! We've been searching high and low… Have you heard…?" Hikari said.
"I wager the story has traveled the world and back again. The story of the wicked young upstart along with a group of mercenaries and their devious plot. Doubtless carefully crafted by none other than General Mugen." Kazan said.
"Our home is in danger, Kazan. We need your brilliant mind by our side." Hikari pleaded. "Together we can defeat Mugen and restore peace to Ku."
"Hmm… An interesting proposition. There were more than a few in Ku who would've liked nothing more than to see you sit on the throne. I admit I find myself among their company." Kazan said. "However, before I help you… Might I ask a favor in return?"
"What do you need?" Hikari asked.
"Oh, nothing too dramatic." Kazan said before pushing Hikari down into the arena.
"Yo, Kazan, why did you do that?" David asked.
"That is something I will explain after the prince returns." Kazan said.
"Oh, new challenger, huh?"
"That's a fierce-lookin' sword… Ain't never seen a warrior dressed like that, neither."
"Well, who will stake their fortunes on this unusual swordsman? Riches await the bold gambler!" the Bookmaker announced.
Hikari then Challenged the gladiator and was soon victorious as he soon returned to the stands.
"Well done, my prince. I'm glad to see the years haven't dulled your blade." Kazan said.
"What's the meaning of this, Kazan? Speak, or I'll slice that cup from your grasp." Hikari said as he had a hand near his sword.
"There's no need for threats, my prince! It was a necessary step if you're to become a gladiator here." Kazan said.
"Gladiator? What are you talking about?" Sachiko asked.
"...Let me guess… You went broke and you want Hikari here to fill up your coin purse." David said.
"That is correct. The Eagle of Ku has had his wings clipped by debt, you see… And I can't take flight until my burden has been eased." Kazan said.
"So you mean to gamble your way free… I see your bad habits still follow you." Hikari said.
"'Life is a bitter draught,' they say. How can I be expected to stomach it without the occasional snack? All you need is to keep swinging that sword of yours and my fortunes will reverse. Before long, the eagle will have his wings again and will gladly help you and your comrades in this quest." Kazan said.
"So long as fighting is all you want me to do, I have no objections." Hikari said.
"Truly, my prince, you are made of the stuff of kings." Kazan said before another battle was beginning as everyone took notice. "Ah, it begins…" he said as the group walked to the front and saw a lone man facing off against four gladiators. He had a scar over his right eye and was clad in heavy black armor and has a black beard and hair as he wielded a large sword in his left hand and a shield in his right. He easily wiped out all four gladiators without breaking a sweat.
"'Defeat…is death.'" the man said as the people were cheering the name Bandelam.
"Did you see that? He just took out four of those guys like they were nothing." David said.
"He must be the champion of this arena." Alphen said.
"Bandelam the Reaper… The only fighter in this den's sanguine history who has felled a hundred foes. He stands high atop their corpses, and not a single challenger has come close to toppling him." Kazan said.
"So, does that mean if we want to clear your debts, we've also gotta beat him?" Rinwell asked as Hootle cried in worry.
"More than likely, yes. I trust you all can help Hikari best him if it comes to that?" Kazan asked.
"Definitely. Tenko, you'll probably need this just in case." David said, giving Tenko the Bracelet of the Three Houses..
"Me? You're sure?" Tenko asked.
"Why not? We can probably give you a little boost in the arena." Claude said as he appeared with Edelgard and Dimitri.
"You seem like a very skilled fighter, Tenko. Combining our skills would help you against these gladiators." Dimitri added.
"Dimitri has a point. A lot of the fighters here seem effective to our weapons. Besides, your Neo-Aikido uses weapons like ours, correct?" Edelgard asked.
"Not normally, but it does happen on occasion." Tenko said. "There are wooden swords, bo staffs and daggers, so Dimitri's lance might be helpful in this union."
"Not to mention Edelgard's axe. Just keep that in mind when you Engage with us." Claude said.
Bandelam looked at the group in silence, mainly at Hikari before he soon left as Hikari left as well.
"Hey, Hikari!" Law said as the group followed Hikari outside, soon joined by Kazan.
"I apologize. Everything that we saw in that arena overwhelmed me." Hikari said.
"That is the truth of this 'paradise', my prince. The desperate gather to fight for the entertainment of the well-heeled…in duels to the death. More coin flows through these hallways than the most bustling marketplaces. Although, I suppose you can give them some credit for not allowing any old fool to wager their life." Kazan said.
"...So you mean for myself and my new allies to conquer the arena?" Hikari inquired.
"The fact you all haven't fled the city means you don't find the prospect an impossibility. So, once you're all properly girded to fight for your lives, let's get on with it, eh?" Kazan said.
"Got it, Kazan." David said.
Hikari and the Brave Adventurers soon returned back to the arena to fight their way through the combatants and clear Kazan's debts.
"They're back! The swordsman from the west and his accomplices!"
"Give us a show, eh?!"
Their first three opponents stepped forward and drew their swords.
"These three are gonna fight us at once?" David asked. "This should be interesting."
"You've drawn your weapon. Be prepared for the consequences." Hikari said.
"We can do it!" Colette said.
"Ready, Tenko?" David asked.
"As I'll ever be." Tenko nodded, slipping on the Bracelet of the Three Houses. "Let's go, Edelgard!"
"Count on me!" Edelgard said as she appeared beside Tenko as they prepared to attack.
The three Gladiators charged the group and attacked with swords in hand.
Tenko landed a powerful punch at one of the gladiators, Edelgard swinging her axe in conjunction. Tenko was able to take on the three gladiators in good succession, Edelgard watching her back as the two fought side by side.
"Wow. Tenko and Edelgard are working in total sync here." Himiko said in awe.
"She may not even need our assistance. Your friend fights well." Hikari said.
"Well, I'm not expecting anything less. Tenko may be missing a few social cues, but when it comes to fistfighting… Oh, she's got a lot of us beat in that department." David said.
After a few more minutes, Tenko was able to parry all three gladiators and knock them back with her bare hands, and then, with one good roundhouse kick combined with a big swing of Edelgard's axe, they were all knocked down for the count, Tenko winning the round for her group.
"Not much of a fight, if I'm being honest." Tenko said.
"Indeed, those three were not fighting with all their strength… something is off." Edelgard said.
"I've never seen anything like that!"
"Make her fight to the death!"
Tenko ignored the comments from the crowd as the group met back up with Kazan.
"That was a splendid display, Tenko. My prince chooses his allies well." Kazan said.
"It was a farce. Her opponents were wounded." Hikari noted.
"Yeah. They definitely weren't in fighting condition when we fought them." Tenko said.
"Wounded or no, your victory has won you the right to wager your life. If you desire a real fight, you'll have it. Sharpen your blade. And strike true…" Kazan said.
A little while later, before the next round.
"Hey, so I did a little looking around." Claude said. "Turns out behind the curtain, the competition isn't looking so good. The manager of this place is forcing all the gladiators to fight non stop. That's why those three who fought Tenko earlier were all beat up."
"We figured something was off about them. So the manager is working them to death, huh? If this Bandelam guy doesn't kill them, he will." David said.
"You got it. What's worse is that these guys are all being slaved into fighting. Most haven't seen their homes in forever. The manager is using Bandelam to control them through fear. Rough stuff, if you ask me." Claude said.
"So, what do we do?" Law asked. "We can't let these guys suffer like this."
"Everyone in this arena is expecting us to fight to the death in the next round against whoever our next opponent may be." Korekiyo said. "Why not spoil their entertainment by sparing their life?"
"And that'll drag Bandelam out, and once we defeat him, we'll be able to make the other gladiators rise up! Kiyo, you're a genius!" Trish said.
"The question is, who are we sending in to make this work?" Crusadermon asked.
"There is no need for debate. I'll go." Hikari said. "I shall spare my opponent's life, and once Bandelam appears, I trust you all will come to my aid."
"Don't worry. We're on standby if anything happens." Tenko said.
With that, Hikari was slated to enter the arena to go one on one with whoever was sent to face him. In the box seats were a handful of ultra-elites, including Kazan and the arenas manager, Borneau.
"Hm, new faces. The one leading them appears to be from the west- Ku, perhaps?" one of them asked.
"His opponent is Zeto the Butcher, undefeated for 22 consecutive bouts." the second said.
"Hmm, who to bet on…?" the third asked.
"There is nothing quite so thrilling as wagering on the lives of such strapping warriors…" the fourth added.
"Master Kazan, how will you wager?" the third man asked.
"It takes a shrewd mind to win a seat among this company. I would be curious to know your thoughts."
"I assure you I'm only here by the grace of luck." Kazan said.
"Now, let us collect the bets. As the host of tonight's entertainment, I shall collect. And the winners shall receive double." Borneau said. "Now, who will you place your faith in? Zeto the Butcher, or the swordsman from the west?"
"Eight hundred thousand leaves on Zeto."
"1.2 million leaves on Zeto."
"Two million leaves, Zeto."
"Hehe… Will no one leave their fortune in the hands of the new challenger?"
"Where is your sense of adventure? Perhaps if I raised the payout to say…five times the bet?" Borneau asked.
"Fifty million…on the swordsman." Kazan said.
"...Quite bold, If I may say. Perhaps seeing your countryman in the ring emboldens you. I hardly need to tell you, but bets cannot be redacted once placed." Borneau said.
Kazan chuckled. "I don't think we'll have to worry about that."
It wasn't long before HIkari took to the arena to face Zeto.
"The Sword of the West! Versus… Zeto the Butcher!" the announcer called.
"Kill him, Zeto! I've got a lot riding on you!"
"Tear his guts out and show 'em to us!"
"Why are you here?" Zeto asked.
"Because I chose to be." Hikari answered.
"Nothing personal, but this isn't over until one of us is dead." Zeto said before drawing a pair of claw gauntlets as Hikari was silent. "This prison hungers for blood."
"If I must…" Hikari said, challenging Zeto and drawing his sword.
"...This is my duty. Now, we fight to the death!" Zeto responded.
With that, Hikari and Zeto engaged in a fierce duel. Zeto's claws were deadly, but Hikari's skilled swordsmanship saw him through. He was able to parry Zeto's attacks, capitalize on his vulnerability to swords, and then finish him off with another one of his secret Techniques via Shadow's hold.
"Tenretzuzan!" he called, taking down Zeto in one good strike, ending the match.
"What?! Zeto lost…" one of the nobles in the box seat said.
"Where did that swordsman come from? He fights like a demon…"
"It appears I'm the winner." Kazan said. "Two hundred fifty million leaves was our agreement, I believe."
"Hmph. I'm as good as my word. But a piece of advice: know when not to try your luck." Borneau said.
Back on the arena floor, the spectators were crying out for Hikari to finish Zeto off. These cheers only served to stir up the inner demon within Hikari. However, Hikari managed to calm himself as Bandelam stepped in.
"Defeat is death." Bandelam said, drawing his sword and preparing to kill Zeto himself, but Hikari got in the way and saved his life.
"You…" Zeto said in surprise.
"You can't stop this, swordsman." Bandelam said.
"You would taint a match already won? If you wish to fight, I'll be your opponent." Hikari said.
"Hmm, you're a curious one. Your eyes… They gaze over the precipice of death." Bandelam said. "Listen well, swordsman! Death awaits you! And I'll be the one to usher you into its embrace!"
"I accept your challenge." Hikari said.
"Good. Tomorrow then! Enjoy your final day! By my sword shall this arena be paid the blood owed to it!" Bandelam said before leaving.
Outside the arena…
"That went well, my friends. We've been given a golden opportunity. Win against the hero of the arena, and we'll be set for life." Kazan said.
"More importantly, are you sure we can take him?" Tenko asked.
"I will face him by myself tomorrow. But if events play out according to Korekiyo's prediction. I may need some help. He is formidable. But together, we may be able to best him." Hikari said. "However Kazan, this isn't about profits for you. There's a sadness in your eyes, something I've never seen before. What are you plotting?"
"...May you and your comrades find glory in battle, my prince." Kazan simply said.
The next day…
"Honored guests, esteemed patrons! Today the excitement is palpable… For today, Bandelam the Reaper faces the Sword of the West! Bandelam is the mightiest warrior this arena has ever seen. Winners will receive their bet plus ten percent. But should you wager on the Sword of the West's victory, you will receive ten times the amount! What shall it be?" Borneau said.
"No one in their right mind would bet against Bandelam…"
"Even Kazan knows luck will only bring him so far…"
"Three hundred million." Kazan said.
"Huh?" Borneau asked.
"With my winnings from yesterday, along with my own private funds… I've managed to scrounge up three hundred million. I wager on the Sword of the West." Kazan said.
"Master Kazan! Have you taken leave of your senses?!"
"Of course not. And don't bother telling me that bets cannot be revoked. I know." Kazan said.
"But victory will mean a payment of three billion leaves. I daresay not even Master Borneau has such…"
"A small fortune, to be sure, but is he not known as one of the wealthiest men of this land?" Kazan asked.
"I accept your wager, Master Kazan. Let us hope you do not come to regret it." Borneau said.
And so it wasn't long before Hikari took to the arena floor again, ready to face Bandelam as the Brave Adventurers stood on standby in the crowd.
"The Sword of the West! Versus…Bandelam the Reaper!" the announcer called.
The crowd cheered Bandelam's name as the man himself walked up to the arena.
"Our lives are lived at Master Borneau's leisure." Bandelam said, drawing his shield and greatsword.
"You're skilled, but your loyalty is misplaced." Hikari said, clutching the katana at his waist.
"No. My loyalty is placed exactly where I want it to be. I live only to fight, and Master Borneau has given me a path to walk. I dedicate my sword to him. Now come." Bandelam said.
"If I must…" Hikari said, drawing his blade in challenge.
"Victory is life! Defeat is death! That is the way of the arena!" Bandelam declared before charging and clashing his blade with Hikari's.
The two of them engaged in a fierce duel, Hikari avoiding the blows from Bandelam's larger sword and finding any openings he can in the fight to cut him.
"Bandelam is formidable, but I doubt that he is using all his strength to fight Hikari at this time." Dimitri said as he appeared.
"He is testing Hikari. To see if he is considered a worthy challenge." Tenko said. "A lot of martial artists tend to do that."
"Even Goku…to a cataclysmic fault at points." David said.
"You can't blame him. It's what he does." Himiko said. "He always believes in a fair fight, so he doesn't go all out unless there's something at stake."
"Still, though. There's no denying that Bandelam is a very strong fighter. It's going to take a lot of elbow grease to topple him." David said. "However, Bandelam being here is what we've been waiting for. Himiko, Tenko, Angie, is everything ready?"
"We're ready to jump in as soon as the Gladiators rebel." Tenko said.
"Atua believes they will rise up any second now." Angie added.
"We just need to know the cue to take the stage." Himiko said.
"When the gladiators come storming in." Tenko said.
And that moment wasn't going to take very long. In the arena, Hikari and Bandelam fought for a few more minutes, before Hikari finally pushed Bandelam back.
"..Not bad. I've cut through a hundred foes to reach this moment. But not one had even a fraction of your strength. What is it that has brought you before me? Pursuit of riches? Glory?" Bandelam asked.
"...My friends." Hikari answered. "They await me on the road ahead."
"And where does that road lead?" Bandelam asked in return.
"I'll become the king of my homeland. I'll reshape it into a nation fueled not by bloodshed, but by fellowship. I'll be a king unlike any other. And to get there, I will go through you if I must." Hikari replied as Bandelam was silent.
"I've never seen Bandelam so hard pressed…" one of the nobles up in the box said.
"Master Borneau! Run!" an arena guard said.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Borneau demanded before four gladiators ran in and held him and the four nobleman at swordpoint. "Why aren't they in their quarters? Where are my guards?! Bandelam- Curses!"
"Curses, indeed. Your hero isn't here to save you now. I've been waiting for this moment for a long while." Kazan spoke up.
"What…?" Borneau asked.
"Your luck has run out, Borneau." Kazan declared as he looked to the Brave Adventurers on the other side and nodded as a signal to jump into the action.
"Let's go, guys!" David said as the Brave Adventurers stormed the arena.
"Bandelam! I want these insects squashed at once!" Borneau ordered.
"As you wish, Master." Bandelam said, before turning to Hikari, who was soon joined by the Brave Adventurers. "You said you fight for fellowship, swordsman. It is good to have a reason to fight."
(Cue: In Pursuit of Kingship ~ Rawk Hawk- Paper Mario: Thousand-Year Door)
Bandelam then pointed his sword to the entire group. "It's what gives a warrior his strength."
"Enough talk. That's not what we're here for, is it? Let our blades speak. Their story will tell us who is stronger. We will forge ahead, to where my friends await." Hikari said. "David, let us and your friends finish this. Together."
"We're with you, Hikari. Let's do it! Prepare yourself, Bandelam. With two reapers in combat, we will show these upstart nobles the true meaning of hell!" David said as he underwent his complete Ice Reaper transformation.
Champion of the Montwise Arena
Bandelam the Reaper
Bandelam began the fight by charging into the fray with his shield, looking to bash any of his foes and stun them.
"D͘amn̷, hé's͘ got̡ so̵me͢ st̕r̀ong ̕a͏t̢t̶a̛ck͜s̀.͢ B͜e͏ c̡a̷ref́ul҉,̢ ̸ȩv̨eryone!" David said as he went at Bendalam with claw attacks.
"Okay, his weakness are… lances, knives, axes, fire and light. We got this! Just be careful for any of his wide attacks!" Miu said.
"Got it, Miu!" Law said.
"He'll try to cover his weakness. Try alternating tactics as he switches." Tenko said. "Right now, it's knives and fire. Light him up, Himiko!"
"I'm on it! Bolganone!" Himiko said, immediately hitting Bandelam with the powerful fire spell.
"Backup has arrived!" Angie said as she painted up some ninjas to attack Bandelam. They swiftly strung him from all directions with kunai and daggers.
"You will need more than magic and tricks to defeat me!" Bandelam said, trying to swing his sword for a big attack.
"I͏t͞'҉s ̶com͡i̸ng͠! D̷u҉ck!̶" David said as they all ducked their heads to avoid the attack.
"Tenko! Use my Flame Gambit, it should be just as effective as a fire spell on Bandelam." Edelgard said.
"If you're sure, then let's do it!" Tenko said as she dealt some swift strikes at Bendalam, leaving a burn in his armor.
Bandelam continued to press on, as He clashed swords with Hikari as he was able to get a strike in, coupling his sword damage with the burns left behind by the Flame Gambit. It wasn't long before Bandelam was worn down.
"You look prepared for the end!" Bandelam said as he retained his stance, but his guard was dropped.
"His weaknesses to Lances, Axes and Light are exposed now! But watch out, he's takin' this more seriously!" Miu said.
"Tenk̨o̸,҉ ńow!́ ̷Enga͜g̵e ͡with̀ ͟t͡h́e ͏Bra̶c̕e͜let̀!͠" David said.
"Right!" Tenko said. "Ready, Edelgard?"
"You need only say the word." Edelgard said.
"Emblem, Engage!" Tenko said, engaging with Edelgard and donning the same attire David wore as her hair turned purple, brandishing Aymr.
"What magic is this?!" Bandelam asked.
"This is the power that will finally put an end to your winning streak, Bandelam!" Tenko said.
"Then show me!" Bandelam said as he clashed his sword with Aymr as the two of them engaged in a fierce one on one. It was really close as the fight seemed to last for a few minutes, but Tenko dodged a powerful strike from Bandelam, and then, seeing her opening, knocked his sword arm away and left him open.
At that moment, Tenko then summoned Aymr, Areadbhar and Failnaught to her side. "I'll strike you down!" she said as she charged at Bendalam, swinging with Aymr and Areadbhar before jumping back and notching an arrow with Failnaught before firing.
Bandelam couldn't get his shield up in time as the arrow pierced right through his armor. Taking him down to his knees, but not killing him.
"Your defeat was inevitable." Tenko said.
(end song)
"Bandelam!" Borneau cried in distress as a gladiator had chased him to the arena. He couldn't believe his finest fighter was forced to the ground.
"...I've lost… now kill me… it's the way of the arena." Bandelam said.
"I, nor these warriors beside me, spill blood needlessly." Hikari said. "My sword exists only to guide Ku. And theirs, to help guide me there."
"...Your eyes brook no doubt." Bandelam said.
"I'm awestruck, my prince. From east to west, not a single warrior can stand against you or your new allies." Kazan said.
"Enough sweet words. They'll rust my blade." Hikari said. "Now tell us what you've been plotting, Kazan."
"Oh, I will. But first - Borneau, I believe there is the matter of a bet to settle." Kazan said.
"A-anything you want!? Just…just spare my life!" Borneau begged.
"Did you forget? Three billion leaves, payable to me." Kazan said.
"Th-that amount is vast…! It will take time to gather, and-" Borneau started before he was cut off.
"I͞f yo͞u ͡ar͡e͠ ̷u͠ńab͏l̛e ̨to ͞pay, I ma̧y h҉av̸e an ̛a͢lterna͡tive in͡ mi͡n͜d͠." David said. "As͜ ͡I̵ was ͏wo͜rk͏ing̛ on in̶ve͘stin̴g i͡n th̀é F̶ig͝hte͘r̛'s͝ ͡A̶re̛n͏a̡ in th̀e ҉Fi͏ght́ Univer͏se̡, I r̴e͞al͏i̵z̶e̢d͏ ͢t̴h͜at̸ it i͏s iń ̀de̸sperate need̴ ̛of ҉spoǹsor͜ship̸ś.̷"
"We think alike, David. Perhaps I will accept something else as tender. This arena, perhaps?" Kazan requested.
"Wha-?!" Borneo asked in shock.
"A favorable deal, I must say. Especially if your life is included in the bargain." Kazan said.
"O-of course! You can have it! Take the arena!" Borneau accepted. "You… You two really drive a hard bargain."
"Tr҉u̕s̀t us,͠ ̢B̕o͢r̕n̛eau̶. Losing̀ ỳou͝r͘ p͡recįous͜ ̵ar̵ena is t̡h̡e lea͠st of your co͞ncer҉ns." David said.
David had a point, as all the gladiators were holding the nobles betting on their lives at blade point. They were about to kill them, but Hikari convinced them to stand down. It wasn't long before the arena was Kazan's, and everyone was outside the arena as the sun was setting, David and Tenko reverted to normal.
"Apologies for the lies and intrigue, my friends. My goal was always to free these poor souls. I used to be like them… powerless. Spat upon. But Lord Jigo granted me a place by his side. Lifted me from my wretched position. And it made me who I am today." Kazan explained. "I only wanted to do the same for them. To give them a place."
"And it looks like they'll get one." Shionne said. "After what we did, freeing them from thier endless conflict, they'll want to join Hikari's side and help him retake Ku."
"It's always nice to have reliable allies by your side in these trying times." David said.
"And if my prince and you'll all have me, this eagle would like to join your merry band as well." Kazan said. "A drink! Tonight we toast!"
"No doubt Hikari will want to reunite with his other old ally… Rai Mei, I think he said her name was." Crusadermon said.
"Before that… Do you think you can make a quick stop?" Kazan asked. "There is a shipment of weapons making their way through a forest in Wellgrove, and Ku was marked as their recipient."
"I see. You want us to help sabotage their convoy, right?" David asked.
"If an opponent is snarling at you, defang them… a wise strategy, Kazan." Hikari said.
"Go there and meet with a merchant called Azuma. He'll provide you all with the particulars." Kazan said.
"I'm putting my trust in you, Kazan. David, can you and your friends do the same?" Hikari asked.
"You bet. We're with you all the way, Hikari." David said.
"And the eagle puts his trust in all of you." Kazan said. "The future my prince has envisioned… it's worth wagering my life on."
"We'll need to take a ship to the western continent." Leopardmon said. "Thankfully, there is a ship that will directly take us there in New Delsta. And with the winnings we got in this arena, the fee is not a problem."
"Our journey will be long, but it will be worth it. Let us bring peace to Ku, together." Hikari said.
The blades of Prince Hikari and the Brave Adventurers cut through the depravity of the arena. And in their victory, they win two prizes: The first being Kazan, a brilliant strategist dubbed the Eagle of Ku. The second being the loyalty of the now free gladiators.
For his countrymen, his friends, and his nation…Hikari sets forth toward the next milestone in his journey.
