So I posted a new story the other day Borrowed Time, and when I went to do so I had to agree to the sites guidelines and it said that only things rated K are allowed and that it was possible for anything else to get deleted. Well I am going to keep writing as i have no idea how to censor it in away that would make the stories just dogshit. Everything here is also on AO3 same names, i have the same user name so if my stuff suddenly disappears you know what happened. I always post here first or at the same exact time, you all have been here since the start so I would never just bounce. I just want to let you know what is going on, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

Mirio was not prepared for the knock at his door at 6 am, having just returned from helping All-Might with the investigation into the USJ incident a few hours earlier, quickly he looked at the clock to ensure that he had not somehow slept through an entire day and that it was Monday. Assured now of the day, he walked over and opened the door, ready to yell at somebody. What he saw was his girlfriend Nejire standing there.

"Nejire, I am exhausted; I don't have time for whatever this is," he said dismissively. "Can we talk about it tomorrow morning before classes?"

Nejire sighed. She had told herself that if he answered the door happy to see her and at least kissed her before going into the, 'I'm tired' speech, she would give him a chance, but his attitude and the fact she was there in partially unzipped hoodie that left no question of if she was even wearing a bra settled it.

And to answer the question, no, she wasn't; she wasn't even wearing underwear, but there was no way to tell that.

"I'm done." She said.

"Ok, done with what?" he said confused.

"You," she replied, fighting back the tears; she didn't want him to see her cry. "I am breaking up with you."

"Wait, why?" he said. "Look, I'm tired right now; I will make it up to you later, I promise."

"Like you promised not to miss our next date night?"

"Yeah, but…"

"Like you promised to stop lying to me? Or how about you promised to come to my room after I sent you that picture? Or how you haven't kissed me in 2 weeks? How can you barely hold my hand? How about that?"

"Nejire, things are going on…"

"There are always things going on, Mirio, every day, every second. But whatever it is you are involved in is more important than me, which I could understand if you didn't lie to me all the time, if you made me feel like I was loved, that I was wanted. Am I not hot enough for you?"

"That's…." he tried to say.

"Whatever, I know I am hot. I was told I am beautiful and believed it when he said it."

"Who told you that?"

"My special Kouhai told me I deserve better, and I do now. Hand me your phone!"

"What?" he stammered out.

"GIVE ME YOUR PHONE!"

He held his phone out, and she quickly snatched it from his hand, "Wait, you need the…" she typed in the pin and unlocked it. "Code," he said.

"All Might's birthday, duh," she said. She pulled a piece of paper from her pocket, looked over it, deleted their text message thread, found the folder where her photos were saved, and deleted those. Cleared the backups, emptied the trash file, and reset the phone. She was told that if he really wanted to, there were ways for him to get it back, but it would take effort on his part, and she was sure he wouldn't expend that.

"I will be cordial to you, respectful, but you no longer call me by my first name. We are done." She said, shoving his phone back in his chest.

"Nej…" she glared at him, "Hado, look, we can work this out, you don't understand."

"Are you going to explain it to me?" she countered.

"I…no," he said.

"Togata," she said; he winced at that. "If you were honest with me, I wouldn't do this; if you had made me feel the least bit special, I wouldn't have done this. If you made me feel wanted, loved and desired in the slightest, I wouldn't have done this. My special Kohai made me feel most of that in less than two sentences, and you couldn't do that the entire time I was standing here. Goodbye, Togata. I will see you in the field." She turned on her heel and walked away. She waited until she was in the elevator before she started crying.

"Who the hell is this Kohai!" he fumed, slamming the door.

-Nejire's Special Kouhai-

He had woken early and prepared as best for his second meeting with Nezu; they had chosen a sight near the forest. He was coming over when a crying, beautiful missile barreled into him. It took him a fraction of a second to realize who it was. He has to be the dumbest mother fucker on the planet; holy shit, is she not wearing a bra. He tilted his head to look at the sky while trying to control his other member's reaction. She was pressed very firmly against him.

"Senpai, I may be overstepping my bounds, but I will gladly pound that dust into atoms for making you cry." He said.

Nejire realized who she had barreled into, and before she could even apologize, she heard what he had said. She went to look at him, and him staring at the sky with a blush on his face and something lightly poking her stomach. After she glanced down, she noticed her jacket was still unzipped. He noticed! My Kouhai noticed.

"Not it okay, kouhai, but can you do two things?" she asked.

"For you, senpai, anything." He said, still admiring the sky.

"One look at me," she said. He lowered his gaze to the sky to her damp eyes; he instinctively smiled for her. "Two, Forgive me."

"Huh," was all he managed before she crashed her lips into his; instinctively, he kissed her back. She opened her mouth, and with delight, their tongues met. She moaned as his mouth felt so vibrant, so alive. She felt terrific when what was lightly poking her in her stomach before really poking her. Eliciting such a reaction, when he reached down and grabbed her ass, she leaped up and wrapped her legs around his waist; there was no way he didn't know that she wasn't wearing any underwear. She was the one that broke apart from him; both were breathing hard.

"Am I forgiven Kohai?" she almost purred at him.

"Yeah, yeah, of course." He said, stunned. Momo may murder me, but…

"Thank you, kouhai, for making me feel good," she kissed his cheek and dashed off, leaving him stunned in the middle of the walkway.

Are you just a kissing fool now?

It wasn't like that, Momo, I swear. It happened just like I showed you.

Well, you are forgiven, but don't be long. I have been missing you, and you can make it up to me later.

You are not mad.

No, I'm not mad; Nejire is gorgeous. I wouldn't kick her out of bed.

Huh….

Her laughter filled his head. Izuku, are you ok?

I'm sorry the mind you are attempting to reach has temporarily shut down and is being rebooted; if you feel you have reached this mind in error, please try your telepathic communication again. If not, please allow the subject to reboot—Thank you for reaching out.

-Meeting Round 2-

How do you extend an olive branch to someone you don't trust? You reveal that you are a telepath.

It was the second meeting in as many days; Nezu came alone this time, an immediate improvement over the last time.

"How would you like to begin?" Nezu asked.

"First, while my reaction to your "reveal" was emotional, what I said is still correct; I was not wrong. You have done wrong with your actions and inactions. I don't hate you or fear you; given time, we may be able to work together, but that depends on your actions. I will not be spilling my guts to you here. I believe that showing you I am also a Telepath is enough for now." Izuku said, keeping his tone measured.

"May I ask about this Telepathy?" Izuku nodded. "Have you used it to manipulate things in your favor?"

"Only once, I was getting annoyed when I went to update my quirk registry; it had been a difficult return to Aldera and used to get them to approve the document. Taking someone's free will immediately made me feel like shit."

"It would make things easier for you," Nezu replied.

"It would," Izuku said. "I could have everything my black soul desires: make women fall for me, heroes kneel, and all of society my puppet. But that is not what I want; I don't want to make people change. I want them to choose it for themselves."

"And your partner is aware of your telepathy?"

"Of course, she knows everything." Izuku shrugged. "Isn't that what you do with the ones you love? It is why I don't want to take over someone's mind; I didn't just want her body; I wanted her to choose to be with me, and to do that, I had to share my secrets." He paused before continuing, "If I wanted to use my telepathy for nefarious purposes, All-Might would have never come to you to ask any questions, I would have a full-ride scholarship, and you would be broadcasting to the world how this one student stood up and managed to help save his entire class during the USJ incident."

"That is a valid point," Nezu said. "Could you do such a thing?"

"Yes, I could invade your mind and have you transfer money, scholarship, and everything."

"Now I have revealed something to you; now you owe me something," Izuku said.

"I owe you an apology for not only digging into your life but for my conduct yesterday when I was the one that called you to my office," Nezu said. "For those actions, I do apologize, and you were also correct in that you are owed a full scholarship from the written exam, the practical exam, and your actions at the USJ."

"Thank you," Izuku said. "I think this is an excellent first step. Principal, I don't want to be at odds with you constantly; I aim to do my best for my class and the future of this country and this world.

"And Bakugo, do you have, shall we say, requests?" Nezu said.

"No, keep an eye on him, and for God's sake, get him some help. I don't know if we can co-exist, but I won't lose sleep. You are right. He has potential but is the poster child for everything wrong with this system."

"And what is that?"

"Getting a free pass because of your quirk, going into heroics to only battle and defeat people without a single care about protection or rescue. Maybe you want to add a psych evaluation to your application process." He said.

"That may have disqualified you," Nezu said.

"It may have, but I know I have issues, and I was in therapy till the morning I came here," Izuku called over his shoulder.

"Why did you stop?" Nezu asked.

"Because she had to go, this isn't her story. It's mine." He said.

"She had to go?" Nezu said to himself.

-Return to the Dorms-

When he returned, everyone was awake, and he saw that the blankets had all been moved upstairs; it seemed that people would attempt to sleep on their own tonight. He noticed all the girls were missing. He summarized that they had all gone to the group baths. The boys were downstairs, minus Bakugo, but that wasn't anything new.

"Hello, Gentleman," Izuku said, using his telekinesis to grab a drink from the fridge and float it over to himself.

"Show off," Denki said with a smile, "Couldn't you have just walked over there and grabbed it physically?"

"Very much so, but it helps with my control, holding something with just the right amount of pressure, etc., and it is much cooler this way," he said, smiling. "How is everyone doing?"

"While the need to have taken extreme measures is understandable and something that is to be expected at some point in our lives, having done so, I must say I do not enjoy the feeling," Fumi said. Dark Shadow peaked out and nodded his agreement.

"It never should be," Mezo said, "We should never get comfortable having to take a life; if we do, that is when we become villains."

"Everything happened so fast, I only really had time to react," Denki said. "I probably hurt some people, especially in the lake, but it was them or us and what they said…"

"I realized that there will be times I need to use my fire," Shoto said. "You were right; in the end, it is my quirk, not his, and if I want to shove it in his face, I will use it how I want to."

"That's good, Shoto, that's good," Izuku said.

"What about you, Izuku," Rikido asked. "You have been caring for everybody else; you healed every one. I know I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you, but you disappeared when all the parents showed up. Could yours not make it?"

"No, they couldn't," he said. "I didn't want to hang around and be a downer. I know everyone has been and has been going through it, so I took off. I went and hung out with a friend and got distracted. It was what I needed."

"Distracted?" Hitoshi said, "What could distract you from that shit show?"

"Would you believe me if I said bowling?" he winced.

"Bowling? Really?" Hitoshi said. "Was it any fun? I have never been."

"Neither had I; yesterday was my first time." Izuku said smiling, "It was a blast; there was a lot of shit talking and joking around. It was a lot of fun. Maybe if we can make it through a week without the world trying to break us down, we can all go as a class?"

"I am so down," Ejiro said. "Bowling is manly as fuck."

"While I am quite terrible at the game, Dark Shadow is truly a terror on the lanes," Fumi added.

"I think that would be a great idea," Tenya said, pushing up his glasses, "Next Sunday, we can see if we can go as a class; I would up for us doing something together every weekend. While the events of the USJ were indeed nightmare fuel and something I don't believe I would wish on my worst enemy, it did bring the class closer together." Everyone looked at Tenya, slightly surprised. "I also would like to apologize to you Izuku."

"What for?" Izuku responded.

"Brighton," he said. "I was acquainted with him before I ever came to U.A. through our family's business dealings; when he approached me and began to speak ill, I should have, I should have known better." He said, sounding defeated.

"That wasn't your fault," Izuku said. "You didn't know me and knew him naturally; you will listen and gravitate towards someone you already know. For now, I think I have earned the benefit of the doubt."

"You most certainly have."

"Ultra Beatdown 10 tournament?" Denki said.

Everyone joined in piling onto the couches as the game loaded up; it was mind-numbing and a waste of time, but they wouldn't have had it any other way.

Smut

Momo found herself naked, with Izuku's face buried between her legs, the music doing its best to mask her moans and cries of pleasure. As she came again, he rolled her onto her stomach and entered her from behind, pressing her into the bed. She lifted her hips some to push back against him.

"Harder, just fuck me, don't stop till I pass out," she said over her shoulder. His pace increased as she called out his name; he was hitting just the right spot as he orgasmed again. She moaned in contentment when she heard him call out to her, and he exploded.

They shifted positions; he was on top of her, her legs wrapped around his waist as she felt him cum again. She held on a little longer until her legs began to shake in orgasmic pleasure. "Don't stop," she begged. Feeling his cock spring to life inside her, she was in bliss; she lost track as she felt him empty his seed inside of her over and over. She could feel it spilling out of her with every thrust; the bed was a mess of their sweat and sex. She didn't care; she needed this release and the feeling of life.

They both needed this connection; they hadn't been intimate since the USJ. She wanted to be ravaged by him, to feel his passion for her until she couldn't think anymore. Ultimately, they were calling out, "I love you."

She pulled him one last time as they experienced release together; they just collapsed, and the last thing she felt was him still inside her as darkness finally claimed her.

She awoke to a tray of food. She looked a mess, but she didn't care. Sitting in bed eating next to her, Izuku was all she wanted; when she stumbled to the shower, she found herself with her legs around his waist as he fucked her against the wall. She smiled when she felt his cum; she wiggled free, sliding to her knees; she took him into her mouth and deep-throated him. Hearing his moans over the shower sounds was music to her ears as she fingered herself to another orgasm. She could tell he was close; she reached around and pulled him tight against her mouth as he shot his load.

She got to her feet and bent over, her hands against the wall. He didn't have to be asked twice and buried himself inside her. Once he finished again, she reached back, arching her back, interlocking her fingers around his neck, the water cascading off her breasts. She began to grind against him, feeling him come back to life. She whispered for him to let her move when he started to move. He stopped as she fucked against his cock, moving how she pleased. Bringing herself to another orgasm, she didn't stop until she could feel him twitching; she pushed back against him and whispered to him to fill her with his seed, to unleash it all inside again. She heard him moan her name, his voice deepened as he orgasmed; she smiled as she felt his legs shake.

She pulled herself free; they finally calmed down enough to get clean. He stripped the bed and placed clean sheets telepathically. When they went to bed, they just wrapped themselves around each other.

End Smut

Izuku fell asleep in bliss. His name being called woke him up; he could hear someone calling for him telepathically. It took a second for him to realize it was Mina; she had a nightmare and was sitting in bed crying.

He could hear her mental debate of wanting to go to him but not wanting to disturb him.

"Mina?" he heard Momo whisper.

"Yeah," he responded.

"Go, Izuku, it's her first night alone," Momo said. "Go do what you do."

"I love you."

"I love you too." She said, drifting back to sleep.

He slipped on some pajama pants and a tank top before quietly slipping into the hall. He walked over and made sure she heard his door open. He left it slightly ajar with the light on; he heard her exit her room and walk over to his door. Gently, she knocked and whispered his name.

He opened it; his heart broke by seeing her tear-stained face; he silently pulled her into his arms. He felt her melt; then she started whispering feverishly.

"I am so sorry; I should be stronger than this. It would be best if you were with Momo now; I thought I could handle this. I am so sorry, Izuku, I am so weak."

He held her tight and guided her to bed, lying down with her in his arms. "It's okay, Mina; no one expects you to be perfectly fine after Friday. It has only been two days; I would be even more worried about you if you were fine. I have you, it's ok. You are not weak. You are one of the strongest people I have ever known. You didn't give up; you fought with every ounce of your soul."

"But the nightmares," she sputtered.

"They won't go away overnight, but I will do my best to keep you safe," he whispered. "Now sleep, I have you; nothing will touch you, I swear."

"But," she protested.

He nuzzled her head and kissed her forehead. "Sleep, Mina; I will hold you till you wake."

She nuzzled as close as she could, their limps entangled; he felt her begin to relax before she drifted off. He wanted to help her; he knew he could go into her mind and start fixing it, but he knew it would be wrong unless it would destroy her. He didn't want to resort to that. But he would push her mind away from the nightmares.

She awoke to the sound of a strange alarm, wrapped in the arms of someone who was becoming increasingly familiar. As she opened her eyes, she found those tender green eyes looking down at her and that gentle smile.

"I'm sorry," she began to say.

"Don't be; you are surprisingly cuddly and squishy in the right places," he retorted.

She could feel herself blushing, the way their bodies were pressed against each other; there was no denying that he could feel all of her against him.

"Izuku, I…" she just stopped and tried to snuggle closer. "Thank you."

"Anytime, Mina, just ask." As they disentangled, he creased her cheek; she leaned into the tender gesture. He leaned down and kissed her cheek. "I will be here for you, I promise." She blushed some more as she got up and quickly slipped out of the room. Izuku got dressed for the return to class. He went to the kitchen, surprised to find Rikido, Fumi, and Toru cooking.

"We got this, mister," Toru said, pointing a spatula at him. "You just relax." Izuku smiled and chose to sit at the counter so he could chat with them as they cooked. The rest of the class came down and soon ate together. Bakugo, once he learned Izuku had nothing to do with it, sat and ate with the class. They all stood in the foyer together, steadying themselves as they entered the morning light.

Class 1-A made their way toward their class; it was impossible not to notice the stares and whispers they were being given. Though they had avoided the television and social media all weekend, they were not dumb as to think that the news hadn't picked up on the story. The class just made their way, not stopping, and filled the room. The door opened, and there stood Yuga; the class all rose, and when he entered, they swarmed around him, hugging him and telling him how much they worried. Bakugo, of course, just stood in his seat.

Rikido just wrapped him in a massive hug and cried. Yuga, who had been doing an excellent job until that point, broke down. Izuku noticed this guilt spike when Rikido thanked him for saving his life or when the class said they were glad to see him.

Everyone found their seat as the bell rang, and like clockwork, the door opened, and in walked Mr. Aizawa; his arm was still in a sling but looked very good.

"First, I am glad to see you all here today. Today, all of you will meet with counselors due to the incident. Despite my objections, the school has decided to move forward with this year's festival."

"Sir, what if we are attacked again?" Itsuka said. "Is this the smartest course of action?"

"Yes and No," Aizawa said, taking his spot before the class. "Security will be ramped up as a show of strength. The sports festival is the most watched event in the world, and you only have three opportunities to show your stuff on that stage to help gain the attention of the pros watching in the hopes of earning an internship opportunity. This year, more eyes will be on the first-year events due to the incident than ever. This is an opportunity for those in general studies to earn a spot in the hero course and for those in the hero course to lose that spot. This is different because we have an open seat, so rest assured they will be coming for you all harder than ever." He looked over his class.

"You will be given ample time to train over the next two weeks, so take advantage of it. Please open your emails so you know when the appointment is with the counselors. Now moving on…"

The normalcy of class was a welcome relief as, at various times, three students would get up and leave for their appointments; this continued to cycle through to right as the bell rang.

As they headed out for lunch, some students started talking about the festival; some were excited, and others thought it was too soon, but the opportunity it provided was immense.

"I can't wait for this," Ochaco said, bouncing. "Let's all do our best out there and take the top spots," she turned and held her hand in front of her like a boxer. "I can't wait."

"You seem rather excited, Ochaco," Tenya commented.

"You heard sensei; this is our opportunity to get our names out there; if we do good, we can get a better internship with a higher-rated hero. So, let's all do our best out there." She punctuated her statement by pumping her fist in the air.

"Why do you want to be a hero?" Izuku asked.

Ochaco blushed some, "The money," she said. Izuku was shocked it wasn't the answer he would have expected from her. "You see, my family owns a construction company. We aren't that big, and well, it has been hard. And I would beg my dad to let me help out. With my quirk, I could save the company so much money."

"That would negate the need for heavy equipment," Izuku said.

"Exactly, but they wouldn't hear of it; they wanted me to follow my dream, so I want to be a great hero to care for them. My dream is to send them to Hawaii on a vacation. I want to help people. I want to be someone who, when disaster happens, feels better knowing that I am there to help, but I also want to be able to take care of my parents. Is that bad?"

"If you were only in it for the money, then yes, but wanting to take care of those important to you and helping people, I can understand that," Izuku said. "Everyone has their reasons."

"Yes, Ochaco, wanting to help others and care for one's family is a noble pursuit," Tenya said.

"Why do you want to be a hero, Tenya?" she asked.

"For my family, my brother is the Pro Hero Ingenum, and he has inspired me all my life. I aspire to one day be as great as him," he said, smiling.

Lunch was a simple affair; other students were looking over at them, but no one bothered them. They ate and returned for their afternoon. It wasn't until the end of the day that things began to take a turn for the interesting.

-The End of the Day-

When the final bell rang, the class gathered their belongings and were getting ready to head out for the day when Ochaco opened the door to leave and froze. There was a whole crowd of students.

"Excuse me; please let us go to our dorms." She said—Izuku, who was not far behind her.

"What's going on Ochaco?" he asked.

"All these people are out here, and they won't let us by. Do you know why they are here?"

Before he could answer, Bakugo barged and passed them into the hall, "There here to scout the competition you heard, Captain Nap? We are being targeted." He growled before turning to the crowd, "NOW GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY OR THE ONLY THING YOU WILL BE COMPETING FOR IS A GRAVE." Violently, he shoved past the crowd.

"Just what I would expect of the toast of the town U.A.," a snotty voice rang out. Izuku immediately recognized Neito.

"Yeah, we have heard all about 1-A and how awesome you guys are for fighting off some small-time villains." A new voice chimed in with a noticeable lisp. "We heard a seat open, and you should watch your back because we are coming for it. But if any of you lovely ladies wish to talk about some other arrangements, I would be happy to say over dinner?" the source was this very short boy with purple orbs for hair; as he looked past Izuku to Ochaco and the other girls, he proceeded to lick his thumb and smooth out his eyebrows.

"Yeah, just because you guys are getting all the attention doesn't mean 1-B are just some secondary characters." For some reason, some guy with Silver Hair and sharp teeth reminded Izuku of Eijiro. "We are going to make sure you all fall to the waist side, and we take center stage."

"We are here to declare WAR UPON THEE 1-A; WE SHALL EXPOSE JUST HOW MUCH OF A JOKE YOU ALL ARE AND THAT WHAT HAPPENED AT THE USJ WAS NOTHING MORE THAN HOGWASH, COMPLETELY BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION BY THE MEDIA," Neito proclaimed with a hair flip.

"This is a war; we will take you guys out!" Purple Orb exclaimed, making a slashing move across his throat.

Taunts and Jeers started to fill the hallway as other students added their insults. Izuku noticed that Shoda and a green-haired girl were trying to regain their class.

Class 1-A was pissed. At first, they were hesitant, but the more orb boy and blonde spoke, the more angry they became. These people, who had no idea of the hell they went through, dared to come and belittle their ordeal and make some foolish declarations of war. Ochaco and a few others near the door were about to say something when this menacing aura began to ripple, and they felt this heat begin to emanate; they knew it was coming from Izuku. It wasn't like the USJ, but it was very distinctive. "I'll handle it," he said.

"How dare all of you," he said, stepping into the hallway, his aura forcing people to step back. "You want to come down here and talk about things that you know nothing about, make disgusting comments to the ladies of our class, threaten to take us out. Have any of you stared death in the face? We did? Did you see us before news crews attempting to "raise our profile"? Now you come to our door and make threats, well, you damn well fucked up now. I swear to all of you that none of you will sniff the third round, and those who make it into the second round will wish you hadn't. By the end of the sports festival, no one will know who you are. And if you think I am joking," he slammed his foot down, and a telekinetic wedge shot out and pushed the crowd back up against the walls, forming a path. "Let's go, guys," 1-A filed out and walked down the path to leave; they saw some students struggling to move, but no one could get past the invisible line that had been created. Izuku was the last one; he snapped his fingers, and they were all released.

"If any of you in 1-B had come and asked, we would have been able to talk; the rest of you in general studies, aiming for that empty seat, we would have welcomed you gladly cause no matter how bad you may be, you are an improvement over who was there. I didn't have to be this way." He said as he walked away.

The class returned to the sanctuary of their dorms; everyone stopped and gathered in the common room, with even Bakugo standing on the stairwell. "You know that you painted a huge target on our backs?" Mezo said Izuku entered.

"We already had a target on our backs; you don't have to side with me." He said. "I am doing this of my own accord."

"Do you expect the rest of us to stand by and not try and take you out?" Bakugo said.

"He has a point," Rikido added. "Not having you in the final round would make things easier for the rest of us."

"You can do what you want," he replied, "I won't keep you out of the final round, but I won't let you stop me either."

"So, you want to be number one like the rest of us," Denki called out.

"I don't want to be number one; it isn't what I am chasing?" he replied.

"What are you after?" Shoto said.

"I want to change the world," he responded. "I believe that our society needs to change, that too much emphasis is placed on if a quirk is powerful or flashy, that someone shouldn't be looked down upon because some asshole decided that their quirk is villainous or not heroic. Or that someone should suffer ridicule because of a mutation they have no control over. Society needs to advance and improve; there are some of you in this very room that, with your quirk alone, could help to move us into a new era. In the past 300 years, quirks have been around. How has society advanced since the time before quirks?"

He looked at the class, "Why aren't we training kids and their quirks as soon as they appear? In case they do have a troublesome or hard-to-control quirk. Why aren't we exploring the stars? Other planets, ending hunger, ending the things that hold us back as a society—improving the quality of life. Those other kids, in general studies, deserve the right to be heroes if that is what they decide to do with their lives; we shouldn't be fighting each other for some arbitrary title of number one; it's a popularity contest. It doesn't reflect anything.

"All-Might is the greatest hero of all time," Bakugo called out.

"He was great." Izuku said, "By the metrics, as much I hate to say this, Endeavor has more crimes solved; he is just an asshole. All-Might was great for his time; he did exactly what was needed to secure the country, but the whole country cannot rest on one person's shoulders."

"And you know better," Tenya said.

"All-Might is slowing down; look at the numbers. When you only have one pillar holding everything up, and it falls, what happens to what it holds? A few years ago, none of us would have dared to dream that a group of villains would come and attack U.A. for the sole reason of killing All-Might. They are still out there, and I am sure others are waiting for the chance to take over. The League failed, but they did get away."

"If you want to be the number one hero, that's fine, but pull the others up with you instead of stepping on their necks. No one said you had to stand on the top alone. I, for one, don't want to be alone."

"The sports festival is an opportunity to get ourselves recognized," Eijiro said. "Some of us can't telekinetically hold back a group of students."

"And not everyone can tank multiple hits from that monster in the USJ or fight through what we all did to be standing here," He said. "I would love to train with anyone that wants to; if you don't want to, that is fine; if you want to try and take me out during the festival, once again, I understand. You know what my ultimate goal is."

"What about you, Momo?" Itsuka asked.

"I stand with him, not just because he is my boyfriend. We talked about what we wanted before we were together. It is part of the reason we are together. I agree with him; should I meet him in the third round, I will fight against him just as hard as anyone else. He knows I strive to be a hero because I want to change the world." She said, taking his hand. "Beyond helping people when disaster or tragedy strikes, what do you plan to do to improve the world when you are not on duty?"

"Being a hero should be about more than fighting some villain; if we can stop them from ever becoming villains, wouldn't that be better." He said.

They just walked past everyone to head upstairs; Bakugo grabbed his arm. "You and me, we are going to meet during the festival, and I am going to take great pleasure in beating your pompous ass in front of the world."

"You are welcome to try," Izuku said, freeing his arm. "I won't be hard to find."

-Common Room-

"Can we beat him?" Denki said.

"He isn't wrong," Hitoshi said. "I was one bad day from going bad. I have been looked down upon and treated like a villain because of my quirk. Society does need to change."

"There are truths to his speech," Fumikage said. "He strives for a lofty goal beyond just earning the title of hero; shouldn't we all do the same?"

"I WILL BEAT HIM," KATSUKI ROARED STOMPING UP THE STAIRS.

"We should all try to do our best no matter what," Kyoka said. "I won't hold back against any of you, and he isn't going to hold back against us. 1-B and those assholes deserve what is going to happen to them."

"Sometimes people are evil because they just are," Koji said. "Sometimes they have to do something bad to survive. Or protect those they love." He looked at Yuga as he moved off towards the stairs.

"Did you know you can be charged with vigilantism just for defending yourself with your quirk?" Tsu said.

"I believe in him," Mina said. "I believe in what they both said." The class slowly broke up to do their things after that.

-Momo & Izuku-

"Mass recruitment?" she said once the door closed.

"Kind of," he said, rubbing his head. "I think they should know where I am coming from. As easy as it would be to use the USJ to my advantage, I don't want to blindside anyone."

"So what happens now?" she said.

"We train, talk to Melissa and Mei, see what their goals are for the festival," he hugged her. "If anyone wants to train with us, we let them."

"Tell me again about what happened with Ms. Hado?" she said.

"In my defense….I got nothing; my lower brain took over." He said, causing her to burst out laughing.
