The screen began to shimmer with a crystalline menagerie of hues as a large rainbow lined book of crystals sporting a gold rose emblem on its cover appeared once more from the void, its cover slowly opening its golden pages once again as everything faded into a golden haze.

-Remnant, Somewhere in Anima, Argus Limited, Room 20-
WOOOOOO!
The sound of roaring steam and the crackle of steel against steel echoed across the snow capped mountains as a massive white and copper express train dashed across the tracks like a thunderous beast, its passengers highly unaware of the Grimm wandering the mountain range for 'food' or the uncomfortable highs they were traveling over.
All the while a transparent blonde woman floated near the train with a calm foreboding expression, her gaze fixed towards a window on the far left.
[Dimension: 9899998723- 31.1 SMDRWBY. On a lone train heading towards Argus, the pride of the Mistral Railroad, the Argus Limited, the lone survivors of Vale and Haven rest up in a rather unforgettable room, the Relic of Knowledge within their grasp as they plan their next plan of attack. However, for one Yang Xiao Long, she was bored out of her mind.]
"..." Yang sighed to herself while looking up from her magazine, staring at her team with an annoyed look on her face. "Weiss, can you...oh, I don't know, ask me something funny?"
"And why do I need to do that?"
"Because I'm bored, duh."
"Then look at your Scroll."
"It's charging and plus you say funny stuff when you're angry." Yang said with a smirk.
Weiss rolled her eyes and didn't respond to Yang's response.
"Oh don't be so Schnee with me." She smirked before looking at Blake, who was busy looking out the window. "Blake?"
"Yes?" She said while not noticing the transparent woman staring right at her from outside the window.
"You're alright?"
"Yeah...just thinking about...nevermind." She sighed while shaking her head.
"Is it about that flame bitch?"
"No."
"Then...is it the asshole that cut my arm off?" Yang asked while pointing to her right arm.
"...yes actually." Blake said with a hint of surprise.
"Trust me, I'm thinking the same thing."
"...so you're thinking about the existential fear of meeting a monster you once called friend and possibly trying to see the good in him despite his darkness?"
"What, no! I'm thinking of ways to shove my arm up his ass and use my arm like a drill to make him a NEW ONE!"
"EW! Yang!" Ruby yelled in disgust.
"Hey I have a right to say that!"
"I'm with Ruby, that is disgusting Yang Xiao Long!" Weiss yelled in disgust.
"If you lost an arm to an emo with megalomaniacal ideas of slaughter, you'd feel the same way!"
[Such is the nature of Yang Xiao Long. To get angry, make puns and feel eager to hurt anyone that hurts her. That is her in a nutshell.]
"I don't doubt that but still, that was crude!"
"Oh get over it!" Yang yelled while her body started to glow a faint light turquoise color. "My puns are supposed to be crude, I'm the party girl here. So...um, why are you guys staring at me like that?"
"Uh...Yang? You're glowing." Ruby said while Yang looked at herself in shock.
"Woah! This is kinda cool...how do I turn it off?" She said in confusion as her body glowed even brighter.
"How are you doing that?!" Weiss yelled in shock.
"Second semblance?"
"That's not a thing!"
"Oh, well maybe I'm jus-"
WOOOSH!
And lo, in an instant...Yang Xiao Long vanished in a flash of green, leaving behind only her clothes, bracelet and prosthetic arm on the bed.
"YANG?!"
[...what just happened?! No really, what just happened?!]
"YANG!" Ruby yelled while jumping into the bed and held her sister's arm.
"Where is she?!" Blake cried in shock.
"I don't know!" Weiss yelled as the transparent woman floated into the compartment and looked around, seemingly confused and perplexed about the entire thing.
"Maybe a Grimm took her?!"
"What Grimm is associated with GREEN?!"
BAM!
The three girls flinched as the train started to rock like a ship in a storm, making them look out the window as the 'invisible' woman hyperventilated a little.
"What's going on? How did this happen? Just...how?!" She loudly muttered to herself.
"What's going on with the train?" Weiss yelled before turning around, only to see a blonde woman panicking on Yang's bed.
"This wasn't supposed to happen in this timeline! And what energy was that?! It felt...odd, but also magic in nature. Oh gods, this is going to give me a headache once I start searching for her in the RWB-"
"WHO ARE YOU?!"
"...oh shit." She muttered before the train shook once more. "Sphinxes and Manticores are outside, right now."
"Wait-" Weiss said before blinking, only for the mysterious woman to vanish in an instant.
"W-W-What was that?!" Ruby cried out in shock.
"I don't know." Blake said while grabbing her weapons. "But we need to investigate. Weiss, pack Yang's stuff."
And without a word, said heiress got to work right away.
BAM!
'Yang...please be ok.' Ruby thought as the screen faded to black.
(Elsewhere)
-Unknown location-
Darkness filled the room as everything felt...odd for some reason.
Yet as Yang opened her eyes, she noticed that the entire area was a large stone room covered in ancient architecture foreign to her as strange green wisps seemed to be moving towards her, the sound of wind echoing in her ears.
"Huh...wh...what...happened?" She muttered while shaking her head in pain.
Only to look down to her right side and saw...an onyx skinned right arm with strange line-like marking going from her lower shoulder to her lower hip, thick rusted gold bands that went around her arm and wrist, five rusted gold rings on her fingers and long black nails, in place of her original prosthetic one.
And well...she panicked.
"W-What the hell is this?! This isn't my arm! Where is it!?" Yang screamed before noticing the room was coated in thick roots, making her even more panicked. "Just, why am I here?!"
"Ah, Link. Finally, you wake." said a calm yet unfamiliar male voice from out of nowhere.
"Who said that?!"
"I've heard a great deal about you from Zelda."
"Zelda? Who's Zelda?!"
"Your wounds were severe...I am relieved to see you escape death."
"Hey! I'm not dead!"
"Your arm, however, was beyond saving." the voice said while Yang looked at her arm in disbelief. "I had to replace it, lest the injury endanger you further."
"I already LOST my arm, I didn't need this!" She yelled as the room remained quiet, the only thing remaining in the room was a purple hilted sword with a decaying blade a few feet away from her that seemed to be calling out to her. "Look, just come out and show yourself buster!"
Silence.
"Hello?!"
More silence.
"Fuck!" She growled before picking up the sword. "...this is more Vomit Boy's thing. Now where's the exit?"
Woooosh!
She blinked while hearing the sound of wind, indicating a possible exit, making her slowly move towards the sound, keeping her eyes peeled around her for danger.
All the while cutting vines that obscured her path.
(A few minutes later)
-Great Sky Island, Temple of Time-
The sun shone above the massive white ruins as for miles around it were islands...floating in the sky like miniature worlds.
And all the while, a very tall onyx skinned humanoid goat-like creature with long white hair that went down this their feet and had bright gold strands at the tips, two long bangs going down the sides of their head and was held together with gold bands, light turquoise eyes coated with light yellow markings around the eyelids, eyelashes and eyebrows, a gray eye-like bump with light yellow markings around it, extremely long pointed sheep-like ears with five sea green tassel-like earrings dangling from them, four small light gold horn-like points at the ends of the forehead, light yellow markings on the cheeks, chin, neck and upper hips, sharp triangular fangs, long claw-like nails, wearing a dark green shawl that went down to their elbows and were lined with strange gold symbols along the sides, three gold necklaces with gold beads and turquoise 'fangs' attached to them, a long gold string-like cord attached to the middle necklace that held a strange turquoise face mask at the end, thick gold bands that went around the arms and wrists, five gold rings on the fingers, a long gold cord-like 'belt' wrapped around the hips and sporting gold beads and turquoise 'fangs' on them, a light brown cloth wrapped around the lower hips, a long dark brown cloth that went down from the pelvis to the knees and had triangular tassels at the end, a strange turquoise attered going down the front of the cloth with white stone patterns in the middle and ends of it, a black hakama-like garment that went down to their knees and was coated in a light sea green 'aura' as they seemed...translusent and almost like a mirage in nature, floated near the ruin's entrance, seemingly waiting for someone as the front doors were blocked by a light green seal.
Clank.
Clank.
Yet as the sound of frustrated grunts of anger filled the area, the spirit vanished and left only the gentle breeze of summer in its wake.
"Ugh! Fucking hell!" The figure said while moving towards the door, water dripped from their body like tiny raindrops as they moved their right arm towards the door. "First I fall from the sky, land in several pools of water, get attacked by weird robots and now I'm supposed to go here?! Fucking hell!"
ZAP!
"WHY?!" they yelled while the seal turned bright red.
"That door will only open to those with sufficient power."
The figure turned, revealing themselves to be a tall fair skinned young girl with long bright golden hair sporting pale gold tips that went down to her ass, a curved cowlick sticking on the top of her head, lilac eyes, a E cup chest and wide ass, wearing a white semi torn sleeveless tunic with a light green cloth over her left side sporting several small triangle-like tassels at the ends, a yellow lining sporting strange symbols on the green cloth's end, a long brown leather band that went over her right shoulder and down to her left waist, a brown string-like belt with several fangs attached to it, a small brown pouch on the left side, a small rectangular bronze tablet attached to her right hip, and worn out brown strapped sandals that went up to her lower knees, as she had a rusted sword in her left hand and went wide eyed at the voice's origin.
"I'm sorry. I did not intend...wait, who are you?" the spirit said while looking at Yang with confusion.
"Nooo, the one asking the questions is me! Who the heck are you and where am I?!"
"Yes, introductions. I am Rauru." He said while pointing to Yang's right arm. "And that arm originally belonged to me."
"What?! Ewww!"
"It is fine, a spirit has no need for physical attachments."
"Still ew!" Yang gagged. "But where the hell am I?!"
"That depends, where do you think you are?"
"If I knew, I wouldn't be asking!" She snapped. "So where am I?!"
"These." Rauru said while floating closer to Yang. "Are the ruins of a once great civilization, one from a few thousand years before a great Cataclysm brought it to ruin. But below us, is the Kingdom of Hyrule."
"The Kingdom of what? What's Hyrule?" Yang said in confusion. "Is it like Atlas? Mistral?"
"...I have no idea what you are talking about."
"Well I have no idea what YOU'RE talking about."
"I see, mmmm...you are definitely not a Hyrlian, especially without the pointed ears."
"Eh?!"
"What was the last thing you remember before appearing here?"
"Me and my team on a train."
"...train?"
"Yeah, train."
"What exactly is a train?"
"You know, a big machine that runs on Dust."
"...on dust?"
"Yeah."
"...it seems like you are not from Hyrule, or any other country outside its borders."
"Fuck me!" Yang yelled in disbelief as the spirit seemed to look rather confused at her current emotional state. "This is like one of those cliche series they show all over the net!"
"...what?"
"Why did it have to be me!? I've got more important stuff to worry about than someone's idea of a fantasy!"
"I understand you are upset but you must calm down." Rauru said while Yang screamed into the heavens out of anger. "I will explain as much as I can but please calm down."
"I can't calm down!" She snapped while turning towards the spirit. "I'm in a weird place, with a weird arm in place of my badass one and I have NO IDEA WHERE I AM!"
"You are in the Kingdom of Hyrule, or about a few thousand feet in the air to be exact. But...if you calm down I will explain my intentions and how you can enter into the Temple of Time."
"Why would I wanna go there in the first place?"
"Because." the spirit said while looking at the broken blade in her hands. "The fate of Hyrule is in your hands now."
"Eh?"
"...you weren't supposed to be here, but a hero named Link. He was supposed to be here but I overshot and overused my powers to bring you here as...the Hero of the Wild now lies in the Depths as a member of the dead."
"Wait...he's dead?!"
"He fell from the ground to about a few thousand fathoms downwards. No one could survive a fall like that."
"Holy shit."
"And because of this...you must be the one to save Hyrule from the darkness that threatens the world."
"No." Yang frowned while crossing her arms. "I'm not going to save a world that I don't even know about."
"...it isn't a choice, but a request. I can not return you home and you have the same strength that Link had, brave and unwilling to let evil win. You will become the hero regardless of personal feelings, for it's in your nature to defend the weak and helpless." Rauru said while Yang looked down at her feet, his words striking hard upon her soul and reminding her of her Huntsmen creed.
"Yeah well, I got my own friends and family to worry about back home."
"Oh?"
"Yes...but they are well trained. They can handle themselves." She said while feeling a little worried about them but...realized they could survive without them.
Especially Ruby...her little sister...the real hero...not her.
She gripped her hands and turned away from him as her mind tried to figure this all out.
On the one hand this was the perfect opportunity to be a heroine, just like the books mom read to her as a kid.
On the other hand...she had to find a way back home, she had to keep Ruby safe.
...Ruby. She can handle herself...her? She's still recovering from the loss of her right arm and the revelation that her mom left her out of cowardice.
...should she leave a world in need to return home or trust in her sister's leadership skills and help out these people?
Should she help a heroless world that she accidentally created or run away...like her mother before her?
"I...I..."
"Yes?"
"I..." she said before taking a deep breath and grumbled as she turned to face the spirit. "Ugh, fine. I'll be this 'Hero of the Wild' but once I find a way home I'm out of here."
The spirit nodded before looking at the door. "My arm has the power to open this door but...it needs power. So you must travel to the Shrines of Light around this island to restore it."
"And where would they be? You got a map or some signs?"
"The arm will guide you to the temples, but make haste, the longer you stand idle the more powerful the darkness will become in the lands below us."
"How can it guide me?" She asked while looking at the arm, only to look up and see that the spirit had just vanished from sight. "Hey! Don't leave me here! I'm lost!"
Silence.
"HEY!"
Silence.
"Fucking hell!" Yang screamed in fury as her right wrist started to glow a faint gold color, three towers of light turquoise green energy appearing at three different corners of the area like lighthouse beacons.
Her eyes widened, caught off guard by the colors as she looked between each of the towers.
"Ok...that is helpful." She muttered before looking at the pillar to her right. "Mmmmm, hopefully there aren't any killer robots here. I had my fill of them for a lifetime."
(Several hours later)
"..." Yang grumbled as she walked towards the temple's main gain from the left side, having accomplished her task despite the dangers and got some fancy new powers.
But AFTER battling killer robots, facing weird 'Grimm' that somehow AREN'T Grimm, evading nasty pitfalls and traps, and solving extremely tricky puzzles that only Blake or Weiss could accomplish.
Overall...she just wanted to get into the temple and get off this island before something else happens to ruin her day.
"When I see him I'm gonna-" She growled before tripping on her feet, making her stumble towards the door as her right hand touched the door...and shattered the red barrier instantly. "Ow! Fuck!"
CREEEEAK!
The large rectangular door slowly opened as Yang took notice and smirked with delight, feeling like her luck will get better from here on out.
"Ok, now we're talking." She said with a smirk. "Now let's get to that last temple and get out of here."
Clank.
Clank.
Clank.
As she walked inside the temple, she noted that the interior was more put together compared to the other spots around the island. All those were just broken and ruins sprawled all over the area.
"This place must've been quite advanced in its days, kinda like Mantle."
But as she looked around, she noticed that she had no way out as the doors slammed shut behind her.
"Hey!" She screamed as she cursed her bad luck, the sound of turning gears and rushing water echoing in her ears before she turned around and in the center of the room was a dark gold magatama jewel resting upon a pedestal that seemed to glow a golden light as Yang began approaching it out of annoyed curiosity.
"Ok, that is weird." she muttered before the glowing light enveloped her and the screen in a matter of seconds.
(A few seconds later)
"Mmm...what in the?" Yang muttered as she noticed she was still in the room, the jewel returning to its usual luster as she quickly looked at her hand and saw that a small portion of her right palm was tinted light turquoise and had a strange yellow orb sporting a unusual symbol in the center of it's now bright gold lining, making her blink in confusion. "Ok...that was weird, even weirder than the other times I got weird powers from that goat...sheep thing."
"Ah, the Recall...the ability to reverse the movement of an object through time. And Zelda has vanished as well-" Rauru said before Yang interrupted his train of thought, having had enough of him appearing out of nowhere.
"Zelda, who the hell is Zelda!?"
"Right, you don't know. She is the princess of Hyrule and my descendant."
"...HOW!?"
"...perhaps that new ability will prove useful to you?" Rauru said before disappearing into nothingness.
"W-HEY! Stop doing that and answer my questions!" She yelled while cursing her luck, but noticed that there was a pathway near the north side of the temple.
But it was covered in spinning gears that were...oh wait.
"Recall huh?" Yang muttered while her right hand glowed yellow. "I can work with that. Thanks Zelda."
That was when an image of that blonde elf girl entered her mind...and made her think of Weiss for a moment.
"Mmmm...that chick kinda reminded me of Jaune and Weiss' kid." she muttered before heading to the right side of the temple, hoping to use her new skill to stop the wheel in its tracks and get to the ledge.
All without taking another dive into a pool of water.
She held her right hand out towards the moving gear as everything started to look much duller, a light yellow hue forming on the gear as it began to slowly move the opposite direction.
"By the gods, it works!" Yang yelled with joy as she jumped on the gear and saw a third gear going towards an upper level floor.
Clank!
The Huntress quickly jumped up and climbed the gear, reaching the floor before the color around her returned to normal, the gears resuming their original directional routine.
"Huh, neat." She said before turning around and saw a massive door at the end of the hallway with a strange serpent-like creature and two handprints near the base. "Great, another door."
She grumbled before walking towards the door and placed two hands on the imprints.
Only to feel her strength slowly fade as the serpent images started to glow green around her.
"Hey! What the heck?" She yelled while feeling her strength fade, only for her to decide to add aura to herself to regain her strength.
CRACK!
Cracks began to form around the door before she used all her strength to push the door open.
"Ah...ah..." 'OPEN! OPEN!'
RUMBLE RUMBLE!
As the doors finally opened, Yang could feel the cold breeze of fresh air as she saw a small altar just a few meters away from her.
However, as she sighed in relief, she noticed that her right hand was glowing...and upon looking up she noticed the spirit of Rauru right next to her, his right arm also glowing at the same exact time.
"Ah, good. I see you have managed to open the door. Although...I didn't expect you to be that strong, almost Goron-like."
"What...the dust...is a Goron?" Yang panted while trying to recover her strength.
"One of the many races in Hyrule that you will see once you make it to the surface."
"I'll...keep that...in mind."
"Though our time together has been brief, I must again apologize for bringing you to this realm." Rauru said as Yang regained the ability to breathe normally. "While this wasn't the destiny given to you, I know that you will be the hero that Hyrule needs in its darkest hour."
"Wait, why are you saying it like that? You still need to tell me things, help me in this weird place." She said in confusion before noticing the spirit's body shimmering like glass.
"Now it's up to you." he said before dissipating into tiny specks of turquoise 'dust', leaving Yang all alone in this strange new world.
"Wait! Don't go!" Yang yelled while the sound of wind echoed in her eyes, the 'dust' already faded from sight as she felt...alone again. "...not again." 'I knew that guy was a pain, popping up randomly and telling me strange facts about the Zonai...but he seemed nice. But why? Why did he leave me?!'
Memories played within her mind, one of her mother, one from her partner, one from her sister...and one from right now.
Each one recalling someone leaving her...and it hurt...it just hurt.
She clenched her teeth and gripped her hands, the sinking feeling hitting her. "Damn it...gods damn it..."
But as she began to stew in her own frustration, she noticed a ball of golden light right near the furthest end of a walkway...right towards an altar.
And it seemed to be calling her, soothing the anger in her heart if only for a moment.
She narrowed her eyes before she took off running towards it.
Only to notice that parts of the walkway have collapsed to the floor below...although they can be accessible with her new powers.
"Fine, you wanna play like that? Let's play." She said to herself before making her way to the altar.
(A few seconds later)
"By the gods! I'll never get used to that weird 'Ascend' ability!" Yang said while pulling herself out of the ground, the altar a few feet away from her. "It's like I'm trying to swim in water, but all rigid and cold."
Ting ting.
The Huntress blinked as she noticed the light flickering a little...followed by the broken blade on her back flickering back with a holy light blue hue.
She raised an eyebrow before taking the blade off her back and looked over it, even more lost than ever before. "What the...?"
Ting ting.
She blanked before looking at the blade and then towards the light for a few seconds before getting a very crazy idea. "Mmmmm. This isn't my style but...maybe I might get something cool from it? Like some Shotgun Blades!"
As she placed the blade into the orb, she noticed that the world would fade to gray for a few seconds before...
It vanished instantly along with the ball of light.
"W-H-HEY!" Yang screamed in disbelief as she felt extremely annoyed at the situation. "Give me back my blade!"
"RRRIIIIIIHAAAA!"
Yang jumped in panic before noticing something in the distance that was parting the thick clouds around the floating island and revealing the surface below.
A massive six legged white and gold serpentine-like dragon with large crystalline shards lining its back, claws and antler-like horns, long pointed ears and light blue eyes that seemed to stare into the Huntress' very soul as the creature flew across the sky aimlessly and without any interest in the world at large.
"Woah..." She muttered in disbelief before her eyes widened in realization.
For she saw a dragon, a fucking dragon, her name sake! Not a Grimm or some kind of semblance...but a REAL DRAGON!
Her jaw dropped, unable to turn away as it flew up through the sky, not noticing her.
CRASH!
"OW!" Yang screamed in pain as she rubbed the bump on her head, only to see a large light blue 'crystal' with tiny flakes of gold scales shimmering on the ground next to her feet. "What's this?"
Looking upon the crystal, something clicked in her head.
"Wait...this came from the dragon...on my gods! This thing must be worth a fortune! Or even better, it's a perfect stabbing weapon!" she grinned with joy as she started to form ideas for the item in her hand. "Yeah! I can just attach it to my...right arm. Oh...right, it's not a prosthesis."
As she grumbled at the loss of her arm, she looked down from the edge of the platform and...saw a wide expanse of land below, along with a ruined castle surrounded by a deep crater.
"Wow...what a nice view." Yang muttered in awe before realizing one tiny thing.
There wasn't a way off this island...except down.
"...maybe I can find a ladder?" She said while starting to panic, slowly feeling empathy over Jaune's 'motor sickness' as she tried to step away from the ledge.
Crack.
Only for a portion of said ledge to break off, sending the blonde Huntress falling off the floating island itself.
"WAAAAAHHHHH!" 'FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!'
WOOOOOSH!
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
(Later)
-Hyrule, Hyrule Fields-
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH-"
CRASH!
"OW!" Yang screamed in pain as she landed face first on the grassy soil below, breaking her aura in the process, her whole body was shaking with her bones trembling due to the impact as she felt extreme pain at the moment. "Oooooooh...that...hurt..."
As she groaned in pain, she felt...strangely energized as something in the air, or perhaps the dirt she couldn't tell, was rejuvenating her aura at a great neck speed...which made her confused as she looked at her body and noted her body wasn't falling apart like you'd expect.
"Huh...what's interesting. I'm not dead." She said out loud as she slowly pushed herself off the ground. "And...I'm in a giant grassland. Huh, better than being on a snowy mountain right?"
As she looked upon the endless expanse of grass, she noticed that...
Several weird red skinned goblin-like monsters were wandering about a few miles to her left, each one wearing rudimentary armor and holding clubs, as they rode on top of black furred wild boars towards a fleeing rhino-like creature like a hunting party.
"What the...ok, those sure aren't Grimm, and they aren't those weird robots." Yang said in disbelief as the hunting party tackled the 'rhino' a few times before disappearing from sight. "And they aren't those slime things either. Just...where am I?"
Rumble.
Rumble.
The blonde Huntress blinked as she felt the ground shake a little, causing her to turn to her right and saw a...figure on horseback moving towards her.
"Wait, is that another person?!" she cried out with joy, only to pick up some features that showed this was NOT a person, or any creature she had seen before.
For one, it looked like an unholy love child of a lion and a horse, it had large elk-like horns, was completely black with pure red hair, and seemed to be holding a bow on its back and a massive sword in its left clawed hand.
And...it seemed to be moving towards her, although it hadn't picked up on the fact that a human was in its line of sight either.
"Shit! I gotta hide." Yang yelled before realizing something.
She was a Huntress, she could handle the worst Grimm in Patch and Vale. WHY should SHE be afraid of a weird lion man? She could take him easily with a single punch!
"Yeah! I'm not going to run away just because it's weird looking, I'm a Huntress and I won't be deterred by this ugly son of a bitch!" she grinned as she took a fighting stance and narrowed her eyes. "He wants to start something? I can take him."
Clop clop clop clop clop clop!
"BRING IT ON SHITFACE!" Yang yelled before charging towards the creature, right fist ready to blow him-
Wait...she didn't have her prosthetic arm, nor Ember Celica at hand...
Oh no.
Pow.
"..."
"Grrrrrrr." the creature growled as Yang's right fist made contact with its left cheek...and didn't leave any damage at all, almost as if the attack...didn't register to its nervous system at all.
"Uh...oops?"
"Grrrrrr." It growled before grabbing Yang by the head with its free hand and threw her to the ground, its hooves raised to strike her down instantly.
"Shit!" She yelled before rolling to the side, cursing to herself as she completely forgot about her current situation.
That being she had NO WEAPONS!
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!" She screamed before attempting to dodge the creature's blade, almost losing her head in the process. "Talking things out is out of the question, right?!"
"GRRRRR! RRRROOOAAARRRR!"
"I guess not!" She yelled before seeing a dirt pathway and got an idea, her hand glowing light green as she ran towards the creature. "Out of my way!"
FUUUUSH!
And went right through it with her 'Ascend' ability, feeling absolutely grossed out as she ran the opposite direction, hoping the road would lead her to a town and some reinforcements.
"Grrrrrr?! RRROOOARRR!" The beast roared in rage before following after the human, wanting nothing more than to crush her head like a grape for pissing it off, even if slightly.
"I give! You win! Go find something else to eat!" She screamed in horror as the creature kept on running after her like Ruby in a sugar high. "Ahhhh!"
(Later on)
-Hyrule, North Hyrule Fields, Lookout Landing-
It was a calm quiet afternoon as the residents of this newly formed town went about their businesses. From working on the defenses to just cooking their afternoon lunches, it was all smooth sailing for everyone.
"AHHHHHHHHHH!"
Until that calm was shattered by Yang's screams as she raced towards the village gates in a blind panic.
"Get away from me, you overgrown cat!"
"RRRROOOAAARRRR!"
"Help me!" Yang screamed before seeing the villagers scrambling...into their houses in fear as the gate guards ran away as well, much to her disbelief. "OH COME FUCKING ON!"
The creature roared with fury before taking its bow out and fired a massive arrow towards Yang, who quickly dodged it and grabbed it in mid air.
KATHUNK!
Which caused her to land right into a wooden beam from the momentum as the monster fired another arrow at her, and then several more with reckless fury.
'I HATE THIS PLACE!' Yang thought before scrambling into the village and turned around.
Only to see it...growling at her from the other side, seemingly unable to pass through the borders for whatever reason as it slowly turned and began trotting back the way they came, confusing Yang in the process.
"What. The. Everlasting. Fuck?!" She yelled in disbelief. "It NOW leaves me alone?! What the fuck?!"
Looking upon the village and then the beast, Yang felt her heart beating faster than usual as she slumped to the ground and panted heavily, sweat falling from her brow like a waterfall.
'That was too close, and dumb of me! Charging in without remembering I don't have my weapons on? That was an amateur mistake!' She thought before noticing some of the villagers looking out their windows and towards her direction. "Um...hi? Ah...got any water?"
She got confused looks with others who were out walking over carefully as Yang took note that all of them had pointed ears.
"Um...thanks?" She said sarcastically before the adrenaline faded away and she fell on her back, feeling slightly fatigued despite her aura healing some of the damage. "Ooof. Um, take me to your leader?"
The villagers looked at each other with confusion before walking away, seemingly ignoring her out of disinterest.
'Thanks, real hospitable. Wait, can they even understand me? Do they speak a different language? Great, like this can't get any more annoying.' Yang thought to herself before noticing that her legs were starting to feel better, seemingly returning to normal after only a few seconds, as she quickly got up and looked around. "Ok. Now...maybe there's someone that can understand me? Or at least knows why I got sent here...the ghost didn't help at all with that one."
But as she was about to take a step forward, she heard a loud-
CRASH!
...a loud crash coming from within a wooden house on the left of a wooden tower, possibly a lookout tower, that was in the direction of the ruined castle she saw from above.
"Oh what now!?" She yelled before running towards it.
Crash!
Only for four weird stone-like tentacles to burst through the doors and grab her as they held her in place above the ground.
"AH! What the fuck now?!" Yang screamed in disbelief before noticing a short fair skinned young woman with short white hair tied into a small double bun and held in place by two light red hair sticks poking out from the right side of her head, red eyes with light crimson eyeshadow, a C cup chest and wide ass, wearing a long sleeved beige hanten that went down to her knees and sporting red lining around the neckline, thin red ribbons attached to the ends of the sleeves, strange eye-like runic symbols along the hanten's neckline, a sleeveless beige top with a three gold straps across her eye-like cleavage cutout that were held together sans the bottom strap, black gloves, crimson red circular glasses with three pointed spines on the frames, a small red headband hidden behind her hairline, a large gold mask-like headpiece with light blue eyes in the center hanging over her hair buns, a gold diamond-shaped buckle near her stomach with two red cloth strands lined with gold ends that went down to her hips, a wide navy half skirt covering her right thigh, a strange gold band sporting markings made of various swirling circles and lines on her left thigh, a light red bodysuit that went down to her legs like red pantyhose, black high heeled geta sporting gold straps and holding a gold plated pipe in her right hand, stumbling out and quickly deactivating the device before throwing it back inside the house and slammed the door shut.
"Mmm. Another dud...oh, I didn't see you there." the woman said before noticing Yang's ears and blinked in surprise. "What happened to your ears?"
"Nothing." she replied in annoyance before perking up in realization. "Wait, you can understand me?"
"Well yes, you are speaking Hylian after all."
"No, I'm spreading Valeian."
"...I'm sorry what?"
"Val-oh forget it." Yang said as she shook her head in frustration. "The point is, I didn't know if anyone could understand me or not because when I got here, they just looked at me and walked off, even though I was being chased by a nightmare of nature that wanted to eat me."
"Mmm, that's what happens when someone wanders around a land full of monsters, they sometimes become apathetic to one's own plight. And what exactly was this 'nightmare of nature' exactly?" She asked while adjusting her eyewear a little along with her attire.
"It looked like a horse and lion got together and said 'fuck it, let's go wild'."
"...a Lynel? You were chased by a Lynel?!"
"That's what it was called? Well yes!"
"...how did you survive?! They are the most dangerous monsters in Hyrule!"
"Running?"
"...by the Goddess, you are either lucky or stupid. Those monsters are capable of killing armies, by themselves."
"And then it just walked away after I got here."
"Oh that, it's an intelligent creature. Fascinating really, but it knew not to attack Lookout Landing, given that it is highly fortified and...perhaps saw you as 'not worth it'."
Yang groaned while slumping a little bit.
"But how did you get it to chase you?"
"...by punching it in the face."
"...WHAT?!" she gaped at Yang in disbelief. "You PUNCHED it?! Have you gone completely mad, woman!?"
"To be fair, I forgot I hadn't any weapons and I'm a brawler so..."
"You're lucky it decided to leave you be or you'd be DEAD before you even got past the gates! No, before you even got HALFWAY here!" She yelled before pinching the bridge of her nose. "Why are Hylians getting more stupid with every hundred years? I mean really, Linky wasn't that bad-"
"Link? You know Link?" Yang asked in surprise.
"Yes, everyone knows the princess's knight who fought off Calamity Ganon. Why do you ask?"
Yang gulped while looking around the village nervously. "Um, can we talk elsewhere? Privately?"
"Why?"
"..." she gulped before whispering into the woman's ear, causing her to slowly lose all color on her face as Yang moved back a little. "Yeah...kinda a big deal here...and not good for the public."
"Oh...goddesses..."
"So is there a place to speak in private?"
The woman pointed behind her and started to walk back inside, her steps slow and a little wobbly for very good reasons.
'Why did I have to play the hero?'
(A few minutes later)
"And that's how I got here." Yang said while sitting in a chair near the window, the mysterious woman sitting a few feet away, looking rather shocked as the Huntress coughed a little. "So yeah...I'm kinda the replacement no one wants. Hehehehe..." 'This isn't going to end well, I just know it!'
"This...is...oh my."
"Um...so it's that bad...right?"
The woman took a deep breath as she tried not to panic too much. "Bad doesn't cut it. With Link dead and the princess missing, Hyrule will be destroyed...rather quickly and without Link, the unity with the other kingdoms will deteriorate or worse, start blaming the other for his death."
"...oooooh."
"And that doesn't count the fact that the Yiga Clan will use this to rally their forces. Or in the worst case scenario, the lack of a hero will allow the monsters to become bolder, attack other settlements like they did a hundred years ago and this time...annihilate us from the face of the earth."
"...shit." Yang muttered while feeling completely guilty and filled with remorse for her 'actions'.
"This is the worst thing to happen in all of Hyrule, not even Calamity Ganon was this bad."
"...I'm sorry."
"Pardon?" She asked in confusion.
"I'm sorry. If I wasn't here then he would still be alive."
"No no, it's not your fault. You just came here by mistake, you weren't the one that killed Link."
"But if I didn't get summoned, he'd be alive and kicking!"
"It was all a series of misunderstandings and chances." the woman said while Yang looked down at her feet. "Besides, Linky wouldn't want you to beat yourself over this."
"...I still shouldn't have come here." Yang said while looking at her right arm. "I was supposed to be in Argus with my sister and my team, not here with a dead man's arm and a stolen title. I'm not a hero, just a fake."
"Mmmm, from what you told me about your world and what you did, you are a hero. I mean facing monsters at a young age and doing it with a brave face? That takes courage."
"Yeah, with a team. Now? I'm on my own with no idea what's going on with my friends and sister. And now there's an entire world in danger and I'm the reason they lost their only hope!" Yang snapped as her eyes turned red.
"Perhaps but it takes courage to admit your faults, even if they are circumstantial. You can overcome this, even if the world is against you."
"..."
"Besides, Linky had his faults too." She said while Yang blinked in surprise. "He trained all his life to protect the princess that he had to become mute, stoic, and push his feelings for others into his work. And after losing a hundred years ago, he struggled to fix those mistakes and reconnect with the other Kingdoms that either hated him or found fault in his actions. But he overcame things, not all at once, but over time and with lots of trials and errors."
"But...I can't stay here forever. I need to get back home." Yang said while looking out the window. "This please is too weird for me."
"I understand but perhaps being here will help you in the long run. Maybe gain some closure."
"..."
"Plus if you help us, maybe we can help you in return?"
"Like find a way back home?"
"Perhaps, but..." the woman said while looking over Yang's current attire. "I think you might need some new clothes. Your...breast is hanging out."
She blinked and noticed the jutting asset before covering it up in embarrassment. "Hey! It's not my fault my clothes changed!"
"Still, if you are going to be a hero...then perhaps a change of clothes is in order."
"Um...thanks." She said sheepishly. "Any suggestions?"
"Yes. Just head up the ladder, I just bought some clothes for Linky that might fit you."
'So I'm going to wear...his hand me downs? Fuck that makes it even worse.' Yang thought before standing up and walked towards the wooden ladder nearby.
(A few minutes later)
Clank.
Clank.
The white haired woman sighed as she looked up from her notebook, writing down the day's weirdness, as she heard someone coming back down the ladder to her right.
Only to see a tall fair skinned young girl with long bright golden hair sporting pale gold tips that went down to her ass, a curved cowlick sticking on the top of her head, two light brown hair sticks sticking out from the sides of her head, lilac eyes, a E cup chest and wide ass, an onyx skinned right arm with strange line-like marking going from her lower shoulder to her lower hip, thick rusted gold bands that went around her arm and wrist, five rusted gold rings on her fingers and long black nails, wearing a dark navy blue form fitting bodysuit with a light blue hue near the front, feet, fingers and elbows, a dark navy blue cloth over the mouth and nose, bronze gold lined layered pauldrons that went down the upper sides to her stomach and had a strange eye-like symbols sporting a tear shaped end on them, a long gray scarf that wrapped around her neck and down to her hips, a large red strange eye-like symbol sporting a tear shaped end on her chest, gray bandages around the lower arms that concealed bronze gold lined arm guards with a strange eye-like symbol sporting a tear shaped end, dark navy blue fingerless gloves, two black belts with silver lining and two gold buckles, light black markings around the thighs, bronze gold lined greaves with red straps and adorned with a strange eye-like symbol sporting a tear shaped end, and light blue tabi-like shoes, stepping down from the ladder with a confused look on her face.
"Ah. The clothes look good on you."
"I look like Blake at a Ninjas In Love Convention."
"From what you told me, that sounds like a compliment."
"Well, kinda but...are you sure this is a good idea?"
"Yes, Sheikah attire is waterproof, shock proof and extremely durable." She said with a smirk. "Plus with my Purah Pad-"
"Purah what?"
"The thing around your waist, I invented it."
Yang looked down and picked the pad up, looking it over in surprise. "Huh, kinda looks like a Scroll."
"Wait, your world has something like my Purah Pad?"
"Yep, but it's a little more advanced and kinda sleeker." Yang said with a chuckle. "But still, are you sure these clothes are good?"
"Yep! I give you my word those clothes will last much longer than the old ones."
"And will it actually help me be stealthy?"
"Yep. It's guaranteed."
"So that Lynel thing won't see me?"
"...it's good at night or with very dumb monsters but not a Lynel. Wait, do you know anything besides punching?"
"Well, I can use this weird arm, but I'm kinda weaponless right now and unlike my team, I'm not really...you know. Skilled at weapon combat."
"Mmmmmm. Well perhaps your time here will help? Dangerous situations can jumpstart the necessary training for such weapons." Purah said while Yang gulped. "But if you head to the other Kingdoms around Hyrule, perhaps you can find a teacher there that can help?"
"How many are we talking about?"
"Let's see, there's the Gorons, the Zora, the Ritos, and the Gerudos. So about four, same as your own kingdoms apparently."
"And...they are, what exactly?"
"The Gorons are extremely strong species that are naked, roll around like balls and are excellent blacksmiths. They live on Death Mountain."
"They sound bulky. Hey! Was that spirit calling me big?!"
"No, he was calling you strong."
"...oh."
"The Zora hail from the Zora's Domain, a large body of water. They are humanoid fish that are great swimmers and polearm users, although they are also known for their water magic."
"Wait, magic is real?!"
"Yes, unlike your own realm, Hyrule has a lot of magic. It's in the very air we breathe actually."
"...Huh. So the Zora are...fish men?"
"And women, although you might get attracted to them...if you have certain tastes for them that is."
"I'll keep that in mind."
"The Rito are an avian species that lives above Lake Totori. Known for their music, archery skills and overall bird-like appearance, they can fly but use the wind to ascend to higher altitudes."
"So...giant birds?"
"Yes."
"...why do I have the feeling that I'm going to regret saying bird puns around them?" She muttered to herself as Purah chuckled at her.
"They won't get mad, maybe Tulin but they won't get mad at you about puns."
"Sweet, for some reason some people don't really like them."
"Maybe because they are bad?"
"Hahaha! You're funny!" Yang cackled while seemingly trying hard to ignore the Sheikah's words.
'Poor delusional soul.' Purah thought before shaking her head. "And the last race of Hyrule are the Gerudo, an all female warrior society living in the Gerudo Desert that specialize in the blade. Apparently they leave their town to...experience the finer things in a Voe."
"A Voe? What the hell is a Voe?"
"A Gerudo term for a man."
"Wait...so they leave town when they wanna hook up?"
"Yes, but they leave permanently once they get married."
"...woah."
"And they can kick your ass."
"Might need to check them out later." Yang said to herself before smirking a little. "So what do they look like?"
"Tall, tan, have vibrant red hair, and are semi muscular."
"Damn, that's hot." Yang smirked before drooling a little.
"Don't do that, they might take offense."
"Wait? Really?"
"Would you enjoy some strange woman drooling over your appearance?"
"..."
"I thought so."
"Still, they seemed hot." Yang muttered to herself before realizing something. "Wait, do you guys have any weapons I can have?"
"Across Hyrule you can find all sorts of weapons, but sadly, due to the Calamity hitting most of them have been weakened and rusted." Purah said with a sigh. "But if you look around Hyrule Fields, you might find something that one of the many monsters left behind."
"Like a shotgun?"
"...a what?"
"A gun?"
"What's a gun?"
"You know, a weapon that uses gunpowder. The black powder stuff."
"Yang, we never made stuff like that. I should know, the Sheikah from a millenia ago never made stuff like that."
"Wait, you're telling me that you guys made Atlas levels of robots, with lasers, BUT you never made anything like a gun?!"
"We have magic for that, plus bows can work with the right spell."
"What about tanks?"
"Tanks?"
"Planes?"
"You mean Zonai technology? The only thing that can fly is a paraglider and it only works descending, not ascending."
"Motorcycles!?"
"Actually we do but Linky found the last one made by our ancestors."
"Great! Then where is it?!"
"...Linky accidentally lost that ancient artifact in the Gerudo Desert. Quicksand got to it while he was trying to find some ingredients for a soup he was making for the princess...didn't work out and now he just uses horses."
"Aw come on!" Yang cursed while groaning in frustration.
"Can you ride a horse?"
"No!"
"Well that presents a problem, but I do recall some Zonai technology scattered around Hyrule after the castle rose and the 'Gloom' started to appear. Maybe with your new arm, you can create a 'motorcycle' or something?"
"You want me to just make one from scratch using that weird stuff on the islands?"
"On the islands? What?"
"The ones I just fell from!"
"No! The land down here, the surrounding land is called Hyrule Fields. You can find something around here." Purah sighed. "You can go back up there on your own time, once you get a hang of things and find a weapon suitable for you."
"...oh. So any weapon around this place is good?"
"Yes, although personally, you can buy stuff too but given you don't have any Rupees, I think hunting for weapons scattered around the land might work at the moment."
"Well if you got any monsters that aren't the lion and are easier to deal with, just point me the way and I'll do the rest."
"...how good are you exactly? I mean as a 'Huntress'."
"I can take on Beowolves and Ursai in my sleep!"
"With or without weapons?"
"With my bare hands."
"...mmmmm."
"What?"
"Mmmm. I think a Keese, Bokoblin or a Lizalfos might be too much for you."
"Eh?"
"A Keese is a one eyed bat. A Bokoblin is a small reddish creature with a horn on their head that are pretty much...all brawn no brains. And a Lizalfos is a humanoid lizard that can camouflage themselves on almost any surface."
"Wait, did you just say I'm as weak as a one eyed bat?!"
"Well, you fought against Grimm right? Which to my knowledge are creatures that just kill for the sake of killing. Even the most intelligent Bokoblin isn't that bloodthirsty so they won't act like the Grimm you've been hunting in the past."
"Hey, I'm not weak, alright? Just show me what these guys look like and I'll show you what I can do."
"I just did and you're not weak. Just inexperienced." Purah said as Yang saw red, both figuratively and literally as her eyes glowed red and she stomped towards the door in rage. "Wait! You shouldn't go out now!"
"Oh and why not?!"
"Because monsters return to life at night and there are worse things out there!"
"I can take them!"
"So you can take out the undead and Poes?"
"...wait what?"
"The land at night gets overrun by ghosts and undead monsters."
"...uh..."
"So can you punch a Poe in the face?"
"...yeah, I think staying here might be a good idea." Yang said in defeat as her eyes returned to normal. "But I'm still going to find a weapon tomorrow, no questions asked." 'And hopefully find something to use in combat. I gave away that weird sword to...that weird altar thing and now I'm weaponless! So anything I find is free real estate for me!'
"Good, you can sleep upstairs."
"What about you?"
"I'm a night owl, I have a lot of research to work on."
"You sure?"
"I'm sure, so rest up and tomorrow you can get a weapon from the fields...with some guards-"
"No guards."
"Huh? Why not?"
"Because I'm not a fan of them. I can protect myself."
"...uh huh."
"You don't believe me?!"
"I haven't seen you in combat, plus it's just a precaution."
"I can kick major ass!" Yang frowned in anger.
"Yes, but you are weaponless and not accustomed to Hyrule."
"...no guards, please. I can handle it myself."
"Mmmm, very well." Purah sighed. "But just be careful tomorrow."
"Ok." Yang said while walking towards the ladder. "Oh, before I forget. How old are you exactly? Because I kinda have the impression you're...older than you look."
"Oh I'm a hundred and twenty but a youth experiment went faulty so for a while I was a kid." She said while smirking. "But as of right now, I'm at the perfect age."
"A HUNDRED AND TWENTY!?"
"Yep~"
"That...That..."
"Don't think too hard, just get some sleep."
"...alright?" Yang said while walking up the ladder, her face completely confused as her mind raced with equally confused questions. 'Wait, she's that old but...there's a youth portion that makes her de-age? Ow...my brain.'
(A few hours later)
The sun slowly rose into the sky as the Sheikah woke up from her makeshift bed on the ground, slightly dazed and tired as she slowly got up and fixed her shades.
Only to notice that the front door was wide open and parts of Yang's old attire was hastily thrown on the ground in a hurry.
"Oh no, she wouldn't." Purah muttered in disbelief while recalling a very dark memory.
One where Link ran into a pack of Lynels while...naked and holding a stick as a weapon.
'It took us days to heal him!' she thought before running out of the room.
Only to notice a tall fair skinned young girl with long bright golden hair sporting pale gold tips that went down to her ass, a curved cowlick sticking on the top of her head, two light brown hair sticks sticking out from the sides of her head, lilac eyes, a E cup chest and wide ass, an onyx skinned right arm with strange line-like marking going from her lower shoulder to her lower hip, thick rusted gold bands that went around her arm and wrist, five rusted gold rings on her fingers and long black nails, wearing a dark navy blue form fitting bodysuit with a light blue hue near the front, feet, fingers and elbows, a dark navy blue cloth over the mouth and nose, bronze gold lined layered pauldrons that went down the upper sides to her stomach and had a strange eye-like symbols sporting a tear shaped end on them, a light green cloth over her left side sporting several small triangle-like tassels at the ends and a yellow lining sporting strange symbols on the end, a long gray scarf that wrapped around her neck and down to her hips, a large red strange eye-like symbol sporting a tear shaped end on her chest, gray bandages around the lower arms that concealed bronze gold lined arm guards with a strange eye-like symbol sporting a tear shaped end, dark navy blue fingerless gloves, two black belts with silver lining and two gold buckles, a small brown pouch on the belt's left side, light black markings around the thighs, bronze gold lined greaves with red straps and adorned with a strange eye-like symbol sporting a tear shaped end, and light blue tabi-like shoes, running towards her from the gates.
And...holding a large dark bronze handled greatsword with runic letters running around the semi jagged blade and a shining ruby gemstone attached to the hilt, in her arms like a newborn baby.
"Look what I found!"
"W-Where did you get that?!"
"Oh this? I just found it near some 'Bokoblin' camp." Yang said with a shrug. "They were sleeping and I saw a stash of weapons nearby so...I took it!"
"Wait what?! But they have scouts! Lookout towers!"
"And apparently they were asleep, kinda like Uncle Qrow after a booze party."
"That...That...That was incredibly risky!"
"But I got...whatever this is."
"That's a Flameblade, it's a Goron blade imbued with the power of fire itself."
"Aw yeah! Now we're talking." Yang grinned with excitement before getting an idea and placed the blade on the table, her right arm glowing bright green. "And I have a great idea!"
Purah blinked as the blade, along with a nearby metal spoon, suddenly 'clicked' into place by a light green aura.
And...became a large blade with...a large spoon head attached to the blade's tip.
"Now it's a FlameSpoon of Doom!"
"Um..."
"Do you like it?!"
"It's...silly looking."
"Eh?! But this is a great weapon! I can spoon monsters to death with this thing!"
"Why would you want to do that?!"
"Because I want revenge on that Lynel for nearly killing me!"
"Why a spoon though?!"
"Because it just works?" Yang said with a raised eyebrow. "Back where I came from we have transformable weapons that can become other weapons. But both me and Ruby WANTED a weapon that had a spoon transformation function."
"Why?!"
"So we can eat bowls of soup and cereal." She said while Purah looked at her in flabbergasted disbelief. "We were kids when the idea hit us, even then I REALLY wanted a spoon weapon, just so I can scoop out the guts once I get my hands on that Lynel's oversized ass-"
"THAT'S A HORRIBLE IDEA!" Purah screamed in disgust and shock.
"Wait, why? It's a great plan!"
"Are you even listening to yourself?!" Purah yelled in disbelief. "Using a spoon to kill a Lynel?! That is extremely stupid and dangerous!"
"And the only weapon I have right now, plus it's a flaming spoon of doom! It will help greatly in battle!"
"You barely survived it yesterday!"
"But I can still give it a new one with this baby!"
Purah facepalmed while shaking her head in annoyance. "Just avoid the Lynels for now and just travel, hunt for items, get some training and please, for the love of the goddesses, don't spoon anything with that...thing!"
"Fine...way to ruin the dream of spooning monsters to death." Yang pouted sadly.
"Also, please don't tell anyone your name and just...act like Linky."
"Wait, why?"
"So the people of Hyrule won't go into a frenzy when they learn the rumors, which will show up one way or another, about his death are actually true."
"...ok, fair enough." Yang sighed in a huff. "So where should I head first?"
"Mmmm, your choice. Either you can head to the Zora Domain, Death Mountain, Gerudo Town, Rito Village, the underground depths, the 'sky islands' or anywhere else. It's all up to you."
"Got a map?"
"On the Purah Pad, I told you beforehand."
"...oh, kinda forgot there." She chuckled sheepishly. "In that case, maybe I'll get some practice fighting out around here before picking."
"Just be careful."
"Oh I will."
"And try to find a horse." Purah said while Yang looked at her in confusion. "Given the fact a 'motorcycle' isn't common in Hyrule, a horse might help in your travels."
"..."
"What?"
"...I um...have no idea how to ride a horse."
"It's not that hard. You just need to sneak up on one from behind and get on it. When it starts to buck, just hold on and have enough stamina to outlast it and then you'll have your horse."
"Ah."
"Just be careful what type of horse you find, some might be a little...different then normal."
"Like?"
"Stalhorses, dead horses that only appear at night and vanish at dawn."
"...this word gets weirder and weirder every time I learn more about it." Yang said with a groan before her eyes widened. "So can I mount other animals? Like bears, deers, foxes, stags, and boars?"
"...why would you do that? They aren't horses!"
"Well I figured I'd ask anyway since I'm still here!" She huffed in annoyance. "Plus a pal of mine named Nora RODE an Ursa to death! I kinda want to do that to a bear...without the whole 'to death' part."
"No! Just stick to the horses for now and if you're capable of that THEN you can attempt that, even if it might end up harming you in the process."
"Fine fine, I'll try a horse first." Yang grumbled before heading towards the door.
"Also, try to use that dragon spike you found for a proper 'fusion'. Dragon parts have innate ability to use magic, so try that instead of a spoon."
"Alright mom." The Huntress said before covering her mouth in surprise, although Purah was smirking at her in a teasing manner.
"Well you're not wrong, I do have the body for one." Purah said with a smirk.
"Ignore that! Ignore it!"
"Oh relax, it's not a bad thing to have a hot mom like myself."
"Lalalalalala!"
"Oh come now, is that any way to treat your hot Sheikah mother?"
"Stop talking!"
"Don't talk back to me, young lady. Mother knows best~"
"GAH!" Yang screamed in frustration before noticing Purah placing a wooden paraglider with dark brown fabric on her back.
"There, now you can glide safely with this paraglider. Just try not to get hurt out there."
"A paraglider?"
"It's in the name. It allows you to glide in the air or descend slowly. I recommend looking for gales, so you can actually 'fly' upwards." Purah said while patting Yang's back. "It will come in handy both with the Ritos and the floating islands."
"Wow, this is pretty sweet. Thanks." Yang said before heading towards the door.
"Any time, and come back soon, mother might have a few tasks for you."
"UGH!" She groaned before storming off, extremely annoyed and embarrassed at her own slip up.
(Some time later)
-Hyrule, North Hyrule Fields-
Yang slowly crouched low under the grass, keeping her eyes focused on a few horses several feet away from her.
Some of them seemed familiar to her, like the light brown and white 'Animaian Stallion' and the obsidian 'Valeian Palfrey, while others...just didn't seem to click in her head.
From horses that looked a little golden to horses that were rather meaty and horses that were pure golden white. All of these seemed like good options...but given her luck, she might get tramped if she just went in guns blazing like usual.
'I gotta find the perfect one for me...' She thought to herself while moving closer to a herd of multicolored horses, hoping to the gods that none of them sniff her location too early. 'One that's got some muscles on it and can handle my awesomeness.'
As the Huntress moved closer and closer to the herd, she failed to realize that a horse sporting a brown and white hide took notice of her and...through her hair was grass.
It moved closer, licking its lip and leaned down towards the 'grass'.
CRUNCH!
"YEOW!" Yang screamed as the horse clamped down on her hair, chewing without a care in the world as the Huntress screamed bloody murder at this 'blasphemy'. "THAT'S MY HAIR!"
As Yang kept on screaming in rage, a transparent blonde woman appeared right next to a tree, seemingly out of breath and panicky.
"Ok, this is the last of the timelines she would have appeared in. Dimension: 9899998723- 31.2 HOFRWBY...and I hope she's here. It took me days to-"
"GET OFF MY HAIR!" Yang yelled, grabbing the horse by the face and trying to pry him off.
RRRIP!
Only to lose half her hair in the process as Yang handed on her ass and saw the horse eating the rest of her 'sacred' hair like it was straw.
Her eyes widened, pupils dilating before her body began to slowly shake. "You...You..."
The horse stared at her before walking away, seemingly not realizing it might've pissed the 'weirdo Hylian' off a little.
"SON OF A BITCH!" She screamed, her eyes now blood red as her hair and right arm glowed a mix of yellow and light green. "I'LL KILL YOU!"
But as she was about to attack the horse out of rage, she failed to notice a massive black horse with a flowing oranglish crimson mane taking notice of her.
And was NOT pleased about her incoming attack...given this was ITS herd and as the stallion of this herd, it would NOT STAND!
It let out a snort from its nostrils before it started galloping at her.
"Oh..." the unseen woman muttered as the horse galloped towards Yang with righteous fury. "This won't end well."
CLOP CLOP CLOP CLOP CLOP!
Yang quickly snapped out of her rage induced state as she heard the sound of hooves coming towards her, and fast.
"NEIGH!"
"Oh you gotta be KIDDING ME!" She screamed as the horse charged right towards her, forcing her to book it as fast as she could. "He started it! I have a right to be pissed!"
"NEIGH!"
"FUCK!"
The invisible woman stood in disbelief as the blonde brawler ran across the fields, the stallion still on her tail as the woman's form started to fade into nothingness like the morning mist.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!"
Siiiiis.
"...um, I'll leave her alone for now. Maybe come back when...I better understand what just happened." She said while looking at the screen. "So until next time, I bid-"
KAPOW!
"AHHHHHHHHH!" Yang screamed as the horse knocked her to the side with its head, falling on her face before-
POW!
She was kicked by its hind legs, right on the ass to be exact, sending her flying into the sky and towards a nearby hilltop.
"AHHHHHHHHH!"
"...bid you adu." 'Og gods, that was painful!'

Bio: In this timeline, set in the unique and newly discovered Hyrule Remnant Cluster, a set of timelines dangerously close to the Zeldaverse and have merged the two realities history and concepts in various ways, the Y of Team RWBY, Yang Xiao Long, would experience a strange 'occurrence' during her trip on the Argus Limited during the tail-end of the Battle of Haven...which was the fact she vanished from the train and only her clothes and prosthetic arm remained to tell the tale...yet she didn't die nor did she get kidnapped by the Grimm as many rumors would tell in the future of Dimension: 9899998723- 31.1 SMDRWBY. For Yang, unfortunately for her, was sent to another timeline, known as Dimension: 9899998723- 31.2 HOFRWBY, or as it's classified in the Zeldaverse, Dimension: 4092- 78 HOFLOZ, a world that borders between the RWBYverse and the Zeldazerse's barriers within the Hyrule Remnant Cluster itself...and is set far into that timeline's future, towards the Great Sky Island where she discovered that her arm was replaced with a unnatural powerful arm from the former king of Hyrule, Rauru, and that...she wasn't in Remnant anymore. The reason for this was due to Rauru accidentally overusing his powers to summon Yang from her reality instead of saving the Hero of the Wild, Link, from the Gloom...which unfortunately resulted in Link's death as without Rauru's intervention, he would fall into the Depths beneath Hyrule and...go splat on contact with the ground...killing him instantly. Due to this...very weird and unfortunate development, Yang was kinda forced to step to the plate and become the Hero of the Wild, although even after sending the shards of the Master Sword, Link's personal weapon, back in time via the Temple of Time...she had no idea HOW to accomplish her task and started wandering Hyrule without a goal or plan, unknowing of the land's customs and monsters until she made it to Lookout Landing, where the Sheikah helped her get caught up to speed about their world. However, due to a rumor involving Link's death circulating across Hyrule, Yang was forced to 'pretend' to be Link as a precaution so she wouldn't be killed by an angry mob...resulting in her having to wear a mix of the Archaic clothes she was found wearing upon her arrival and some Sheikah attire to keep both her modesty, given her new clothes weren't made for a female form, and identity safe as she traveled across the land to find a way to return to Remnant and to keep Hyrule from falling to the rising threat of the Gloom/Malice from under Hyrule's very soil. From being chased by a murderous Lynal while weaponless, fusing a spoon with a Flameblade, trying to ask the Sheikah known as Parah to add technology to her right arm out of homesickness, flirting with the Gerudo and failing miserably, taking on the Yiga Clan and their 'dominatrix clad pervertedness' ways, keeping a straight face in front of the 'nudist' Zora and Goron tribes, finding out that her aura can reverse the properties of the Gloom/Malice to make herself stronger and accidentally mistaking the Ritos as faunus...Yang's many adventures were rout with danger given her inability to use weapons outside Ember Celia and her inexperience with a blade, yet with Flaming Spoon Sword in hand and the power of King Rauru's right arm, she would try to become this new world's heroine...despite the fact she's constantly feeling like she's a false hero to the people she's trying to help. However, in time she will discover the ancient power of magic that Remnant now lacks, gain a crush on the current queen of the Gerudo, Riji, and eventually, protect the world from its greatest villain...but for now, its baby steps for this heroine...the Hero of Fabrication, Hyrule's bombastic and loudest savior!
