The air smelled... stale. A sense of gloom permeated the air. The wind was cold, not unbearably so, but cold enough to feel uncomfortable on a freshly burnt Bakugo's skin. The young hero stirred from his slumber as he groggily rose to meet the cloudy gray sky. He looked over himself, and found that his injuries weren't to severe. Nothing he couldn't walk off, anyways. His costume on the other hand, was a pale comparison to what it had been. The arm sleeves were gone, and the pants were completely torn, giving off a sense that he'd been mauled by something.

He brushed himself off and looked around at his surroundings. It looked like he was back at UA, but something was off. The school was supposed to be harboring civilians and protecting them from villains, but instead it was... empty? Not a soul in sight as he looked up at the massive structure. Campus looked normal, if not a bit gray. He decided to head inside the building, surely he could get some help and fresh clothes. His first instinct was to head to the Nurse's office to take care of the soreness he felt just about everywhere, but no one was there. In fact, no one was anywhere. Not home room, not the principals office, not the cafeteria, not even in the courtyards. The school was never empty. Someone was always around, even when it was closed, so to see it this empty was unnerving.

He clenched his hands a little tighter, preparing for a possible fight, when he felt something in his palm. The green gem he'd stolen from the mysterious skull was still there, still glowing a dull green. The rest of his memory from the incident came back. He tried his quirk, just attempting a small pop. Nothing. The freak had truly stolen his quirk. He felt a tightness in his chest. A shortness in his breath. The world become hazy for a moment. He had truly lost his quirk. The one thing that had made him special was gone, and now what was he? He clutched the gem tighter. There had to be a way to get it back. He just needed to find help.

Bakugo continued his search across campus until he found himself at the dorms. Again, not a soul in sight. He even knocked on a couple rooms just to be sure. Absolutely no one was here either. Maybe they were at the training grounds? It could've been a class day or something. He headed there, and finally, a familiar face. Ochako Uraraka was not someone Bakugo was overly familiar with, but a certain deal of respect was felt between them. She was the only one to put up a real fight against him in the Sports Festival, and he respected the hell out of her for that. She appeared to be practicing with her quirk, as many concrete slabs and chunks floated in the air. She was in her hero costume, and Bakugo could see the back of her brown hair facing him.

"Yo, Round Face, where's everyone at?" Bakugo asked. No response. "Hey! I'm talking to you. Where's Aizawa, I need to talk to him and probably see Recovery Girl as well." Again, nothing. What the hell is her problem? He walked up to her, getting annoyed. He grabbed her shoulder and she seemed to jump under the contact. That's when he saw it.

Ochako turned around and he saw what was wrong. This girl had no face. Literally. Large, gaping holes sat where her big brown eyes usual stood, and her mouth was slack. She looked to be almost a zombie of the girl he knew. As she moved, blood began to trail from the corners of her mouth as she opened it to speak.

"B... Bakugo..." A raspy voice called out, her raspy voice. "R... R... Run..." She spoke softly. All he could do was stand in horror. Her grotesque facial features had not ended at the face however, as he noticed she was missing her right arm, as the torn costume had hidden the bloody truth. He wanted to help her. He was supposed to help her. He was a hero. So why was he running?

He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, slipping over himself several times in a manic attempt to get away. He made it all the way to the door, never taking his eyes off his classmate before tripping over something. He stumbled over and looked at what he'd tripped over. There was Tenya Iida, another classmate of his, also in full hero garb. Well, almost full hero garb, the legs were missing. This one wasn't as censored, as the boney stumps of legs the boy possessed were nagging out of the armored pieces of costume. This one too had hollow eyes, giving Bakugo only a brief look at the face.

The explosive blonde wasted not time hightailing it out of there, once again running full speed through campus. That's when he started seeing it. Students, friends of his, all hiding wherever they could, if they weren't horribly mutilated that is. As ran back through the school building, he caught glimpses of students he knew. Mina Ashido, the bubbly pink colored student was reduced to a pale color, peering just barely behind a door. Denki Kaminari, the electric idiot, seeming flashing in and out of existence in a classroom. Even Minoru Mineta, the purple pervert himself had his own grotesque form hanging from a tree outside.

Bakugo picked up the pace, the fear fueling his adrenaline. He bursted outside, nearly knocking the school's front door off its hinges as he ran, before a familiar voice called out to him.

"What are you running from?" Bakugo tripped and fell once again, mere steps from UA's gates. He turned to the source and saw his old friend, Izumi Midoriya, in the flesh and unaltered. He looked different, perhaps a bit skinnier, as if he never buffed out after middle school. But he was there in a school uniform, green hair and everything, sitting on a bench by the gates of the school. "Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Bakugo was helped up, and looked into the eyes (thank goodness there were eyes) of Izuku. Without thinking, he threw his arms around him, holding him tightly. "Whoa, hey, its good to see you too buddy." Izuku said in a calming manner.

"I- I- I'm happy you're okay." Bakugo struggled as he spoke, rubbing his face before continuing. "Something awful has happened to our friends. And I've been through so much trying to get back. Please, you've got to tell me what's going on."

Izuku just kept a hand on his shoulder, attempting to soothe him. That's when Bakugo took a second look at him. Something was off. Why were his eyes yellow? And why was he smiling like that? "Izuku?" Bakugo attempted to back away when he felt the hand on his shoulder keep him from moving. "What's going on? Let go! Why are you smiling like that!?" The panic returned as Izuku's smile spread to an impossible degree without opening his mouth.

"Oh Kacchan, the chase really was fun. I hope you weren't expecting a lighter sentence because you finally decided to come to me." Bakugo ripped himself from Izuku's grip as he stared at the boy's deteriorating form. The boys limbs started to grow long and grotesque, his sclera fading to reveal only beady yellow eyes, the smile continuing to grow on his face. "In the end, however, this has always been my hero academia, hasn't it?"

Bakugo stood in horror. Off instinct, he'd raised his hand to blast the faker away, but nothing happened. His quirk was still gone, and he was left with nothing to defend himself against the monstrous Izuku. He couldn't run anymore. He was tired of running. Tired of fighting. It was all he could do to stand there and brace for whatever sick, twisted punishment Izuku had planned. A large clawed hand was raised to strike him down.

But the attack never came. A loud bang shook him out of his fear as he saw... himself?

A taller, older him had his hand held out, blasting the monster in the face with a massive explosion. The older him had a similar costume to his own, if not a little simpler. Gone were the grenade gauntlets, and the costume was much less flashy. If you consider a bandolier of grenades across the chest less flashy. Following him were three more familiar faces. Mirio Togata, AKA Lemillion was soaring out of the ground dealing a massive blow to the monstrosities chest. He too was in hero gear, although the costume was the same to his original. Bakugo could recognize those scarves from anywhere, as his eyes trailed from the gray band wrapped around the raised hand to the wielded, it was his teacher, Aizawa, AKA Eraserhead.

The fourth was an unexpected member as an old member of the league of villains made his way up to Bakugo with a first aid kit slung over his shoulder. The leaguer was only wearing his mask as the rest of his attire was casual clothes, apart from the measuring tape weapons he kept around his wrists. The villain (?) walked up to home with a bandage in hand.

"Hey, are you injured? Of course he's injured, dumbass, look at him!" Twice spoke. "Hey you look like the boss! Are you kidding!? Their two completely different people!" He contradicted himself. Bakugo was stunned as Twice began wrapping bandages around the boys arms. As Bakugo's senses returned to him, he pulled away from the aid.

"Hang on! Aren't you with the League of Villains!?" Bakugo asked incredulously, though he realized this might not be the best time to be asking this.

"The league of what now? Ah yes, the League of Villains, I remember them. Sorry sir, I have no idea what you're talking about." Twice said. "Wait, yes I do, and yes I was! It was a long time ago. Not long at all actually." The former villain had to place hands over his face and breathe before continuing. "Sorry, its been a while since I've had to pretend to be normal. The League of Villains is in the past. Everything has to be after he took over."

Bakugo tried to absorb this as Twice continued patching him up, placing bandages and gauze over his mostly exposed legs. "Who took over?"

"It appears you've met. That guys a fake, no way they have!" Twice continued, wrapping a bandage around Bakugo's forehead. He pointed to the fight happening between the three heroes and the monstrous Izuku. "He one day decided to take over. No one remembers exactly when it started, but some say it was on the day a sludge guy attacked. Idiot, it was clearly the day after. Anyways, he started attacking people seemingly at random until there were few left. He hurt them anyway he saw fit and spread his influence across the world, until either everyone was a zombified shell, or a subject of his if you were lucky. Now we just try and resist in anyway we can. We win every time! The casualties stack up each day." Twice finished as he taped the last bandaid on Bakugo's cheek. Just in time too as the fight appeared to be wrapping up.

With a final blast, the monstrous form of Izuku started melting. The freak spoke in a distorted voice as it melted. "You can't run forever. I'll find you."

The older Bakugo stared at him for a moment. "...Shut up." He said with a final blast, destroying the creature. The heroes dusted themselves off, as older Bakugo turned to Twice and younger Bakugo. "Twice, patch the old man up." He demanded. "You." He pointed at Bakugo. "You've got some explaining to do."

"Let me make sure I'm hearing this right. You are me from another universe, and in that universe he isn't a bloodthirsty murder monster and you two are friends? And you got sent here from that world via a strange villains quirk?" Bakugo finished. He crossed his muscular arms, staring at the younger ones orange eyes. "It's certainly more far fetched than he could've come up with. Which leaves more questions than answers really." He huffed.

Younger Bakugo held his breath. He really was not ready to go back out there. The five of them were in an abandoned warehouse, lit only by candles spread through the building. They had called it a safe house, one of hundreds spread across the city. The older him was perched atop some boxes, not wavering in his judgmental gaze on his younger self. Aizawa and Twice were sitting across from them, with Aizawa too holding a red glare at the younger boy. Mirio was on guard duty and wasn't currently around.

"I've kept my gaze on him for a while. I don't sense any quirk. Or lies for that matter." Aizawa said in a bored manner, finally blinking and dropping his quirk. "I tend to know these things, as crazy as the kid's story is, he isn't lying."

Older Bakugo scoffed. "Fine, you can stay then. For now."

The younger him sighed in relief. "What was that out there?" He finally asked.

"That was our old pal Deku." Older Bakugo started. "Back when we were younger I pushed him around a lot. I guess one day I pushed him too far and he snapped. He stopped showing up to school, stopped showing up anywhere. No one could tell what happened to him until the disappearances started happening. First it was nobody's off the street. Then minor heroes started disappearing. Then one fateful day All Might had to face off against All For One in a city leveling battle. That was when he finally showed himself. I can remember it like it was yesterday."

"I had been kidnapped by these jerks known as the League of Villains. They were hoping to convert me to a villain, but the heroes showed up right before things got nasty. Unfortunately, that meant All Might had confront his greatest foe, and the two dukes it out in the streets of Kamino. Both appeared to be on deaths door when he showed up. Without a word, he tore through All Might and All For One in an instant, and seemingly absorbed their powers. That's when he made his grand announcement as the whole world watched in horror."

"He declared to the world who he was and what he intended to do. He told them that those who submitted would be shown 'mercy,' and those who wouldn't would meet a fate worse than death. He told them all that his coming was inevitable, and there was nothing they could do to stop him. He said that those who had wronged him would be shown a special hell, and that All Might was only the first in a long line of people he was coming for.

"Without another word, began his systematic raid through the world. He started in the city, taking out large groups of people at a time, making sure to show his power in the most graphic way possible. Overnight, cities like Tokyo and Kyoto became covered in the blood of his victims. Then he took things international, tearing countries apart like they were paper dolls. No defense was strong enough to defeat him. No army mighty enough to take him down. Even nuclear weaponry proved futile. Finally, UA became the last bastion of hope for us. It seemed he was saving it for last, and those of us with enough luck and power made our way there to prepare for our final stand."

"Finally, after he'd had enough of the world, he came back home and prepared to finish us off. The staff, students, heroes, and even villains fought with all their might, but even they were not enough for the unrelenting force he wielded. A handful of us escaped with our lives and went into hiding, and now we're here, cowering with no way to fight back. He has eyes everywhere and ears everywhere else. The only reason the rest of us aren't dead is because he enjoys the chase. He wants me to see everyone around me dead, and leave me the sole survivor. It's his perfect victory." Bakugo finally finished with a sickening tone.

The younger him felt nauseous. Was Izuku really capable of this? Could he have become so terrifyingly strong if Bakugo had just bullied him a little further? Was this his role in every universe? To be the one that makes him worse? He was starting to feel this way, and it was making him feel worse. He dropped to the ground, trying to process all of this. As Bakugo sat there thinking this through, Mirio popped out of the ground with a worried expression.

"More Fakers are making their way here, we need to move." Mirio said. The older Bakugo gave him a nod before jumping down and reaching a hand down to his younger counterpart.

"You heard him, we're leaving. Come on. I'll take you to where the rest are left." The older him spoke.

Bakugo took his hand and asked, "Why are you all afraid to say his name?" The older him held him firmly by the shoulder.

"Let's get one thing clear. You don't ever say his name. He can tell when someone says it, and then that'll be it. He'll appear before you can do anything, and you'll be another corpse in his kingdom. Don't say it, got it?" Younger him just gave a knowing nod, fearing the alternative.

This world was horrible in a different way. No bullshit magic here. No mean and strange fantasy people. No this world was much more cruel. It felt designed against him in a way that wasn't even winnable. And if there was one thing he hated, it was game he couldn't win. He swore to himself that he would find a way out of here, no matter the cost. As he did, a new thought entered his head. Something needed to be done about this world, and he wanted to help.

He couldn't leave a broken world behind. Not after the last one.

"They got away again? Why do you keep letting them go?" A girlish voice asked.

"Oh Himiko, its more fun to chase. Let them run and think there's a way to make it out." Izuku said, standing atop UA and basking in this world he perfected. "The new Bakugo may have just what we need to liven up the party a bit."

"But you could've killed them right here and now, why let them go?" The blood covered blonde asked.

"Because, my dear, the new one bled all over my palace." He said, pointing to the bloodstains covering the courtyard that an injured Bakugo left behind. "Now be a good dog and hunt them down for me." He said with a sinister smile.

"Yes, my king." Himiko spoke in a sickening voice, before hopping off the building and getting a scent for the blood. Everything he wanted was so close, but something new and exciting presented itself. There were other worlds out there, exactly like his own. Other worlds that needed him.

Other worlds that had yet to be complete.

Before y'all ask, this one isn't from any story on this site (I don't think), this one's mine. Villain Deku stories always end in him either being redeemed or just don't end. I decided we needed one a bit simpler. Sorry if the gore was a bit much but I was going for a scarier tone with this chapter. Also sorry for the delay, college is back in full swing and I've been busy. I look forward to what y'all think as this story keeps moving forward. Expect us to catch back up with Canon Izuku next chapter, along with possible new character from other stories maybe?Till next time!
