Episode 5 No Time Left
The scene shows the train outside of Savannah and the town full of walkers hoarded around. In the morgue, the group (Lee, Jimmy, Christa, Omid, Ben, Doug, Carley, Johnny, Lola, and Bucky) are inside trying to find Clementine and Petey. Lee realizes that they are somewhere else in the city. Lee and Jimmy are talking with a woman on the walkie-talkie.
Lee: Please don't hurt them.
Gary: Hurt them? That was a funny response.
Jimmy: You're dead, Gary. I will kill you, do you understand?!
Gary: I know you will. Even Petey and that little girl know too. Say goodbye...
Clementine: Goodbye...
Petey: Clem! No-
The call ends, and Lee and Jimmy look at each other in disbelief.
Jimmy: Gary, you little bitch! Answer now!
Lee: He better not hurt them.
Christa: This is bad, but we can deal with it together. We're going to need to hurry.
Bucky: Don't worry, guys. We'll get to them.
Jimmy looked at his left wrist, which had a walker bite mark.
Lee: Is your hand okay, Jimmy?
Jimmy: Not so great. I can feel my hand start to feel warm, and it's thumping a little bit.
Bucky: And you're still alive. That's something.
Lola: True that.
Johnny: We don't have a lot of time, Jimmy. We have to do something about your hand.
Jimmy: I know, Johnny.
Suddenly, the horde of walkers can be heard from the sewer; the group turns their backs, and the walkers are approaching the door.
Doug: Oh no, they're coming.
Bucky: Walkers!
Carley: We all make sure those walkers won't get in. Try to find another way out of here.
Lee: Okay, but I need a backup.
Christa: Bucky and Jimmy can help you out.
Bucky: Okay
Some of the group (Christa, Omid, Carley, Doug, Ben, Johnny, and Lola) guard the door to prevent walkers from getting in while Lee, Jimmy, and Bucky try to find a way out.
Jimmy: So, how do we get out of here?
Lee: Hmmm. I noticed that there is an elevator over there. Maybe we can use that.
Jimmy: But we need something to pry open it. The elevator cannot open itself without electricity.
Bucky checks the cabinets for some tools and finds a rib spreader.
Bucky: Hey guys, I found a rib spreader. I know it looks like a carjack, but this one is used on the human body. Kind of scary tho.
Lee: Ugh, I don't want to imagine this being used on a body.
Jimmy: Ugh…
Bucky gives Lee the rib spreader.
Lee: We can use this to pry open the elevator.
Lee, Bucky, and Jimmy go to where the elevator is. Lee puts the rib spreader between the elevator doors.
Lee: We'll have these doors open in two seconds.
Bucky: Let's make it fifteen seconds
Jimmy: Shut up, Bucky.
Lee uses the rib spreader to pry open the elevator door. Lee managed to open the elevator door, but Jimmy suddenly felt dizzy.
Jimmy: Uhhoh…hmmph…
Lee notices Jimmy starts to feel woozy.
Lee: Jimmy, Are you okay?
Jimmy passes out from the bite's infection.
Lee: Jimmy!
The screen fades to black. The voice can be heard in the background.
Omid: Christ! What the hell happened?
Christa: It's the bite.
Bucky: And getting spread to him.
Carley: What can we do now?
Lee: We don't know... Help us move him!
Minutes later… The voice can be heard in the background again.
Omid: Do you think this is a good idea to cut a teenage boy's arm like that?
Johnny: Maybe.
Doug:… Jesus, are you sure this can stop the infection?
Johnny: We really had no choice anyway.
Christa: Johnny's right. You've got any better ideas than this?
Lola: Nope.
Jimmy slowly opened his eyes, and he saw Lee holding a bone saw and preparing to cut off his arm.
Lee: I'm sorry, Jimmy. It's now or never.
Jimmy: What are you doing?!
Bucky: Stop! He's awake! He's awake!
Johnny: He's bitten; we've still got to do something.
Omid: So?
Johnny: So, cutting his arm can save him! Or at least buying him some time!
Bucky: But THIS way...
Carley: Do we know it works?
Doug: We're not sure about that.
Ben: Is there going to be a lot of blood?
Johnny: It's gonna be a lot of blood, you idiot!
Ben: Okay, you don't have to shout at me.
Lola: What if he dies?
Lee: Then we will go find Clementine and Petey without him and get the hell out of Savannah.
Carley: If there's any chance this saves his life, we have to take it.
Lee: I'm not sure about that. I was going to be afraid he would lose too much blood.
Jimmy: Let's do it. Maybe it'll work.
Lola: Are you sure about this?
Jimmy: Yeah.
Christa: It's a big risk.
Omid: Yeah… We're down here without a lot of options.
Jimmy: Screw it. Cut it off.
Carley: Are you serious about this?
Lee: Yeah.
Bucky: Then, let's do it.
Jimmy puts his left arm on the table. Johnny held Jimmy to ensure he stayed still while Lee cut his arm.
Lee: Jimmy, It'll be over before you know it. You gotta get through.
Lee should look at the bone saw, grab it, and prepare to cut Jimmy's arm. Jimmy's heartbeat started to go fast as he never prepared for this.
Johnny: It's going to hurt, but you can get through this, Jimmy. You're tough as nails.
Lee: I'll go as fast as I can.
Bucky: It was a lot easier when he was passed out.
Lee: Okay, fine!
Jimmy: Faster would be good. Look, you're going to want—AHHHHHHHH!
Lee begins to cut off Jimmy's arm, which grosses out the group. Jimmy could feel a cold sharp steel pierce tearing at his skin, slicing it open like tender ground meat Jimmy's eyes burst open, nearly bulging out of their sockets as he felt his blood starting to flow out. The taste of blood flooded his nostrils. He could feel his skin tear apart, splitting open so easily
Jimmy: AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Jimmy screamed, trying to pull away, but Johnny tightly held Jimmy still preventing him from moving.
Johnny: Tried to stay still!
Bucky: Gross!
Lola: I think I'm going to puke!
Carley: Oh god!
Jimmy: AARRGGHH!
Lee: Gotta tighten the tourniquet to stop the bleeding!
Lee still chops off Jimmy's arm through a painful process.
Jimmy: LEE, IT HURTS!
Lee: But you wanted this!
Lee is still cutting Jimmy's arm, which makes it more painful.
Jimmy: AHHHHHH!
Jimmy, too drained to even feel any pain at this point, started to pass out again and the screen faded again.
Minutes later, Jimmy wakes up and sees that his left arm has been chopped off and is fully bandaged.
Jimmy: Oww, Ugh, it hurts...
Then the group ran to him.
Lee: Gosh, you're alive. We were worried that you weren't coming back.
Johnny: You're lucky Lee and I did you such a favor.
Carley: How are you feeling?
Jimmy: It's weird. I feel like I feel my fingers still. I can feel them, I'm curling them into a fist!
Doug: Maybe it's some side effect. I don't know much about this one.
Christa: Do you think you'll be able to travel? You lost some blood.
Bucky: Jimmy is the toughest kid, we know he can handle that.
The group hears the horde of walkers from the door and tries to break in.
Jimmy: Yeah.
Bucky: Okay, the elevator's open. Let's go!
As the group goes to the opened elevator, Lee says to Jimmy
Lee: You'll bring up the rear; I don't want you to bleed on anyone.
Jimmy: Okay.
The group enters the elevator, and there is a ladder.
Lee: Aw Jesus.
Christa: We're going to have to go as quiet as possible and see if we can make it out to an empty floor or even the roof. You think it's possible for you?
Jimmy: Yeah. Get goin'.
Lee: Will you be okay, Jimmy? Do you need any help?
Jimmy: No, thanks.
Lee, Jimmy, and the group begin climbing the elevator shaft of the hospital.
Omid: You okay down there? Remember, quiet?
Jimmy: It's not a big deal. The other arm would just get in the way.
Carley: Oh god, Jimmy.
As they are climbing, they can hear the noise, which turns out to be overrun by hordes of walkers on the inside and out.
Lee: Oh man...
Doug: Let's hope they won't hear us.
Suddenly, a walker from the top falls to the ground.
Jimmy: Look out!
Ben: Oh shit!
Johnny: Shut the hell up, Ben!
Lee: Oh man, oh jeez… Everything okay up there?
Ben: I think I just peed myself.
Bucky: Really, Ben? What are you? 5?
Lee: So yes, then.
As Lee and the group climb the ladder, Jimmy notices an open elevator door with a large horde of walkers in a room. Jimmy tries to ignore it and climbs the ladder until he and the group arrive on the roof.
