A pure and perfect multiverse.

A fist drove into his gut, causing spittle to escape his mouth before he retaliated with a slash of his pink-tinted blade.

One free from taint.

His blade was intercepted by his assailant's yellow one, causing his teeth to grind together in rage.

Free from sin.

An arm the size of a truck, oozing purple liquid, drew back before firing with the force of a freight train. His opponent attempted to dodge yet seemed to underestimate the speed of the limb, taking a glancing blow as he grunted in pain and leaped away.

Free from mortals.

The fusion of Zamasu and Goku Black chuckled as Vegito, the fusion of Vegeta and Goku, retreated.

"It's almost pitiful, really. Even though you've combined your powers in a pathetic attempt at mimicking the gods, your power still pales in comparison to a true deity."

The mortal fusion barked a short laugh. "Oh, is that so? How many times over have I killed you again?"

Zamasu frowned. "The number does not matter, saiyan. I am an invincible deity, death is not a consequence I need fear. The same cannot be said for yourself. Your time will run out, your fusion will cease to be, and you and all of mortal kind will follow soon after." His arms rose from his sides, basking in his divine glory. "And when all is said and done, when the dust finally settles on this polluted world, I, Zamasu, The Sup-"

The fused fighter lurched forward in pain as a fist buried itself elbow-deep in his gut before his attacker delivered a spinning heel kick on his deformed face, sending the demented fusion into a half-spin. Before the corrupted god completed his rotation, a white-gloved palm materialized in front of his face.

"Big Bang Attack!"

A brief flash of blue light coated the area as the blast carried a screaming Zamasu a distance away before detonating in a flash of white light.

"Sheesh, you sure do talk a lot. And here I thought you would have learned after your first monologue."

A throat-tearing roar echoed throughout the area, dispersing the smoke and dust from where Vegito's attack struck.

"RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHH!"

The gargantuan, corrupt form of Zamasu became a beacon of purple and magenta aura. His shout seemed to grow in volume, his saiyan half granting more power as his rage reached a crescendo.

"HOW MUCH MORE!? HOW MUCH MORE HUMILIATION MUST I WITHSTAND?! I AM A GOD! NO, THE GOD! THE ONE TRUE DEITY! YET, TIME AND AGAIN, I AM MADE A MOCKERY OF BY THE FILTH THAT STAINS MY MULTIVERSE!"

Vegito sighed as the would-be god once again launched into another tirade. "Man, the ego on this guy. I mean, if he insists on leaving himself open yet again, who am I to stop him?"

"I WON'T STAND FOR THIS! NO MORE!"

Zamasu's mutated hand shot forth, grabbing the kick the saiyan fusion had tried to sneak in. Vegito's eyes widened in surprise at the sudden increase in speed.

"NO MORE!"

A loud CRACK echoed as Vegito let out a cry of pain, the bones in his left leg being ground under the god's vice grip. The world around him abruptly blurred as he was thrown into a crater in the ground. The fusion felt the force of the attack launched his way before he saw it. Using his good leg, he leaped to the side as a giant purple fist cratered where he once was.

Vegito glanced back, glaring at the demented fusion while doing his best to focus on anything but his ruined limb.

"Hehe… haha… What's the matter, VE-GI-TO?" Zamasu queried, purposefully sounding out each syllable of his name. "Don't tell me you are too afraid to face your god now that he's decided to get serious?"

Whatever had remained of egotistical kai had been swept away by madness. The look in Zamasu's eye, at one point having shone with intelligence, had given way to madness.

Vegito came to a stop mid-air, trying to devise a strategy in order to finish off the god once and for all. Antagonizing him had made the situation worse, it seemed.

Whatever plan he attempted to think of was shot out the window when Zamasu, with a bloodthirsty grin, literally appeared in front of him. The two non-corrupt fingers on his forehead revealed the cause.

A sonic boom sounded as the god's free hand crashed and crushed into his ribs. Blood and saliva shot out as he was sent flying into the husk of an office building, his disturbance causing the structure to collapse on top of him.

He lay there, blood trailing down his chin as he let out a sigh of resignation and disappointment. "I really thought Vegito Blue would do the trick. Oh well."

Zamasu chuckled to himself. Finally, he wouldn't have to bear the shame of retaking damage from that pathetic fusion again. His body had gained strength from his anger, which in turn had led to his total domination. His chuckles quickly descended into a hoarse cackle as his dream had just overcome its final hurdle!

That laughter quickly died as he spied streaks of blue light emitting from the rubble. A voice, Vegito's, called out in need, drawing out what had to be the fusion's last dredges of power. It was almost sad, really. If Zamasu had the patience, he might have felt pity for the wretched warrior. But alas, this god's patience had long dried up.

The mad god extended his enlarged fist, intent to send his Holy Wrath to silence the fusion once and for all.

"KAIOKEN!"

Kaiowha-

His teeth clashed with the force of two cars crashing, with a sound reminiscent of such, as a swift uppercut landed faster than he could physically see. That was just the beginning as a storm of punches and right-legged kicks rained upon him. He tried to defend himself from the barrage, but the cyclone of red-tinted blue proved to be far stronger and much faster than any sort of defense he could muster.

His brief tenure in combo hell ended with a final kick, sending him skyward. The brief flight was stopped when a sword of energy pierced his chest and suspended him in mid-air.

Zamasu craned his head forward, the damage he sustained slowing the movement more than he would have liked. Vegito, coated in red and blue, hovered a few meters away, his hand extended and looking more smug than he had any right to.

"So… Up or down?"

Zamasu grit his teeth. "What ar-"

"Down it is!"

He didn't get a chance to respond before the blade piercing his chest rapidly spun before hurtling him towards the dirt below, a crater being left in his wake as he crash-landed.

The deranged deity stumbled to his feet as his body desperately tried to repair the damage sustained. More purple sludge dripped off his form as his immortality did its best to keep him in one piece.

Outrage surged within him once more as his power responded to his need. A clack of a boot touching down drew his attention to his opponent meeting the ground, balanced on one leg, with his arms crossed and a self-satisfied grin on his face.

"Let's say we wrap this up here. I've got other things I've got to do today, like lunch with my wives, maybe some training. After I get my leg all patched up, of course, nothing that a little senzu won't fix."

Zamasu's nails dug into his palms at the nerve. Treating him, the supreme deity, the immortal, invincible, immaculate ZAMASU, as if he were some chore or plaything to take care of before going about his day! How dare he!?

"Fine." He ground out. "If you wish to die to my hand so soon, then I guess I can answer your prayer."

Maybe if they hadn't been so occupied, they would have noticed the cracks forming in the air around them.

Gowasu and Shin could only sweat at the level that the two powers had reached. Both fusions had appeared to reach their limits repeatedly yet seemed to constantly have more to give. When one power would gain the upper hand, the other would instead. It had bounced back and forth a few times now, but it seemed that Vegito had been the one to emerge the victor in terms of raw power.

Shin let forth a nervous and hopeful smile as he spoke. "They did it! They might be able to actually destroy him now!"

Gowasu, however, was far from optimistic. "Maybe, but I'm not sure it will be such a good thing."

"W-what do you mean?"

Gowasu swallowed nervously as he felt the very air around him vibrate with the amount of power being output by both combatants. "You're a fairly young kai, so you can be forgiven for not realizing it, but take a moment to feel the atmosphere around us."

Shin paused before his pupils became pin-pricks as sweat poured down his face. "W-whats going on? The universe, n-no, this entire dimension i-its-"

"Shaking apart." Gowasu finished.

"But how?" The Supreme Kai of Universe 7 pleaded.

The Kai of Universe 10 hummed. "Tell me, the saiyan, Goku, how strong would you say he is?"

Shin wore a look of confusion. "I'm not sure why that matters."

"Just answer, please."

"Well," Shin thought back to when Beerus had woken up. "A while back, he and Lord Beerus had a spar. Grand Elder said that at the time, their attacks had enough power to potentially destroy all of Universe 7."

Gowasu's frown deepened as he saw purple cracks appear in thin air at the sight of the current conflict. "Then it's just as I feared."

"What is it!? Please, tell me!"

"...When Zamasu merged with Black, it created a diety of near unrivaled power. When he was backed into a corner, his rage granted him a boost in strength. As a result, Goku merged with Vegeta, his equal in power, creating Vegito. Ever since, these two fusions have been pushing their already inconceivable powers to far greater heights. Vegito Blue was already at a level I never thought possible, I'm surprised that the magic of the potaras has even held this long. As a result, Zamasu's power grew even more in an effort to match his opponent, causing Vegito to use his current technique."

Shin gulped. "You mean…"

Gowasu nodded. "As Vegito multiplies his already seemingly unlimited power and causes Zamasu to lose himself in an attempt to contend with him, it creates a centralization of raw power far more substantial than whatever fight Lord Beerus and Goku had."

He frowned as cracks spread in the air once more. "And I'm afraid this universe just doesn't have the means to contain this kind of energy."

Vegito's dual-colored aura flared to life as he cupped his hands in front of him.

"FINAL!"

Zamasu snarled as he formed a large Holy Wrath in his grotesque hand before condensing it down.

Vegito's hands then cupped at the hip, his aura bathing the area in a crimson glow.

"X20!"

Zamasu grinned savagely as the Holy Wrath reached the size of a soccer ball. His mutated arm closed around it as his fingers kneaded against his palm. Energy coursed through his fingers as he fueled and condensed the attack further.

"LAST!"

"KAMEHAMEHA!"

"JUDGEMENT!"

Both beam techniques surged forward, engulfing anything and everything in their path on the direct collision course for each other. Vegito's attack was a blue center with a red shell, and large bolts of yellow electricity danced across its surface. Zamasu's attack was a wave of pink, wearing a purple shell over it. It pulsated with power as it eventually clashed with its target.

Zamasu wanted to say it was even, or better yet, that he was winning. That was not the case. His technique was swallowed immediately by the more potent blast.

"WHAT! THIS CANNOT BE!"

His eyes widened as he brought both hands to catch the blast trying to engulf him. The rogue Kai's feet dug trenches in the ground for what could have been miles as he desperately held the attack burning his palms.

He screamed in outrage as his power soared again, making his hair flair up further than the Rosé form had before, not that he noticed. Neither did he notice the magenta bio-electricity dancing around his form nor the cracks forming in the air around him due to his rising power.

Zamasu finally slowed to a stop as he held the blast. It still pushed him back, but not nearly as much or as fast. He growled as he tried to overwhelm the blast, to call on more power to put this mortal in his place!

He roared as he tried to bring forth more energy, to take his body to even greater heights of divinity! His aura flared as he called on everything he had left. He brought it to bear, ready to-

A loud shattering sound, like glass, followed by a large explosion.

Vegito raised an eyebrow as his attack detonated, leaving behind a shattered hole in the very fabric of this dimension. The blast's location looked like someone had thrown a large boulder at a window painting, in which there was nothing but pure darkness. Jagged cracks were strewn across the hole, with pieces of their universe seeming to fall into the inky expanse, like shards of glass that didn't have the strength to hold on anymore.

Before the fusion could question this turn of events, a white light consumed him as he split in two. Both Vegeta and Goku fell to two sides, the younger saiyan grabbing his leg with a hiss of pain.

"D-Did we get him?" Goku asked painfully.

Vegeta took a moment to catch his breath, sensing for any sign of their nightmarish opponent. After detecting nothing, he grinned. "It would appear so."

The pure-hearted Saiyan let forth a relieved chuckle. "Good, 'cause I could really go for a senzu and nap right about now, hehe."

Vegeta huffed as he internally agreed.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!"

Zamasu screamed in agony as whatever void had consumed him did its best to rip him to shreds. His immortality appeared to be the only thing keeping him from being wiped from existence. That didn't change the fact that it hurt. Instead, it made the pain worse, as it could never end.

His body was mutating rapidly, his healing factor desperately trying to overcome the destructive nature of the void. His right leg, which had not shown any signs of mutation before, had shredded through his clothing and matched his arm.

"YOU IMPUDENT MORTALS WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU'VE DONE! I WON'T REST TIL I DESTROY EVERYONE IN THE COSMOS!"

His screams echoed in futility into the infinite expanse.

Until he hit something solid. Something pressed into his back, a feeling like being pressed against a wall. He immediately pulled his gargantuan arm forward and drove his elbow into the solid mass behind him, desperate to find an escape from the void that continuously tried to devour him.

The first strike seemed to shake the infinite expanse. The second gifted a crackling noise not unlike glass. The third and heaviest strike shattered the dimensional wall behind him, and he fell.

The falling sensation was brief. After the wall gave way, the mutated god crashed into a structure of some kind. Wooden beams and bricks fell upon him, pummeling the god but ultimately doing nothing more than irritating the deranged deity.

Zamasu recognized the building materials that fell, noting them to be distinctly human. He was back on earth!

"VEGITO!"

He rose swiftly, intent to engage his fused opponent once more. Only… that would appear not to be the case.

Zamasu's towering form looked in shock and awe at what stood before him. Primitive buildings surrounded him, built from wood and stones. A castle stood tall a distance away, seeming to overlook this city he found himself in.

That wasn't what caught his eye, however. Indeed, the thing that stood out the most regarding this expanse of structures was its populous.

Humans. Humans stood around him, staring in blatant terror at his massive mutated form. All wore some type of primitive wear. Several humans wore metal armor, wielding swords and shields; others had drawn bows of all things in response to his horrific visage. A few even manifested attacks in their hands that seemed to be fueled by some sort of energy.

He wasn't on Earth anymore. That much was evident by the lack of destruction Goku Black had left in his wake.

Zamasu's teeth ground in frustration. "It seems we missed a spot in our extermination of the multiverse and for it to be humanity of all things. Well, allow me to rectify my mistake."

On another part of the planet, a gold, horned humanoid figure stared nervously into the distance. A power unlike anything before had literally appeared out of nowhere. He could sense it. While its power wasn't infinite like his nor his brothers, its raw destructive potential was on another level.

A wisp of purple smoke appeared to his right as his brother, a purple, horned humanoid, emerged.

"So, you do sense it." The God of Darkness stated.

The God of Light nodded, a grave expression on what human features he had. "I do, I've never seen anything like it. Its power is not only vast but-"

"Divine." His brother finished.

"Yes."

"Well," His brother spoke, smooth confidence radiating off of him. "As much as I may not like the idea, how about we pay our guest a visit? Together."

For his brother to be the first to suggest cooperation signaled just how seriously he was taking this threat. And while the God of Light wished to resolve this peacefully if possible.

A flash of light briefly blanketed the horizon as he felt numerous of his creations disappear.

That may not be an option.

Another story. As of right now I'm 0 for 3 on stories I've written on this website as for some reason whenever I hit chapter 4 my brain goes kaput. That being said, Every time I start a new story I notice a substantial improvement in my writing, so at least progress is being made.

For those of you who have read OLAD and are curious on the progress of chapter 4, the story is on hiatus, NOT cancelled. I've just had difficulty actually writing a chapter I feel satisfied with. Should I be starting a new story as a result? No, but its my hobby which I enjoy doing so eh.

Also, this is my first attempt at writing something in the third-person perspective so please forgive any mistakes.

I hope you all enjoyed the brief fight between Zamasu and Vegito I wrote(Last Judgement was an original attack I made up), I'm partially using this story as an effort to spread my wings and gain more experience in writing, combat being one of them.

Let me know what you all think by leaving a review, whether that be you hate my story, or love it be sure to let me know. I always love reading peoples thoughts on my work.

Next Chapter release: When its ready.
