Leia hurried to the briefing room of the Resistance. Images flashed through her mind.

Dropping off a screaming Ben at Luke's Academy.

Finding out that Ben had attempted to kill Luke, causing her brother to go into exile.

Learning that he now served Snoke, with his new name, Kylo Ren. The Resistance'

But all she could think about was waking up this morning to a message on her comlink from General Dameron.

"General, there's something you need to see. It-it has to do with your son. We contacted your husband and Chewie, but we can't wait."

So now, General Organa was running through the halls of the Resistance like a madwoman.

She entered the briefing room, filled with Rose, Poe, and Finn. Her closest comrades.

"Let us see it already, Poe!" Rose was saying.

"Not until-oh-General Organa! I didnt expect you to get here so fast?" Poe said in shock. Leia noted his forehead was damp with sweat, hands shaking slightly.

"Well, get on with it." Leia said.

"We have been tracking down First Order defectors and what they do after leaving. We set up cameras at their houses. Audio and visuals from every room."

He clicked a button.

"Maz sent this to us after she combed through the files on Takodana. This was yesterday."

The table lit up with a blue hologram of a small hut. At first nothing happened, but then the door opened. Out stepped Ben, or whatever he was calling himself nowadays.

Leia's eyes widened in shock.

He wore all black, lightsaber clipped to his belt, his expression blank. He then smirked after a few minutes of standing there patiently, going back into the hut.

"Kira!" He called.

The camera switched, so the audience could see Ben walk back inside, shutting the door. He checked the bedrooms of the sparse place, looking for whoever this 'Kira' was.

"I'm back here, Kylo!" a female voice called.

Kylo ran out to the back of the hut, revealing a shiny, expensive cargo ship. Kylo walked over to the small feet sticking out from underneath and grabbed them gently, pulling a young woman out.

Leia gasped.

Her hair was in three buns atop her head. Freckles splattered her tan skin, and she too wore all black. She reached out and called a lightsaber to her hand, pinning it to her belt.

"There were a few repairs to be made." She said matter of factly, clearly annoyed over his intrusion.

"We had to leave an hour ago to make the shipment. You want to eat, don't you?" Kylo asked.

"I'd rather work on the ship."

"Beat me in combat and you can."

Kira shed her jacket and boots, throwing them to the side while Kylo slipped off his jacket, revealing heavily scarred arms. Kira's own weren't better.

Kira grinned and activated her lightsaber. Two red blades came out on either side. Kylo activated his own crossguard, them both slowly walking around each other while getting farther from the ship.

Kira charged with an evil grin, but Kylo casually blocked her.

"Gonna have to do better than that, sweetheart." He said casually.

Kira bared her teeth and tried attack after attack, both of them evenly matched.

Eventually, they got caught in a lightsaber lock, and both their weapons went flying into the woods.

But they didn't stop.

They both immediately began throwing punches and kicks. Kylo got Kira in a headlock by holding her hair, and scratched her cheek roughly, drawing blood.

Finn and Rose gasped. Poe shivered slightly.

Leia couldn't look away.

Kira put both her hands around Kylo's wrist and twisted it. He gritted his teeth with a low grunt as Kira called her lightsaber back to her hand, glazing Kylo's arm, causing the flesh to burn. He called back his own lightsaber, Kira's meeting him close to both their faces.

"Give up yet?" Kylo asked, threateningly.

Kira answered with a kick to the crotch.

Leia heard Poe wince.

But Kylo didn't seem fazed, using the force to choke the air out of her.

She struggled for air, but then mustered her own strength, blasting Kylo into a tree.

They both fell onto the ground panting.

Rey caught her breath while Kylo staggered to his feet. He touched the back of his head, drawing a little blood. He quickly rubbed it onto his shirt.

He walked over to Kira, helping her up. She pushed him onto the ground. Kylo put up his hands in mock defense, yielding. Kira grinned before lying down next to Kylo. Putting his arm around her waist as they both fell asleep, forgetting about the shipment.

"Get us to Takodana." Leia said.

Leia touched down on Takodana. Leia walked out, knocking on the door.

No answer.

She was just about to turn around and head back to the ship when she heard two lightsaber beams activate. She turned around to see a feral looking Kylo Ren putting his arm in front of Kira with a toddler in her arms. With her other hand Kira held her double bladed lightsaber, mirroring Kylo's stance as best she could.

"GO AWAY." Kylo shouted. Leia could only stare. They hadn't seen their son in over ten years. Kira started moving forward, licking her lips at the idea of a fresh kill. The toddler, black wavy hair with freckles, opened her eyes wide. But instead of fear, as Leia would have expected, there was only excitement plastered onto her young face.

"You have 10 seconds." Kira stated. Kylo nodded in agreement.

"Son-" Leia started.

"YOUR SON IS DEAD." Kylo yelled. "GO. AWAY."

Desperate times call for desperate measures. Leia grabbed her comlink, hovering her finger over a red button.

"Let us stay for three days and I won't turn you into the Resistance." She said.

Kylo scoffed while Kira spit at their feet over the long distance. The toddler laughed.

"We could wipe out an army in one day-" Kylo started.

"But what about the First Order finding out?" Leia said. "What about Snoke?"

Kira bared her teeth, while Kylo stiffened. His face a lighter shade of pale.

"You wouldn't." Kylo said.

"I would," Leia said, "If you would escort me inside please." She gestured to the door.

Kylo and Kira clipped their lightsabers to their belts, seething. Kira put their child down.

"I don't like her Momma." She whispered to her Kira. "She make Dada angry."

"Me neither, Cass." Kira said, glaring at Leia. "Just go to your room. Fast."

Cass ran into the house clearly using the force to heighten her speed. Kira entered next followed by a scowling Kylo.

Leia stepped inside. The hut was very minimalistic. Kylo hung both his and Kira's cloaks on a hook, then went to sit on the floor, a low table in front. Leia mirrored him.

Kylo and Leia had a staring contest until Kira came back with bread. She broke the massive loaf in half, giving one to Kylo who put his on the table untouched. Kira, clearly not fazed by his reaction, dug in.

Leia noticed the stitches in Kira's cheek and scar down Kylo's arm from where he had been burnt.

"That's your child." Leia stated.

"Yes." Kylo answered coolly.

"And what's her last name?" Leia asked smoothly.

Kira started to rise out of her seat, but Kylo held her down. She took another bite of bread.

"Cass Ren."

"No Organas or Solos."

"Over my dead body." Kylo said.

"I want the full story. Now." Leia said, gesturing between the two of them. Kylo didn't make a sound. "Or else the button."

Kylo sighed. "Kira and I were both a part of the Knights of Ren. We both ran four years back, and came here. You happy?"

"Oh, very." Leia said with a grin.

Kylo started to growl with anger but Kira placed a hand on his shoulder, lowering him back down.

"Dada!" Cass exclaimed, running into Kylo's lap. She started on his piece of bread.

Kylo's eyes softened as he ruffled her hair.
"How old is she?" asked Leia.

"Five." Said Kira.

Leia stayed in thought for a second. "You had her in the First Order?"

"Yes." Kylo said, "We ran after Snoke took an interest in training her."

"Fuck Snoke." Cass said confidently, her eyes growing yellow.

Kylo grave a lopsided grin of affection.

"Don't you dare mess this up for us-" Kira started.

"-I wouldn't dream of it." Leia interrupted, "As long as you comply with my demands."

"Which are?" Kylo asked.

"Three days. I stay in the Millenium Falcon. Get to know my son, daughter-in-law, and grandchild."

"We're not married." Kylo said.

"Three years is longer than most. You are in my book." Leia said.

Kira nodded to Kylo. "Agreed." He said.

Leia went back out to the Falcon that night and ate her own dinner, when she came back to the hut. She was shocked to see Kira open the door, with glowing yellow eyes. They quickly turned to brown at the sight of Leia.

"Sith ritual." Kira said quickly, as though that would explain everything. Leia walked into the room with Kira. Kylo sat with Cass in his lap. He rolled his eyes at Leia, and opened his arm to Kira, who sat snuggled into his side. A triangle floated in the air.

None other than a sith holocron.

Leia had heard Luke mention them but never seen one in the flesh. Kylo and Kira started chanting in what must have been Sith. Their voices echoing throughout the hut. Kylo nudged Cass at one point, who chanted where they left off.

They all opened their eyes at the same time, glowing yellow. Then, they all started pushing each other away roughly, standing into fighting positions. Leia backed away.

Cass kicked Kylo in the shins, who was too busy trying to punch Kira to notice. Kira kicked Cass in the stomach. It looked horrible, but Leia saw the way she outstretched her hand to lighten the blow.

Kira then took the upper hand in her battle with Kylo, she dragged him against the wall, not noticing in her delight when Cass came up behind her with a knife, planning to strike her mother's calf. Kylo ripped the knife from Cass' grip, holding it to Kira's neck. Kira yielded, sitting back onto the floor with Kylo and Cass. They all sat while the holocron floated down, then opened their matching brown eyes.

"Well?" Kylo asked, looking at Leia.

"Well, what?" Leia said, trying to catch her breath after the scare.

"What you think lady?" Cass asked, smiling, "You liked it?"

"Um…yes. I did very much."

Cass just grunted as Kylo lifted her up.

Kira showed Leia a spare room. She then followed Kylo and Cass to the master bedroom, shutting the door behind her.

Leia woke in the middle of the night to screaming. She rushed down the hallway, before stopping outside of the master bedroom door broken off its hinges. Leia heard Cass in the kitchen munching on food, and looked into the room to find Kylo comforting Kira. Kylo wore loose sleeping pants while Kira wore one of his long shirts. Leia was reminded of her early days with Han.

"Grandfather will kill you." Kira whispered in a daze, while Kylo stroked her back soothingly.

"No, he won't." Kylo said firmly, placing a kiss to Kira's head. "I won't let him."

"Don't leave me." Kira whispered, hugging Kylo tighter.

"I won't," Kylo replied, putting a finger under her chin so he could look at her face.

Cass snuck up behind Leia, and ran in between her legs to her parent's bedroom.

"I made you food mama." She said happily using the force to float a piece of fruit over to Kira. Kira shook her head. But Kylo took the fruit from her and brought it to the front of her mouth. Kira took small bites while Cass came around and sat in between her parents. Before long they were all asleep, huddled up together.

It looked so domestic to Leia.
