Bonnie had to make sure that Foxy or Freddy didn't find out about his plans Chi tomorrow. He knew if they knew then they would want to tag along. He wasn't going to let that happen as he was going to make sure that this time, he would end up getting the girl.

"Hey guys," Foxy called as he walked into their shared apartment.

"What's up Foxy," Freddy asked as he was sitting on the couch reading a newspaper.

"Check it out," said Foxy holding up a flyer for the fair.

Bonnie froze realizing that this could ruin his chance with Chi. Freddy took the flyer from Foxy to get a better look.

"A fair, huh," he said.

"Yeah," said Foxy, "maybe we could take the girls, Freddy."

"You mean like a double date," Freddy asked.

"Yep," said Foxy, "it could be fun."

"I guess so," said Freddy, "but what about Bonnie?"

"I have plans on Saturday," Bonnie replied, "you guys don't have to worry about me."

"Okay then," said Freddy, "I'm in."

"Alright," said Foxy, "this will be fun."

This could make things complicated.

Bonnie had made sure that Foxy or Freddy didn't see him head for the fair. He had waited for them to leave before leaving himself. This was his chance to get the girl and he wasn't going to let anything ruin that no matter what.

He pulled into the parking lot to see Chi waiting for him at the entrance. He let out a deep breath before exiting the vehicle.

"Sorry I'm late," he said.

"That's fine," said Chi, "the others are already inside."

Just great, now everything is ruined.

"I told them that I'm waiting on you."

They know that I'm here which means I'll never hear the end of it. I can't blame her; I didn't tell her not to say anything.

"Is that so?"

"Yeah, for some reason they decided to go ahead."

Bonnie thought that was strange too. Normally he and the other two would be hanging out. Did Foxy and Freddy realized that he was planning on spending time with her alone?

"Anyways," she said, "should we head inside?"

"Right," he replied.

"Hey Freddy," said Foxy as they walked down toward a ride, "ya sure that this is a good idea?"

"You know him as well as I do," said Freddy, "if he doesn't tell us something then it usually means that it's something that he wants to do by himself and besides, you know how he feels about Chi."

"I guess you got a point," said Foxy.

"Now come on, the girls are waiting."

"Hey wait up!"

Bonnie and Chi walked around the fair deciding what they should do first. He saw a shooting game that he liked to play. Chi noticed the look on his face as he looked at the stand.

"Do you want to play that game," she asked.

"I kind of do," he replied.

"Well then let's go."

They made their way to the stand. Bonnie placed down some cash and grabbed one of the guns. The staff member stepped aside to let him play. Bonnie held the gun up to his line of sight. He imagined himself in a deer stand watching a deer that was in his cross hairs. He slowed his breathing as he took aim.

He remembered his father's words about shooting. He kept his eyes on the target. Chi stood there watching him. She noticed how focused he was on the target. She thought of a solder getting ready to shoot down his target.

Bonnie pulled the trigger and hit his target surprising everyone. The staff member stood there with wide eyes. No one had ever made a shot like that. Bonnie lowered the gun from his shoulder. It wasn't the best gun that he had ever shot but it was decent.

"Not a bad on the recoil," he said, "but I've dealt with better rifles."

The staff member snapped out of his shock before getting the largest prize that was in the booth. He handed Bonnie a giant purple rabbit plush. Bonnie thanked him as he turned to Chi with the large plush in hand.

"Wow," she said, "that was amazing. Where did you learn to shot like that?"

"In my hometown, hunting is really big there," he explained, "I've spent several months on hunting trips."

"With Foxy and Freddy?"

"Yep, as well as Foxy's father."

"I see, you're a really good shot."

"Thanks."

He handed her the plush. She blushed as she took it from him. He smiled down at her finding her face to be adorable. They continued to walk around the fair. They decided to try a ride next.

They waited in line as they got to the ride. Bonnie could see the others walking along. He knew that if Foxy and Freddy were planning to on having a day with the girls then they would be distracted but what about Chica and Mangle, that he didn't know.

They made it onto the ride with him help her on before climbing on himself. He sat down beside her as the tea cups started to move. He grabbed the wheel in the middle before he spun it as fast as he could. She laughed as they started to see who could spin it the hardest.

The ride came to a stop, and he helped her get down before making it to the exit. They decided to do the big drop next. They got in line and watched as the ride went up and down with the passengers screaming as the ride dropped.

"You sure that you're okay with this one," he asked.

"Not really," she replied, "I usually have a hard time with this kind of ride."

He reached over and grabbed her hand. She looked up at him as he gave her an assuring smile.

"I'll be right beside you," he said, "if you start to feel scared then grab my hand, okay."

"Okay," she replied giving him a smile.

He nodded to her as they moved toward the ride. They got on and the ride started. She closed her eyes as they went up. She felt his hand reach out and grabbed hers. She opened her eyes and turned to him. He smiled at her as he squeezed her hand. She smiled back as she fel the fear spilt away from her.

"I got you," he mouthed.

She knew that was true. He wouldn't let her get hurt. He proved that when he saved her on the day that they met. The ride dropped and she gripped his hand tightly for assurance. Bonnie squeezed her hand to assure her that he was still here.

The ride finally stopped, and they got off. She was a little shaken up but thanks to Bonnie, it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

"Maybe, we should take a break from the rides," he said.

"Yeah," she replied.

They walked over to a basketball game. Bonnie set more cash down to the corner. The balls appeared in front of them. They started shooting at the baskets. Chi wasn't having the best of luck while Bonnie was making shot after shot.

"Looks like I win," he said.

"You're taller than me," she whined making him laugh.

"That's not how it works. I've seem some short guys that can shot and make a basket."

"Well, I prefer cheerleading anyways."

"Oh really?"

"Yep, I was a cheerleader in high school."

"Why haven't you joined the squad back at the college?"

"They haven't had try outs yet."

"Oh."

She giggled at his face thinking that he made the cutest faces. They walked off to try some more games. They tried to knocking down the bottles which Bonnie was able to knock them easily. She wasn't surprised as he was a star pitcher.

They walked away to get some funnel cake. Bonnie paid for it and they sat down at a picnic table. She giggled as he got some powder sugar on his upper lip. She took a napkin to wipe his mouth.

"Do you always make a mess when you eat," she teased.

"My mom said that same thing," he replied while blushing.

"Well, I think it's cute."

She realized what she just said and blush. They looked away from each other still blushing before they decided that they were done. They tried a few more games before they got onto the Ferris wheel. They made it to the top as the sun was setting.

Chi noticed that she could see the river where they first met. She smiled as she remembered that day where. He and the others had helped them with their grill and then he saved her from drowning. She remembered how she felt afterwards. She wished that she had been conscious when his lips were on hers.

"One heck of a day, huh," he said.

"Yep," she replied, "I had fun."

"Yeah, I did too."

"Maybe we should do this again next year."

"We should, but not as friends."

"Huh?"

He leaned forward capturing her lips with his. She sat there in surprised for a moment before returning the kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around her waist. They stayed there kissing as the Ferris wheel slowly moved.

They pulled away smiling at each other before they kissed again. This was the best part of the whole day.

Bonnie pulled up to Mangle's home which was a mansion. It was still hard to believe that Mangle was from a rich family. He wouldn't think that someone as kind as Mangle would come from a wealthy family. He parked the car just outside the gate.

The guy that was watching the gate, looked up from his newspaper. He nodded to him before opening the gate for him. Chi sat in the front and waved to him with a smile on her face. She was use to this as she would come here to hang out with Mangle sometimes when they were little. Bonnie drove through the gate and down the long driveway that could've been its own road.

They pulled up to the large mansion. He parked the car and they climbed out and headed toward the front door.

"I had fun tonight," she said holding the large rabbit plush under her arm.

"Me too," he replied, "I'll see you at school."

"Right, I'll see you at school."

They kissed goodbye before he got back into his car. She waved goodbye was she watched him drive off down the long driveway. She smiled as she realized that finally after so long they were a couple.

I'm so glad that you return my feelings, Bonnie.

#

Bonnie drove down the road when his phone went off. He looked to see that it was Foxy. He pressed the answer button. He had the phone on speaker and sitting a stand that he put into the car himself.

"Hey bud," he said.

"Hey man," said Foxy, "Freddy and I just got back. Where are you?"

"I'm on my way back."

"Cool, so how did it go?"

"I think that I just got the girl."

"Awesome man, we're glad to hear it."

"You have me on speaker don't you."

"Hey Bonnie," Freddy called in the background..

"Hey Freddy."

"So, you and Chi are a couple now," Freddy asked.

"Yep."

"That's so cool," said Freddy, "so tell us how did that happen?"

"I'll tell you when I get back."

"Fine whatever man," said Foxy, "hey listen, Freddy and I are talking about taking the girls to our small-town during break."

"Oh really, have you asked the girls yet?"

"Not yet," Foxy replied.

"We wanted to run it by you first," Freddy added.

"I would like that. I know that my mom and brother would love to meet Chi."

"Same here with my folks," said Foxy.

"I have no doubt that my brother would want to meet Chica," said Freddy.

"Isn't it electing year for your brother, Freddy?"

"Yeah, I know but he might want to meet my girlfriend. Fred had already told him about her," said Freddy, "even though he didn't ask me first."

"Yikes."

"Anyways," said Foxy, "we'll let ya go. We'll see ya when you get back."

"Okay, later guys."

"Later," said Freddy.

Bonnie ended the call as he came to a stop light. He had to admit that city life wasn't so bad after all. Especially since he now has a beautiful girlfriend.

I'm starting to like the city.
