Being a woman,

Soo I wrote this when I was like 13 or 14 it was one of my first time writing.

Being a woman is difficult. The moment a girl is born, families rejoice or start mourning. A girl who is raised differently comes with a different set of rules specially made for her, this applies to both girls coming into this world, which will break them and force them to question their existence. A girl is taught from a young age to always be on the lookout, to watch out for what she's wearing, not too tight, not too revealing, never be out alone at night, not too much makeup, don't smile at everyone, don't smile too big, don't take drinks or pay too much attention to any man. And many more cause God forbid he could follow you home or take you to ally way, or force you in a car, cause you're a woman need to have protection with you at night like a maze, alarm, walk fast, be on the phone "just in case" cause God forbid you'll feel save walking to you car or walking home. Just cause am born a woman doesn't mean you have an immediate invitation to my body, just cause you call me pretty doesn't mean YES just cause I smile at you, or doesn't mean you can follow me home. STOP taking my EXISTENCE AND BODY AS A YES. MY BODY. MY RULES. NO IS NO.
