It had been a few weeks since Bonnie had saved Chi from drowning and now they would hang out together along with their friends. She sat there watching as the boys played basketball. Bonnie jumped passed Foxy to dunk the ball.

Foxy cursed under his breath before he went at Bonnie. Freddy tried to block Bonnie from making a basket. Bonnie jumped up into the air making a basket. Foxy growled as the ball went in. Bonnie bounced the ball and went passed Freddy.

Fred: Freddy's little brother, who was also at their college was having a hard time keeping up with the older boys. He wasn't cut out for sports unlike the other three boys. Freddy tried to get the ball but Bonnie was too quick.

"Damn it," Foxy cursed, "he might as well being playing by himself."

"And here I thought that his skills were only for baseball," Freddy said as he was huffing.

Foxy ran after Bonnie as he growled. Bonnie smirked at him before passing the ball to Fred. Fred knew that he was in trouble as his older brother was in his path. He knew that he couldn't beat his brother. Fred ran with the ball in hand.

He tossed the ball to the side as he didn't want it. Foxy had managed to get the ball and ran across the court. Bonnie had appeared behind him and snitched the ball from him from behind. Foxy growled as he ran after him. Bonnie ran toward the basket. Freddy cut off his path. Bonnie grabbed the ball and spun in the air to get passed him. Bonnie threw the ball into the air.

Foxy jumped up to catch it but it ended up going into the basket before he could grab it. Bonnie smiled as he was declared the winner by Cindy. Fred sighed with relief as the game was over.

"How is it that you're that good," Foxy groaned.

"I don't know," said Bonnie with a shrug, "I'm just lucky, I guess."

"That wasn't luck," said Freddy, "Bonnie, you should try out for the team."

"You know, I'm more of a baseball player than a baseball player," Bonnie replied as he threw the ball to Foxy.

Chi sat there watching them talk. She was impressed by Bonnie even more now. It had been a few weeks since she met him and every time she got to spend with him: she fell in love with him even more. She could hear her best friend and sister talking but she wasn't paying attention as her eyes and thoughts were on Bonnie.

He's so amazing.

"So, what now," Foxy asked as he caught the ball.

"Don't know," said Freddy, "let's get a smoothie or something."

"That sounds good to me," said Bonnie, "let's see if the girls want to tag along."

"Good call Bon," said Foxy, "I can use some more time with my girl."

Foxy and Mangle started dating after a while. It was the same for Freddy and Chica. Bonnie smirked at his two best friends. He knew that would make them happy. They walked toward the girls with Fred and Cindy walking behind them.

''You ladies want to grab some smoothies," Foxy asked.

"Sounds good to me," said Chica.

"Sure," said Mangle.

Chi looked over at Bonnie before she gave her answer. Any chance to be with him: she would take. They made their to Foxy's jeep and Bonnie's car. Foxy, Mangle, Freddy and Chica got into his jeep while Bonnie, Cindy, Fred and Chi got into Bonnie's car. They drove into town as they talked. Cindy, Fred, and Bonnie were talking about their life back at their hometown.

Chi sat in the front seat and glanced over at Bonnie as he drove. Cindy laughed as Bonnie said something about their hometown that was so true. They arrived at the smoothie stand. Bonnie pulled up onto the side of the road. He made sure that there weren't any of cars coming their way before exiting the car.

The others exited the car and walked over to the stand. Cindy and Fred ordered their drinks as Foxy pulled up. Cindy and Fred paid for their own smoothies as Chi went to order hers. Bonnie walked over to order his and told the clerk that he was paying for his and Chi's.

He paid for the smoothies once he walked away. Chi was about to pay for hers when the clerk had mentioned that Bonnie had already paid for hers. She blushed at this as she looked over at Bonnie. The others ordered as they got their smoothies.

They sat down onto a picnic table. Chica and Cindy were talking about their classes, while Foxy and Freddy were talking about a game that they watched last night. Fred and Mangle were talking about a book that Fred had been reading. Chi was business playing with her straw as she glanced over at Bonnie.

He was looking at his phone for some reason. She looked away to look down at her smoothie. Why couldn't she just tell him how she feels about him. He was right there, and she could just go for it.

Bonnie took a sip of his smoothie as he continued to text his little brother. He chuckled at a text that his brother at sent them. He looked up as he heard Foxy call out to him.

"What ya doing there Bon," he asked.

"I'm just texting TB," Bonnie replied.

"Oh, really," said Freddy, "how's he doing?"

"He's doing okay," Bonnie said, "apparently, my mom is going to be in town for an interview."

"Cool," said Cindy, "maybe we can meet her."

"Probably," said Fred, "if she's not too busy that is."

"I'm sure that she'll want to see her son," said Freddy, "no doubt about that."

"Who's TB," Chica asked.

"Bon's kid brother," said Foxy, "he's actually Mangle and Chi's age."

"Oh really," Chi asked.

"Yeah, he worked and lives back our hometown," said Bonnie, "he's not the type that would go to college to begin with."

"He hates school," said Freddy.

"Even though he could benefit from it," said Fred.

"There you go again," said Cindy rolling her eyes.

"Maybe we could meet him someday," Mangle asked.

"That could happen, if you girls don't mind visiting our small town," said Bonnie.

"We might be able to do that," said Chica.

"Sweet," said Foxy, "if you ever come to our town then you should come by the cliff face. It's a really great view and plus you can swim in the river below."

"Isn't that dangerous," Mangle asked.

"It's not that deep," said Freddy, "it'll be fine."

Bonnie held up his glover as the ball came flying toward him. The ball hit his glove as he caught it. The batter had walked away dragging his bat behind them. Bonnie waited to the next batter to take the plate. Another batter walked up to the plate and looked at him as he put the bat over his shoulder.

Bonnie adjusted his hat before throwing the ball. The batter swung but missed the ball.

"Strike one!"

Bonnie's friends cheered. Chi sat next to Mangle as they watched the game. Cindy was taunting the batter from her seat. Foxy cheered on his best friend as he caught the ball. Bonnie threw the ball again. The batter hit the ball and ran toward the first base.

The first base man caught the ball and tagged the player before he could even make it to the base.

"You're out!"

The batter groaned as he went back to his teammates. Bonnie caught the ball as the third batter came up to the plate. Bonnie turned his hat backwards as he gripped the ball tightly.

"Come on son," the coach called out, "strike this guy out and we win!"

"Oh, Bon is getting serious," said Foxy.

"Either way, we'll win the game," said Freddy, "our team is ahead by five points."

Chi watched as Bonnie managed to get the first two strikes on the batter. She held her breath as she placed her hand onto her chest. The others continued to cheer Bonnie on. The batter and Bonnie's eyes met before he threw the final pitch.

The batter swung but just came short from hitting the ball. The whole school went wild as they had won the game. Bonnie sighed with relief as this meant that they were going to the play offs. The team ran onto the field as they cheered.

Bonnie held up his hat as he waved to his friends. His eyes landed on Chi's smiling face. He couldn't help but smile back at her. He had been regretting the fact that he had suggested that they be friends: he wanted something more with her than that.

Freddy and the others got to their feet and cheered. Foxy whistled while Cindy shouted out in excitement. Chi watched as Bonnie was surrounded by his teammates. The team ended up lifting him up onto their shoulders as they chanted the school's name.

Bonnie waved to the crowd as he was being carried off. He kept looking back at Chi while he was being carried off.

"Let's go," said Fredd.

The group stood up and made their way out of the stadium. The school continued to cheer as they exited the stadium. Chi looked around for the team in hopes of seeing Bonnie. She saw him talking with a group of girls that seemed impressed by his skills.

She could feel jealous as she saw this. The girls were asking him if he was single. She knew that other girls were attracted to him. He looked up to see her standing there.

"Excuse me," he said to the girls.

He walked away from them. Chi smiled at him as he approached. The girls were watching them from where they stood. They were giving Chi a death glare.

"Hey," he said.

"Hey," she replied, "you were great out there."

"Thanks."

"I was on the edge of my seat the whole time."

"Really?"

"Yeah, you're a really good pitcher."

"Thanks."

"You're welcome."

"Um, listen…I was wondering if you weren't busy on Saturday then maybe we could hang out. Ya know the fair is in town."

"I would like that, I'm sure the others would like that too."

"No, I meant just you and me."

"Oh…"

"I mean, you don't have to if you don't want to."

"N-no, I mean, I would love to."

"Really?"

"Great, then Saturday?"

"Saturday."

"Okay, I'll be looking forward to it."

"Me too."

"Hey Bon, there you are."

They looked to see their friends walking toward them. Bonnie smiled at them as they came toward them. Foxy put him into a headlock and rubbed his knuckles on top of his head.

"Hey, Foxy let me go," he cried.

"Why would I do that," Foxy teased, "Mr. superstar."

"Get off me," he said shivering him off.

The others were laughing at them. Chi smiled at the two friends as they started play fighting. Freddy had to get between them before it turned into a real fight.

"Come on," he said, "just go get some pizza."

"Sounds good," said Bonnie.

"Yeah, let's get out of here," Foxy replied.

They walked to the exit. Bonnie and Chi looked at each other with smiles on their faces. Bonnie cried out as Foxy pushed him along making Chi laugh at this.

Chi sat in her bedroom. She had been grateful to Mangle's family for letting them stay with them during her time at college. She looked over at a picture of her new friend group. She never had so many before. It only had been her, Mangle and Chica for a while now. She never really could make other friends.

When she tried to make friends, it ended badly as they were only using her as she was too kind. Boys would try to make a move on her while girls seemed to treat her like she was a doormat. Chica and Mangle had always been at her side. Now she had made friends with kind people and found the boy of her dreams.

She picked up the picture and stared at her and Bonnie: who was standing right next to her. She never felt this way before about anyone. Bonnie had something special. She couldn't believe that one camping trip would lead to her making friends and finding the one.

It took until I got to college to make good friends and the one. It's all thanks to you, Bonnie.
