Omori held Frisk's hand throughout the ruins and entered the house to see Toriel. Here's the ambush. "Hello. I'm glad you made it through. Please sit down, I will explain the humans' deaths, my children."
Omori sat Frisk on their lap, taking Toriel's chair, after thoroughly examining it. Toriel sat on the floor. "There were seven humans who fell underground. The first one, I adopted.
They died after they got sick. Monsters can take a soul and become a God, so my son took her soul to let her see the flowers of her village.
He was attacked and died. It is assumed humans thought he attacked my child Chara. After being stricken with grief, my ex husband declared war on humans." Toriel sighed, this could end up in her death. "He said he'd kill every human and come down here and commit genocide on humanity. I left due to his actions. He has six souls, as Chara's soul was absorbed and I assume disintegrated after Asriel came back to another area of the Underground, New Home."
"So they are hostile, got it. Well, we have a mission. We need to see the King." "Of course, do not let him get your soul. He only needs one to complete his plan."
Omori opened the door, carrying a sleeping Frisk. The body armor made them much heavier.
Sans jumped to alert when the door opened. They were in full body armor. No playing around, Sans decided. He stood by the gate. If they were going to attack, they would think he was an easy target. Sans breathing was heavy. Was one sleeping? It may be a trick.
He checked the humans. Starting with the sleeping one.
Frisk. Hp 20/20 LV 1. Not bad. The next check was on the older human. Or at least taller.
SUNNY Hp 24/24 LV 2 Killed his sister by accident.
That was something else. Sans opted to be careful with the older one.
SUNNY spotted him. Sans wished they didn't have a helmet on so he could gauge the kid's facial reactions. "Hello." His grip tightened on the other kid, enacting a yawn. "I want down!" Without taking his eyes off Sans, SUNNY put them down.
Sans put his hand out, while keeping his magic on standby in case he needed to run. SUNNY examined his hand, "What's that?" He pointed to the whoopie cushion. "Whelp, it was a prank. Kinda ruined that plan, kid."
"Why are you in the middle of nowhere?" "My job is to capture humans." Sans saw both humans grab their weapons. Wrong thing to say, "Please listen. I'm not much for that job. However, my brother Papyrus is a human hunting fanatic." He needed to warn them now or his brother was dead. "If you see him, please don't hurt him."
"How do I know you're not lying?" 'Give him a chance.' "He's a monster, Frisk. This is the most hostile area." 'Be friendly. Kill is a last resort.' Sans felt awkward. "Well?" SUNNY asked him. "Umm, I'll show you around Snowdin. I'd offer to keep the human thing a secret, but you are dressed like human soldier, everyone will know."
"Fine, but any funny business. I'll slash your neck." "Uhh. Okay." Sans felt like he was somehow taken hostage. "We're going to the King." 'King Asgore Dreemurr.' Sans was tempted to blast the humans right now, but he made a promise.
Sans showed them his sentry station. "That reminds me I failed to introduce myself. I'm Sans, Sans the skeleton." "I'm Omori." 'I'm Frisk.'
"Cool, Omori and Frisk." More work, the check won't give the right name for Omori, as it was a nickname. And it wasn't even close to the real name, so the check won't help him at all.
His brother came up to see the two soldiers. "Sans! Are they dangerous!?" "Not from what I noticed. They asked me to show them Snowdin." Sans eyed the kid that was gripping their machete. He had half a mind to move that away, but that could go very wrong. Trained with weapons, means they had trained fists.
"Humans, I implore you to drop your weapons." The humans looked at Papyrus. Sans suspected suspicion was what the look they were giving him was. "No. Why don't you show your lovely faces?" "No." Omori stated. "If you want to fight, get to it. We're busy." "Fight, the Great Papyrus has no intention of fighting you." Papyrus saw where this was going. Trained soldiers, they may have spared monsters so far, but that could change in one wrong move.
"Then Snowdin, Sans." Omori commanded. "Of course." Omori caught Sans signing 'Spaghetti please.' "This early in the day." Omori looked at him. "Seeing humans works up an appetite."
