Sans wrote to the lady behind the door, who he learned was named Toriel. He would meet up, but she has that soldier kid. What if he messes up?

"Sans you have mail!" "Now." "Yes, now get off your butt and read your letter." Sans did just that. "Oh, Tori." Sans read the letter. "She wants to meet up. What do I do? She's bringing her kid if we do." "Just meet up. They spared you, didn't they? Just bring a phone."

Sans walked to the restaurant, careful to hide his bracelet. He didn't need to let every human know he was a Royal Guard. They didn't take too kindly to that title. Most avoided him, but he didn't feel like being the target of wizards magic.

Last time his clothes always felt too tight for a week. He couldn't figure out who did it. It was for this reason he was conflicted about being in wizard territory. On one hand, he didn't have to go to the bank to exchange money, on the other, wizards were very angry at the MT. Ebott monsters and let him know it.

It was for this reason, he wondered why Toriel opted for here. A hostess in a robe looked at Sans. "MT. Ebott Guard?" "Ugh, yes? Not really in that anymore." "Mmm hmm. Bracelet?" Sans uncovered his bracelet. "With anyone?" "Toriel Dreemurr." Sans was directed to the lady behind the door.

She was a goat monster. And the child soldier was there. The very young one. They looked so kind when not covered in armor. "Heya." Sans greeted Toriel. "Hi, nice to meet you, Sans." "Same to you. Frisk." Sans greeted.

'Mom can speak some hands.' "Can she? That's good." 'Yes, I'm getting quite handy at it.' Sans laughed, which caused Frisk to jump back. "What's wrong, kiddo?" 'Would you have murdered me?' "Frisk!" "It's alright, Tori." Sans looked into the kids squinty eyes. "They should know. You know how mistakes can be made." 'Adults don't make mistakes.' "Who told you that is a dirty liar. Adults do make mistakes.

I made one. The past, almost all the past in the Underground caused me to do some bad things. I'll be honest with you, kid." Sans sighed. "If Toriel didn't have me make that promise, I would have. I am very glad that she asked me to promise not to harm you." He saw Toriel's disapproving look. "Well, that was your job. Guess I can't expect a change of heart in a day."

Sans absorbed a sip of his drink. "How old are you, kid?" Sans changed the subject. 'Eight in two days.' "Cool. When you going to school?" 'I been in school.' "You don't start at eight?" 'We start at five.' "It was a shock to me too. Five is way too early. How do they know how to greet royalty? Or in Frisk's case, control their magic?"

To Sans' shock, a voice came behind him, "Frisk shouldn't be in school until eleven. Wizards can't control their magic until then. Parents are expected to socialize and teach the basics until then." Omori sighed and signed, 'The very parents who gave you up at first oppertunity.' "Not that I expect much different." Sans' eyes hollowed.

A girl came up and hugged her brother, "Omori, look what I found." "What the-" She was holding a flower, which apparently Frisk and Omori didn't like. "That's wonderful, sis. We met in the Underground." "Put me down! I'm a flower, not a toy!"

"Okay." Mari sat him on the table.

"Introductions are in order. This is Mari. Mari, the flower is Flowey. You met Frisk. The goat woman is Toriel, and the skeleton is Sans." "Is Sans the one who can teleport?"

Sans sighed, "I miss that." Omori's face said he wasn't sympathizing. But instead of paying him any mind, Omori switched to paying attention to Flowey, "I don't blame you." "WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!" "The kill or be killed mentality. Being surrounded by killers. You are a child and from what I can tell an orphan. It's not your fault that monsters corrupted you."

Flowey found an opportunity in this. "It's such a hard thing to get used to. After seeing many violently killed, I can't believe I thought the adults were setting a decent example.

I wish I could go back and fix it." Flowey was pissed that someone took his save and load powers, and he didn't know which human did it. It's so annoying. And whoever did didn't even need it. Well, he can play this game now. Especially since it was bothering the trashbag who remembered everything.

"I know. I'll set a decent example for the few who are playing the long game." There was that look towards Sans. Omori thought about what Sans said about him in the judgment hall, why was he a special case, he didn't murder anyone, so Sans has to be subtly threatening him, what else could it mean?

"Hey, kiddo. I am changing." "Then take care of the orphaned flower. Your population is very rude." "We are not." Omori banged his fist on the table. "Right, want to tell the child you killed that!?"

"Enough." Toriel sternly demanded. "You're scaring the children. What we should do is talk about this. Away from young eyes."

Toriel stood up, "I have an idea."

This idea is how Sans and Omori ended up locked in a room together. Sans was told he would be able to do his duties, then was expected right back into the room until they got along. "Well this is quite a confining situation."

Omori stared at him. "Hey kiddo, want to tell me what the problem is?" "You don't listen." Omori sat on a pillow, "And you threaten people to get your way." "I don't threaten people." Sans sighed. "Not without cause."

"Then what was your starting at the fall comment? What am I supposed to take from that?" "You killed your sister." Sans wasn't expecting to dodge a pillow at that sentence. "Don't ever spout that lie again!" "The check said so, buddy." "Your check is wrong, I only have one sister, and you saw her."

The kid stood up, grabbing Sans shirt collar, forcing him to stand up, "If I ever hear you accuse anyone of murder again, you will wish you were dead." "Already do." "Don't play with me. What else do you THINK you know." "Your name is Sunny." "Have you lost your mind! Who the hell is Sunny!?

"Sorry." Sans was forced on his tiptoes and really wanted to be let down. "I have an idea, Sans. We agree to have a deal Sans. We don't hate each other except in private."

"Works for me. But I ugh don't hate you." "So you're just an asshole." Sans jumped back. That kid never cursed.
