First dance-

A sigh escaped Roxas's lips as a fifth misstep was taken by the couple practicing before him, the girl making the mistake this time. He bit his lip as they made another pass in front of him, hoping and praying that this time he wouldn't hear any-

"Ow,"

Too late.

No matter how quiet the girl tried to be, the expression of pain couldn't escape Roxas's exceptionally sharp hearing.

"Ok, stop, stop, stop," Roxas said, waving his hands in front of him to emphasize his point, the music coming to an abrupt halt.

The pair broke apart from each other, looking towards their teacher with concerned and curious gazes.

"Is something wrong?" The girl asked, fidgeting with her hands almost immediately.

"The question you should be asking is 'was anything right?' With that performance," he said, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"Olette, you keep trying to take the lead and Hayner you keep letting her have it which means that you're out of synch and Hayner keeps stepping on Olette's toes. You need to feel what your dance partner is and express that together, not as individuals. You're a team now,"

"Maybe if you could show us what we're doing wrong, that might help us figure out how to get the feeling down better," Hayner suggested.

"Hmmm. That's - actually not a bad idea," Roxas contemplated before he looked to the small group of students off to the side of the dance floor. "You. Can you help me with this demenstration?" Roxas asked a petite blonde near the back of the group, holding out his right hand.

She pointed to herself with a questioning look and Roxas nodded in reply, the young lady gingerly stepping behind the rest of the students to join their professor on the dance floor.

"Now, just follow my lead," he whispered, nodding to his assistant to begin playing the music in the cd player.

Namine hadn't expected Roxas to call her out to the floor to dance with him, after all, Xion and Aqua were both much more accomplished dancers than she was, but he had chosen her all the same. The music was entrancing and it didn't help that Namine was constantly getting lost in the endless sea of blue that were Roxas's eyes.

His strong arms held her tightly to him as they glided across the floor with an effortlessness that had the entire class mesmerized. Dip step, dip step, glide, twirl, glide, dip step. They threw more complicated steps into their rhythm, causing a slight sheen of perspiration to appear painted across their skin.

All too soon, the already shortened rendition of the song had come to an end, Roxas dipping Namine gracefully and then bringing her back to her feet for a final full length spin.

She couldn't help but mourn the absence of his warm hands in hers, her skin burning without the contact.

The class applauded loudly as they finished their final steps, Roxas and Namine both breathing heavier as they thanked the group for their kindness.

The clock chimed five o'clock signifying the end of class, the students gradually filing out of the room and bidding their teacher goodbye until the only two remaining in the room were Roxas and Namine.

Blue met blue as their eyes found each others from across the room, Namine frozen in place as Roxas strided towards her. He reached gently for her hand, no resistance offered from her.

"I have to say, I was pretty shocked by your gesture," Namine said, her lips upturning pleasantly.

"What can I say? I love keeping you on your toes," he replied with a wink.

Namine gasped, her eyes going wide as realization hit her suddenly.

"What? What is it?" Roxas asked concerned.

"I just realized, that was our first dance in front of the class!" She replied.

Roxas smiled softly back at her. "Well, I can't think of a better time; Mrs. Strife,"

Namine smiled back, her hand gently brushing against his cheek. "Neither can I, Mr. Strife," she replied, pecking him lightly on the lips.

"How about a second dance?" Roxas asked his pretty wife of six months.

She smirked right right back at him.

"Lead on pretty boy,"
