It had been two years since Sonic left and she had been busy.
She had made friends and Knuckles had stuck with her but hadn't told anyone where or who she is.
She had kept her medallion on but hadn't used it once.

Robotnik was at Robotropolis.
"Finally! The only thing left to see be done is to capture the essential life data from your counterpart, then you will be complete, my Hyper Metal Sonic! When you awaken..." Robotnik said and Hyper Metal Sonic's eyes charged with power. "KILL HER!" he said and laughed.
You come and pick me up, no headlights
Meanwhile.
"Sonic! I finally finished it! See? Isn't it great? It's a jet propelled bodyboard. Come on, do you wanna try it out?" Tails asked.
"Not right now, thanks." Sonic said.
"All right, I'll go use it myself."
"Tails is just like a little kid with his new toy." she said, beeped the remote and played the music.
Then Tails grunted, revved his engine and his jet blast and Sonic groaned.
"Whoa! Whoa-aaa!" Tails said and screamed. "Whoa!" he said and laughed. "Weeeee! Hey! Come out here, Sonic! It's okay if you don't swim! You could give it a try."
"Just don't show off so much that you forget to look where you're going!" she said and sighed with a thud. "Wha?" she said while Tails screamed. "It's probably nothing."
"Sonic! Help me, wake up, Sonic. Come on! Help!"
"Huh?"
"Hey! Help me! Wake up, Sonic!" he said and she growled.
"SHUT UP, TAILS!" she yelled and he screamed.
Meanwhile Old Man Owl was behind him in his burning rocket. Tails flew up with his bodyboard. Old Man Owl flew into the sky with a trail of smoke following him.
Tails flew above Sonic worried.
"Sonic, are you all right, Sonic?" he asked.
"I'm fine, just fine. So, who's that?" Sonic asked and rubbed her nose.
Then Old Man Owl waved.
"Hi, Sonic! I have some news for you!" Old Man Owl said and his rocket flew past them then a trail of smoke followed him.
She grunted and scratched her head.
"Not that old Man again. Count me out." she said and Tails pointed in the direction Old Man Owl's rocket went.
"Sonic, we gotta do something to help him!" Tails said.
"You're the one who can fly, you do something!" she said, turned to her lounging chair buried in the sand and tried to get it out.
Tails watched Old Man Owl heading straight towards a wall of a piece of land and gasped.
"You're no help!" he said and she tripped and landed on her butt. "Fine! I can rescue the Old Man all by myself!"mOld Man Owl was still in the plane, about to crash.
"Wee hee hee hee!" Old Man Owl said.
"Siiir?"
"Oh, it's you Tails! Nice to see you. I have some urgent business with Mistress Sonic and that's why I'm here today."
"You have more important things to worry about now. Your rocket's on fire!" Tails said and Old Man Owl noticed the fire and smoke coming from the back of the plane.
"WOAH! No wonder it's getting warm!"
"Just hold on and keep it going steady. I'll fix it for you!"Tails said and the plane's back engine exploded and he screamed. "I'm not gonna give up that easy!" he said and flew to Old Man Owl, still in the plane.
Meanwhile Sonic continued to relax when an explosion impact occurred.
"Woo hoo hoo hoo!" Old Man Owl said.
"Waah hah ho!" Tails said and landed on the plane's wing.
"Very impressive Tails."
"Thanks, I had some good practice before on my bodyboard."
"Wah hah hah hah hah, lucky for me!" Old Man Owl said laughing.
"Sir? Sir!?"
"Huh?"
"Look out!"
"What are you talking about?" Old Man Owl said and noticed the large rock wall that the plane was about to run into and Tails screamed.
Meanwhile Sonic was still on beach.
"Sonic!" Tails said and she ran, doing some parkour while he screamed and she kept running.
Then she did a Super Peel Out, spun into a ball, and bashed into the plane and was launched out of the smoke saving both Tails and Old Man Owl.
"Oh Sonic, thank you." Tails said.
"Mmmm." Sonic said and winked at him then they all landed safely as Old Man Owl was shocked in horror. "Old man, hey old man!" she said, picked up a Crabmeat, put it back down and the Crabmeat pinched Old Man Owl out of shock. "Old man, those things are dangerous. Stop riding them."
"What are you talking about, Master Sonic? I know how to handle them! I realize I'm a little older now, but back in my day I was quite the racer. Believe me, I was pretty popular with the ladies!" Old Man Owl said not making eye contact with her and laughed.
"Mister, did you say you had some urgent business?" Tails asked.
"Oh right, it's a real emergency! You see the President..." Old Man Owl said and turned to them. "Woooh hoo ho! I-I-I-... A-a-uh..." he said erratic and unsure. "Ahhhh. The president..." he said and relaxed while Sonic and Tails fell to the ground and back up.
"He wants us to come to the Presidential House right away!" Sonic said.
"That's it! That's it! Please hurry!"
"You know it might have been easier if you'd called to tell us that..."
"Oh ho ho I-I could have done that too, heh heh heh." He said embarrassed.
Later the door opened revealing the shadow of Sonic and Tails on the Tornado. Tree leaves began to open, like doors, revealing the launch ramp of the plane. The Tornado was preparing for flight.
"Old man! Take care of the place while we're gone!" Sonic said.
"Of course! You can count on me!" Old Man Owl said.
"Sure we can..." she said sarcastically. "Start her up Tails!" she said to Tails.
"Right!" Tails said, started up Tornado for launch and Tornado flew away.
"Bon voyage kids! Hah hah hah hah hah ahhhh..." Old Man Owl said and started laughing.
Long drive
Later at the Presidential House.
"Mr. President, what's the urgent business?" Sonic asked and Robotnik laughed.
"It's been a long time, hasn't it? Good to see you again, Sonic!" Robotnik said.
"Doctor Robotnik!" Tails said.
"Please accept this small token of my gratitude for your coming all this way to see me..." Robotnik said and cannons appear but Sonic and Tails destroy the robots at super speed and the robots poof into pink smoke.
"That's a funny way to thank us!" Sonic said and zoomed towards him.
"Sonic, stop! Sonic, for the sake of my daughter and everyone else, listen to him!" the president said.
"That's a dirty trick, Robotnik." she said and Robotnik chuckled.
"No fair! You kidnapped the President and Sara so you could hold them for ransom and take over South Island, didn't you?" Tails said and Robotnik laughed and bounced off his chair.
"Do you think I'm capable of something that underhanded? Me?" Robotnik asked.
"Yes!" Robotnik's robots said and he fainted.
"Hublrublrublrublru!" Robotnik said and got back up. "Now Sonic, I've got the upper hand. This is about the entire planet of Freedom so you'd better do what I say!"
"No way!" Sonic said.
"Don't you care about pretty young Sara?" he asked and chuckled.
"Help me, daddy!" Sara said.
"Little Sara! Sonic, please listen to whatever Robotnik has to say!" President said.
"Oh all right. Give me the scoop Robotnik." Sonic said.
"Thank you, Sonic. I will." Robotnik said and formed a hologram of Planet Freedom. "As you both well know, Planet Freedom is made up of two separate dimensions. The outer world, the one you live in is known as the Land of the Sky."
"Tell us something we don't know." she said and he growled.
"Shut up! Heed me! And the inner layer is known as the Land of Darkness. There I lived peacefully in a utopian city called Robotropolis, until Metal Robotnik came out of nowhere and attacked my peaceful city with a battalion of demonic robots. They conquered us and drove me out of my home. Metal Robotnik then sabotaged the Robot Generator that created the high voltage electricity for the entire city. It is running uncontrollably and there is no place to store this excess electricity. According to my calculations, if the Robot Generator isn't stopped by sunrise tomorrow, there will be a giant explosion. Huh?" he said and saw they were all asleep. "Fine! Just don't blame me when this happens!" he said, popped the hologram of Planet Freedom, and a comical explosion occurred.
Afterward, he was covered with soot and dust.
"How can we stop this terrible thing from happening, Robotnik?" President asked.
"There's only one thing to do: someone has to get through Metal Robotnik's traps, go into Robotropolis and stop that generator before sunrise! And it should be the fastest one here."
"Forget about it. You created that stupid thing in the first place, why should I have to go around cleaning up your messes?" Sonic said and the President was shocked, shoved Robotnik away and ran to Sonic.
"Oh no! Sonic, please do it. You're the only one here that can save South Island and the entire Planet Freedom." The President said.
"Mmm..." she said annoyed and Sara ran to her.
"Sonic, I don't care what happens to Robotnik or daddy, but please just do this for the two of us?" Sara said and Sonic hoped out of the desk.
"Someone tell me why I should trust Robotnik when 99 out of 100 times he's lying!"
"But what if this is that one other time?" Tails asked.
"Huh?"
"Please, Sonic?" Sara asked.
"Please, Sonic." The President said.
'I left to protect them so I'll have to do it.' Sonic thought.
"Fine! I'll do it." she said.
"Sonic?" Tails said.
"You need to take this with you, Tails. It's a Navigator. As long as you have that with you it should take you to Robotropolis, using the shortest and fastest route." Robotnik said.
"Thank you Robotnik."
"Come on! Let's go!" Sonic said.
"Mmm!" he said and they ran off.

Later Sonic and Tails were flying in the Tornado.
"Tails, do you actually trust that ridiculous little gadget that Robotnik built for you? He's not exactly trustworthy. He could've put a bomb for us in there!" Sonic said thinking about all the times he tricked them.
"But Doctor Robotnik is the only person who knows where Robotropolis is, so we have to use his navigator and hope it works." Tails said.
"I guess so..."
"Gee, I hope the President and Sara are doing all right."

At the Presidential House Robotnik and Sara were playing a fighting based video game, and Robotnik won.
"No no no no no, it's not fair! You always beat me every time! All right, one more." Sara said.

"Absolutely not!" Robotnik said.
"No no I want to! Take me on a drive now!" she said and an explosion occurs, and a weird machine appeared.
"Oh. What is this?" The president said.
"Yahoo! Yeah! This is great, Robotnik! I get to drive first!" she said and Robotnik chuckled.
"No Sara, don't touch it! Wait, stop! Don't play with it! Stop it Sara!" Robotnik said and a robot held up a sign saying "Goodbye Sara!"
"No! Stop! Come back Sara!" The President said.

Meanwhile Sonic and Tails were still flying on the Tornado by clouds.
"Woah-! Look! That must be the entrance to the Land of Darkness, right below us!" Sonic said.
"We're hitting some rough winds here! I'm having trouble keeping it steady! Hang on Sonic!" Tails said, flew the Tornado higher in the sky and towards the Land of Darkness while Sonic started to lose her grip, but still tried to hang on for dear life. "Keep hanging on, we're almost through!"
"Good!" Sonic said and struggled to keep holding on, as they crash land the plane on the surface and she crawled out from under the plane. "Hey Tails! Tails, are you all right?" she asked and he started crawling out from under the plane.
"I'm fine, but I'm worried about the Tornado though." he said and they gasped.
"The Land of Darkness..."
"That means Robotropolis is just on the other side of those mountains!"

A few minutes later Sonic and Tails were running around in the Land of Darkness jumping over spikes and onto a green bounce pad, and saw some enemies along the way. Sonic broke through a . "But Robotropolis is supposed to be really close by. Let's go somewhere high up and see if we can see it from there."
"Good idea." she said and they sped to the top of a skyscraper. "Look! The Relics are sinking right into the ocean."
"Sonic! I bet it's because the Robot Generator is out of control and causing reactions under the ground!"
"Right, we should hurry!" she said then lightning struck and Tails screamed.

At Ancient Relics Sonic and Tails were running on the street.
"Tails, we just have to go straight ahead. Right?" Sonic asked.
"That's what the navigator says..." Tails said and a spark of light appeared, then an explosion occurred.
"Daaaaa...oh!" they said and were impacted by the explosion and landed on the ground. Then Metal Robotnik appeared and started to laugh. His laughter started to increase and he kept laughing maniacally while Tails screamed.
"That thing's Metal Robotnik!" Tails said and Metal Robotnik laughed.
"That is correct, I am Metal Robotnik. Congratulations on your prowess in navigating through my traps." Metal Robotnik said.
"We don't have time to play little games with you. Get out of our way!" Sonic said.
"It's not going to be that easy!" Metal Robotnik said and Sonic and Tails started taunting him while he shot. "Hold still!" he said and Sonic kicked his head, but got stunned. "You can't break through this polymer alloy!" he said and Tails hugged his face and move back to ground in a flash.
Metal Robotnik punched himself in the face and Sonic and Tails laughed at him.
"I'll get you!" Metal Robotnik said and kept shooting but Sonic and Tails hid behind a building. "You can't hide from me... Come here!"
"We don't have enough time to mess around with some robot! Where's Robotropolis from here?" Sonic said.
"Just a second... That way! Just past that highway." Tails said.
"Good! Let's go Tails!"

"Robotnik!"
"Huh?" Metal Robotnik said.
"We have some business to take care of, but we can finish this game when we get back. Huh?" she said and he became stronger, ripping off his cape and pulled out wings with a rocket launcher.
"Oh no! Jump!" Sonic and Tails said and Metal Robotnik crashed into a bridge and chased after them.
"I didn't know that thing could fly!" Sonic said and they ran away from Metal Robotnik while running in a tunnel and Metal Robotnik almost captured Tails.
"Sonic! Help me!" Tails said.
"Tails, grab onto me!"
"Right! Heh heh! WHOA!"
Metal Robotnik launched homing missiles at them, but each of them miss. They stopped by the end of the bridge, which is out. Then Tails pulled Sonic off the edge and they were both out of breath.
"That was close!" Sonic said as a shadow approached them.
It was Metal Robotnik again.
"Don't think you're safe yet, I'm well aware that neither one of you can swim!" Metal Robotnik said, laughed and started shooting as Sonic and Tails fell off the bridge and splash into the river hanging onto the grating and acting as if they were drowning while Metal Robotnik laughed. "Now I've finally gotten those two out of the way..." he said and Tails gasped.
"I think it worked!" Tails said.
"Yeah! Let's go!" Sonic said then lightning struck again and Tails screamed and clung to her. "Aw, man."
"I can see you!" Metal Robotnik said and Tails screamed in terror. "You didn't think I'd fall for a stupid trick like that, did you?" he asked and Sonic and Tails ran as he is shot yellow goop at them.
"What is this stuff?" she asked and he kept shooting.
Tails dodged the goop, then lightning struck and he was cooped onto the fence.
"Help, Sonic!" Tails said.
"Tails!" she said and Metal Robotnik chuckled.
"Say cheese!" he said, laughed and shot mines at her, then a humongous explosion occurs. Meanwhile Knuckles appeared digging up from the ground and saw the explosion.
"Huh?" he said.
'Sonic.' he thought.
"Now you're the only one left to take care of..." Metal Robotnik said but was cut off.
"There's no way you could've gotten rid of Sonic that easily with those missiles." Tails said and there was a small light sparks from afar. "I told you!"

Metal Robotnik was about to shoot his laser at Sonic, but something stopped him from firing the laser. Then Knuckles flew to Tails and got the goop off.
"Huh? Knuckles!" Tails said.
"Hurry and save Sonic!" Knuckles said and Tails fell off, but his two tails were still glued together.
"This is bad! I can't fly with my tails stuck together! That's it! Sonic, I'm coming!"
"How did you escape!" Metal Robotnik said.
"Come on Sonic, I know you can do it!"
"Now I'm stuck!" Knuckles said.
"Rrrr! Out of bullets! You are lucky aren't you, but not lucky enough!" Metal Robotnik said and laughed. "Hey!"
"Thanks a lot pal, I owe you one!" Sonic said.
"I think we're even." Knuckles said.
'Especially after what I did to you, Sonia and Manic a few years ago.' he thought.
"Heh heh. It doesn't matter..." Metal Robotnik said.
"Trying to run away? I won't let you Metal Robotnik!" Sonic said.
"Don't worry, we'll meet again soon!" Metal Robotnik said and laughed.
"Sonic, grab a hold! There!" Knuckles said and helped Sonic attacked Metal Robotnik who exploded.

Meanwhile Robotnik and Sara popped out of Metal Robotnik.
"Sonic better enjoy her victory now because once she gets to Robotropolis, she'll have to fight something far more evil than Metal Robotnik!" Robotnik said.
"Hya!" Sara said and bopped him on the head. "What do you mean worse than Metal Robotnik? Are you talking about yourself? You'd better keep your hands off my Sonic or I'll never forgive you!"

Back at Ancient Relics.
"Thanks for saving us there Knuckles!" Sonic said.
"Yeah! That's one more job I won't get paid for, but I've known you for a while. So I'll just put it on your tab, and you can pay me back later on." Knuckles said.
"So are you going back to treasure hunting now?" Tails asked.
"Of course! Finding treasure is my absolute favorite pass time! Ha."
"Huh?" they said and the sun started to set.
"The sun's already setting, we're starting to run out of time!" Tails said and Knuckles put on his sunglasses.
"What's that? Look at it." Knuckles said.
"Wha-huh?"
"Huh?" Sonic said and they saw the city of Robotropolis from afar.
"That must be Robotropolis!" Tails said.
"Scaaaary..."
Suddenly they felt a rumble coming from the ground. "Whoa!" they said and Robotropolis started to light up.
"I hope we see you again soon Knuckles!" Sonic said.

"We'll see you later Knuckles, bye!" Tails said and Knuckles took off his sunglasses.
"Mmm..." Knuckles said and appeared.

"Hey! I couldn't send you guys into that place alone. Let's go!" Knuckles said and Tails giggled. "Come on! What are you waiting for? We gotta get moving or that Robot Generator's going to explode!"

"So this must be the entrance to Robotropolis..." Sonic said.
"I never expected Robotnik to live in such an amazing place!" Tails said.
"Careful, you don't wanna get too blown away." Knuckles said and looked at Sonic to see she still has her medallion on.
"You're right. Come on, let's go!" Sonic said and Tails checked his navigator.
"We're on the right track. Just keep going straight!" Tails said.

"I'm getting seriously pumped up about this Sonic!" Knuckles said and Sonic smiled knowing he's thinking about back when he worked with Sonic Underground.
"Just don't enjoy yourself so much. You'll let your guard down." Sonic said.
"I'll be fine." he said and a Snail Blaster saw them. "Ha ha ha! Waaaaa!"
"Huh?" she said and they screamed.

Soon they arrived at the Robot Generator and Sonic screamed as she and Tails ran on a treadmill conveyor belt.
"Tails, come on! Fly!" Sonic said.
"Oh, you're right! It's way too heavy!" Tails said.

Meanwhile Sonic was still running on the conveyor belt.
"Hang on!" Knuckles said and Sonic pressed the Robot Generator's shutdown button with one millisecond remaining.
The Robot Generator stopped working and the Robotropolis city lights dim out while Knuckles ran on the conveyor belt.
"Don't worry, I'll have you out of there in no time." he said and Sonic was stuck in a green bolt of light as if she were captured then the Robot Generator fell apart and she started to fall. "Gotcha!"
"Sonic, are you all right-" Tails said and yelled as an orb started spinning and capturing energy via lightning bolts.
Metal Sonic was seen in the orb.
"Something's moving in there!" Knuckles said and Metal Sonic started to awaken.
The orb exploded and Metal Sonic escaped, appearing before Sonic.
"It's a robot that looks exactly like Sonic!" Tails said.
"It came out of that sphere." Knuckles said and Metal Robotnik's laughter was heard via reverb.
"And another thing..." Metal Robotnik said and laughter continued.
"What is that?"
"It's pretty." Tails said while strings of blue light appear and Metal Robotnik started to rise from the lights and laughed again. "I-I-I think it's the ghost of Metal Robotnik!" he said and Metal Robotnik kept laughing.
It kept rising, but was being held by Robotnik's robots. The robots started to run away as Metal Robotnik fell and got destroyed.
"It just broke apart." Tails said.
"This way! Let go of my hand." Sara said.
"I'm sorry." Robotnik said.
"Watch it!" she yelled.
"Huh?" Sonic said and Sara pulled on a side of Robotnik's mustache. "Sara!"
"What are Sara and Robotnik doing out here together!?" Tails asked.
"I get it! So you two were both Metal Robotnik." Knuckles said and Robotnik got embarrassed while Sara started whimpering and then she cried.
"Look at that, Knuckles. Now you made her cry."
"No, it wasn't my fault! Metal Robotnik and the Robot Generator going haywire were all part of Robotnik's evil scheme." Sara said.
"So what about this plot, Robotnik?" Sonic asked and Robotnik hopped out of the remains of Metal Robotnik and started to make faces at her.
"You fell for my trap! You came all the way here, and now you'll die here. Good job Sonic!" Robotnik said.
"What did you say?" she said and rushed to him, but Metal Sonic appeared and stopped her.
"This is terrible!" Tails said.
"I, Doctor Robotnik, scientist extraordinaire, have finally completed my greatest invention ever. I call it the Hyper Metal Sonic." Robotnik said.
"That robot may look like her, but she'll never be a match for the real Sonic!" Tails said and Robotnik laughed.
"Tails, this should be apparent to you. Sonic wasn't being electrocuted earlier. Instead I was extracting her life data and collecting all the information essential to my creation. Now, Hyper Metal Sonic is ready!"
"What are you planning to do with a stupid fake Sonic anyway?" Sara asked.
"I'm going to use Metal to destroy the real Sonic, and then I can completely destroy the Land of the Sky!"
"What did you say? There's no way you'll ever get away with this!"
Then a random Robotnik robot appeared and she screamed.
"Release Sara now, Robotnik!" Sonic said and Robotnik chuckled.
"Ah, but first you must fight her. Go get her, Hyper Metal Sonic!" Robotnik said.
"Everybody stand back. Nobody try to help me. I have to destroy this imposter!" she said and Metal Sonic revved up and started his rocket.
"Woooaah!" he said and Sonic dodged Metal Sonic's attack.
"Man she's fast! I've never seen anything able to keep up with Sonic!" Knuckles said and thought about the times he worked with Sonic, Sonia and Manic.

Meanwhile Sara was tied up and scared, while Robotnik was excited and laughing.
"Finally I have an invention that will mark my place in history forever and give me the recognition I deserve!" Robotnik said and Metal Sonic attacked Sonic.

Sonic looked faint as Metal Sonic caught her by the leg and sealed both of them in an energy shield.
"Huhehe! Gooooooo Metal!" Robotnik said while Metal Sonic started to escape Robotropolis and Tails screamed.
"Wait, Tails! Come back here!" Knuckles said and grabbed Tails by the ankle. "Tails! Hold up!"
"But if we don't hurry up, then-" Tails said but was cut off.
"Calm down! There's no way that either one of us is going to be able to chase her down like this, so we've got to think of another way to catch them."
"Hmm."
"Huh?" they said and a sharp rock hurdled toward them.
They screamed as they flew away as the rock landed at the base of Robotropolis.
"He did say he wanted to destroy the Land of the Sky, didn't he?" Knuckles asked.
"I'm sorry, were the ropes uncomfortable Sara? Come on, don't be mad. Stay with me for a little longer." Robotnik said.
"No, I don't want to. I wanna go home now!" Sara said.
"Awwww, but I was just about to show you something that's really spectacular."

Meanwhile Sonic and Metal Sonic were still battling.
"Where did he go? Huh?" Sonic thought and Metal Sonic comes toward her. "Daah!" she said and Metal Sonic kicked her off the mountain top she was on, and she appeared to have died.
"Looks like that's it!" Robotnik said and chuckled then laughed. "Sonic will never again be a pain in my egg!"
"Tails! What are you doing? There's a warp zone right in front of us!" Knuckles said.
"We're picking up the Tornado and going home!" Tails said.
"What!? What are we gonna do about Sonic!?"
Knuckles knew she wasn't dead that easy but was still worried.

"What a perfect night for lying on the beach." Old Man Owl said and Metal Sonic appeared from a distance in shadows. "Ah, Mistress Sonic! I wasn't expecting you back so soon. Mistress Sonic? Is there something wrong? Wait, what are you doing!? Stop!"

In a forest area a leaf droplet landed on Sonic and woke her.
"Where in the world am I?" she asked.
'I remember leaving Robotropolis...' she thought and remembered Metal Sonic attacking.

At President's control center the President saw the City in flames.
"Could this be the work of Metal Robotnik?" he thought.

Back at Sonic and Tails' island.
"Oh no! The only person who would do something this terrible is Robotnik. It's a lucky thing no one was staying here." Knuckles said.
"Mmhmm." Tails said and was shocked. "The Old Man was staying here watching the house! Old man! Old man, where are you?"
"It doesn't look like anyone's even been in here."
"Old man, are you still in here somewhere?"
"I'm behind you Tails. You've come home early!" Old Man Owl said.
"Those are Sonic's favorite clothes, so don't blame me if she gets mad at you."
"Don't worry about it! She was here last night. She forced me to put on these clothes and then flew away without saying anything!" Old Man Owl said and laughed.
"She flew away? Metal!" Tails and Knuckles said.

In the sky Robotnik laughed.
"Metal is doing a great job! At this rate, the Land of the Sky will only last a few more hours. Now I can take my plan to the next stage. Here you go Sara. This is a present I got for you."

Back at Sonic and Tails' island.
"Tails, stop tinkering with that thing. We've got more important things to do, like finding Sonic." Knuckles said.
"Metal Sonic and Robotnik's navigator are built out of the same kind of parts. I think I can use that to our advantage. I just have to make this work." Tails said.
"I get it. Do you think you could actually find them? But what if Metal Sonic and Sonic aren't in the same place anymore?"
"Don't worry. Sonic and Metal will definitely be in the same place!"
"Huh. I don't get it! How can you be sure of that?"

"Because Metal was programmed with all of Sonic's data. She knows everything: Her likes, her dislikes, her personality and all this thoughts. That's why she knew to come down here, and she even gave the Old Man her favorite clothes!"
"But Metal's a robot. She's not really Sonic!"
"It doesn't matter that she's a robot, she's still operating completely through all of Sonic's thoughts. She knows everything that Sonic's ever felt or seen. The same goes for Sonic. In other words, they're like identical twins!"

Back at Sonic and Tails' island a radio signal was coming from Sonic's house and Knuckles was fixing the Tornado.
"Shut up, I'm busy! Hey, is someone gonna pick that up!?" he said.

Back at President's control center.
"Tails, answer that! Isn't anybody there-" The President said but was cut off.
"Owl and the red box..." Old Man Owl sang.
"D'oh, no it's that idiot! What's he doing now!? Hey! This is the President, you listen to me right now-"

"I see! Is Sonic there? Is Sara safe? What happened to Metal Robotnik? And the generator?"

"What do you mean? Once Metal has destroyed the Land of the Sky, we'll be the only ones left. Then we can get married, and live out the rest of our happy lives together Sara." Sara said, fantasized them starting a family.
"Rock-a-by robot, on the egg-top..." they sang.
"Are you crazy!? I wouldn't marry you if you were the last man on Earth! Rrrrrrrr!"

"So that's what really happened. Even with all of Sonic's data that creature still can't destroy the Land of the Sky, can she?" The President said.
"It's possible..." Knuckles said.
"Wha?"
"I've traveled the subterranean levels of this planet and I know them better than anyone. I've seen firsthand what her target is going to be, and it's at the northernmost tip of this continent. The Land of the Sky is held together by a huge glacier which joins the continents. Beneath the continents lie rivers of magma that spread all over the continent like blood vessels. If the tip of the glacier was punctured by an explosion, the magma would rush to the surface, melting all the ice! The very backbone of our Planet Freedom would be shattered! The rotation of the planet would hurl the continents into outer space, where they would be blown to pieces."
"Oh... this is impossible."
"Sir, please don't tell Sonic anything about what we just told you." Tails said.
"I know that!"
"Why shouldn't you tell me?" Sonic asked.
"Sonic!" Knuckles said.
"Aah!" Tails said.
"Oh Sonic, you're safe! Good!" The President said.
"You're too late! I already heard all of it." Sonic said.
"Sonic, you don't understand. This is bad!" Tails said.
"Metal Sonic is heading northward at top speed!" a news reporter said.
"What!?" The President said and Sonic gasped. "Metal is planning to melt the glaciers to the north! We have to stop her at any cost! Huh? Sonic?"

"Tails! Sonic just disappeared from here. She must have gone after Metal on his own!" The President said.
"That's bad!" Tails and Knuckles said.
"We'll have to do our best too. We have to stop Metal no matter what!"

In the sky Robotnik laughed.
"We're going to the North Pole! That means Metal has finally found the point of destruction. You should get ready now Sara..." he said.
"No no no! I don't wanna get married on the North pole!" Sara said and screamed.
"Calm down. Be quiet, buckle up and hang on; we're hitting a warp zone!"

Meanwhile.
"All right! Now we can go into Metal's memory banks and adjust them so Sonic's personality comes out!" Tails said.
"Hey Tails! Are you sure you can trust that thing? After all it was built by Robotnik before he gave it to you." Knuckles said.
'I should know!' he thought.
"Don't worry about it. Just keep your eyes peeled for Sonic!"

Oh, whoa, oh
At the North Pole Sonic arrived.
"Hmm. I got here too late! Metal has to still be around here somewhere... Daah!?" she said and Metal Sonic appeared from underneath the ground. "So now we can get down to the real fight! The last Sonic standing will be the winner." she said and electronic noises were heard from Metal. "What? This world isn't big enough for the both of us, and one of us has to go?" she said and electronic noises were heard from Metal, who nodded. "Well, I agree!" she said and they started to battle as they ended up hurdling toward each other. "You might know everything that I'm going to do, but that's not going to help you, since I know everything you're going to do. Strange, isn't it? Grrrrrrrrr."
Then Robotnik and Sara arrive as Metal Sonic bashed into the Egg Mobile. Sonic landed on the tip of the Egg Mobile and hurt her groin.
"Ooh!" she said.
"Ooh? Oh no! How is it that you're still alive, Sonic? Wha? What's wrong with you? What are you doing?" Robotnik asked.
"Bad, bad! No, no, no, no! Don't look there, you pervert!" Sara said.
"I get it. You're synchronizing yourself with Metal. Then this is my chance!" Robotnik said and held on to the ship as Sara fell.
"I'll save you!" Sonic said.
"Oh no, little Sara!"
"Whoops! Gotcha! That was close." Knuckles said.
"Hey Knuckles!"
"Soooonic!" Tails said.
"Huh?" she said and he pilots the Tornado and saved her.
Robotnik growled.
"You're a perfect target for me now, fox!" Robotnik said and animal missiles appear as ammunition for the Egg Mobile. "Steady, ready, careful, fire!" he said and the rabbit missile aimed at Tails who screamed as the rabbit missile destroyed the Tornado. "Yes! Huh?" he said and the turtle missile slowly moved through the air. "Oh no, another design failure! More importantly, what happened to Sara?"
"Ah ha ha ha ha! Oh you saved me! Ah ha ha ha! Thank you Mister Mole!" Sara said and Tails screamed.
"Somebody stop me!" he said.
"Ah ha ha ha ha ha! I have more power than I thought I did!"
"There you are Sara! It's time for you to come with me now. Ow! Oooh!" Robotnik said.
"Tails! Get off!" Knuckles said.
"I'm so sorry." Tails said.
"I never thought you'd stoop that low." Knuckles said and Metal Sonic attacked them. "Look! Metal's still going!"
"Sonic too!" Tails said and Metal Sonic kept beating up Sonic.
"Metal! Stop it!" Sara said and Sonic kicked Metal Sonic into the ground, and the ice started to crumble.
Tails, Knuckles, and Sara were screaming in horror.
"If that ice bridge gets destroyed, then we're doomed! Knuckles, stop the lava!" Tails said.
"Uhh... I... dunno.." Knuckles said."Would you try it for me, brave man?" Sara asked and kissed him on the cheek.
"Right! Yes ma'am!" he said and bashed into the ice with lava hurdling toward him feeling a little uncomfortable after the kiss and Tails and Sara were cheering him on. "Huh? My hat's on fire! Help!"
Then Sonic collapsed to the ground and Sara and Tails gasp. She struggled to get up while Metal Sonic kicked her on the head and slid into the icy wall. Then Metal Sonic grabbed her and choked her.
"No, Sonic! What are you doing to my Sonic! Rrrr, this stupid thing looks like Sonic, but it's bad!" Sara said.
"I think I've got it! This plan had better work..." Tailor said and Sara kept kicking Metal Sonic.
"I'm not gonna let you destroy the Land of the Sky... Grrrrr; 'cause then I'll have to marry Robotnik!"
"Come on! That's it!" he said and Metal Sonic started to go haywire. "Get her now Sonic!"
"Right!" Sonic said and Sonic Spin Dashed into Metal Sonic. "Okay."
"Sonic!"
"Good work Tails, you saved us!" she said and he chuckled. "Who is that?"
"It doesn't look like Robotnik's ship."
"That's daddy's rocket!" Sara said.
"What did you say!?" Sonic asked and the President and Old Man Owl were in the rocket.
The President was trying to get out of the rocket.
"What's wrong? I think the door's stuck!" she said.
"That's bad! The heat from the lava could make it explode!" Tails said.
"Sara, you wait here. Come on, let's go!" she said and the rocket was on fire, and the President was terrified.
"Daddy?" Sara said.
"The President's timing couldn't be worse." Sonic said and saw when she lost her foster parents.

"Sonic, listen to me. Run as fast as you can to Uncle Chuck's. Don't stop and don't look back!" her father said.
"Why? What about you?" she asked.
"We'll be okay, Sonic. But you know what I need to see? The biggest rev you've ever done!"
"Really? You want me to rev?"
"Sure do, pal. Let's see it."
"We love you, sweetheart!" her mother said.
"Go, Sonic! GO!"
"Citizen. You are under arrest." a Swatbot said and she gasped.
"Oh no!" she cried and returned to the burning house. "Noooo!" she said and gasped.
"Sonny!" Chuck said.
"Huh?" she said and ran to her uncle's arms. "Uncle Chuck!" she said and cried.
"It's gonna be all right, sonny girl."

"If that thing explodes, then we'll all be in trouble!" Tails said and Metal Sonic attacked them both. "It's Metal!"
"Step aside and let us through, Metal. We've got to get to that ship! Tails!"
"Sonic! You get the President out of that ship and I'll take care of Robotnik!" he said and a laser was shot at his navigator.
"Robotnik!"
"Trying to overload Metal's system by assimilating Sonic's personality? Impressive! Luckily, you're too late to be a problem. Metal, destroy Sonic!" Robotnik said and Metal Sonic kicked Sonic into the Egg Mobile.
Sonic moved away as Metal Sonic rammed into the Egg Mobile. Then Knuckles popped up from the side of the ice wall.
"Aah!" he said.
Sonic was running on the said wall when Knuckles popped up of one of the holes.
"Aah!" he said and she hoped over the said hole running away from Metal Sonic.
Then Sonic hoped on Knuckles' head and Knuckles had a bump on his head and gave her a thumbs down.
"Hurry! Hurry up!" Tails said and the President's rocket exploded.
"Daddy!" Sara said.
"Mr. President! Can you hear me?" Sonic asked.
Metal Sonic was carrying the President and Old Man Owl.
"Sonic!" Tails said.
"Sonic, are you all right?" Knuckles asked.
"Metal!" Sonic said and Metal Sonic dropped the President and Old Man Owl and a crater piece hit Metal Sonic. "No!" she said and saw when she lost Chuck.
"I'm sorry, young hedgehogs. I'm afraid you're too late." Oracle said.
"Farrell!" Manic said.
"No!" she said.
"It can't be!" Sonia said.

"Don't do it, Sonic! What are doing!? Stop! Sonic!" Tails said while Sonic hung on to the slanting rock and Metal climbed her way up to Sonic.
"Grab ahold of my hand!"
"Wait! Don't do it Sonic, she'll drag you under with him!" Knuckles said as Metal Sonic was about to take Sonic's hand, but slapped it away.
"Huh?"
"There is only one Sonic." Metal Sonic said in monotone.
"No! Metal!"
"Don't do it Sonic!" Knuckles said as Metal Sonic sunk into the lava and melted.
"METAL!"

"Come on, don't look so sad, Sonic. It's not like you at all." Sara said.
"She's right, you should be happy! Thanks to you, the planet was saved!" Tails said and Robotnik laughed.
"Oh no!" Everyone but Robotnik said.
"You're all fools! I still have all of Sonic's data here! Next time I'll build an even stronger Metal, that won't be handicapped by Sonic's personality, and then I will take over the entire planet!" Robotnik said and laughed as the turtle missile pants back to the Egg Mobile. "It must be very humbling to be in the presence of such a great scientific mind!" he said and the turtle missile grabbed his backup disc. "Hey, what are you doing?" he asked and screamed.
Then they turtle missile exploded and everyone else laughed.
"It's finally over. Thank goodness everything's all right." The President said.
"Almost! Not quite!" Knuckles said and hit Sonic on the head.
"What did you do that for?" Sonic asked.
"So now, we're finally even Sonic!" he said and started running away.
"What do you mean? Come back!"
"Sonic, wait for me! Wait for me!" Tails said.
"Why did you hit me?"
"I was getting you back for stepping on my head, Sonic!" Knuckles said.
"I don't remember doing that!"
"Well you did!"
"Did not!"
"Not so fast! You won't get away; I'll get your data-" Robotnik said and The President, Sara and Old Man Owl jump into the Egg Mobile. "Aah! Get off of me!"
"Stop talking and drive, Robotnik. Hurry up and catch Sonic!" Sara said.
"Of course I will Sara! Buckle up!"
As Sonic ran down the road with Knuckles and Tails, the rest of the cast approached Sonic from behind in the Egg Mobile.
"Woah! I'm getting out of here, Knuckles!" Sonic said.
"Hey, wait a minute! Sonic!" Knuckles said.
