It was a stormy night and the Egg Carrier was approaching Angel Island and Knuckles was sitting at the Master Emerald shrine, deep in thought as his eyes were closed.
"As far back as I can remember, I've been living here, on this dark island... Always guarding the Master Emerald from anything that can harm it. I don't know why I was given this job... Why it was my fate... Destined to be here... forever!" he said then heard a sudden crash. "What the...?" he said and turned around to find a something near the Master Emerald. "What's going on here? Oh no!" he said and saw Master Emerald had been destroyed. "Something has happened to the Master Emerald!" he said then turned his attention back to the creature. "Huh? Who are you? Did you do this? Ohhh, I'll get you for this!"
Then he tried to attack it but it leapt out of the way and crashed onto him.
"Ooomph!" he said and fell off of the shrine. "Ugh agh! Hey, no fair!" he said and ran back up the shrine but it dissolved as a puddle and left. "Wait! What's happening to you? Come back here! Wow! That was incredible! I've never seen anything like it!" he said and noticed Angel Island starting to shake. "Oh no! It's starting to happen. Without the Master Emerald's power, this whole island will fall into the ocean!"
Soon, Angel Island fell into the ocean, right next to the Mystic Ruins.
Meanwhile Big was fast asleep in his shack in the jungle area of the Mystic Ruins when there was an explosion nearby, waking up Froggy, who went to check. He came across a puddle of Chaos. The puddle suddenly lunged for him and attacked him. On his bed, Big started to stir and wake up.
"Huh... er... wha? Froggy, is that you? You're lookin' kinda weird, good buddy." he said and looked at Froggy's tail. "What's up with the tail?" he asked and Froggy swallowed Big's yellow Chaos Emerald. "Hey, wait a minute! You swallowed my lucky charm." he said and Froggy ran off. "Come back here... What's wrong with you? Something's not right. We've always been Friends... for years." he said and went after him. "Froggy! Wait up! Oh dear!"
Meanwhile in Station Square citizens mingled down the sidewalks on evening strolls. Above them, a helicopter flew low between the buildings heading for something. A red orb of light appeared to chased after it. Shortly thereafter, Sonic was bouncing back and forth off the sides of the buildings before leaping onto the roof of one to get a good look at Station Square's nighttime skyline.
"Ah, yeah! This is happenin'!" she said.
Suddenly hearing sirens, she looked down to see four police cars rushing to an emergency with screeching tires.
'Hmmmm.' she thought and jumped down just in time to see them disappear around the corner.
"What's up?" she said then Spin Dashed towards the commotion.
The police cars had formed a perimeter in front of a large building. Two helicopters hover overhead with their searchlights on. Chaos 0 fell into Station Square, landing on the roof over the entrance of the building and just standing there. Many police officers surrounded it.
"You are completely surrounded! Surrender yourself!" an officer said and they aimed their guns at Chaos 0 and then it jumped closer to them, landing on the ground in front of them. "Lock on target, men! Ready?... FIRE!"
The police fired at Chaos 0, but the bullets simply dropped to the ground after colliding with Chaos, having no effect on the creature. It let off a low growl.
"Oh, no! Our weapons are useless! Retreat! All personnel, fall back!" the officer said.
Most of the officers retreated to safety as the one giving the command fires a few more rounds at Chaos 0 to cover their escape. Then Sonic arrived and jumped onto police car.
"Ah yeah! This could be fun!" Sonic said and jumped towards Chaos 0.
After the fight she was chasing after Chaos who formed into a puddle and started heading for a drain.
"Come on, ya big drip! Where ya goin'?" she said as Chaos fell into the drain and escaped.
She looked down at where Chaos 0 fled as the police cars kept flashing their red and blue lights and the helicopters kept hovering overhead. Eggman was watching her from a distant building.
"You know nothing, fool! Even after all your years a Freedom Fighter! It's Chaos! The God of Destruction. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" he said.
Later Knuckles was in Station Square, presumably sometime after Angel Island descended into the ocean.
"It's up to me to find the missing pieces of the Master Emerald. It won't be easy. Pieces flew off everywhere. Guess I'd better start looking anywhere I can." he said and thought. "Maybe I should ask Sonia or Manic to help?" he said and shook his head.
In the skies over Station Square, Tails was flying in a plane.
"Everything's working great! All systems go... Full steam ahead!" he said then the plane started to shake. "Uh oh! What's this?" he said and the engine started sputtering and gave out, soon belching black smoke. "Nooooooooo!" he said and it started to fly around awkwardly. "Aaaaggg...! I'm outta control! Mayday! Mayday! Goin' down!" he said went through Station Square. "Aaaaggg...! Look out below!"
Meanwhile Sonic was relaxing at the Station Square hotel pool.
"Huh?" she said and suddenly saw Tails flying in his bi-plane going out of control. "What? Tails? Watch out! You're gonna crash! Ahhh!" she said and he crashed into Emerald Coast. "Tails... what am I gonna do with you?" she said, shrugged and jumped over the pool as they headed towards the entrance to Emerald Coast.
A few minutes later they were walking back to the pool with Tails.
"Hey Sonic. Long time no see, huh?" Tails said.
"I'm just glad you're okay. What happened anyway? You're too good of a pilot to just crash like that." Sonic said.
"That was a test run using a new prototype propulsion system. It's got a few bugs to iron out."
"Why not just use my plane, the Tornado?"
"Thanks, but you gotta check out my newest power supply! Ta dahhh!" he said and took out a Chaos Emerald.
"WHOA! A Chaos Emerald!"
"Yep! I just happened to find one of the 7 Emeralds during one of my test flights. This thing has unlimited powers, ya know... So I figured, why not use it to power my plane. Super charged! You gotta come over my workshop, Sonic! I've got something I've gotta show you! It's in the Mystic Ruins. The fastest way is by train. Let's go!"
Later Sonic and Tails arrived at the plateau below Tails' workshop on the nearby cliff, but were stopped by a voice.
"Ha ha ha ha! If it isn't Sonic!" Eggman said and descended in the Egg Mobile to confront them.
"Look! It's a giant talking egg!" Sonic said smirking a little.
"Silence! I am Dr. Robotnik, the greatest scientific genius in the world!"
"Whatever you say, Eggman!"
"Enough! I've got big plans and now I'm gonna put them to work!"
"You're always up to no good. Now what d'ya want?" Tails said and Eggman raised the Egg Mobile a little higher into the air.
"I want all the Chaos Emeralds. Better not interfere! Or else!"
"Or else what, ya big loser?" Sonic asked fighting the want to take out her guitar and slam him with it like old times.
"Or else I'll take them from you by force... the hard way!" he said and retreated to the cliff and sunk below it.
When he resurfaced, he had turned his Egg Mobile into the Egg Hornet and flew it back over to them, ready for a fight.
'Oh great.' Sonic thought.
After the fight Eggman's Egg Mobile fell to the ground, defeated.
"Well, that wasn't so hard!" Sonic said.
"AHA!" Eggman said and took the Chaos Emerald from Tails, catching them by surprise.
"Oh, no!"
"Come on Chaos, time to eat!"
"Chaos?" Sonic said and Chaos appeared beside her. "Oh no, isn't that the same monster I saw the other day..."
Eggman gave Chaos the Chaos Emerald and he grew bigger, becoming Chaos 1.
"Ooooh, yes! It's just as the stone tablets predicted. Ha ha ha ha ha! His strength increases every time I feed him a Chaos Emerald! With all 7 Emeralds in him, he'll be invincible! And work for me! Together, we'll destroy Station Square! And on its ruins, I will build Robotnikland, the ultimate city! Where I will rule it all! Come on Chaos! Let's find another Emerald, shall we?" Eggman said and transported away, taking Chaos 1 with him.
"Sonic! We can't let him get away with this. Can we?" Tails said.
"No way Tails!" Sonic said.
"Without more Emeralds, the monster can't transform, so... It's up to us to find those Emeralds before Eggman does, huh?"
"As always."
'God knows I've been doing it for so long.' she thought.
Later Big was in Station Square outside the train station as he started looking for Froggy.
"Yoohoo! Froggy! Come out, come out wherever you are! Oh man, where could my Pollywog Pal be, anyway?" he said.
Later he was at City Hall and spotted Froggy as he headed for the open manhole under a parked car.
"Froggy! There you are! Wait, don't run away! What cha' doin' under that car? What's wrong?" Big said.
Meanwhile Knuckles had just finished finding the Emerald Shards in Casinopolis when a red orb suddenly started to move around him; then, he was taken back in time.
Meanwhile Sonic and Tails walked out of Casinopolis and Eggman ambushed them.
"Hey!" Sonic said and they dodged his charge in the Egg Mobile, but the Chaos Emerald fell to the ground. "Oh no! The Chaos Emerald!"
"Oh, no you don't!" Eggman said and emitted a purple gas towards them.
"Aw Geesh!" she said and he flew away with the Chaos Emerald and laughed.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
"E-gg-ma-n-."
Then the screen flashed white. Sonic and Tails were unconscious before regaining their senses. It was the following morning after Eggman ambushed them last night.
Meanwhile.
"Where in the world am I?" Knuckles said and looked around. "I don't remember being here before. But something about it is familiar. Hmmmm... This is very strange."
After walking around, he saw two Echidnas named Tikal and Pachacamac talking.
"Father! Please don't!" Tikal said.
"Tikal, the 7 Emeralds are essential to our survival. It is for the good of all our people." Pachacamac said.
"How can I make you understand? Attacking other countries, stealing and killing... can't be the right path to peace. No one has the right to take their holy grounds. I beg you father!"
Then light engulfed around Knuckles and he was taken back to Station Square just outside Casinopolis.
"Uhh! Now where am I?" he said and looked around. "Back in Station Square, I see. What's going on around here anyway?" he said and headed into the hotel to see Eggman heading toward the elevator. "Hey, it's Dr. Eggman!" he said and noticed him holding something shiny. "What's he got there? It's gotta be a part of the Master Emerald! Hold on! Come back here!" he said and chased him into the elevator ending up in a restaurant area. "Eggman! Give me back the Master Emerald!"
"Knu... Knuckles! Uhh, this isn't what you're after!" Eggman said and showed him his Chaos Emerald.
"Huh, you're right!"
"That's okay, though. I could use you as a guinea pig to test it. Chaos! Chaos!"
The creature from earlier appeared and was different in appearance from before, having become Chaos 1 since Knuckles last saw it.
"Chaos? It's that creature again! The same one I saw on my island. He was there when the Master Emerald was shattered, I'm sure of it. He saved me the trouble of looking for him. Now I'll get him good!" Knuckles said.
Eggman tossed his Chaos Emerald into Chaos and Chaos grew in size becoming Chaos 2.
"Ha ha ha ha ha! Way to go, Chaos!" Eggman said.
"Hah! Changing shape won't scare me!" Knuckles said and Chaos 2 roared. "Fine! Give it your best shot!"
After the fight Chaos reverted back to a puddle.
"Bah! So what if you won this time. You have yet to see true powers of Chaos!" Eggman said.
"Yeah yeah, that still doesn't faze me, you hear?" Knuckles said.
"I know something that might. It's about Sonic."
"What? What about Sonic?"
"She's after the pieces of the Master Emerald, too!"
"What do you mean?" Knuckles asked but Eggman started to walk off but turned back around.
"You're not the only one on a wild goose chase, idiot! Why should I ruin your surprise? Ha ha ha ha ha ha..." he said and left.
"I wonder what he meant by that? I'd better find Sonic." Knuckles said after walking a few steps.
'She wouldn't really try and steal it, would she?' he thought.
Later he was at Mystic Ruins.
"I wonder why Sonic is after the Master Emerald? I'd better work fast and get to the bottom of this." Knuckles said.
It was now morning and Sonic and Tails had just woken up.
"Ugh.. Sonic... What happened to the Chaos Emerald?" Tails asked.
"Aahh... I guess Eggman got one of 'em, but the other one's safe. That guy must be desperate." Sonic said.
"That means his two to our one, and that's not good! Come on Sonic, we need to get busy!"
Later Knuckles was at Mystic Ruins clearing through Red Mountain to see Sonic and Tails and noticed Sonic was holding something.
"There's Sonic! Eggman was right. What's that in her hand? It looks like a piece of the Master Emerald! She has no right to have that!" he said.
"Hey, Knuckles!" Sonic said and Knuckles tried to attack her but she dodged. "Woah! What do you think you're doing?"
"All right! Put 'em up! Hand over the Emerald now!"
"That's not gonna happen buddy!" she said and they charged at each other and the collision causing her to drop her two Chaos Emeralds. "Ah geeze! Oh no! The Chaos Emeralds...!"
Then Eggman emitted a shining cyan light underneath the Egg Mobile, picking up the Chaos Emeralds and holding them out in front of him laughing.
"Eggman! What's he doing here?" Knuckles asked and Eggman took both Emeralds.
"Ha! That's all there is to it. You guys are too easy!" Eggman said and Knuckles noticed the green Emerald isn't a piece of the Master Emerald.
"That's a Chaos Emerald!"
"First come, first served, they say. And you served me too well for your own good! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"
"You can't get away with this!" Sonic said and turned to Knuckles. "Knuckles, did you let him trick you again?"
"Like, you weren't?" Knuckles said.
"Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha... I've got 4 Emeralds now. Here, Chaos!" Eggman said and Chaos' second form appeared. "Come here, my hungry pet!" he said and threw the Chaos Emeralds into Chaos turning it to Chaos 4.
"Ah! He transformed again!" Tails said.
"Man, no one ever cuts us any slack!" Sonic said.
Then a large flying fortress suddenly appeared in the sky above Mystic Ruins.
"Behold my floating masterpiece, the Egg Carrier! But it pales in comparison to the power of Chaos! Adieu... Until we meet again, my friends... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" Eggman said.
Then a bright cyan light shone on him and his Egg Mobile, lifting him towards the Egg Carrier. The Egg Carrier then flew away.
"Hey, we can't let him get away! Let's get to my workshop and we'll take the Tornado!" Tails said.
"Yeah!" Sonic said.
"You guys go! I have some unfinished business to take care of." Knuckles said. "Sorry about getting tricked again.
"No problem, Knuckles. We'll take care of everything here!" Sonic said and he got closer to her.
"Think about using your medallion. I know you don't want anyone to know who you are but it might help." he said and left while she looked at him and thought.
"Come on, let's get going!" Tails said and they went to the workshop and got the Tornado.
Sure enough they were at the Workshop.
"Sonic, wait here for a second..." Tails said and headed inside.
Sonic waited impatiently for a few seconds before approaching the cliff thinking about what Knuckles said, when a sudden rubble caught her off-guard. She shrugged it off before the palm trees lowered and the runway appeared. Tails came out with the Tornado ready for launch.
"Sonic, hop in!" he said and she jumped on the wings. "Let's go!" he said and the Tornado took off and pursued the Egg Carrier.
Meanwhile after recovering the Emerald Shard in Lost World, the same red light from earlier surrounded Knuckles and he was taken back in time again.
He was at the Master Emerald Shrine of the past.
"Where am I? This is very strange." he said then moved on forward to find Tikal talking to the Master Emerald.
"I beg of you. Hear me now. My father is coming here soon. And I fear what may happen. You must take everyone away from here! Oh please!" Tikal said and waited a brief moment. "So, are you saying you can't leave this place? I understand... Let me talk to my father again! There must be a better way to do this." she said and turned around to find some Chao. "Don't worry, my friends. I won't let you down. I must do something... quickly." she said and ran off.
Then Knuckles was taken back to the present to the Master Emerald shrine.
Meanwhile Sonic fell from the Tornado and landed on a beach with her head buried into the sand, just outside Emerald Coast back at the hotel in Station Square.
"Tails? ...Tails?" she said and stood and saw a random girl. "You're not who I'm looking for. Oh, I wonder if he's okay?" she asked and the girl watched her depart to look for Tails.
The Tornado got shot down after a massive blast fired from the Egg Carrier. In the Mystic Ruins, Tails was having a dream where he first encountered Sonic. Then he woke up in the main area of Mystic Ruins.
"Hmmm, wow... That dream brought back memories! I owe so much to Sonic. Sonic!" he said and got on his feet and looked around noticing Sonic wasn't around. "Hmmm, wonder where she went? Sure hope she's all right. The Tornado's not powerful enough. If I'm gonna get that Egg Carrier, I need to finish my prototype. It needs a Chaos Emerald to work! Looks like I'd better find one, fast!"
After searching around in the forest, Tails found a Chaos Emerald on the ground.
"Wow! There's a Chaos Emerald!" he said.
Suddenly, a frog ate the Chaos Emerald and hopped away.
"Hey, wait up!" he said and chased the frog into a cave. "Stop!"
Meanwhile Amy was walking down a sidewalk in Station Square with a bag of groceries in her hands.
Then she stopped.
"Gee, I'm bored. Every day's the same old thing... Same place, different day... I miss the good old days. Hangin' out with my hero, Sonic..." she said and thought back to a point when Sonic was carrying her and running away from Metal Sonic. "Chasing bad guys... And blowing them away- ha hah!" she said back in reality. "But now she's gone. And there's nothing left to do, but shop 'til I drop. There was always something fun to do with Sonic around. I really miss her." she said as a shadow cast over her. "Hey, what's going on here? Is there an eclipse today, or what? Nobody forecast a storm or anything." she said then turned around and dropped her groceries.
She looked to be horrified as the Egg Carrier flew over Station Square.
"Eggman? Can it be? What's that?" she said and soon a bird flew onto her face "Ahhh watch it, watch it. Ow! You should watch where you're going, buddy!" she said and looked at him. "Hey. Are you alright? You look kinda hurt."
Then there was a loud thud and she noticed that ZERO appeared and tried to attack her but misses.
"Huh... Uh oh." she said and ZERO turned around ready to attack her again. "Yikes! You almost ran me over you creep! Oh no! Let's get out of here!"
They hid in a shop while ZERO kept looking. It looked inside the shop, but saw nothing, then headed up the sidewalk and disappeared.
"That was one of Eggman's robots. Huh? He must've captured you, and somehow you got away, right? Don't worry. I'll protect you." she said and they came out of the shop. "I'll do my best to keep us both from harm, I'll stand by you all the way."
Later Sonic met Amy at the Casino area.
Suddenly she saw Sonic.
"Oh Sonic! Huh... My hero! So-nic!" she said and Sonic turned around. "Long time no see..."
"Uhh... Amy!" Sonic said.
"What's your problem?!" Amy asked and showed her the bird. "See, this little birdie's got in trouble. I think you should be her bodyguard a little while."
"What!?"
"Doesn't matter. We'll just tag along!"
"No way! Uh uh." Sonic said and walked back, then turned and started running.
"Come on, don't run away. Ohhhhhhhh..." Amy said running after him.
Meanwhile after searching around in the forest, Tails found a Chaos Emerald on the ground.
"Wow! There's a Chaos Emerald!" he said.
Suddenly, a frog ate the Chaos Emerald and hopped away.
"Hey, wait up!" he said and chased the frog into a cave. "Stop!"
Back with Amy and Sonic Amy ran to Sonic, who was in front of the entrance to Twinkle Park.
"Wait up, Sonic! Not fair! I can't run as fast as you!" Amy said then both noticed ZERO. "Ahhh! Look, Eggman's robot's on the loose!"
"Don't panic! I'll handle that bag of bolts!" Sonic said.
Soon she was finally done.
"There." she said.
"Ahhhhh!" Amy yelled and Sonic turned around to her.
"Now what's wrong?!" Sonic asked and saw Amy looking at the sign near the entrance "Huh?"
"Look! It says cute couples can get in free! What are we waiting for?" Amy said and got inside.
"Amy! Wai-wai-wai-wait! ...She's such a pain!" Sonic said and followed her.
Then Amy separated from Sonic and entered Twinkle Park by herself.
Meanwhile a red ball of light surrounded Tails and took him back into the past.
"Uh oh. I thought I was in the desert. I wonder where I am?" he said.
After getting the Rhythm Badge, Tails wondered around and found Tikal.
"The servers are the 7 Chaos Emeralds." Tikal said then turned around and saw Tails. "Hello there, friend. How are you?"
"Umm...what were you saying before?"
"Huh? It's something my grandmother taught me. I never to forget it. It goes like this... "The servers are the 7 Chaos. Chaos is power... Power enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos." But I'm still not sure what it all means. But the number 7...is the same as the number of Emeralds there are."
"Emeralds?"
"Forgive me, but I don't think we've met before... I'm Tikal... And you are?"
Before he could answer, Tails was taken back to the present and at the train station area of the Mystic Ruins holding Froggy.
Meanwhile Big was making his way through the area outside the train station in Mystic Ruins. He soon stopped when he saw Tails had captured Froggy.
"Oh no, he's got my little buddy!" he said and ran towards Tails and tripped. "Waaaaaaahhhhh! Ugh! Ugh!" he said and looked at Froggy. "Glad I found you!"
"Yiiikes!" Tails said and accidentally and confused let go of Froggy and he hopped away.
"Wait for me!" Big said chasing after Froggy.
"Weird! Now, where was I? Oh yeah! The Chaos Emerald... Perfect!" Tails said. "This will get my Tornado 2 up and rarin' to go!" he said holding the Chaos Emerald.
Later he was back to his workshop.
"The time has come at last. This new plane should work a lot better. I've ironed out most of the problems. So, here it goes! Emerald, do your stuff! Ready Sonic? Here I come!" he said and hopped in his new Tornado 2 and opened a door located down the cliff face from his workshop to prepare to launch it. "Tornado 2, clear for take off! Away we go!" he said the took off on his Tornado 2.
Meanwhile Sonic chased after Amy to look for her in Twinkle Park and emerged afterwards, unable to find her.
"Welcome to Twinkle Park!" PA System said.
"Oh shoot! I've lost Amy! I bet that robot hauled butt after her. I'd better catch her before it does." Sonic said.
Meanwhile Gamma woke up with the first thing he saw was Eggman.
"Excellent! All systems-full power!" Eggman said and Gamma looked around and then back at Eggman. "Look at me! I'm your brilliant creator, Dr. Robotnik! You're the second of my E-100 model machines. E-102! Code name: Gamma."
Gamma rotated his head one way and back the other before speaking.
"Gamma." he said.
"That's right! You will now obey only me!" Eggman said and walked off. "The shooting range is through this door. Your big brother, E-101 Beta, is there practicing. Enter, Gamma! You're not as advanced as Beta is, but you'll do fine." he said and Gamma entered the Final Egg shooting range.
After clearing through Final Egg, Gamma met with Eggman downstairs.
"Good job, Gamma! I didn't think you had what it takes!" Eggman said then left with Gamma following.
"Okay then, Gamma... Here's your test. If you want to stay on board, you must be able to pass it! So pay attention to what I say. The almighty Egg Carrier is a flying fortress that needs a good crew! Come forth, Beta!" Eggman said and Beta appeared behind Gamma. "I'd like you to meet your older brother E-101. Just call him Beta. I am pitting the two of you against each other, and the winner serves on my ship. I put my bets on Beta, but I owe you at least a fair chance."
Following the one-on-one fight between Beta and Gamma, Beta walked over to stand with Eggman as he congratulated Gamma on winning the bout and earning a place on the Egg Carrier.
"Ho Ho ho! You surprised me, Gamma! I had a funny feeling there was more to you than meets the eye. I hereby grant Gamma permission to serve on board the Egg Carrier." Eggman said and Beta stood beside him. "What? So you want to come along with us, eh?" he asked and Beta moved in front of him. "Okay, okay... We could use a spare set of parts, I guess. You have special permission." he said and departed as Gamma walked up next to Beta and both watched him depart.
Soon, the Egg Carrier lifted off into the skies.
A few minutes later they were inside of the Egg Carrier, Eggman was prepared to make an announcement to Gamma and three other E-series robots: E-103 Delta, E-104 Epsilon, and E-105 Zeta.
"Ah, hah... Testing, 1, 2, 3... Ahem... You, the elite Egg Carrier crew, are here today... To hear a very special announcement." he said and an image of Froggy was shown on the screen behind him. "Behold! It's a tailed frog! Very unique! This frog is absolutely vital to my plans! I command you to locate this frog immediately. You hear me? I don't care what it takes to get it. Just bring it to me!" he said and they agreed to this. "We haven't got time to waste. So come to attention!" he said and they headed out to find the frog.
Meanwhile Amy walked out of the entrance to Twinkle Park, looked around and walked again.
"Whew! I'm glad we finally lost that robot! Sonic must've gotten lost, too!" she said.
A giant shadow covered her and she turned around to find out it was ZERO, right behind her.
"Ahhhhh!" she said running away holding the bird.
ZERO grabbed her and the bird with his right hand and headed to the train station.
"Hey, watch it bolt brain, let us down! Let us go!" Amy said.
Meanwhile Sonic passed through Speed Highway, but found no sign of Amy until he checked the area outside Casinopolis.
"Amy! Oh man, where can she be?" she said.
"Aaaagh! Sonic! Help!" Amy said.
Sonic saw her being captured by ZERO, heading down the train tracks towards the Mystic Ruins.
"I'll cut 'em off at the Mystic Ruins!" she said.
Meanwhile Big had finally caught Froggy and was taking him home from Emerald Coast when Gamma suddenly ran in and snatched Froggy right out of his hands.
"Froggy?" Big said then noticed that Froggy was being captured by Gamma. "Uh oh! NO, hold on there! Come back, please! Give me my friend back! I'm beggin' ya, please!"
'Damnit!' she thought.
"All's well that ends well, right? Sonic?" Tails said.
Then Sonic jumped between the flooded buildings.
