Inside Maginaryworld Temple of Light, a portal opened and Sonic, Amy, Tails and Knuckles fell out of it.

"Aargh!" Sonic said and landed on the floor holding her medallion close.

"Ouuuuuuch!" Amy said and landed on the floor.

"Sonic!" Tails said and landed on the floor and ran over.

"Forget about Sonic! Just look at my clothes!" she said and Knuckles looked around.

"What is this place...?" Knuckles said. "Are we... dreaming?"

"Then... we're all part of the same dream? No way!"

"That's impossible." Tails said and Sonic shrugged.

"Well, one thing's for sure... We stumbled into a very strange place." Sonic said.

"Welcome to Maginaryworld!" someone said, teleported and Sonic whistled.

"Who are you?"

"I am Lumina... Lumina Flowlight. It's nice to meet you! You're all here because you received my message..."

"What is this place!?" Knuckles asked and Lumina removed walls and displayed Maginaryworld.

"Maginaryworld. A world created from the dreams of those from other dimensions... This is the Temple of Light... This is where the Precioustone was... it's the crystal that created this world."

"Precious... Stone..." Sonic said.

"WAS... then where is it now?" Amy asked.

"It's... no longer here... It was shattered to pieces..." Lumina said.

"What's wrong Lumina...?" Sonic asked.

"Lumina, if you don't mind, can you tell us what's troubling you!" Tails said.

"Precioustone... A crystal created from everyone's dreams." Lumina said and had a flashback of the Perfect Precioustone and Illumina. "The power of the precioustone makes dreams come true and is the essence of Meginaryworld's existence... Illumina, the Goddess of Dreams, and I are the protectors of the Precioustone." she said and saw another flashback of the Perfect Precioustone. "We guard the Precioustone so that everyone's dreams are protected... But one day darkness draped the Precioustone... and Void..." she said and saw Void shattering the Precioustone. "The Precioustone was stolen by the darkness of Void... and the Precioustone was shattered..." she said and the flashbacks ended. "When the Precioustone shattered, Illumina lost her powers and became a prisoner in a faraway world..."

"Void..." Sonic said.

"Void's power of darkness is transforming different parts of Maginaryworld... If this keeps up, this world will... Maginaryworld will cease to exist!...Please, please help me! I need your help! I need to gather the pieces of the Precioustone!" Lumina said and Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy looked at each other.

"Hey guys..."

"Yeah!" Tails said.

"Let's do it!" Amy said.

"Well, I've got nothing better to do." Knuckles said.

"Hey, leave it to us. We'll help this damsel in distress." Sonic said and Lumina was briefly seen. "I'm Sonic."

"Hi, I'm Tails!" Tails said.

"I'm Amy. Nice to meet you!" Amy said.

"And I'm Knuckles." Knuckles said.

"Thanks everyone!" Lumina said and a door opened. "OK, everyone! Let's go collect the pieces of the Precioustone!" she said and they went through the door.

Later they were at Emerald Coast exiting a portal.

"Wow! What a beautiful beach!" Amy said.

"A tropical island paradise created from the dreams of those who enjoy the sun. But now..." Lumina said.

Icebergs and frozen tornados were in the horizon.

"What's that!?" Knuckles asked.

"It's frozen..." Tails said.

"Is that Void's doing?" Sonic asked.

"The dark powers of Void are changing this paradise into a cold world of ice... If we don't do something this paradise is going to be sealed in ice forever! If we can get the Precioustone back, this world should return to the way it was! Come on everyone! Let's go get the Precioustone!" Lumina said.

"OK! Here we go!" Sonic said and they ran towards the icebergs.

At Blue void through a transparent tunnel Illumina was sitting at the Temple of Light.

"Please... Help me... You must hurry... The darkness will engulf the dreams... Void is going to destroy the Precioustone..." Illumina said and Void destroyed the Perfect Precioustone. "Maginaryworld will cease to exist..."

At Blue void Lumina and Void were facing each other.

"Please! Stop! Please don't destroy the Precioustone! Please don't destroy our world made of everyone's dreams!" Lumina said then Sonic walked in.

"The Precioustone will shatter if I touch it. Maginaryworld... My world... The world of my dreams..." Void said and Sonic faced him.

"Hey! I'm not gonna let you do that! This world does not belong to you. It belongs to everybody. It's the world of everyone's dreams!" Sonic said.

Everything white out through a transparent tunnel through a blue void. Sonic woke up in Emerald Coast with Tails, Knuckles and Amy.

"I guess we made it..." Sonic said.

"Look, everyone..." Lumina said.

At Emerald Coast the entire area from above, was half-frozen. Everything then thawed out and the sky was repaired, returning Emerald Coast to normal.

Later Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy are looking over Emerald Coast.

"Wow it's beautiful..." Tails said.

"It sure is." Amy said.

"Thank you everyone! With the piece of the Precioustone brought back to the Temple of Light, this place has been saved and has returned to the beautiful world it was!" Lumina said.

"OK, Lumina. Let's go to the next world." Sonic said.

"OK!" Lumina said and opened a portal. "Come on everyone, lets go!" she said and they entered the portal, then closed.

A few seconds later they were at an exit portal.

"Wh... Where are we?" Sonic asked.

"It looks like we're airborne!" Knuckles said and a giant bird-shaped airplane came.

"This is a world that has lost its wings of freedom. The true form of this world is trapped within this airplane!" Lumina said and the airplane started descending. "Oh no... We're losing speed... if we don't do something we're going to crash! We have to hurry!"

"OK! Here we go!" Sonic said and they moved across the airplane.

At a transparent tunnel Sonic, Lumina and Void were standing in a blue void.

"Please... please stop Void! Hurry and return the Precioustone. Please return Goddess Illumina..." Lumina said.

"Hey Void! What are you anyway? Where did you come from?" Sonic said.

"Where did I come from? I... I didn't come from anywhere. I've always been here..." Void said.

"Why did you destroy the Precioustone?"

"I didn't destroy the Precioustone!"

"You're lying. You're destroying everyone's dreams!"

"Destroying dreams? I don't destroy them... I am a dream..."

Then everything whited out and a transparent tunnel was through a blue void. Sonic found herself on an air balloon with Lumina, Tails, Knuckles and Amy.

"It's beginning! The Firebird has risen from the ashes..." Lumina said.

The bird-shaped airplane was on fire and a large phoenix broke out from it. The phoenix flew through the sky which was repaired.

Sonic, Lumina, Tails, Knuckles and Amy were on top of an air balloon.

"Wings of... Freedom..." Sonic said.

"It's wonderful...!" Tails said.

"So this Maginaryworld. The land of dreams..." Knuckles said.

"Wow, this is cool!" Amy said.

"The wings that recovered its freedom... The freedom to go where one's heart desires... The spirit of dreams are to travel through air, land, sea, and even between stars... There may be differences but the spirit is the same... like the phoenix. Now the phoenix can fly freely! The dream to be free has been restored! Thank you everyone!" Lumina said and opened a portal. "Come on everyone, lets go! On to the next Precioustone piece!" she said and flew into it while Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy jumped into it before it closed.

A few seconds later they were exiting a portal and were at Nature Zone.

"Wow! This was a jungle..." Amy said.

"But, look at this..." Sonic said and Tails looked around.

"Is this Void's doing?" Tails asked.

"This jungle was created from the dreams of those wishing to be one one with nature. And that... Was placed by the dark powers of Void to destroy this world... The dark powers of Void are already destroying this place... We have to hurry to save the jungle! Come on everyone! Let's go get the Precioustone! And return this world to the beautiful jungle full of life!" Lumina said.

Then they moved into the jungle.

Sonic was at a transparent tunnel standing before Illumina in a yellow void.

"...What is... your dream?" Illumina asked.

"My... dream?" Sonic said. "My dream... is... to make Maginaryworld a world full of light... Maginaryworld... A dream world filled with beautiful light." Illumina said and everything white out.

Sonic, Lumina and Void were in a transparent tunnel standing in a blue void.

"Illumina wished for a beautiful dream world... But Void was born..." Lumina said.

"Why are you trying to stop me? Why are you tormenting me? I only want to..." Void said.

"The world Illumina dreamed of... The world she wished for... But Void was born..." Sonic said.

Everything whites out and they were all standing at Nature Zone.

"Look everyone... The jungle... It's regenerating itself..." Lumina said.

At Nature Zone the dark pillars were crumbling away, plants were growing and the sky was repaired, returning the area to normal.

Sonic, Lumina, Tails, Knuckles and Amy were watching the restoration.

"The jungle's been regenerated..." Knuckles said.

"Wow! Looks totally different..." Amy said.

"Yeah... it feels alive!" Tails said.

"Yeah..." Sonic said thinking about what Mobotropolis had become over the years after they took him down.

"Nature is so beautiful! You have to respect Mother Nature. Our dreams... A world we want to protect... But... Sometimes people forget to love Mother Nature... I'm afraid... nobody will wish for this world..." Lumina said.

"Lumina... We won't let out dreams die!"

"That's right! So cheer up!" Tails said.

"Don't worry, everything will be alright!" Amy said and Knuckles nodded.

"Thank you... everyone!" Lumina sad.

"Now we've collected 3 Precioustones..." Sonic said.

"Let's go! We have to find the next Precioustone!" Lumina said and they headed towards the forest.

Then Lumina, Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy exit a portal and landed on a train.

"Where... are we?" Sonic asked.

"Give me a break! What is this place!?" Amy said.

"The dream for adventure and travel... This world was made from dreams of those who love adventure." Lumina said. "But now we have no destination and we're out of control!" she said and Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy got up. "This train is very unstable... There's no way to predict what will happen! Be careful, everyone!"

Sonic, Lumina and Void were standing in a blue void.

"Maginaryworld... The world where everyone's dreams come true... Precioustone... The crystalized essence of everyone's dreams... But... There are many different kinds of dreams. Ambition, Possession, Domination... These are dreams from the dark realm. Is that... Void?" Lumina said.

"I am a dream... I'm a part of everyone's dream... Maginaryworld... Pieces of dreams... I am a piece of a dream... I am a Precioustone... I am returning to the Temple of Light... To the Temple where everyone waits..." Void said.

"...I understand." Sonic said and looked towards Void. "Void! You're...!"

Then everything whites out and they were going through a blue void.

A few seconds later Sonic, Lumina, Tails, Knuckles and Amy were moving away from a smoking train.

Sonic stopped and turned towards the train.

"Alright! We stopped the Train!" she said.

"The smoke is clearing..." Lumina said.

The smokes cleared and the train shred its outer shell. Then it moved towards a cliff, where it sprouted wings before driving over the edge and flying through the repaired sky.

Inside the train cart Sonic, Lumina, Tails, Knuckles and Amy were standing in the aisle.

"OK everyone! We're heading into the 4th Dimension!" Lumina said.

"A piece of the Precioustone is there?" Sonic said.

"Yes. It's the last one!"

"This is it Sonic!" Tails said and Amy giggled.

"This is getting exciting!" she said.

"...We're almost there! We're entering the 4th Dimension!" Lumina said and everything white out.

Soon they were flying through the air.

"Look, the worlds we traveled through..." Sonic said and Tails looked around.

"It looks like they're projected on a screen!" Tails said.

"They're beautiful..." Amy said.

"Lumina, what is this place...?" Knuckles asked.

"This is the 4th Dimension, the world Illumina dreamed of... It's beautiful... But it's also a very fragile world made of dreams... Can you see? All the worlds exist separately." Lumina said and looked back. "We don't have much time! Maginaryworld may disappear at any moment!"

"We're finally here..." Tails said.

"This is the last..." Knuckles said.

"piece of the Precioustone..." Amy said and Sonic looked around.

"OK everyone! Here we go!" Sonic said and they flew through the space.

Soon Void was flying towards the Temple of Light and Lumina gasped.

"...Void is heading for the Temple of Light! He's going to shatter the Precioustone we collected... Hurry! We have to catch him!" she said and they flew towards the Temple of Light.

Soon they were at Temple of Light and Void was standing before the Perfect Precioustone and Sonic, Lumina, Tails, Knuckles and Amy were standing at the entrance.

"Stop!" Lumina said and Void looked at her. "Why? Why destroy the Precioustone? Why destroy everyone's dreams?"

"Am I alone?" Void asked and looked at the Precioustone. "I am not alone... My friends, my brothers, I want to be whole..."

"...What? What are you saying?"

"I was looking for everyone... So I could be whole. And I found everyone... But everyone ran away from me. I tried to reach them but..."

"...You sought the Precioustone because..." Sonic said then Void turned towards them.

"I am so lonely..." Void said and started trembling. "You don't need me? Then... why... was I bo... r... n..."

Then dark light erupted from Void and everything white out.

Later Lumina was sitting alone in a completely dark void. Then Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles appeared one by one and the blackness faded away to reveal the Temple of Light.

"Why? Why doesn't the light return to the Precioustone? Why doesn't Illumina return? We defeated Void... the darkness that destroys dreams." Lumina said.

"Lumina..." Sonic said.

"Maginaryworld... is finished... The people who once dreamed about this world have forgotten about it..."

"That's not true! Your voice and Illumina's wish has touched us!" Tails said.

"Don't say such a thing, Lumina!" Amy said.

"That's right! It... can't be!" Knuckles said.

Sonic looked down and picked up a dark gem.

"What's this?" she asked and a transparent image of Void briefly appeared.

"Illumina... Why do you reject me? Lumina... Why do you hate me? You, and I, aren't we... the same?" Void asked.

Sonic looked at the gem and walked over to Lumina.

"Lumina. Don't forget about him..." Sonic said.

"That's!?" Lumina said.

"Void... Anger, Sadness, Despair, and Emptiness... Aren't dreams born because everyone has these feelings? Don't these feelings make our dreams even stronger? Void... He was probably part of the Precioustone... He was part of a feeling that is necessary for dreams to come true."

"Lumina... Can't you accept Void for what he is? Dreams probably can't exist without it... It's the same with me. When I'm down and I feel I can't go on any more... that's when I know I have to try harder! because I have my own dreams!" Tails said.

"It's a dream because it hasn't been fulfilled yet... But one day you'll make it come true. You can live through each day because you have dreams! No matter how small they are." Amy said.

"Dreams don't betray us. When we lose ourselves... that's when we lose our dreams. It's not that dreams don't come true. We just give up on them. We know that... and you should know it better than us..." Knuckles said.

Lumina slowly raised to her feet and looked up.

"...Thank you everyone. I was probably the one... who had lost myself in my dark feelings..." she said and received the dark gem from Sonic and walked up to the Perfect Precioustone.

Lumina stood before the Perfect Precioustone with the dark gem. Then she flew up to the Perfect Precioustone and insert the dark gem into it, resulting in her getting pulled into the Perfect Precioustone. There, the dark gem transformed into Void and a column of light shot into the Temple of Light which repaired the Perfect Precioustone. Inside the Perfect Precioustone, glowed brightly, Lumina reached her hands out to Void who hesitantly grabbed them. Then they merge together in a ball of light and Illumina emerged.

Later Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy were floating in a transparent tunnel and looking behind them.

Then Illumina appeared.

"Thank you... Now Maginaryworld will become an even better world than it was before." Illumina said and looked at Tails. "I'm sorry... I'm the one who lost myself and almost lost my dream..." she said and looked at Knuckles. "Maginaryworld and people's emotions are fragile. It doesn't take much to crush them..." she said and looked at Amy. "Even the strongest of people have dark emotions in their hearts." she said and looked at Sonic. "We must be stronger... Emptiness does not conquer dreams... Dreams conquer the emptiness..." she said and Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy flew into a light at the end of the tunnel which expanded and they were gone.
