Claws and Scar two alpha wolves from the eastern pack walked through the grassy fields with their heads hung low in defeat as they had another unsuccessful hunt news their pack leader Tony won't like one bit. When the pair arrived at the Eastern pack territory they were immediately greeted with many disappointed looks from their packmates neither Scar or Claws could look them in the eye as it would make them feel more bad.

Just then Tony approached them with a little frown seeing them empty handed "another failure, what happened this time?"Tony asked with a stern tone Scar spoke first deciding to give tony a shorter version "We had a couple of caribou in our sights but a couple of Western dogs got in our way,and there was a stampede,Kate saved us,we got into a fight, we got an Omega dropped on us,the caribou mooned us and we were kicked out."Scar said with disappointment in his voice tony took a deep breath fighting the urge to yell out in frustration and possibly take it out on them "Anything else?"Tony asked tensely Claws and Scar shook their heads not wanting to upset him further "I'll have a little talk with Winston, you're dismissed."Tony said walking away as the crowd started to disperse, Claw and Scar were about to leave when they were approached by Link and Lyle.

"So let me get this straight:you two failed to get food for the pack, but not only that you guys got an Omega dropped on top of you and you were mooned by the caribou?"Lyle asked with a mockingbird smile "What losers!"Link exclaimed as he and Lyle laughed making Claws grit her teeth wanting to knock every single one of their teeth down their throats however she decided that these idiots weren't worth it and decided to just walk away.

Scar scoffed at them and walked another direction as link and Lyle continued to laugh however Garth who watched the whole thing walked up beside them "Shut up."he growled with authority making them both stop laughing then he followed Claws with the intent on making her feel better.

Garth saw Claws sitting by a tree with a defeated expression on her face,it looked like she was going to cry,Garth couldn't stand to see one of his pack mates like this so like any good future pack leader and friend he decided to cheer her up, Garth approached claws and sat down next to her "Hey don't beat yourself up I'm sure you and Scar did your very best."he said kindly "Tell that to the pack."she said glumly "Don't worry soon this whole sneaking into the western territory nonsense is going to stop because my dad has a plan."Garth said confidently Claws scoffed "you mean the idea that you and that Kate chick marry to unite the packs, that's stupid."

"Yes I agree but it's the only way to end our hunger and stop plan b from happening which is all out war, I'm willing to do this because I care about everyone in this tribe including you Claws."Garth said rubbing Claws shoulder making Claws smile a bit Garth had a gigantic heart,worthy of a pack leader.

"I still think the arranged marriage thing is stupid giving that...you know..."Claws said with a little smile "You have a little crush on me?"Garth asked with a little smile Garth knew Claws liked him that way because she showed all the signs in alpha school and the fact that she asked him to the moonlight howl once but nothing else became of the relationship as they were extremely busy with alpha things.

"Can't blame me for that Garth, you're just so damn sexy."Claws said looking up and down at Garth's muscular body making Garth laugh "no no I can't,but don't worry Claws we'll still be friends."Garth said "but I want us to be more than that."Claws said with glumly looking deeply into Garth's emerald green eyes, Garth sighed as he stared back at Claws seeing your crush marry someone else is a heart wrenching thing it happens to everyone.

It was then Garth had an idea to make Claws happy and with satisfaction "I'm sorry Claws,but...if it makes you feel better, I'd think we'd make a great and mighty married couple."Garth said and he turned and gave Claws a big kiss on the cheek making her eyes widen in surprise and blush a little bit. "Keep your chin up Alpha."Garth said as he stood up and walked away leaving Claws alone with a smile on her face as she took in Garth's words.
