[Not much longer knuckles returned with an older echidna similar to him but with a small red beard.]
Knuckles: sonica, this is my father locke.
[Locke and Sonia shock hands.]
Locke: Nice to meet you sonica.
Sonica: You too.
Locke: my son told me about your situation. I deeply apologize for your misfortunes.
Sonica: thank you
Locke: I give you my permission to stay here as long as you need.
Sonica: Thank you
Locke: your welcome. Now if you excuse me I'm needed somewhere.
[Locke left.]
Sonica: So this is your dad?
Knuckles: yep. Why don't I show you around Angel island?
Sonica: sure.
[For the rest of the day knuckles have been showing sonica Echidnaopolis. Sonica was fascinated by the sights, the cars and even the food. At lunchtime knuckles got sonica and himself chili dogs. Sonica was confused about them at first until he took a bite and then ate them in one gulp while knuckles ate his slowly. Then knuckles took sonica around the island lands and sonica was curious about everything around him. Knuckles finds it weird that sonica was acting like she never saw anything before but he thought it was because she was one the run from the bandits. To be honest he finds it cute for her to be curious. ]
[ Elsewhere Locke was coming down to a place called Haven to where his fellow guardians. He walked to the meeting room where there were four echidnas. One is dark red with white stripes and wears a blue tunic and a monocle named saber. A purple echidna that wears a blue vest, brown boots and belt named thunderhawk. A red echidna that wears a green vest, green boots, a white spiked gloves, a yellow ribbon and a metal plate on his forehead is named Sojourner. A black echidna that wears a black cloak and some silver helmet named Spectre.]
Saber: where have you been son?
Locke: knuckles had to introduce me to a visitor
Thunderhawk: a visitor?
Locke: yes. A female blue hedgehog sonica who's apparently been attacked by bandits.
Sojourner: why do I have a feeling that she more then a damsel in distress?
Spectre: people aren't always what they appear to be. We should've learned that with Moritori Rex.
Locke: your right grandfather. We should keep an eye on her just in case.
Back in the underground base finitevus was watching knuckles and sonica through monitors.
Finitevus: I say, knuckles has grown attached to my little creation. It won't be long now.
