A few days turned into weeks, then into months. Sonica's leg heald but she stayed. Knuckles and sonica got closer and closer.sonica tried not to get close to the guardian but she couldn't help it. Knuckles was so strong, handsome, and kind to her. Right now the pair are up in a tree looking up to the stars. Knuckles has one arm around sonica.
Knuckles: so how are you feeling around Echidnaopolis?
Sonic: its beautiful but the island is just breath taking.
Knuckles: [Chuckles] I'm guessing you don't get out that much?
Sonica: [sadden] no. It's... kind of a dream of mine. To explore the planet, experience new things.
Knuckles: Then how come you haven't done it?
Sonica: well something stops me. [ thought] or someone]
Knuckles: Come I want to show you something bit you can't tell anyone.
Sonica: Okay.
Knuckles helped sonica down and led her to the master emerald alter where the giant master emerald lays]
Knuckles: this here is the Master Emerald.
Sonica: it huge[ this is what I'm supposed to take?]
Knuckles: I'm the emeralds guardian and so is my family. You see long ago two enchinas scientists brothers, Edmund and Dimitri. They were trying to find a way to have the island down on the ground but the council refused. Dimitri swore vengeance. He used the Chaos Syphon suit to drain the Chaos Emeralds but things went wrong and he turned into the most powerful being called Enerjak. But in the end it destroyed him but not fully he was just buried. Thats when the war broke out.
Sonica: war?
Knuckles: yah. Years later after Dimitri "death", his son Menniker formed the dark legion. A group of enchinas who are as you could say technology obsessed. There mission was Force technology to the people. But my Ancestor Edmund's son Steppenwolf banished them to the Twilight Zone. But sometime later they escaped and the whole war started. That's where my family comes in. It our duty to protect the emerald,the island and the people. When the time came steppenwolf passed his
duties as guardian to his son, Moonwatcher. Then moonwatcher passed his responsibilities to his son. It continued on until me.
Sonica: wow.
Knuckles: yah. You know I'm glad you fell here.[blushes embarrassed] I mean..that.. that
Sonica: I get it.
[Knuckles and Sonic got closer and closer towards each other and kissed. But unknown to them dr.finitevus was watching and was not happy.
Finitevus: it seems that they are too close to each other. I'll have to stop this before she becomes corrupted too.
[ next morning. Knuckles seventh father Spectre was on patrol with Archimedes. They came across a lake with sonica bathing.]
Archimedes: is this the girl knuckles saved.
Spectre: it is but I can't help that there's something that this girl is hiding something.
[Suddenly there's a a warp ring behind sonica.]
Archimedes: I believe we're about to have our answer.
[Spectre and archimedes hid behind the trees and used his chaos made shadow to hid better.]
Sonica continued to bath obligated that there was a warp ring behind her. The albino enchina stepped out Spectre: [Angrily shocked] finitevus? What is he doing here?
Archimedes: it looks like he's heading towards the girl.
[Finitevus walked silently towards sonica and touched her shoulder.]
Sonica[gasped and turned around] finitevus stop doing that!
Spectre: she knows his name?
Finitevus: did you really think I wouldn't find out?
Sonica[ nervously] w-what do you mean?
Dr.finitevus: you know what I mean. I'm talking about you and the guardian.
Sonica: I thought that I mission is to get close to the guardian.
Finitevus[ shakes his head] your mission was to gain the guardian's trust and take the Master Emerald.
[Spectre and archimedes was shocked that sonica was playing knuckles the entire time and that sonica works for Dr.finitevus]
[Dr.finitevus grabbed sonica by her quills and sonica looks up to him terrified.]
Finitevus: you bring me the Master Emerald tonight or knuckles gets hurt! [Tights his grip on sonica's quills causing her pain]
Sonica[pained grunt]
Finitevus: do I make myself clear!?
[Sonica painfully nods. Dr.finitevus let go which made sonica fall. Finitevus opened a warp ring and went and the ring closed. Sonica couldn't hold it and cried.
Sonica: I'm so knuckles! I have no choice!
[ sonica ran out of the lake leaving Spectre and archimedes speechless.]
Spectre: I knew something was off about this girl.
Archimedes: [ looked in thought] Maybe so but it seems that there's even more than what we saw. Maybe if we could get her alone we could talk to her and figure out whats going on.
Spectre: [growls] she used him archimedes. She used my grandson.
Archimedes[calm] Maybe so but as I say there maybe more to this story. It seems that the girl was terrified by finitevus.
Spectre: if finitevus is here than danger is nearby. We need to warn the others.
[Archimedes telaported himself and Spectre to haven.]
[ somewhere on the island, the chaotix were walking around when Lara-Le caught up to them asking if they've seen knuckles but they haven't. Just them hooded figures comes put of a warp ring. The Chaotix fought hard and protected Lara-Le bit there were too many of the and they were knocked out and taken throught the ring.
[ back in haven. Spectre ran towards the meeting room where his grandsons are at.]
Sojourner: father? What's wrong.
Spectre: apparently we were wrong about the girl. I recently found out that she is working for finitevus and was using knuckles to find the Master Emerald.
Locke: what?!
Thunderhawk: we need to warn knuckles!
?? You won't be warning anyone about anything.
The five enchinas see a warp ring and and came out five hooded soldiers with dart guns and Dr.finitevus. the brotherhood prepared to fight.]
Saber: waht for you want?!
Finitevus[amused] Oh, I need a few things from you but that would revealed in time.
[ taken the hint the soldiers shot the five guardians with tranquilizers,knocking then out.]
Finitevus[Smirks] excellent boys. Take them to the lab.
[ In a poof of smoke;Archimedes,Semper Fidelis and Deo Volente arrived on the scene. Finitevus turned to see the fire ants.
Finitevus: well well well. The fire ants. I was wondering when you were going to show.
Semper: what have you done.
Finitevus: Oh I just need to…borrow them for a few things.
Archimedes: your not taking them anywhere!
Finitevus: I don't think do fire ant.
Archimedes: it archimedes. Remember the name that helped kicked your butt in the Enerjak incident.
Finitevus[rolls his eyes] oh good one but I'm prepared this time.
[ finitevus raised his hand and used special Chaos energy to paralysis the fire ants.
Deo[ shocked] what how!?
Finitevus: months of practice.
Finitevus used his energy to trap them in some chaotic energy cocoons.
Finitevus: my plan is finally pit into action and no one can stop me. Hahahahahahhaha.
