[It was late at night but sonica couldn't sleep at all. How could she with her head pounding with questions; with doubt. She wants to believe Dr.finitevus but what guardian Spectre said. With a grunt of annoyance sonica got out of her bed and started to pace around her room but she can't think straight. So confused. It almost felt like she was being used. She's so conflicted with the two that she has no idea what to do. She walks to her mirror and looks at herself hoping that she has not gone crazy. But then she saw the brotherhood in her mirror. Sonica quickly looked away. Those people are just in her mind. It just doesn't want to leave her alone. It's just their corrupted ways trying to trick her but what if they're telling the truth. Should she go with them and leave? Even if she does leave she won't have anywhere to go. She has to tell knuckles the truth but she doubts that knuckles would want to see her anymore if she tells him. She looks at her mirror again but this time the image was her creator. should she just do as Dr.finitevus please? Finitevus did create her, taught her about the world,and her purpose. Is that all she needs? She doesn't know what to do or who to believe; but then there was a buzzing in her head.]

?: sonica can you hear me?

Sonica: what? Who's there?

?: im archimedes the fire ant.

Sonica: where are you?

Archimedes: I'm speaking to you through telepathy in your mind.

Sonica: What do you want from me?

Archimedes: I just want to talk about finitevus.

Sonica: I'm already getting a headache from this.

Archimedes: please just listen. Your brain may be thinking one way but your heart is speaking another way. So tell me how are you feeling right now?

Sonica: I don't know. Right now I'm having mixed feelings. Finitevus told me about how this world and everyone is corrupted but you and these guardians are saying another. I'm [sigh] I guess you could say I'm confused.

Archimedes: You have the right to be confused, you don't have to make a decision right now but why don't we talk face to face.

[With a final sigh sonica left the room quietly. Finitevus told her that even geniuses need rest. But with him you can never be too careful. With the others. The guardians were recovering from

finitevus latest experiments. The Chaotix, Lara-Le and the fire ants are still with them. Everyone heard the conversation between Archimedes and sonica.]

Thunderhawk: [ turns to Spectre] are you sure this is going to work?

Specter: if sonica finds out the truth we can have her at our side. [ turn to locke] do you have it?

Locke nodded and pulled out a silver disk from his lab coat.

Lara-Le: What exactly is that?

Locke: thai contains the information about finitevus that sonica needs to know.

Archimedes: she should be coming anytime now.

[Speaking of the girl, sonica just arrived at the main laboratory. When she saw the condition of the guardians, she ran to their cells.]

Sonica: are... are you alright.

Sojourner: were alright. It'll take a lot more than that to bring us down.

[Sonica nodded, then turned to Spectre.]

Sonica: Mr Spectre, I came alone like you ask.

Specter: Listen closely, we have a lot to talk about and little time. Finitevus isn't who he probably says he is. I need you to know the real him. [ took the disk from Locke and hand it over to sonica]

Sonica: What's this?

Locke: this has the answers to who finitevus really is.

[ sonica nervously pressed the button and a holographic image of a purple enchina appeared]

??:Hello to whomever found this recording. I beg you to listen because I have not much time. My name is Gala-Na, and I was once head of the Executive council of Albion.I once helped maintain the first, and greatest echidna settlement on all of Mobius.We were the cradle of science and technology. Now it is all lost.

[The hologram changed into Chaos Knuckles.]

Gala-Na:One can say it all began when a young boy named Knuckles, lost control of his Chaos powers that had been engineered into him before birth.

[The image changed again this time showing a male red echidna wearing an orange shirt with a green strap to it, along with yellow boots. He had purple eyes and he also had a pair of glasses along with white gloves. He was in a gray suit with matching gray boots. Sonic thought he looked a little familiar.]

Gala-Na:It was decided Knuckles had to be Contained. Part of the operations were headed by the promising young Chaos scientist, Dr. Finitevus and his Chaos Siphon Suit.

[Sonic eyes went wide along with the chertex. ]

Vector: That's doctor finitevus?!

[Lara-Le shushes him as Gala-Na continues to speak. The image changed again this time it was Chaos Knuckles being drained of his power by the normal Dr. Finitevus.]

Gala-Na: Dr. Finitevus bravely attempted to release much of Knuckle's power. Instead he was bathed in the intense Chaos Energy. The energy...changed him.

Soncia: Change him. What does she mean?

Saber:keep watching and you'll find out.

[The image shows that dr. Finitevus was now albino and sitting up in a hospital bed and a smirk was on his face.]

Gala-Na:At first we thought that it was for the best. All of his Physical and Mental traits seemed enhanced but he soon began to violently condemn the stare of our world and society..."

Sonica: What does that mean?

Thunderhawk: it means that he thinks that the world and everyone is corrupted.

[The image changed again to that finitevus working with his corrupted chaos energy and a warp ring.]

Gala-Na:Finitevus quickly learned to channel the Chaos Force and used its ambient energies in his new, dangerous inventions. I was the deciding vote to call for his euthanasia.

[The image changed once again to an echidna guard watching finitevus coming out of a warp ring.]

Gala-Na: However, Dr. Finitevus managed to escape. All our efforts to find him failed. We were completely unprepared for his return.

Sonica: Why do I have a bad feeling about what's going to happen next?

[Sonica supestions were correct. What she saw was horrible. The image was now Finitevus stood on a building top laughing. Battle blimp were attacking Albion with lasers as flames erupted from all around and buildings collapsed and exploded.]

Gala-Na: He sabotaged all our defenses before leading an invasion force from the Eggman Empire right into the heart of our city. In only a few hours, Eggman had leveled our city and began to capture us all.

[The image changed for the final time back to Gala-Na as she looked scared.]

Gala-Na:I have been discovered! Please, if you can, find and stop Dr. Finitevus. He will not stop until the world has been reduced to cinders. Save yourself from our mistakes! I'm sorry.

[With that the recording ended leaving sonica speechless of what she saw and heard. The world wasn't corrupted, finitevus is.]

Sonica: Oh my gosh. Is this true?

??: Is that true?

[Everyone turned to see finitevus standing at the doorway.]

Soncia: Doctor. I thought you were asleep.

Finitevus:I was but I needed to get some work done when I heard an interesting conversation.

[Sonica panicked. Finitevus saw the disk in sonica's hand and recognized it instantly]

Finitevus[scowls] where did you get that?

Sonica: Is it true? Is everything Gala-Na said true?

[Finitevus stayed silent for a bit]

Finitevus: it's true.

[Soncia couldn't believe what she heard . Finitevus just admitted]

Sonica: you-you said no one would get hurt with all this re-creating the world.

Finitevus: they were in the way purging the world by fire. [Shrugged] so a few lives were sacrificed.

Soncia[getting angry] you- you lied to me! You used me!

Vector[mumbled] now she Realized it.

[Mighty stepped on Vectors tail to shut him up]

Sonica: You said that my purpose was to help you make the world better.

Finitevus: I didn't lie about that. In fact...

[Before finitevus could say anything else sonica punched him right in the face surprising everyone.]

Finitevus: [ growls] big mistake.

[finitevus coated his hands with corrupted Chaos energy and shot at soncia but she dodged. She ran to finitevus to punch him again but a hand came out of a warp ring and grabbed sonica's quills while another punched her in the stomach. Sonica knelt down and held her stomach in pain. Soncia ignored the pain and tried to punch finitevus but he caught her fist finitevus tried to do the same but sonica caught his fist. They stayed like this for a while trying to out strength each other. The others were watching the fight nervously, hoping sonica could possibly win.]

Finitevus: if you think you could defeat me, think again.

Soncia: What makes you say that? You taught me everything I know.

Finitevus: maybe so but [ finitevus kicked sonica's leg making soncia let go of finitevus's hand. Finitevus took the opportunity and punched sonica so hard she flew to the wall unconscious.] But you don't know everything I know.

Lara-Le: no!

Saber: child get up!

Finitevus: it seems you become disobedient. I should have known that you being around others would have corrupted you. But there is still a way to save you if my plan comes through.

Ray: wh-what are you going to do?

Finitevus: I'm afraid that I can't reveal it to you.

Specter: soncia. What are you going to do to her!?

Finitevus: didn't want to do this but it seems that I have no choice.

[Dr.finitevus walked to his table and pulled out a bracelet]

[He went to his computer to put in some kind of code. He walked back to soncia and pit the bracelet on her wrist.]

Finitevus: with This bracelet soncia will have to follow my orders. Weather she want to or not.

Lara-Le: you monster!

Finitevus: you can call me what you want it'll change nothing. Soncia will carry out the plan and nothing will stop me.

Locke: knuckles is still out there. He could be on his way.

Finitevus[Smirks] oh, I count on that. He part of the plan. Like I said No one can stop me.[laughs]

[Faraway, knuckles still head on to sandtropolies when he heard something. When he looked up it was his great grandfather athair.]

Athair: knuckles, I'm here to warn you that the challenge ahead will not be an easy one. Also remember things aren't always what they appear.

Knuckles: Wait what do you mean?

Athair: [disappear] not what the appear.

[Knuckles thought about waht he said but Shrugged it off and went off but what he didn't know that the truth will led him a heartbreak.]
