Ever since that day…everything changed.
To strike fear in the heart of the world Eggman declared all over the world that Sonic…the hero who has protected everyone from the threats that came…has died. All that idolized him cried for their hero gone and those who knew him personally were struck with even more grief for the loss of a good friend. Soon after, Eggman's conquest continued outside San Franobia.
One after another, many countries and cities fell to the hands of the Eggman Empire. Station Square, Soleana, Bygone, Mobotropolis, and many more were all taken over within just twenty-four hours. The success due to old foes leading the charge.
Chaos flooded Station Square, Iblis and Mephiles burned Soleana to the ground, The Deadly Six took down Bygone, and Dark Gaia tore Mobotropolis apart.
Those who were optimistic that this situation will end quickly with the other heroes roaming the world still soon realized that this takeover won't end in a very long while and soon many countries and cities became a part of the Eggman Empire and within these cities, many were given a choice. Join the empire or…suffer.
Many had no choice but to join for the sake of loved ones' survival but those who didn't were now behind bars with a perfect view of the beautiful world of Mobius now becoming just a land of ruin and despair.
With the heroes weak and Sonic no longer there it seems almost all hope was lost.

Act 2
Resistance
48 hours after Sonic's death, 24 Hours after Declaration of Sonic's D̴̢̠̪͓̖̣̼̲̗͒̿̀̓͗͊̏͌̋͛͐̒̾ę̸͔͕͍̻̻̬̤̦̦̪̝̪̀̇̅̾̂̃̾̾̽̀͋̓ͅa̴̖̗͕̜̫͑ẗ̸̡̜̘̪̬͙̱̜̘́̅̃̌͌͘̚͝͝ͅh̷̠̣̥͚̿̔
Mystic Ruins
The fire crackled, burning everything within the ruins to nothing but ash. Roaming the now burning ruins were monsters made by Dark Gaia and Iblis, all tasked to destroy everything within the area till it was all rubble. They burned the train station, sheds, and Tails' old workshop before advancing deeper into the caves. As they roamed the area, something roamed through the shadows of the cave. Iblis' creatures mostly illuminated the place but these figures managed to stay away from their light.
The monster leading the army sees the end of the tunnel and continues the march before soon noticing a silhouette waiting at the exit.
"This place is off limits." Said the female silhouette. "Leave…or else."
The monster leader grunts before letting out a bellowing roar that echoed through the caves.
GRAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

"So, you aren't leaving huh? You ask for it. CHAOTICS NOW!"
The faint sounds of something crashing can be heard before it got louder and louder and when the leader turned around…
"INCOMING!" Shouted a crocodile mobian…DRIVING A MINI CAR, before jumping off it and letting the vehicle head straight for the leader.
Crash
The leader catches the vehicle before slamming the hood, destroying its engine. "HEY! That car cost about a thousand bucks! You're gonna pay for that!" Said the crocodile mobian, Vector. After breaking the vehicle, the leader saw that most of its army was on the ground due to the impact that vehicle gave, however, they began to get back up again and soon surrounded the mobian. "Don't think that this will stop me! GET EM TEAM!"
"RIGHT!" Answered those from the shadows as three figures came out from there revealing themselves to be a chameleon, bee, and armadillo mobian. Espio, Charmy, and Mighty. The four chaotics then charged in.
Vector began to push his batch of monsters into the deep parts of the cave once more before punching the monsters one at a time, he swiped one at the head, the other at the chest, and uppercutting the next by the chin though more began to come in so he just put some boulders into his mouth and spits them out like fireballs at them knocking them down, he lastly spins dashes through them all, destroying them in an instant.
Espio ran by the monsters with his ninja speed dodging all the attacks coming at him he then jumped over them and began to throw his kunai at them stunning them before throwing his shurikens to slice them with ease. One monster comes at him from behind but Espio disappears in a puff of smoke before kicking the creature from behind with a spin dash to finish it. He then ends it off by going invisible and then hitting the rest, knocking them all down easily.
Mighty punched any monster in sight, never letting one escape his grasp. One managed to get the jump on him from behind but when they struck him at the back, he didn't flinch! The next thing the monster saw was a pair of hands grabbing its claw before getting thrown to its fellow monsters. Mighty then charges up a spin dash before coming at them full force turning them into rubble.
Charmy though…wasn't having it easy. Due to being small and just having a stinger while up against monsters…made of rock, he was struggling. Especially since he was against the leader. Though he was perfect at one thing…distraction.
The silhouette slowly approaches the leader while pulling out something big…a hammer before starting to jog, then run, then sprint until jumping behind the monster.
PIKO
And SLAMMING it with the hammer. The head shatters while the body hits the ground. At the same time, the remaining monsters were taken down by the rest of the Chaotics.
"And THAT is for my car," Vector said before sighing. "The ambush worked just as planned, Amy."
"Was there any doubt it'll work Vector?" The silhouette asked, leaning the hammer on her shoulder. The luminescence of the cave revealed the silhouette to be a female pink hedgehog with a red dress and a clip that holds two red feathers. This was Amy Rose, giving the crocodile a smirk that made him chuckle nervously.
"N-No! I never said anything about it not working! Nope!" He clarified frantically.
"Good." The hedgehog sighed before making her way outside. Once outside Amy looks at her surroundings, where she stood was just a cliff with a view of the ocean. A part of this cliff was a bridge…half of a bridge led to nothing. She looks at this specific spot as if there was something there originally. She lets out a sigh before looking at a pocket watch she had on her. "I guess it's almost time." She approaches the halved bridge where a pink board was stationed, her extreme gear.
Vector and the chaotics approach her. "You sure about this Amy? You know I can take your place and visit him. I have experience with extreme gears along with me and him having a good history with each other."
"I know," Amy answered him, her voice no longer sounding confident as earlier before looking back at the team with a serious look. "But we've been together longer than he was with you and I know how he acts so…I better do it."
The crocodile sighed; she was correct she knew the guy before he did so he agreed. "Okay. Good luck then."
"Thank you." She gets on the board as it starts to levitate. She looks back at them one more time. "Take care of Tails and the refugees." They nodded before she changed her sights to a cluster of thundering clouds. "Time for me to pay that knucklehead a visit."
ZOOM
She takes off for the clouds.
Angel Island
Within the dark clouds, a floating island stood. Angel Island and right now…
BOOM BOOM BOOM
It was under siege.
The forest burned as egg robots old and new swarmed the place, looking for something that lay within the floating rock. They searched high and low, every cave, every waterline, and every mountain until they found what they were tasked to find. An old temple with a green light shining brightly. The robots approach the rock, however…
POW
Something got in their way. Sending one of the bots crashing to the others like a bowling ball was a red echidna with mitten-like-spiky-gloves. Knuckles the Echidna, guardian of Angel Island. An angry guardian at that.
"You better get off my island OR ELSE I'LL TURN YOU INTO SCRAP!" He warned but the bots didn't listen so he began punching. He punched one at the head, one at the gut, one at anywhere his hands decided to go, with his immense strength he was able to take down as many robots as possible though more were still around and began to fire at him so he began to dodge them by flying around, he then scrapped more bots after descending upon them gracefully.
After busting down the last bot, Knuckles dusted himself off, not knowing…

PIKO
It collapses after the sudden hit to the head. The echidna turned around to surprise only to see a downed robot…and one Amy Rose. "Hello, Knuckles."
He raised a brow. "Amy?" He crossed his arms maintaining a seriousness. "What are you doing here?"
"You know why I am here. The robots also show why." Amy answered seriously.
"I see." Knuckles said before letting his guard down. "Fine then, follow me." He passes by the hedgehog while heading for the temple. "You can also drop the serious act. I know you don't mean it."
Surprised at first Amy tried to talk back before stopping herself and letting a serious face turn to a frown. She then followed the echidna.
"I take it you have heard about what happened yesterday." He asked as both walked to the stairs.
"Yes." She answered. "I heard beforehand that San Franobia was under attack and I already knew Sonic would be on the case but…I never expected him to…to…"
24 Hours Earlier
Green Hill Village
Amy was conversing with two female mobian rabbits, Cream and Vanilla when one of Eggman's ships appeared in the sky.
Then from the speakers, the doctor talked. [GREETINGS CITIZENS OF MOBIUS! It is I, Dr. Ivo Robotnik here to finally declare that from this moment forward I'LL BE YOUR NEW RULER! And don't think your hedgehog will save the day for I brought an end to it, or to be not vague…He's dead.]
Everyone along with Cream and Vanilla gasped in horror but Amy…her heart dropped everything turning to death as she began to confirm what she just heard…Sonic…the hedgehog she has longed to date ever since they were kids…has now departed from the land of the living. She began to tear up "No…No…it can't be- IT CAN'T BE TRUE!'
[And to prove I have done the act. Here…] Eggman said before showing everyone a recording of what happened. Sonic was out sped by the masked being before fighting more seriously until being beaten up like a rag doll leading up to his hand dropping to the ground proving once and for all…he had died.
"N-No…no…please…that can't be true! SONIC!" She cried.
Present
Angel Island
Amy hugged herself, wishing to forget what she had seen earlier. "I understand, sorry you had to go through that." She snaps out of her state before looking at the echidna. She shook her head.
"Don't worry Knuckles, you had no control over that." She told him as they began to walk up the steps. "And by the fact, you asked me that question, I take it you witnessed it too?"
"Yes." Knuckles answered.
"How tough?"
He sighed. "Let's just say…One of Eggman's ships was near my vicinity."
24 Hours Earlier
Angel Island, Station Square
[GREETINGS CITIZENS OF MOBIUS!]
Knuckles was awakened from slumber after hearing the doctor's voice booming from outside the island. He arrived at the scene where he saw the ship floating over the city.
[It is I, Dr. Ivo Robotnik here to finally declare that from this moment forward I'LL BE YOUR NEW RULER!]
The Guardian facepalmed, he was at it again. But these say that wasn't his job to stop him, it was Sonic's job, surely he'll-
[And don't think your hedgehog will save the day for I brought an end to it, or to be not vague…He's dead.]
Knuckle's eyes widened in shock…Did-Did he hear that correctly…Sonic…dead? No…impossible…he wouldn't fall that easily. But then he saw the recording and he was absolutely terrified seeing all those past villains beating his rival down till he finally slumped dead. He steps back. "This…This can't be happening…no way." The next thing he saw was egg robots descending from the ship and in a matter of seconds what he saw was no longer a peaceful city with a cool breeze…it was a burning ruin with flying ashes.
Present
Angel Island
"I see. You must've got it harder than I. Not being able to intervene due to your duties." Amy frowned as they almost reached the top.
"Yeah, that sounds about right. Whatever happened to Cream and Vanilla by the way?" Knuckles asked, remembering two people were there with Amy back then.
"They're safe, after what happened, the village was attacked, we managed to evacuate to a safe area in the zone and they may stay there for the time being. Cream was also devastated after hearing about Sonic's…"
"No need to finish. I understand saying those words is something you never thought you would say but here we are." The two arrived at the top where a giant emerald resided…the master emerald. Though it seemed to be glowing faintly. "The master emerald has been acting up recently or acting less, it began to lose its glow and the weather surrounding the island has also acted up recently."
"Can it manipulate the weather? I never knew it could do that?" Amy admitted.
"It serves as the island's security system or camouflage so that whenever the island floats above any city, town, or village it can blend in easily with the clouds." He explained leaning his hand on the gem. "I know why you came here Amy, and I have to, unfortunately, decline your offer. You can understand why."
"Yeah." Amy looks down in disappointment. "Like with the city you can't join us due to your duty as guardian, it's understandable due to the strength of the enemy we have now being a combination of past powerful individuals."
"That is correct, and Sonic has already said it himself that I don't need to partake in all of his battles." He pointed out, which surprised Amy.
"Sonic said that?"
"Yes, after Sonic and Tails what happened with the Deadly Six, I and Sonic had a chat. He explained how appreciated he was for me coming more often but after that fiasco, he told me it was best if I returned to the island and continued my duty. He told me you guys will be fine without my help. What was important is that the master emerald needs to stay protected during world-ending plots. And ever since then I stayed." He explained before turning back to Amy. "Though I gotta admit, another reason I came back here is that I needed a break from you guys, you guys really rubbed me off on how I acted back then."
Amy chuckled. "Yeah, that sounds about right." She sighs. "Well, I better get going. I don't think the Chaotics will be enough to defend the refugees, see ya ." She takes her leave before being stopped.
"Wait, Amy." She stops and looks back at him. "While I did say I can't join you guys down there, I didn't say you guys can join me up here." His clarification confused her for a moment until she understood the message.
"Wait…you don't mean…"
"Eggman will continue to wipe down any place where people can hide so what better place for them to seek refuge than in the one place I know best." He smiled.
Amy smiled before raising a brow. "I thought you said you hated outsiders."
"Considering that all the refugees aren't power-hungry maniacs, I'll make an exception." Knuckles said before getting a hug from the hedgehog.
"Thank you." She said,
The echidna did nothing but hugged back. "You're welcome." They break the hug and the hedgehog takes her leave once more. Knuckles stood there smiling before looking at the dark clouds now turning to white. "Don't worry Sonic, I won't let you down. I will make sure of it."
12 Hours Later
After Amy returned from Angel Island, she found the Chaotics managing to take care of the safe area, she explained to them what Knuckles had said, they were relieved that Knuckles, in his way…agreed as well as glad that they also found a place where the evacuees can stay.
Though the difficult part now was to transport them to Angel Island now. Luckily Vector had connections with someone that could help them out, after twelve hours, Vector came…with a bunch of cargo planes! Now the transportation has begun.
Green Hill
It was night time at Greenhills, the sound that echoed was the sound of planes. On a flattened land that acted as a runway, cargo planes took off carrying hundreds of refugees to their tasked location, Angel Island, which was out of camouflage mode.
Watching from afar, on a hill, were Amy and the Chaotics. As they watched, Amy spotted a group of people bringing an unconscious Tails into the last plane by stretcher. She frowns. "Tails' plane is next, right?" Vector asked her, and she nodded. The crocodile signs. "It must be very rough for the kid, out of all of us he knew Sonic the longest, and him also witnessing the death may break him down when he wakes up again."
"Yeah…" Amy agreed. "According to the people who escaped with him, he was screaming as he saw the portal closed with Sonic on the other side dead and the amount of pain he experienced along with his injured state knocked him out cold. I don't know how he'll react when we tell him the news."
Vector nodded. "Let's just hope it doesn't make us lose him in the process."
"WHAT!?" The group shouted.
"By running away I mean!" The detective clarified. The group sighed in relief, him also sighing as well. "Man, this situation is really making us think dark now."
"Yeah…" Amy frowned, holding herself, how did they get to this point? Just a few weeks ago the atmosphere was the complete opposite as it was now. Everyone was roaming freely with nothing to fear, even if there were frowns around the blue blur will always be there to cheer them all up. That was what made her fall in love with him when they first met…before little planet happened. As she continued to think back…
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" A scream was heard, the group turned to see a mobian girl running to the plane. "HURRY UP EVERYONE! THEY'RE COMING!" Her demand brought the refugees into a frenzy as they frantically tried to enter the plane, carless of if they stepped over one another.
"No way!" Vector said in shock. "She has to be joking right?"
"She isn't Vector! Look!" Charmy, who was using binoculars, hands them over to the crocodile to use and to his horror he sees it.
An army filled to the brim with many series of egg robots along with monsters charging in and worse of all…King Arthur, Mecha Sonic's Mk 1 & 2, and a bunch of E-Series robots lead the charge.
"My god, there's so many of them!" Vector said.
"And they even have a big man on a horse!" Charmy added.
"So, what's the plan?" Espio asked as he and Mighty got ready for a fight.
Amy summons her hammer. "Buy the cargo plane time to take off, after that get your extreme gear and head for the island, got it?"
"Got it!" The chaotics answered.
"Good. Let's go!" They jump into battle.
As the army charged for the plane.
STAB STAB STAB STAB STAB
Multiple kunai stabbed multiple bots making them come down forcing the army to stop. After they stopped Amy and the Chaotics appeared between them and the plane.
King Arthur spoke. "So, you must be allies of the fake king, Sonic."
They looked at the man in surprise. He knew Sonic? But they had never seen him before. "How do you know Sonic?" Vector demanded.
As Amy looked at the king, the mention of that title started to click in her mind. "Wait. King…Sonic only mentioned that term before and that was when…" She gasped remembering how he missed their date back then and he explained something about traveling to another world where he fought as a knight before finding out he was a king…the true king- "You're king Arthur aren't you!"
The man chuckled. "My my, this lady here seems to know about me, I am flattered, though you look surprisingly similar to Nimue, no matter. I am here under the cooperation of one Sir Robotnik for one thing, to claim my rights as the real king Arthur!" He draws out his sword ready for battle, the group doing the same.
Vector though had to ask one last time. "Wait, you know who he is? How?"
"Let's just say I put the pieces together of Sonic's crazy story. No time to explain."
"Army of Robotnik…ATTACK!"
The two sides charged in and began fighting.
The group of five did what they could to hold back the army.
Charmy went for the weak robots in the army, since he can't go for the big ones he can at least do the little ones and his speed really helped break them down, even his stinger managing to puncture through multiple robots before he needed to fly around to build up his strength again.
Vector went for the E-series. He slammed them to the ground, punched them in the heads, and swung them around like ragdolls to each other. Though due to them being enhanced Eggman robots he had difficulties with some of them like the enhanced missile wrist and beacon.
Espio and Mighty took care of the two mechas, Mighty had MK 1 and Espio handled Mk 2. And their battle was…challenging.
Mk 1 kept charging at Mighty with his boosters nonstop, the armadillo managed to dodge those attacks but the speed kept on catching him off guard, but it didn't stop. The mecha began to spin dash him multiple times and again the mobian kept dodging but he wasn't able to dodge most of them as one of the attempts manages to get him from behind, he used his back to block it but the fact that the spines were basically a buzzsaw caused him to scream from the multiple blades slashing his back. He pushed it back but the immense pain really weakened him a lot as the mecha began firing its spines as well.
Mk 2 was a whole other story. As Espio fought him with his speed and agility trying to land a good kick or punch, Mk 2 dodged it with ease with no problem at all before going for its attack on the chameleon. It charges at Espio and sends in a barrage of punches at him and shockingly enough Espio manages to dodge half before feeling the full force of the other half, the lengthy arm didn't make it easier at all. Espio jumped away from the bot but it didn't stop because it flew to him, opened up its chest cavity to reveal its eye, and began firing balls of energy at him. He once again uses his agility to prevent himself from getting hit along with throwing his shurikens but it was all in vain when one manages to hit him. Mecha then closed up the cavity and descended fast before going in for an uppercut.
Amy had it worse by far as she went against King Arthur. A hammer vs sword fight ensued as the hedgehog began to bring down the hammer hundreds of tries to land a blow on the king but he deflects the attack easily, swinging his sword while still on his horse. "So, this is the power of the fake king's allies? How pathetic." With one good swing, Amy gets knocked to the ground. "Once I am done here, I will get back at the rodent by helping Sir Robotnik influence the world that their fake king was nothing more than a fraud that deserved execution."
"Fraud? Deserved execution!? Just because Sonic beat you in the past!?" She grunted before getting up and summoning this time a silver version of the hammer, The Large Piko Piko hammer. She glared at the man. "HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT!?" She jumped at him and began to swing the hammer harder than before matching the king's. "SONIC DID THAT BECAUSE HE WANTED TO HELP END YOUR EVIL REIGN IN YOUR WORLD! AND YOU'RE GOING TO GET BACK AT HIM BY TRYING TO RUIN HIS NAME!? THAT JUST MAKES YOU UNWORTHY OF THE TITLE OF KING EVEN MORE!" As she goes for another swing the king vanishes in a blur before kicking her from behind with the horse's legs.
"But from what I heard he also wasn't worthy. A king should be able to sway his audience and have a crowd follow him. From what I hear, he couldn't even make his closest allies believe he was a king, and I would guess you were one of them." He explained. Amy gritted her teeth before throwing a pink tornado at him but he deals with it easily with a single slash that dissipates it quickly. "Face it, girl, your friend was a fraud. He deserved death."
"SHUT UP!" Amy throws her hammer at Arthur, which he slashes away before, before charging up a spin dash. "You have NO RIGHT to say anything about Sonic! MY FRIEND WHO HAS SAVED ME TIME AND TIME AGAIN FROM BAD MEN AND FROM BAD THOUGHTS! I WON'T LET ANYONE TARNISH HIS NAME EVER! TAKE THIS!" She then charges at him with a spin dash.
And what happened next, shocked her.
WHACK
"AH!" Amy gets forced out of the spin dash and hits the ground. She looks at him in shock.
Arthur just…smack her. He didn't even use his dominant hand…he just…
"You're so weak that I could just take you down easily without lifting my sword at all." Arthur grabs her by the collar. "Now. Surrender those people…or else." Amy could've whimpered, cried, or anything at that moment but all she did…was a smirk.
"Too late."
Arthur's eyes widen as he looks ahead and sees the last cargo plane take off for Angel Island. "NO!" He throws Amy to the side and tries to chase the aircraft but it was long gone by then. "COME BACK HERE YOU METALIC FOWL!" He growled before hearing the chuckling from the hedgehog.
"Y-You're too slow," Amy said.
The king growled before approaching her. "You will pay for taunting me." He prepared his sword giving the hedgehog the sign of what that means…she's going to die.
"AMY!" The chaotics tried to get to her but their current opponent prevented it, even the lesser egg robots kept Charmy from intervening.
"Think of this as a bright side, brat. You can join your fake king in hell!" Amy flinched at the term hell but the first part didn't sound bad…at least she could be with Sonic again, right?
The blade was raised, she closed her eyes as it then…descended.
…
The pain never came.
Amy opened her eyes to see the blade close to her face but a blue glow surrounding it…held it back. "WHAT!?" Like the king she too was surprised but after looking at the weapon…she recognized it. Only one power could do this and that power belonged to…
"Hey, Amy!" She turns around to see a hedgehog with metal-colored fur. Silver the Hedgehog.
"Silver!" Amy said relief as her friend from the future lands before her and helps her up. "Thanks." He nods back.
"Silver…yet another ally of the rodent who looks like and wields powers like one of my knights. No matter, I will deal with you easily." Arthur said, preparing to charge at him.
"Sorry to say but me and my friends are good for today, so if you excuse us. We'll be going now. BYE!" He uses his psychokinesis on the entire army, halting them all from battling and also saving the others the trouble of fighting. "GO! NOW!" Everyone nodded before running to get their extreme gears, they then took off for the island. After they left Silver stopped his powers before flying off as well. Mecha MK 2 and other flying robots prepared to go after them but Arthur stopped them.
"Leave them, they aren't part of the original plan. Let's go." He said before leaving the scene on his horse...
Angel Island
While the last cargo plane landed on the makeshift runway of the island, everyone who went ahead began to make themselves at home with Knuckles guiding them to areas for them to rest. Meanwhile, Amy and the Chaotics were with their savior.
"Thanks for saving us back there Silber. If you weren't there, I would've been a goner." Amy thanked him.
"No problem Amy, you're my friend I will always take care of my friends." Silver said. "But I am still confused. What the heck happened here? The first thing I saw after arriving was literally a world that almost made me think I never left my timeline along with you guys fighting robots and a freaking knight!"
"Oh…so you don't know yet." Amy frowned along with the others.
"Don't know? Don't know what?" The man from the future asked before Knuckles got his attention from behind.
"I'll explain." The hedgehog nodded. The echidna looked at the rest. "You guys' rest, you all had a long day." They nod back at him after that the two mobians walked off with the red one explaining everything.
30 Minutes Later
Silver sat on the steps of the temple, having a perfect view of the world that Eggman had conquered. He frowned. "No matter how many times I replay what you just said, I just can't accept it. Eggman has taken over the world, Iblis and Mephiles are alive, and Sonic's…dead? I-I don't know what to think about this."
"Yeah, me too." Knuckles joins him. "It was unexpected for all of us and most of us wish this wasn't real…but it is and it may just get worse after all." He looks at him. "You're here and you're from the future meaning one thing…the future has it worse…right?" Looking at his friend.
"Yeah." He answers. "It isn't even the bad future that we had during the Solaris incident because it also includes many more kinds of states than a molten world, like one area is ruled by a king, another ruled by devil-like beings, and one that has people…as robot slaves!"
"Man, by your explanation it seems all of Sonic's old foes managed to get what they wanted in the end." Knuckles concluded. "Did you at least see who may be pulling all the strings?"
"Yeah…I did, it was this man with a mask with this strange gem on his chest. I saw him commanding one of those devils and it followed the command like it was a puppet." Silver recalled.
"I see. Well, at least we have one major clue to this puzzle." Knuckles said as he got up. The night starts to have tints of orange on the horizon. "That man you mentioned may just be the real leader of that group and I can bet that's who killed Sonic. Meaning we just have to find a way to stop him, if we stop him, we stop them all."
Silver couldn't help but agree with that theory. "I guess you're right." He stands up. "But what if Eggman attacks again while we're still weak?"
"Simple…we resist." A female voice answered as they looked down to see Amy walking up the steps, at the same time the night sky began to fade. "And we'll continue to resist until we run. Sonic never gives up when chances are slim, if he were here now he would want us to push forward and to fight with all we have."
The sun began to rise.
Knuckles chuckled. "So, we're gonna show that egghead resistance huh?"
"Yes, but not just metaphorically, literally." Amy makes it to the top, the sun shining behind her. "Starting today, the Resistance is formed and the resistance…never quits."
"The Resistance? I like the sound of that. I'm in." Knuckles agrees.
"I want to make sure my future is safe, with this Resistance I know we'll make it great again." Silver joined in.
"Good. I was hoping you two would agree." Amy said with a smile.
"Why is that?" the hedgehog asked.
"Because I need you two to help me out on this one. A few minutes ago we got a message from the radio channel 102.08 Radio Resistance, whoever they are, they're good cause they announced they took down a Death Egg Robo." The two were surprised by that, someone took down that big robot? Major respect. "If we're going to make this Resistance be strong enough to take back what we lost, we may need their help. Vector is already tracking down the call since his job as a detective has taught him…a few tricks. Once he gets the location, I would like for you Knuckles to bring Angel Island there to lessen the troubles of fighting Eggman's forces and you Silver to aid me just in case we get ambushed."
"Moving Angel Island I can do, but make sure whatever you're doing will cost the island, the refugee, AND the emerald." Knuckles warned.
"Understood." Amy nodded before going back down the steps. "See you in a while." 'Sonic…I know you're gone…but I promise this. I- no. WE will avenge you and I'll never let anyone EVER tarnish your name again.'
'You can count on it.'
"Promise me you will stay by my side?"
"Count on it!"
Amy smiled as she returned to the others, as the new day started. The day…

Within the void of space stood a spherical space station with Eggman's face on it and a small planet locked within.
Inside Eggman stood alongside the masked jackal as they observed the window. On the other side egg, robots worked, and lying on an infirmary was the dead hedgehog, Sonic.

And another chapter…IS COMPLETE! Man, I have to tell people what we plan for this story will ROCK YA WORLD! Probably. Either way, I hope you enjoy the chapter which explained how Silver came and how the resistance was born along with a few locations from past games and other media as well as the return of some familiar weapons and upgrades Amy once had in the past as well as some lore about her past. Oooooooohhhhhhh makes you excited RIGHT!?
Also, I think after this, development of new chapters may take longer since both of us will be in school by and after August 15.
