Lurolona village
Clark was helping the farmer's of the village with their crops, it was somewhat nostalgic for him and taking care of the filolians they brought with them was a challenge at first but after getting some tips from one of the demi humans with fox ears, the birds became very cooperative as long as he gave them food
"Mister shield" Keel calls out for the hero as he came to the red barn
"Something you need help with?" Clark asked as he placed a bucket of water down and one of the filolians began to drank it
"Lady Seaetto asked me to deliver this two papers for you, one is the people missing and the other is the one's you saved" Keel said as he handed the two list's to the shield hero
"Ah! thank you this should help with the search" superman looked at the papers for a moment before storing them in his inventory
"...can I ask you something?" the dog boy asked as he looked down on the grass, a bit shy of what he was about to ask
"Sure, what is it?" superman asked
"Could you look for Mrs Sardina first?" Keel said as he looked to the man of steel
"I suppose, is she a relative of your's?" Superman asked again, if their family had been separated during their time in slavery he would be more than happy to help them reunite
"No... she is the strongest person in the village, I think she might be out there looking for us since she was traveling in the sea when we got captured and sold..." Keel said as he looked to the ground, he knew Sardina was strong but... what if she got caught by a level 100 slaver? or was eaten by a gargantuan sea beast and was now stuck inside of it, he couldn't help but worry
"..."Clark looked at Keel for a moment, whoever this Sardina was, it was clear that the boy idolized her and he saw her like a inspiration of sorts "alright do you have a picture of her or something I can use as a reference?"
"Yeah! I made a drawing of her" Keel took another paper out and gave it to Clark, on one side there was a drawing of a buff person with a killer whale head holding a harpoon of sorts while the other side had a drawing of a stick figure woman with a long hair using the same harpoon
"one is Mrs Sardina in her therianthrope form and the other is how she looks when she is not transformed" the dog boy explained in excitement
"Okay, I will do my best" Superman responded as he would have to rely on his super hearing more than his super vision for this one, considering the drawing wasn't the most helpful
Zeltobe capital, Merchant street
"Man this is a good spear!" Motoyasu says as he looks on his newly unlocked [Shooting Star Spear] he was very excited to test the meteor ability of this spear 'I could use this against the next wave boss or maybe in that good for nothing Kal-El'
"Yes, this bow has a fantastic holy magic ability" Itsuki commented as he equipped his own new bow, the [Titanium Paladin Bow] it was a large bow decorated by gold details and red gems across the tip of each end with its main distinct detail being the cross shape it had
Ren just keep quiet for himself as his [Dark Light Sword] glimmers as if a whole night sky was inside the blade 'it is mostly a utility sword but the 80% damage against dark monsters or the 10% resistance to dark magic could prove very useful'
"Now we got the gear and the levels to destroy that wave!" Motoyasu happily exclaimed, with the levels he was and the weapon forms he unlocked in this place, there was no way they would lose this wave
"Definitely, we should head back to Melromarc" Itsuki says as he turns around ready to leave
"You guys can go, I'm gonna look around for more swords to copy" Ren lied as he wanted to be the only one to register in the hourglass of Zeltobe, if Motoyasu or Itsuki knew about it they would go synchronize there too, which would meant that he wouldn't get any exp from the wave in this country
"Why? I thought you got the strongest ones already?" Itsuki asked, they had spent the entire day looking around and copying any weapon that picked their interest, of course they didn't pay for most of them as just by holding the weapon of same class they could copy it, but still he didn't saw why Ren would want to keep looking around the place for possibly inferior swords
"I'm going to look for utility swords, I want to be prepared for anything on this wave and the next ones" Ren once again lied
"Again why? you can pick those later, right now just pick the pow-"
"You prepare for the wave your way, I'm going to do it in my way" Ren cut motoyasu before he started walking in the direction of the church
"Fine... you are just adding extra steps though" Itsuki replied as he and Motoyasu made their way back to the border of Zeltobe and Melromarc
"Finally" Ren exclaimed in relief as ge walked through the busy streets of the capital 'I won't have to worry about those idiots'
"Where to now master Ren?" Welt asked
'Oh I forgot... my party members' Ren said to himself as he would also have to get them to leave him, he trusted them enough but he thought it would be better for only he to know about his plan of synchronizing with the hourglass
"You are going to buy potions and supplies, there is 6 gold and 950 silver in this bag so you can spend what is left on your own gear" Ren said as he tossed a bag of coins to Tersia, he didn't need potions or anything of that sorts to fight the wave boss, he was sure he would win, but he needed a good excuse for his teammates not to follow him
"R-really!?" Bakta was surprised be the sword hero's sudden display of kindness, he was usually very restrict about this sort of thing
"Yeah now get going, we will meet back at this city's entrance" the sword hero said as he turned his back to the party and continues his walk onto the Church of the capital
"That was very nice of him" Farrie said since it was a rarity for the sword hero to do something like that
"Master Ren may act cold but he is a kind man" Welt replies, while the sword hero was cold most of the time, he could see that he was soft inside and probably acted the way he did to keep appearance as a legendary hero
"I hope there is enough left for me to get a new suit" Tersia said excited as she holded the bag
Ren made his way to the church, it was much more gothic in appearance compared to the one in Melromarc as it's walls were made of black stone with the roof of the building having a distinct wine coloration, Ren could also see two gargoyles shaped like dragons on the top
"Halt! the church is not open for sessions today, please come when it's open on t-"
"I'm Ren Amaki, I'm registered in the guild as the sword hero and I have come to synchronize my weapon to the hourglass" Ren said, as far as he knew, this hourglass was not managed by a church, instead it was managed by the adventurers guild and they would allow members of the guild to use it
"Bah! you think we would fall for that? we won't fall for your little words p-" before the guard could finish Ren changed his sword into it's [dark light sword] form and pointed at the throat of the guard
"Is this proof enough for you?" Ren asked as he pressed the sword a little more against the guard throat
"S-sorry for this misunderstanding sword hero! we will take you right away!"the man said as he opened the door and stretched out his arm to show to the sword hero that he was more than welcome to enter
"Good" Ren said as he lowered his sword back, the guards took him inside and once they talked to a nun inside, she gave him a guide around the church that Ren didn't really payed much attention as he just wanted to register in the hourglass and get this over with. once he got into the chamber housing the hourglass as Ren synchronized with it just like he did with the one in Melromarc, a message appeared similar to the one back in Melromarc but with a different time
'it's happening a week after the wave in Melromarc, that's good, gives me time to prepare for it' Ren smirked at this, as he would not only get time to prepare for the wave but also time to master whatever sword he gets from the wave boss of Melromarc
"It is a blessing that you have come to our country great sword hero, we will notify the r-"
"There is no need, I'm not staying in here but you can tell your king or whatever ruler you people have that the sword hero has synchronized with the hourglass" Ren interrupted the woman, from what he learned thanks to that farmer npc, it would be best for him to go to Melromarc or else the king would be suspicious and if he truly was a twist villain it would be best to make him think that he has the heroes under control 'if he turns out to be the bad guy later on, I will be strong enough to defeat him'
"A-are you sure about this swo-"
"Yes I am" Ren responded before the woman could even finish as he made his way to the exit of the church
capital of Zeltobe, coliseum
"You went pretty well in that fight if I say so" a panda woman wearing a plated chest armor complimented her friend as she prepared for her own fight
"They should get stronger monster's then, I could have handled 3 of those" Sardina replied as she cleaned her trident from the blood of her last battle
"Would you happen to be Sardina?" Superman asked as he entered the room, scaring Larsazusa while the orca woman just keep cleaning her trident
"It depends, who is asking~" Sardina said as she turned around to see who was looking for her, she saw a man in a skin tight blue suit with a red cape, she focused on his face and she could definitely tell he was handsome man with a square jaw. when she finally laid eyes on his shield, Sardina became even more interested in the man
"What are you doing here? and that costume... are you some kind of creep!" Larsazusa immediately went on the offense as she prepared herself to punch whoever this pervert was to the ground six feet under
"Calm down my friend, don't you recognize him?" Sardina said as she held her panda friend back and pointed to the man
"Should I? he just looks like a pervert to me" Larsazusa said as she rose a eyebrow in confusion, the guy didn't look like nothing more than a bizarre pervert in a tight suit
"I'm standing right here you know" superman said half sarcastically
"Shut up!" Larsazusa yelled back at him
"My dear Larsazusa, look at the shield in his arm" Sardina clarified as she pointed to the man's arm
"Shield?" the panda woman looks at him and finally notices the silver shield with a green gem on the middle "wait... you're the shield hero people are talking about, I thought they were exaggerating when they said about the skin tight clothes"
"What is it that you want with me... maybe you want a companion to spend the night?~" Sardina teased as she observed the man better
"I'm here on the behalf of Eclair Seaetto" superman said which caused Sardina to get actually surprised
"Oh! that's a surprise, I didn't expect such a powerful man like yourself to be working for her~" Sardina said, it was definitely a surprise for Eclair to be able to get a hero to herself, but with the rumors about this "Man of Steel" going around, it was definitely a good thing to have him on their side
"Seaetto? isn't that where you come from?" Larsazusa said as she was sure that Sardina had mentioned that name before
"I come from lurolona village inside of the Seaetto territory my friend" Sardina clarified to her panda friend before turning her attention back to the shield hero.
"She asked me to look for enslaved villagers on Zeltobe while Keel asked me to find you in specific" Superman clarified why he was there, Sardina let out a small chuckle as she somewhat expected Keel to ask that, he was basically her biggest fan.
"What a coincidence! I'm getting money in this coliseum to buy them back, do you know which are in lurolona right now and which are missing?" Sardina asked since although lurolona was a small village, it still had a bunch of people living there.
"I have a list" Superman took two lists from his inventory, he showed a list of the villagers in Lurolona and the other list with the people still missing.
"Well this will certainly help, I know were three of them are being held here in Zeltobe" Sardina said, this would certainly help her with finding them, heck she could give this information to the slave trader of here and ask to "pre-order" them before any other person can buy them.
"If you want I can go free them right now" superman offered, with his super speed and the [ink remover shield] it would be super easy, barely a inconvenience.
"Really? you got the money to buy them?" Larsazusa asked, unless the guy was planning on stealing the slaves the only way for him to free them would be to buy them and depending on the person owning them, it could be either very cheap or very expensive.
"I don't have to, I got a shield that free's any slave I touch" Clark responded as he changed his shield to the [ink remover shield] form.
"Holy crap, that is impressive" the panda woman was surprised not only at the shield changing form but also that it had such ability 'no wonder the shield hero started a demi human country full of freed slaves, if the guy can just take curse marks away with a touch I wonder what other crazy power he has'
"Yes it is, tell you what I will look around for the people of lurolona and buy the one's I can while you can go free the one's I can't buy, what do you say~" Sardina proposed as she extended her arm out to do a handshake with the shield hero, with his help it wouldn't even be a question if they could save the villagers.
"That sounds like a good plan" superman responded as he and Sardina did a handshake, the orca noted how much of a strong grip the shield hero had which excited her.
"Great! we better get going then" Sardina exclaimed as she prepared to leave with the man of steel leaving the room and walking through the hallway for a bit "oh and Larsazusa"
"Yeah?" the panda asked as she looked to the two in the hallway.
"Try not to lose in your next match coming up" Sardina teased as she approached and gave the panda woman a playful punch in the arm.
"Ha! as if I'm going to lose" Larsazusa replied back with a confident smirk.
Lurolona village
"Hey look the shield hero is back" one of the villagers shouted as he say the man of steel descending with a carriage, when he landed the three demi humans inside got out and were greeted by the rest of the village, everyone was excited about it... except Keel
"What about Mrs Sardina?" Keel asked as he looked around, he was happy that more people from their village were saved but he was worried that Sardina was...
"Sardina is fine, she is not a slave like the others, instead she is fighting in a coliseum to get enough money to buy the others back" Superman responded, he had asked if the orca woman would like to visit the village but she refused and said she would go there when she had brought more of the enslaved villagers
"Really!?" Keel let out a excited expression while his tail waved back and forth, he was not only happy that Mrs Sardina wasn't a slave but also that she was fighting to save the other villagers
"Yeah" superman assured
"What was she fighting in the arena? was it a big monster? a dragon? or maybe a big monster riding a dragon!?" the dog bot asked as he began imagining the orca woman fighting many impressive monster's that weren't even real
"She said it was some sort of giant worm monster" superman said, with the boy's face growing a big smile
"Really!? Oh man I wish I could have seen that!" Keel jumped in excitement as he imagined how cool the fight must have been
capital of Siltvelt
"Councilman Hamlet!" a dog Demi human woman with brown fur bursted into a fancy office caring a paper with her
"What is it now? you're disturbing my tea time" another demi human with dragon like body asked, he wore a fancy blue suit with a elegant white scarf around his neck
"The shield hero is in Siltvelt!" the dog woman screamed in excitement
"Pfft" the draconic demi human drops his tea cup while spitting out the tea in his mouth "What!?" he screamed out
"The shield hero is here in Siltvelt! it's a miracle!" the dog woman said as this news would bring a nation wide commemoration
"R-really? is he here right now!?" Hamlet asked desperately as he tried to prepare himself to meet the legendary hero
"No... we only heard rumors about him" the dog woman said, regretting saying that immediately as she saw the face of her employer grow furious
"Ugh! you disturbed me because of a rumor? I can't believe I was so naive" Hamlet said as he cleared up the table he had spilled his tea with a napkin
"But shouldn't we send our troops to find him? he is our great savior!" the dog woman said as they should use all their resources to find and help the shield savior to combat the waves
"You want me to motion a nation wide search for a shield hero we have no idea even exist?" Hamlet said as he looked down on the servant, disappointed in her naivety
"But many people have reported seeing him, he saved a small girl from a fire, stopped a dam from collapsing and more!" the dog woman argued, with the magnitude of rumors about the shield hero and how all of them had many consistencies that backed up each rumor, it seemed that it was all real possibility of the shield hero being in Siltvelt
"This is the best thing it could happen to us! I believe it is right for..." the dog woman stop's speaking as she sees a shadow over her, looking up to see the councilman staring down at her
"Can you prove to me this? hum? do you have a way of showing me solid proof that the shield hero is in Siltvelt?" Hamlet asked, he was a man of the true, even if he was a devoted of the holy shield church, he was not a man who would let fate blind him from the obvious reality
"N-no..." the dog woman said as she looked away at the powerful presence of her employer
"If there is no solid proof that he exist's then there is no reason for me to search for him" Hamlet declared, he was not a member of the council of Siltvelt for no reason, he believed in logic when it came to matters of the country, and the shield hero was a matter of national importance
"U-understood..." the dog woman responded weakly as she should have expected that reaction from her employer
"I will give a order for the church to record in a crystal ball the shield hero if he does go to the hourglass, but until he has registered or has fought a wave I will not call a council meeting for such trivial and time wasting thing like a rumor" Hamlet said as he waved his scalely hand
"Of course..." the dog woman said as she bowed down and stayed there until her employer allowed her to leave
Hamlet turned his back to the servant and walked over to his desk, he steps in the tea cup he had dropped and looks down on it for a bit "Now make yourself useful and bring myself another tea cup" he ordered to the servant, still with his back to her

I hope it is okay for me to be using Sardina instead of Sadeena, the little ~ in Sardina's dialogue means that she is talking in a flirtatious tone of voice
Hamlet is a OC and he is here to be the representative of the dragon like demi human race (aotatsu if I'm correct)
I'm suffering a sort of writer's block, I have finished the chapter's up to chapter 10 but it's just the dialogue, the problem comes in describing things like what the characters are feeling, the fights and etc. I bet you can see some of it in this chapter, I should really try to take some classes on creative writing or something
Also I would like to say that I will be trying to write something that is not related to Shield hero in the future but as I said before, Isekai's are much easier to write. I was thinking of something like a spider man and MHA crossover fanfic or something with Ben 10 but as of right now nothing is completely planned. Also I was planning on doing some one-shot's of sorts but I have to try and actually write them instead of just imagining in my head.
to NexusPrime14: I would really like that, but the beta reader system is god awful in finding one person in particular, so if you could help me with this whole thing I would appreciate. hopefully I will have figured it out by the time I finish the next chapter
to destinyxt: it is a possibility but maybe I should give Motoyasu or Itsuki a filolia, heck any of them could get one but considering their party members... Motoyasu is the most plausible one since Ren already has five party members so another one would decrease the exp gain of the group, Itsuki would possibly not have the interest in one but also he will eventually have Rishia. Motoyasu is the only one where a party member could be replaced, it happened to everyone in his group aside from Malty since she was the reason they keep leaving so I guess he could get a filolia (that way I could add Filo in the story as she is my favorite character)
to David Gumazon1: sorry but I'm not going in that direction for the same reason I won't have Mirellia fall in love with Clark, it feels forced. I know that Rifana reincarnated in glass world but still having her be the reincarnation of Lois lane wouldn't work at all since lois was alive when superman died and Rifana was born years before he even got into Melromarc. the reason most writer's don't include this in their stories is because we know very little about Rifana and it is not necessary to the plot, I get your point with Raphtalia but still if you want Rifana and the shield hero to get married you should write your own story about this (plus look at how the justice league treated captain marvel/shazam once they found out he was a kid, although that would depend on the continuate or comic, the version I know is from young justice)
to Student: I completely forgot about those two, but for my own sake I better not put them in the story just yet, maybe during the events of season two. He will definitely do that the problem is knowing when to put this events happening, Itsuki is the hardest as we get little information about his rescue of rishia or his assassination of that country's leader, all we know is that he did.
party members sure is coming up a lot and so is Galileo (or Galileon if you prefer, personally I like Galileo more even if is a mistranslation) so I might have to make him Clark's party member as it is honestly not bad just the fact that he wouldn't be doing much outside of Melromarc, but I can make it work(I don't know if he should be a vassal hero or just get more powerful by absorbing dragon emperor cores) but it might take some time. Rino is a worst option compared to Galileo in that regard but I'm not against having her be saved and maybe join Lurolona village, they could definitely use a mage and after that betrayal she would want to stay as far away from the capital as possible
to Guest: I have not intention of having other DC heroes appearing in the story outside of mention, I considered for a while having batman as the projectile hero but I scrapped that (feel free to use the idea though) so there is no plans for DC characters to appear
to Firestorm818: I appreciate the offer, but until I can figure out how the beta reader system work I will keep doing it on my own (plus someone already offered to fix the grammar errors, but again I have to figure out the beta reader search engine first)
to zanzara: yes, superman would never date a little girl who just magically aged up, however the idea of Rifana having a romantic rival could be fun but it might also be pointless. Eclair is mostly managing Lurolona but I can definitely give her something to do (but she will not join superman, if anything either her or Raphtalia could be the Jimmy Olsen equivalent of the story, serving as superman's pal)
to Perseus12: Aultcray kind of deserves it if we can be honest, his racism and blind trust in his daughter's word makes him unfit to rule. Melty would do a better job according to the canon and she is like 11 or something
to Lix123: he would definitely deserve but superman wouldn't do that unless Aultcray did something very much deserving of such thing that superman learned about

to AnimeFan13579: I like that idea, might implement it in the next chapter. also yeah batman would be overpowered, I kind of want to write about it now but again I'm focusing on this fanfic for now so that idea will have to be put in the freezer (I'm surprised no one tried that before)
to ZukahaniMultiColor: they will prepare for the wave for sure and as the story goes on the village will grow stronger, also is it true that fitoria has that power? I never heard about it before but fitoria will find superman before the third wave that I assure you (after a quick look in the wiki I can confirm she has that power but it only applies to Filo because she was chosen by fitoria to be the next filolia queen)
