The movie began, but Benny kept his eye on Mike. He had been in this air conditioned movie theatre for over ten minutes, yet he was still sweating. Mike had tried to sit near this girl, Bianca, she didn't seem comfortable around him. It was clear they had been together for not long ago. Maybe he was an abusive jerk, but Benny feared it was even worse. Then Mike left the theatre, but kept his backpack in the his seat.
.
Mike quickly went to the men's room stall. He knew he had to send a specific number to activate the bomb, but he couldn't remember the number. He knew it was two numbers, actually the same number repeated. Mike just had to do all the numbers, 11 through 99, until the bomb went off.
.
Benny knew it was risky, going through a suspect's backpack with no real probable cause. But there were maybe 100 innocent people in this theatre, and that included his two grandchildren. So Benny opened this backpack, and immediately saw the bomb.
.
Benny: There's a bomb! Everyone out!
.
The crowd was surprised, but they all knew what had happened in Virginia, and they obeyed and fled. Benny threw the backpack to an empty corner and brought his grandchildren out.
.
From his bathroom stall Mike didn't hear the excited crowd. He entered 77 and send, nothing happened. Mike then sent 88 and send.
.
The bomb received the proper signal and detonated.
.
Mike heard the explosion, and went outside. He knew he looked nervous, he could now blend in with other shocked people. When Mike came out, he was shocked to see Bianca alive. She was shaken by the experience, but otherwise she seemed unhurt. Benny recognized Mike, and pointed him out to the security guards. Mike tried to flee, he barely made it out the front door before they tackled him to the ground. Mike knew his life, or at least his life as a free man, was over now.
