Kyle Singer went to speak with Vaachaspati. Vaachaspati was a doctor, believed strongly in the consistent life ethic interpretation of islam. He treated everyone, regardless of their political or religious affiliation. All of the local groups trusted him, they all needed his skills. As such, he might be in the best position to plant a listening device at Hekmetyar's meeting. Vaachaspati has been hesitant to get involved, it's one reason he's survived for so long. But Kyle and Major Barnes know he fears what will happen when America leaves Afghanistan, so hopefully he'll play ball this time.

Eric Carter continues to question Miguel. Although Miguel has made it clear that he's only familiar with small firearms, he still claims he murdered Mike with the sniper rifle.

Eric: You really don't care that you'll be spending the rest of your life in prison?
Miguel: I'm already institutionalized, can't survive on the outside.
Eric: You might not care about your own life, but what about your son's? If I'm right, you're in bed with neo-nazis. I'm guessing part of this arrangement is that they give your son money, enough to keep him away from a life of crime.
Miguel: What father doesn't want their child to have a better life than they had?
Eric: Do you think nazis will keep their word and give money to a hispanic teenager? And by the time you start to realize this, their plan will be competed. Frankly they're more likely to kill him to keep him quiet. You want to protect him, the best thing you could do for him is to take down these neo-nazis.
Miguel: I don't know much, I'll tell you what I know.

At Layeq's apartment the pizza arrives. Heather is still mistrustful of Georgia and Layeq, thus she refuses to drink the beer. Rudy on the other hand drinks, unconcerned with what might happen to his girlfriend, they'll all be dead soon enough.

Dmitry watches the streets from his office. There are the normal early morning street cleaners, but more than usual. Today there is suppossed to be a celebration, a way to help unite the Russian people behind the war effort in Ukraine. Dmitry has even heard rumors that president Putin might be attending this event himself. That would be ideal for this operation, but if his security won't let him go to this event, the operation will still go ahead.
